The best pizza no doubt...... I love the pan pizza with mushrooms... Great service and prices even better with a groupon.... The first call that I make when we land in Detroit is to Jet's so they can deliver a pizza....

I like Jet's Pizza, it is honest my favorite place to get Pizza in Detroit. Something about the crust, and the way they do cheese is particularly stand-out. It's for these reasons, whenever we order pizza, i like to get Jets. I have picked up a few times, the service is pretty good as well.

I am from Chicago, and I am SERIOUS about my pizza. I am definitely a "Chicago Style" pizza fan, but this is definitely the best "Detroit style" pizza. I ususally get an XL half cheeze and Half pepperoni and eat it for dinner/take it to work for the next 3-4 days. It tastes really good the next day, and my friends are always jealous when I bring it to work/on call. It isn't the BEST pizza I have ever had, but it definitely rounds out the top 5.

Terrible location. Each time I've placed an order it has been delivered 30 min to an hour late (1.5-2 hrs). I thought they were remedying the issue from last time, when it took 2 hrs and arrived as if it had been refrigerated, by crediting the order and including the delivery. But no, they hacked down the order and made me pay delivery. Andre the manager I show with for the reorder seems as if the concept of customer service is foreign. Pathetic. I love Jet's pizza, but my experiences have been terrible since I moved downtown.

Take it for what it's worth, a chain is a chain. Don't expect this place to bust out food channel worthy stuff. Judging it relatively, this is a good location. I have gotten pizza from here 5 times now via delivery and every time our wait has been minimal and definitely less than they say when I call and order. I've been getting jets since I was young, and this is one of the better chains that I have been to. I've never had a pizza that was made incorrectly or not perfectly toasty on the outside of the pan pizza. It's a great location for delivery around the eastern downtown area if you're too lazy to get off your couch like I am a lot. For people that haven't had Jets before, you need to get jets. It's Detroit style pizza which is similar to Pizza Hut pan pizza but much much better. The crust is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside and very thick and greasy. It's fantastic. Just give it a try. The chicken with banana peppers feta and tomatoes (I forgot the actual name of the pizza) is my go to.

As a former pizza store owner and operator, and more importantly, as a hungry, well-fed Italian man, I know pizza, and Jet's "Pizza" is not deserving of the name. While the franchise is very popular in Michigan, I believe it is because most people do not recognize great pizza. The first, most offensive part of their recipe is the unbelievable amount of oil that this place puts on the bottom of their square pizzas. It is insane. Real pizza should be crisp from the rack or pan, and not due to the copious amount of oil that is oozing at the bottom of the pan, and then soaked into the dough. That is just disgusting. Don't believe me about the amount of oil? Just check out the greasy stain on the bottom of the box when you're done ingesting this crap. And don't let them or lesser educated people try and explain it away that it is from steam from the pie. It is most certainly not. There may be a little steam in a box, but steam rises and most of it is at the top of the box and not the bottom. Most Americans love grease and butter, and this is why Jet's is popular. If that's not enough for you, maybe this will be. Beyond the grease is the grease-filled dough, which is flavorless (if you don't factor in the oily taste that I despise). I'm not sure about the recipe, but I'm sure one of the ingredients reads, "4 cups of Bland." They also have a tendency of overcooking the cheese at this location, so be on the watch for that. There are some pluses, which has kept this review from a one-star rating. They do have the old-fashioned peperoni, which any real Italian pizza should have. Also, the sauce isn't horrible. Here, they didn't put on enough, which may have helped with the overall taste of the pie. Also, the cheese blend isn't the best, but it most certainly is not the worst I've come across. While Jet's is certainly better than Little Caesar's, Papa John's and Domino's, it still receives a failing grade. Go back to how you were when you first debuted (or at least when I first tried it) in the 1990's, and MAYBE they could win me and other true pizza lovers back.

Any pizza place that puts canned mushrooms on a pizza should not be selling pizza. Also agree that there is way too much grease. Terrible.

