Fantastic breakfast at a fair price, very different options. I went with the raspberry mocha pancakes and was not disappointed. I have driven past this place a 100 times and finally stopped in. Glad I did.

Had an early afternoon breakfast. Ordered a crepe special. Crepes were good except for canned whipped cream on top. Why? Is this a kid's dish or diner? The raspberries were magnificent and plentiful. The shredded dehydrated potatoes were greasy and completely without flavor (unless you count griddle grease). The bacon was deep fried until it was tasteless and gross. My companion had a hair in her potato pancake, the waitress apologized but no manager came over. That was weird. We both had poached eggs which were prepared well, so congrats on that. It was a bit disturbing to see the staff eating behind register, just inside the kitchen and in front standing at the bar in between waiting on customers. Also saw 2 young ladies redo their pony tails in the front if the house. I'm not sure who is training the staff but please tweak things a bit. I would also suggest the zillion TVs be tuned to the audience. All were on a sports game, only 2 men in restaurant and I overheard the ladies next to me complaining.

I have never walked out of a restaurant before. Today was the first. First off, when food comes to the table, IT NEED'S, and SHOULD BE HOT !! IF YOUR COOKS DONT KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CRISPY AND BURNT. Then they need another job. Even the toast was burnt ! Both were sent back. So in retaliation, WHITE BREAD, SPRAYED WITH BUTTER, was sent back. NO BACON EVER CAME BACK. One of our diners never got her toast she ordered. Another diner ordered, Cinnamon Raisin French Toast, it came the way it was ordered, BUT WITH A BONUS !!! IT was room temperature. This was not our waitress's fault. It was definitely something going on in the kitchen. Yes your business was busy when we came in. But some people came ate & left, before we got our orders. I may try your place again, as I'm from California and eat out 2x a day. Hope thing improve by then

Great breakfasts. Only reason they do not warrant 5 stars is that service is hit and miss. We have been here several times, breakfast mainly. I just had one of their specials, a lobster omelet. All omelets are 3 egg, and cooked to perfection. I hate any brown on the omelet, and always specify, cooked lightly, no brown. They always come out cooked to perfection. Hashbrowns, on the other hand, I prefer cooked well. And crispy they come! Now omelets are pricey, my typical veggie omelet runs $9.99, and the lobster omelet was $12.99. However, worth every penny. They are huge, 2 servings for me. And the lobster omelet has at least 3 lobster claws, ( maybe more since I couldn't finish half the omelet). When service is good, it's great, but when it's off....oh my. Today, we were warned that our server "was busy". And the restaurant was busy, but food didn't take too long to come. We ended up being served by what appeared to be the front manager. Worked out fine, better end of the deal from what we could tell. Watching the waitress we were supposed to have..... A bit disorganized. Maybe she was new. Oh well, awesome breakfasts, very creative menu.

I rarely go all five stars any more....but when a place has this kinda service/ food combo....well, yeah, I'm all in. My wife, son and I all came here today, and rarely do we find that we all agree, especially on food. Today was one of those. My wife had the cheese crepes, and found them "awesome." My son had the Belgium Oreo Waffles, "splendid, but very rich" (he's a teenager folks). I myself had the French Connection french toast/egg/hash/ bacon combo, and was also quite pleased. All in all, we got out for under $33 with a ten percent off coupon (right here on Yelp), so couldn't beat it. Our waitress was great, couldn't have been more attentive. In short, we'll be back!

I have a hard time giving it a 3 becaue they give me a hard time. I've been here 3 times and every single time I have come they give me a hard time. So I am a vegetarian and almost everything there comes with a meat side. Every time I ask to switch the meat side for ANYTHING else they always give me the hardest time. They always say they have to charge me more and I agree but the waitreess is still nasty about it. The food is actually good here so it's disappointing that the waitresses are so nasty and their vegetarian options are so horrible. If they improve on that I may be back but after 3 times there and the waitress being so nasty every time we won't be back.

