NEWSFLASH: It's ice cream. My wife and had a BOGO coupon from the Entertainment Book and we each had chocolate milkshakes. CC ice cream is almost too sweet so if you are thinking that you want a large, downgrade to a medium because it is that sweet and you'll feel more nauseous than satiated. I think places like Cold Stone and Marble Slab are expensive so I only go if I have a coupon, otherwise I pass. This location is right in the heart of Greektown so parking is a nightmare or a 20 minute journey in itself. Bring a partner, drop them off and circle the block.

Came here because my friend had a buy one get one free coupon. You have to enter the casino complex to get Cold Stone. It was a bit slow since there was two other patrons ahead of us and there was only one worker there. We both ordered a signature. The girl who worked there was nice and was okay to us asking for less syrup. I don't like Cold Stones in general. It is way too sweet and that was what happened to us this time. Even with the reduced syrup it was still too sweet for us and we weren't able to finish. If you have a sweet tooth this place is for you.

So who wants to complain about ice cream? umm... NOT ME! The cheesecake heaven they create there is just delicious! And lucky for me I had someone to split it with. We got the "love it" size and it was absolutely huge. Packed with cheesecake ice cream, cherries, strawberries, and graham crackers you couldn't go wrong. This particular location is very busy on the weekend due to it being inside trappers alley. We waited in line for about 15 minutes because there were only two girls working the entire store. But it was definitely well worth the wait. I was very surprised and happy to see they had "low-fat" smoothies on their menu. They COULD be made with splenda if you wanted and some had only 200 calories. I am pretty sure the smoothies were made with their sherbet or their sugar free selections. I really want to go back just to try that out! I LOVE ICE CREAM!

Always a sweet treat when I come to Cold Stone. I love their birthday cake remix, it hits the spot consistently.

If you know Cold Stone, then you already know of their exceptional ice cream. The variety of flavors and mix-ins is mind boggling (from traditional vanilla to, heaven's gift to man, cake batter ice cream & sprinkles to chopped snickers) but if you frequent the downtown area and have never tried them, then what the heck are you waiting for? Even though there are usually only about two or three people working here at a time, they still manage to get through a bunch of people in line in a few minutes. The only negative is that there isn't anywhere to sit to eat your ice cream, but I suppose that gives you the opportunity to eat, walk and burn a few calories at the same time. The fact that this is a Cold Stone is reason enough to stop here for some of the world's best ice cream.

As a cold stone fanatic, this location provides convenience because it's at the heart of downtown. Cons- always a line and it's pricey. However, there are BOGO sales and random promotions that are pretty decent. Pros- It's amazing! It's addicting! I love to add and substitute to make it my own. My latest fav is the cake batter ice cream, cookie dough, Oreos, caramel, fudge, whipped cream inside as well as out. Thank me later it'll change your life. I call it the "VMack" try it