This location has served me very well. I always get carry out and order via online or the phone. A few times they messed up my order but gave me free stuff to makeup for the extra wait - excellent. Sadly, the people at the register are usually horrible with customer service experience and have a weird attitude and overall slowness about them. There's one guy, probably the lead or manager, who often steps in and helps things along - he's very professional. Other than the sketchy ghetto Detroiters who like to wander in and be loud and obnoxious, this place is great.

Jet's is my new favorite pizza! I actually miss Detroit because I want more of this pizza. (OK, so Detroit isn't horrible, but I don't hear anyone saying, ". . . someday, I want to move to DETROIT"). Metropolitan preferences aside, the crust on this pizza is the main draw. I was a Chicago style pizza devotee before having Jet's. I thought there was some magical combination of sauce, crust thickness, and ingredients that made one pizza better than the others. However, Jet's just proved that the best tasting pizza can result by placing prodigious amounts of butter on the crust then baking said crust to crispy shell, doughy middle perfection! The sauce and toppings are really just items to finish off the crust masterpiece. . . . daydream over, if you happen have a spare moment between dodging stray bullets in Detroit, you have to stop by Jet's and discover

0 stars if I could. This is the worst and most unprofessional pizza place I have ever frequented. I am done wasting my time here. I live in the area and recommend the drive to Amiccis (or others) in Hamtramck. I have had several incidents with this Jets. Incident 1: Delivery driver made it to my loft building an hour and half after call-in and I reside only 0.5 miles away from this Jets business. I had to locate said driver within my loft building cause he was lost for 15 minutes wandering my hallways. In his defense the circumnavigation of my building can get tricky as you rise in level. Unfortunately for him I'm on the first floor and gave very specific directions. When I finally made it to him (he's the delivery guy) he had no change and expected me to give it all to him. Negative. He got pissed. Get learn't fool... Incident 2: Called in for a pick-up 30 minutes prior to closing time. The person taking the order took approximately 8 minutes or so just to ring it in (with not being put on hold), all I ordered was a simple round (hand tossed jets special 5 topping pizza). As I look at my coupon that clearly states $12.99 the guy on phone proceeds to argue with me and tell me its $20.99, $15.99 and several other denominations as I continue to communicate to him that I am holding their still valid coupon (that I received from them last time) and that's the price. I dropped my argument and decided to present my coupon to management when I arrived. When I showed up, the guy on phone wasn't present. A young lady could not find my order in the computer. My pizza wasn't even in the oven yet. Manager comes up and recalls the phone call and order coming in cause dude took 8 minutes to ring it in. Manager states he will put the pizza in now and should be 10 minutes or so. As I continue to wait upwards of 20 minutes the wrong pizza comes out, its a square. My girlfriend doesn't like squares cause they are a bit too crunchy. I clearly stated repeatedly hand-tossed round numerous (at least 6 or 7) times. Now I'm getting furious. Almost an hour since I called this in. I could of had this delivered sooner from most other places. The manager offers to make me a new one. Yeah dude, I want to wait another 20 minutes or so, making it way past your closing time. I have to recommend taking the charge of my card, manger didn't even recommend it or offer any sort of consellation. I asked for the number to corporate and he sends out the "regional manager" who was there at close on a Sunday, this struck me kind of odd. I asked Mr. Regional how many stores he has and he responds this one and the one in Hamtramck. Sounds more like an owner to me. I ask him for corporates number and he gives me one from 586 area code. I didn't know Jets pizza was based out of Madison Heights (10 miles away), turns out the number was his. Why in the hell would I want to call him when I am talking to him face-to-face right now? I recommend avoiding this spot at all costs. I do like the quality and flavor of Jets pizza but definitely will not utilize this Jets ever again. Good luck, not only do they attempt to gouge you, they have the most incompetent customer service I have come across in quite some time. I still intend on contacting corporate.

OK I usually go in and get the deep dish pepperoni pizza. (Now with the turbo crust :-)) Good pizza. It's just tasty, not average, not gourmet, pizza. And the salad is good as well. All they need are some boiled eggs to make a chef salad. I gave them 4 stars because the pizza is greasy. But that's probably why its so good. Update-I only do the spicy pepperoni now. It's so delish. Crispy and sometimes they have 2 or 3 stuck together :-)