This restaurant is consistently great. It doesn't matter if it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The French Hookup is top notch. There's mix-matched pictures hanging on the walls, it's a little dingy and outdated, and you aren't going to find any heathy options.. but that's the way a great classic diner is supposed to be.

  • Lynn M.

This is really a good diner. I always loved the chicken wrap. The last time I got it I was not impressed. It was very different and not so tasty. I am hoping it was just a new cook and it will be better when I go back. I will go back and give it another try. They have a great menu with a lot of variety. It is usually very busy so be prepared to wait for a take out.

One of our favorite places to eat breakfast! Affordable and pancakes are delish!!! I would suggest this place to everyone for an awesome, affordable, friendly meal.

I'm usually fine with Strawberry Fields but I have two problems - one with dine-in and one with carry-out. Dine in: Their menu is ridiculous. While I know they try and offer variety, their menu takes all day to read. There's several sections and there's just too many options. Less is more. Carryout: Not consistent. I ordered a dish I usually get and when I picked it up and brought it home, it looked completely different. No, they didn't change it permanently but they ran out of their usual ingredients so they substituted it with something else without telling me when I initially ordered. So I brought it back. Waste of time going there and taking it back.

Boyfriend and I stopped in tonight for dinner. We haven't been here in years and last time we had it we didn't care for it at all. But since we had a coupon we decided to give it another shot. Not too busy but we were seated immediately. Very large menu. I mean pages after pages to the point I thought it was never ending. Pretty much this place literally has everything. I ordered a chicken salad pita wrap, while my boyfriend had a Philly cheese sandwich. Chicken salad wrap was served on a flat bread wrap, which i thought was pretty different but cool. Except the chicken salad was very dry and I had to ask for mayo (which was an up charge) Steak fries were soggy. My boyfriends sandwich was served on a dried out sesame seed sub bun. Nothing like trying to eat dinner while breaking your teeth in the process. Service was very very slow. Never got refills and took over 20 minutes to get a bill. Each time a waitress came to our table it was a different person. Parking lot doesn't have any lights, beware. Menu could be downsized. Very dirty inside and out (including restrooms) Waitstaff could be more friendly. Prices are in the steeper side compared to similar restaurants in the area.

As the name implies this is a beatles themed resteraunt and one of our local favorites. It's a great place for breakfast lunch or dinner. They have a large menu with plenty of variety to choose from. They have good pizza and run salad and soup specials regularly along with special seasonal dishes. They even serve alcohol so that's a plus too. Personally, I normally get the tuna or chicken salad melts with soup. My son loves the pizza and my wife is more adventurous trying different dishes. However when it's breakfast time they have a great menu and of course they serve breakfast all the time. Finally they have a customer loyalty program. You receive a 5 dollar credit for every 50 dollars you spend there. Highly recommend this locally owned business.

I've been here twice now and both times I have been impressed. First, the portions are huge, second the service is quick and last it doesn't matter how crowded they are they never make you feel rushed when you are ordering. I ordered an omelette and asked if they could put ham in it instead of sausage and they were very accommodating. My husband ordered their crepes and said they were fantastic and my friend ordered their pancakes and loved them. Defintely worth the drive for us, next time I would like to try lunch or dinner!

After living in the Chesterfield area my entire life, I finally made it in to Strawberry Field's with my Mom the other night. As a pretty big Beatles fan, I naturally really adored the choice in decor, music, and quirky names for dishes on the menu. The menu itself is enormous. Seemed like they made just about anything you could have wanted -- a good thing, yes, but for an indecisive person like me, if was a challenge! After craving stir fry all week I decided on the chicken stir fry, while my mother opted for fish and chips. Alec, our waiter, was fairly new but he was quite accommodating and answered some of our questions. My mother's salad came our prompt while the rest of our meal showed up shortly after. My chicken stir fry was heavenly! I'm a big fan of Mongolian BBQ or my mom's stir fry but I must say .... it really hit the spot! The rice was delectable and the chicken and veggies were seasoned just to my liking. my side of onion rings were actually done well and crispy -- just like I like them. A bonus and rarity on my book! As far as the fish and chips, my Mom enjoyed those as well. For someone who isn't a big fish fan, I also enjoyed this dish as well. In short, I cannot wait to come back for dinner or grab a meal to go. The staff seemed like they loved their job and the food is good enough for me to return again. Might have to try some pancakes!

