The best place in the RenCen. I frequent this deli for coffee & breakfast in the morning and enjoy the vast selection for lunch! From fresh produce to one of a kind pizzas and sandwiches and more, you need to pay this place a visit the next time you are in the Renaissance Center for any length of time. Service is first class and QUICK! Check it out.

I have to commend the manager of the Gourmet Deli for his prompt attention to an issue I encountered about two weeks ago. I've been frequenting the deli several times per week as I work in the RenCen and never had an issue with my meal until this one day. He asked me to forward him my photograph of the food in question to show the cooks and promptly refunded my meal price and covered the cost of my meal the next day when he saw me in line, as well. I told him I'm usually not the type to go complain to Yelp, instead preferring to bring it up with the manager privately and not make a scene about it. He seemed to appreciate that and said he takes pride in his strong rating here and wouldn't want one incident to jeopardize that. This one hiccup in quality was the exception, not the rule based on the number of times I've gotten breakfast and lunch from the deli, but the customer service went above and beyond. All the employees are courteous and friendly and the way they handled my one issue guarantees I'll come back for more.

Clean place and great soups. Tons too chose from including Fresh Fruit and a great salad bar. Only issue is the price. It could be a buck less for lunch and maybe a cheaper daily special. The staff is quick and efficient.

We have been enjoying breakfast and lunch at this deli for several months now. Breakfast is normally one of the fresh-baked muffins. Lots of flavors like choco chip and orange/cranberry. All are hot and delicious. Bacon and scrambled eggs plus a biscuit are also enjoyed from time to time. Their fresh salad bar is great. Easy to make up a salad with just what we like. They have a wide selection of vegetables, all freshly cut, as well as other toppings like fried chicken strips, shrimp, ham, and items like olives, peppers...all the items you could possible think of for your salad. Must have about 20 different dressings as well. And the fresh fruit they put on the salad bar is amazing. Berries of all types that are always fresh plus pineapple and melons make it difficult to decide what to eat at times. They recently added fried shrimp and specially fried chicken to their entrees. Have tried both and they are great. Shrimp are nice size with a light batter that allows you to actually taste the shrimp. The chicken is lightly battered as well and we found it to be juicy and quite tasty. They have many other entrees, a special each day, as well as sandwiches and sides. They carry a large selection of packaged chips, snacks, nuts, candies and fruit as well as bottled drinks and fountain drinks. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Makes us feel at home! If you are in the Renaissance Center, try this deli. You won't be dissappointed! They are open from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Excellent eatery with a wide selection if different food. Its a takeout kind if place with several tables. The salad is fresh and the soups divine. Reasonably priced too.
