They just redid this place - new menu, new name (The District), and I believe new owners. I tried it today since I work in the building. Ordered the baby spinach salad with chicken. My friend got the chicken salad sandwich with chips. Both of us were happy with our choices. It was delicious, but mainly we chose it out of convenience. It's important to note, we called ahead for take-out. This place just re-opened Monday and we've heard they are still trying to iron out some of the service issues and it has been slow. I'm sure I'll try it again soon and will update my rating accordingly.

One Fifty is not really my taste. It feels like a cheaper version of Mosaic. And the color scheme kind of turns me off, I am not sure why. But I met my friend here for lunch because she works next door. The crowd was a bunch of people you could tell that worked in the financial district. Maybe they didn't have any other choices? She ordered the Mediteranean salad. And I ordered the Turkey Monterey panini. Her salad came so soon and I had to wait well over thirty minutes for my food to arrive. She wasn't too happy with her salad and it looked just like anything I could make at home. My panini was just ok, you could tell the quality of the meat was not great and the bread quality was not good either. It was a very soft, cheap, white bread. Decor, food, service all were just average. For a ten dollar panini I was not satisfied. I recommend to eat else where.

Worst customer service I have ever witnessed at a restaurant. They seated a party with the same number of people before us even after we got there 15 mins prior to the seated party. We asked to order right away when we were actually seated and the waitress didn't even look at us for a good 10 mins. She asked other tables if they were ready to order though our party was in a rush and we were ready. The food was brought out late, and one of the dishes was made completely incorrectly. Talked to the owner and the best thing she could say to us was "sorry." My friend's salad also had some tomatoes with the stems still on it. A lady tripped right in front of us because the floor was not clean. There are so many things that went wrong my mind cannot even fathom it right now. I understand mistakes happen, but it's all about how they are corrected. A simple sorry from an owner is really not good enough for what we had experienced. I just don't understand why? Someone tell me why! I have been there before and the service wasn't bad. I found out that previously, a father and son used to run the operations and now one of the other family members has taken over running the place. Its sad to know this restaurant is gonna fail because of her.

This review will demonstrate my level of laziness. I've eaten here countless times, but mainly because I work in the building, so argh. This place isn't 3 stars, and it's not 2 stars. There are a few items here which don't suck. Other than that, this place has its pluses and minuses. Food: Chicken salad wrap is decent. Homemade potato chips are delicious. The fries aren't bad either. My favorite though is the chicken tortilla soup with crispy tortillas in it. I get it without the sour cream in it though. I've tried some of the other food there, mostly during lunchtime, and it's just a slight bit greasy. One thing you'll probably observe are that most dishes seem to be $2-4 overpriced. Ambiance: They've tried really hard to make this place chic with stone bar accents, tile, and lots of black furniture. Unfortunately, it's not really the right part of town for this. I have no idea what this place is like at night except one night I was working late and took a bunch of co-workers down there. We didn't fit in. One huge problem: this place doesn't like to run their heat. Every time I've gone down there for lunch, it's 60 degrees in there. I could use their dining room as a meat locker. Service: Here's where they just don't shine. 50% of the time the service is fine, but the other 50% of the time, it's horrid. You'd think this place was in France where they expect you to take a two-hour lunch. There are so many other places to eat in this area that I like so much more. Regardless, this shows my level of laziness having eaten at a 2.5 star place multiple times. I don't like the rain. It ruins my already messed up hair.

I love this place. It's small and tucked away and a great place to stop and have lunch. I'd say it's more of a two dollar sign lunch spot. The salads are tasty and very generously proportioned that you'll get your money's worth. I often order the caesar salad with shrimp. It's rarely been busy when I come at high noon on a weekday and the service is efficient and attentive. If you order your lunch to go, they often throw in a chocolate-chip cookie. Score!

I love supporting Detroit businesses and keeping my money in the city to help it grow, but this is one business that will NOT see any more of my money. Horrible customer service, disrespectful staff, and subpar food after an excessively long wait time.

For some reason I have never heard of One Fifty until I was invited to a private party there last weekend. I am unsure how I managed to pass it all the time, but never seemed to look to the left and notice it. Either way, this is where I spent last Saturday night. Unfortunately it was on-again, off-again rain, so I couldn't enjoy the ambiance outside. In fact, once the rain let up I took my date out there, but within 4 minutes the rain came back. The inside is fairly small. I'm unsure how it looks during the day, but at night there were less tables and more open space for people to dance and mingle. Instead of full meals, there was a little snack/buffet area where you could fill a plate with chicken skewers, raw veggies and fruit. My date ordered a red bull & vodka for me, and it was Just OK. I would have appreciated a bit more alcohol. Overall, I give it 4 stars. The people that threw the party wanted an intimate setting, and that it was.

Came here today during lunch break with 4 others. We arrived at approximately 12:40 and were seated immediately. After about at least 10 minutes, we were asked our drink and food order. At approx 1:15pm, a soup was brought out for one of the orders. We then inquire how long it is going to take for our food to come out because our lunch hour ends at 1:30pm. After seeing someone come out when asked about our order and say "which table is it?" we were a little upset. The place was not busy at all. We first decided we were going to take our food to go but then that small task took even more time. Not sure if it was the manager who brought the food out but it is a bit ridiculous when the tone of her was implying that it was our fault that the order was not placed at a reasonable amount of time. (According to her 5-7 min of being seated.) Clearly, this was not the case. I have only been here a handful of times and each and every time, service has been slow and we have arrived late back to work. When 3 out of the 5 orders are salads, I don't think it should take a full hour to serve lunch.