I paid 12 dollars for a Blt and a cup of soup, which I thought was extremely pricey. Then I get home and the sandwich wasn't good. The bacon was rubbery and the bread was soggy. It tastes like it was just thrown in the microwave. Very upset and won't be going back for a while.

Mom-n-Pop restaurant, great food at reasonable prices. Great service. Had a nice meal in the late afternoon. I checked in on my smartphone and received a 10% off coupon on my phone. They have a Strawberry Fields gift card and two tickets to a movie special for $35. Check their website for more deals (dessert club, kids club, birthday club) and to see their online menu.

This 2 star rating is only because my son plays football at North!!! Other then that, I hate this place so much. The whole hatred stems form this... I order the wings buffalo style and stress... BUFFALO STYLE 2 times to the elderly waitress... she brings the bread we asked for and 20 minutes later... out comes the BBQ Wings I didn't order... Drowning in Bar B Que sauce!!! I say, :I ordered Buffalo Wings... she looks at the wings and says, Yes, and there they are.... Giant gobs of BBQ dripping all over, smelling up the area with the open pit smell... I say NO these are BBQ not BUFFALO... she says are you sure? Yes I am sure!!!!!! She takes them back to the window that I can see clearly where the cooks are... they make faces and then taste the wings,... Now, 10 minutes more go by and she brings the wings back to me... the same wings with Buffalo sauce poured over the BBQ sauce!!!! Are You Kidding Me???? Is this what happens when orders are wrong and sent back?? She said... the cooks don't want to throw these wings out... just try them!!! I was never in my life so taken a back... forget about it!!! We are never going back to that Beatles Love Fest!!! Worst Local Kitchen I have ever seen in my life!!!

Don't let the outside fool you, This restaurant is wonderful! The service is so personal and friendly and the food is delicious! They make fresh squeeze orange and all their food is fresh and homemade. The outside looks a little outdated and shady but the food is well worth it!!

My better half, daughter and grandson stopped by a few days ago. It was my first time dining there. I thought the place was clean and tidy. I like the Beatles theme they have going on. The waitress was very attentive. The menu is huge! So much to choose from. Our food was delicious. Everything tasted fresh. The service was great. Will return with the rest of the family!

Sorely disappointed in Strawberry Fields the past couple times that I have gone. One time I went ahead and got the Cowboy Hash, which always treated me well in the past -- on this occasion, it was absolutely soaked in butter. It still tasted pretty good, but there was a major butter overload. The next time I chose to get the quesadilla because it was all that I was in the mood for ... same exact problem. The top was fine, but the bottom of my plate was a puddle of butter, and the tortilla was soaked and soggy. Again, tasted pretty decent, but the butter was entirely unnecessary. The salsa that came with it was super bleh, and no doubt from a bottle/can. I'm still a fan of Strawberry Fields, but it's been a letdown as of late. Maybe I'll have to start asking for light or no butter.

Food poising for both my hubby and I .. Not a clean establishment. It is always packed. Mind blowing! Not much else around; perhaps that's why? Service was mediocre. Thought food was ok, until we both got food poisoning..

Okay want to be fair so have to say my food was very good. Waitress, Denise K, was super. My complaint is that they wouldn't let me substitute a cup of soup for fries. Really? Was it really worth it? Probably won't be my first choice in that area. They gave us bread that we didn't eat. I think that cost more than trying to please the customer and repeat business. Both irritating and sad.

The food is great! The crapes are amazing. The burgers are awesome too. Staff is very friendly and very nice. The restaurant is so good that I continue to come here time after time. I normally love this place but just last week I ordered a normal hamburger and an hour after I got home, felt awful. I ended up getting the worst food poisoning to date. I felt weird the minute I walked out of the building. I was sick as a dog. I've had their burgers before too but whatever they did that day gave me food poisoning:/ won't be order the hamburger anymore. Or any type of meat.

