We had scrambled eggs, pork chops, waffles and grits. I highly recommend the pork chops and waffles. The eggs and grits were flavorless. Grits should be seasoned during the cooking process. All the butter, salt and pepper in the world won't help them afterwards. The pork chops and waffles were delicious though. We were expecting the African American version of pork chops (dredged in flour, fried and served with gravy), but we got grilled pork chops and gravy, on request. It was disappointing until I took the first bite. Nicely done and much healthier, too. I wouldn't call the service friendly, at all, but not rude either. I prefer to be greeted and served with a smile like at Grecian Table or Copper Penny, but they don't have pork chops.
