Our waitress was excellent, always checking on us to see if we needed anything else. food was cooked just fine, no problems!

Arrived in a Saturday nite, place pretty filled, but was seated quickly by a family where parents shouldn't had kids....totally out of control. Our entree was cooked well outside of the cold carrots. Would of had them returned but that would of required having our waitress return before desert. With so much compitition, this store is usually good, but today was an off day. The hostess seated people at a table with trash all over the floor, I was surprised the patrons accepted these conditions by kicking debris out of the way. We brought this to her attention but I guess concern was not part of her personality. Management is the next at fault, but that also would of meant needing concern. Moral to this story.... avoid this place on a Saturday nite!

Been to a retirement home? No? Well you have if you've been to Bob Evans. The food tastes like it's made for that crowd as well -- a lot of bland and mostly seasoned with nothing other than salt food. Bob Evans has steadily gotten worse of the years, it seems... it's edible, but why eat here with so many other great restaurants around with fewer elderly people? ...Okay, I don't have anything against old folks, but when I'm the only customer under 68 in the place, I get a lot of, "You're not one of us... get out." looks. Two stars mostly just because I enjoy their pumpkin bread... that stuff's a treat.

I haven't between in a Bob Evans in at least 10 years. There's a reason for that, so today when my group chose it I was thinking it would be a hot mess. There were 6 of us an a baby. They pushed a 4 seater table next to a booth, and added a highchair. Weird set up. Totally in the way if other diners. Not our problem though. Our waitress was on autopilot, took our drink orders, came back 5 min later and we ordered. All of us had different items. Some lunch some breakfast. Food came out 10 min later. Everything was decent. Not a complaint from anyone. Waitress came by a ton of times and everyone was happy. Overall, not a bad experience. I'm super surprised. I won't choose to come here, but at least I know if I was with a group again that wanted to come here, I know items I can get that will be yummy.

BOB EVANS IS DEAD. Bob Evans actually served some decent food in the late 70's through the 80's. Hot homemade biscuits covered in butter and honey, chunky chicken noodle soups, crisp salads etc. The place had a homey feel and the food had a homemade quality to it....but alas those days are gone. Like the Dodo bird and pay phones. Somewhere down the line some corporate figure-head made a decision to save $$$ and the whole homey thing became like a homogenized plastic smile and the food turned premade and reheated. How can they serve dreck like this? It's bad enough my biscuits were made several states away but they can't even reheat them properly. Ever have a biscuit that was like toast. Crunchy and falling apart upon biting into it? Coffee served cold in a personal pot? Lukewarm watery oatmeal at $4 a bowl! Pancakes that tasted like Motel 6 waffle batter? We'll I did. And best of all, the prices are high! Way too high! You pay a premium to eat at Bob Evans but the actual delivery of the goods is tremendously underwhelming. Skip, skip, skip this chain and this location! Keep driving. Find a Ma and Pa Diner that serves breakfast specials at half the price and twice the quality. The Chesterfield area is full of them. Matter of fact, the Wal-Mart popcorn stand directly behind this location has better food.

I ordered a French Silk pie. They overcharged me by $2 and there was waaaay too much whipped cream and not enough flavor. Very disappointing.

As Avis said on Master Chef, this place makes your tongue wanna slap ya brain! We went here every morning while on vacation for my cousin's wedding. I almost always go to Bob Evan's for breakfast if there is one where we are on vacation. The food is so good and tastes so fresh. I'm not a big breakfast fan normally, but can't resist when you're talking about a Bob Evan's breakfast. I had bisquits and gravy EVERY morning. I can just hear my arteries crying for air!!!

Took a few minutes before anyone acknowledged us when we walked in. Food was terrible but service was even worse!!!!! Our server wrote our order down but still had to come back and ask who ordered what. My boyfriend's soup came out cold and when they reheated it in the microwave, the top was burned but he didn't complain. She didn't bother to come back to see if we needed refills on our pops cuz she and every other server there were too busy talking to each other. Finally 10 min after we were done with our food, we decided to walk up the chatty servers and ask for our bill. I probably should also mention that the place was dead! If I wasn't a server myself, I would've left her a $0 tip but was still nice enough to leave her 15% which I regret doing now because I bust my butt for my tips whereas she was nothing but a lazy b!!!!

Went here as Dad chose it for his 74th Birthday Breakfast. Its just okay, & VERY PRICEY for the average, warm food they serve $19 for breakfast for 2 & I only had the 1 Egg , & 2 sausages & Biscuit... On a High Note, the coffee & the pot of coffee on each table was good

Been here 4 nights in a row since hotel is within walking distance. Great food. But do they ever give good service? they are clearly hiring.

Delicious food but horrible and I mean horrible carryout service! It is disappointing too because the food is so good. First time we ordered from here our entire order was incorrect and we had to wait for them to correct it while they argued with us. By the time we got the food home it was ice cold. The lady on the phone sounded like she had no clue what was included with each entree. She said some meals didn't come with foods that they clearly did come with. We wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and order again, so we did. Once again they completely messed up our order and once again we left angry and disappointed. This place could be great if it was ran with better management and better employees.

New, fuller-bodied coffee was getting compliments all around. Strawberry bread was GREAT! Fruit bowl was a little disappointing: grapes, melon, pineapple, all fresh, but not colorful or what I would expect here, you know, "down on the farm...." Sausage was still gray and not warm but quickly replaced. Omelet was cold; server heated and had it back in a jiffy. She was FABULOUS and made up for the kitchen. Had to ask for comment card to let someone know and had to wait for cashier to ask manager for a card. Wouldn't you think the cards would be on the tables or at the cashier? Shift manager said they are no longer available without asking in order to prevent "all the clutter". I was embarrassed to have to ask, but by then was thinking maybe they don't want corporate to know. My comment card went in shift manager's pocket along with the stub I was to tear and keep. She rewarded me with FREE loaf of strawberry bread to take home.

This place is awesome. My parents go here a few times a week. Every employee knows them by name. They have the coffee ready for my dad as he sits down. My mom spent about a month in the hospital and a rehab center. They wanted to send her a meal to the facility. When she got out of rehab center they gave my mom a free meal. So nice. Food is also yummy.