I have lived in the New Baltimore / Chesterfield area for a majority of my life, and have frequented Strawberry Fields. Prior to this place opening it had been a hodgepodge of various restaurants that opened and closed quickly. There is a reason why it is still around. The key word CONSISTENCY and QUALITY that is actually the key word for any successful restaurant, most restaurants that lack either end up failing quickly. Not here - never had a bad meal, always consistently good. Can't say anything has blown me away but definitely a good family restaurant .

I visited Strawberry Fields for dinner with my two sisters, as it's a good halfway point between where we're all living. I agree with the reviews that Strawberry Fields has a mom-and-pop vibe - the service was genuine and attentive, and the walls are covered in Beatles signs, posters, artwork, etc. The menu is huge! I wish there were more vegetarian options, but my dish still turned out better than I expected - I ordered the Palomino Spaghetti (half tomato / half alfredo sauce), and it was really tasty. My sisters were very happy with their foods as well. We split a creme brulee for dessert, which came with a side of mixed berries. Overall, everything was well-priced and tasted great, with a bonus of great service. It surpassed my expectations!

After having a couple mediocre meals here I wasn't sure if I would be patronizing this place much. But after I started exploring the menu, I have found that they do quite a few things really well. It's hard to go wrong with their breakfasts, especially omelets, which are far better than most comparably priced places. One of the things that they do surprisingly well is pasta. I'm a nitpicky Italian and I think their sauce is pretty darn good. I just had a turkey meal which was fantastic-- A healthy portion of roast turkey, green beans cooked perfectly, mashed redskins and stuffing (dressing) that was flavored perfectly. The Tuesday night burger special is hard to beat. Aside from basic fish and chips, I would avoid the fish. It is very hit and miss. This restaurant is well staffed and the service has been excellent by and large. Yeah, they have a big menu and you might get a stinker now and then but I have no problem recommending this restaurant. They have gradually earned my trust. It's a nice, locally owned, neighborhood place.

    (4)
  • Ryan P.

The food is decent but the prices are a bit high. However they're French toast is out of this world and they're steak and cheese isn't too bad either. We go here once in a while and sometimes it is crap service and sometimes it is decent. If your a Beatles fan, then this place is for you.

    (3)
  • Ryan A.

I have been here several times and they seem to get it right every time. Fresh homemade food at an affordable price. Service is usually a bit above average as well. Atmosphere is nice as well. Probably a 4.5/5 stars, but Yelp doesn't allow for partial stars. Great choice for breakfast, lunch, or dinner in the area!

    (4)
  • Andrew C.

The place is extremely dirty and the staff is very slow. I have been there twice and had to wait both times to get seated and served. The food is poor quality and makes you wonder about the food safety in the kitchen. I would recommend eating at 7-11 before this place.

I have driven past this restaurant 100's of times. Strawberry Fields was great for breakfast. The pancakes are fluffy and the strawberries taste fresh. Eggs where cooked to order. Over all a good breakfast. It can get crowed at times. table wait was not too bad around 10am.

I got a to-go order recently and found onions in my pancakes. It caught me off guard. It wasn't the sweet pancakes that I was looking forward too. Usually when I go the pancakes are sweet and fluffy, but these pancakes seemed to be flat and salty.

Great food!!! Drove pass this place many times and would have never thought it would have great food. A must try!!! Had chicken scampi, fettuccine alfredo for dessert créme brûlée....the best part they caramelized it right in front of the you!!!

  • Amber K.

We are usually huge fans of strawberry fields but recently got a carry-out order of salads and was not impressed. We asked for all salads to have the dressing on the side. One of the salads it was mixed into and one we never got dressing for! Also the pita bread was gross. Be sure to double check everything they give you!

  • Kathryn G.

Ive been here a couple times and the food is pretty good. The homemade strawberry vinaigrette is really tasty! Last time I was here I ordered the strawberry fields salad. It was super filling and I was very satisfied. My only complaint would be the waitresses. They are very friendly but I feel like they should be more attentive, especially when there are only four tables full in the restaurant.

  • Annie B.

I am currently so stuffed from their huge portions that I find it difficult to write a review. I got the fresh fruit French toast, and yes, the fruit was very fresh. Berries were delicious. The toast itself seemed just like regular French toast....nothing special. Eggs were hearty and filling, bacon a little dry. My husband got the All American and seemed pleased. Even he couldn't finish my leftovers, which says a lot for the portions. Fast service and reasonably priced, I have yet to find a better place for breakfast.

This place is pretty close to my house and my dad loves these typical mom and pop restaurants so I have been here a few times. AMAZING PANCAKES- they have the perfect amount of saltyness when paried with syrup Strawberry soup is quiet fantastic as well! Be sure to check in on facebook/yelp and it will earn you a discount on your bill if you spent $20 or more.

I went to breakfast around 11am on New Year's Day at strawberry fields!! First off they were busy I understand I work in a restaurant my self. I waited roughly 15 mins for a table mind you there were about 5 dirty tables and only one bus boy which took longer just to get sat. We got our booth and ordered our coffees. We had a new waitress she was very nice and doing her best!! I ordered the corned beef hash & eggs with hash browns meal........ I ordered my eggs scrambled soft with feta cheese & onion and they were over cooked and not even scrambled the onion and feta were added on top of my eggs? Not even cooked in?????? Also mind you my corned beef hash wasn't well done but it tasted good!! They don't even have a ketchup bottle on the table??? My whole experience was ruined I waited 15-20mins for my food I had time to smoke a cigarette Waiting for my food!! If my food was made correctly and...... It didn't cost $37.10 for our meal for 3 & a little better service I would go back!

Strawberry Fields is probably my favorite local restaurant in Chesterfield. My fiancée and I eat here pretty regularly because the prices are very reasonable and the food is great, especially if you like breakfast food (and they serve breakfast all day). I almost always order the white chocolate raspberry pancakes whenever I eat there, regardless of what time it is. You get a helping that is plenty big and really good! I like their pancakes better than any other restaurant I've eaten at. I've only had one time where the raspberries were a little small and tart, otherwise they are always big and sweet. And for those who like breakfast AND dessert, try the banana split waffle! For those who prefer dinner food for dinner, their fish and chips are also really good. They have a couple free rewards programs that are awesome too. You can get signed up for the dessert of the month, as well as the birthday club. For the birthday club you get one free entree and I don't believe there is a price limit on that, so you should be able to get anything you want. It's definitely worth checking out!

This is my favorite place to eat in Chesterfield. I go for breakfast every Sunday and for dinner at least once a week. I love their homemade soups. The wait staff is friendly and they bring out my ice tea before I've even been seated. My favorite breakfast dish is the Eggs Florentine and favorite dinner is the Perch. The prices are very reasonable and their Tuesday burger special is a steal. The only thing I haven't cared for so far is the chili.

Excellent service and even better food. They may serve the finest omlete ever made. Try the spinach and feta with a fresh squeezed OJ. Have yet to be disappointed and I eat here all the time.

So here I am again writing about a local establishment. I have been to Strawberry fields, several times since it has opened, and every time I leave stating that I won't be coming back anytime soon. The layout of the restaurant seems all wrong, the tables just feel crowded together. They have tons of Beatles memorabilia/posters, but I find looking at hippies from the 70's tiresome at best. There really is not any music playing, and is nothing remotely close to a Hard Rock. From the bar to the decorations, I feel like I am in someone's basement. It is a family type restaurant, but it does not have the family type prices. Most items are overpriced, for instance the Saganaki "OPA" will run you $6.99. This time I was drawn in by the Friday special 7 Cheese Macaroni. Having a young child at home, I thought that a homemade mac and cheese would show her how Kraft does not meet the cut. Once I saw the sign earlier in the week, I had decided that Friday I was coming. Finally, after watching the Food Network, I was going to experience real Mac and Cheese bliss. Anyways, when it was time to order the waitstaff informed me that they sold out of mac and cheese at LUNCH TIME. yes the sign outside still said "7 cheese mac and cheese Friday". How hard is it to make more, it is 7 pm. He grinned and told me to try the Lobster mac and cheese special (for a whopping $13). I did, because I already promised my young child mac and cheese and it was the only reason I went. The Lobster Mac and cheese made me wish I stayed home and just used Kraft or even Hamburger Helper. To be honest, I am not a lobster eater, and I am judging this solely on the taste of the pasta. I was hoping for big pasta shells but instead got the dumb twisted stick looking things. I did not taste 7 cheeses, and it was not gooey for sure. I suppose the potion size was fine, as it was not good enough to eat as leftovers. Needless to say, this was a complete and utter failure. To those that want to buck the commercial restaurants and hit a local place I would skip over this place. Applebee's and Texas Roadhouse is not that much further down the road, and is a much better value. You can always go to the bar across the street or even a Coney Island. Maybe the breakfast is better, but if I want good breakfast I will drive past this place and go to the Pantry on Hall road.

I find it funny that people complain about the Beatle stuff. The place is the title of a Beatles song! Everything on the menu has a Beatle-esque name to it, and they always have music playing. Gets VERY crowded on the weekends. But I've always loved their food, especially the strawberry almond pancakes. Yum!

This might be my favorite restaurant in New Baltimore, not that there's much to choose from. I love their breakfast dishes, eggs are always cooked just right and portions are big but not obscene. Fish and chips is my favorite for dinner. Oh, and their strawberry lemonade - YUM. The whole place is Beatles themed, including the music rotation. What else do you need to know?

Fantastically fresh, homemade, and awesome. This tiny gem of a restaurant north of Detroit may have a slightly funky Beatles-themes atmosphere, but the food is amazing. Ingredients that are sourced local as often as they can, mixed with real culinary creativeness. I had a plate of hash and eggs, and was blown away. The hash was completely homemade. From the actual corned beef, to the potatoes, everything has been prepared in house, and was well worth the wait. Which was probably the least favorable part of the "Strawberry Fields" experience. Service was slow, and the waitress didn't bother to check in on us, or let us now how much longer we would have to wait, but it was worth it once the food finally came.

Nice place good food GREAT PANCAKES. This is one of those places that has a true master chef who came up with the menu and all the goodies on. If you're a Beatles fan you will get this place.

Hubby and I have eaten here a couple of times and no complaints! Depends on the time of day you go is when you get the quick seating or not! We had good service but the resturant was busy so I didnt expect it to be impeccible by any means! They have a bar so that makes waiting for the food tolerable while you have some wine!

Good food, good prices. I appreciate, the chef will accommodate my food allergies by making alterations.

I love the breakfast here. The waffles are great, and their orange juice is fantastic! My favorite is the cherry pecan waffle. Service is always great for breakfast, though I can't say the same for dinner. I've come in about 4 times for dinner, and the food has always been ok, and the service is slightly lacking. I recommend going for breakfast. Also, there are always coupons in the local magazines. They have a rewards club too where you can get free meals, and a free dessert once a month. If you're local, its worth a try!

The food was OKAY, UNTIL, my wife found used dental floss in her sirloin tip special. The management was not even concerned. On the second and last trip, we sat and waited.... Just so long, and then left, only to return, NEVER-MORE..

Hey I went back for Breakfast and enjoyed their French Toast that everyone seems to rave over my first trip. It was outstanding as is their thick cut bacon. Now that the Christmas season is over they have reverted back to their primary music program. All Beatles, All the time. Considering the name of the place, this should not come as a surprise. Great food, friendly service and the sound track of my life... Can I give this place 10 Stars?

No waffling about those great waffles! One of our favorite local places to eat. Has been a no smoking place for a while which is great to eat and not stink! I've never had anything I didn't like. Tuesday hamburger and fries for $3.99 is always a hit and I wasn't kidding about the waffles....we get them for dinner when the craving hits. The only thing that could make it better would be good slushy strawberry daiquiris! They do have a liquor license, but the liquor is an afterthought.....
