Good diner to eat at. Has been there since I was a kid and for good reason. Soup and salad is always a winner.

Love coming here every time I visit my parents in Eaton Rapids. Breakfast is always good and we always have a super nice waitress. This is a diner folks- there's no bells and whistles. You have diner food and a diner atmosphere. The pies are very good though! Might not be gourmet cooking, but for a homey feel and a good breakfast it's the place to go.

A few years ago, I decided to try their oliveburger (I get black instead of green). It is SOO good...I've never seen an oliveburger that can compare! (Though Rip's in Vermontville has come close.) Nice, handcrafted patty (today's was quite chunky), olives swimming in mayo and lettuce and a lightly toasted bun. YUM! I always get it with chips, but I think you can get it with fries for an upcharge. If you're the sort that can eat all that and have dessert, too, I recommend their homemade pies. Excellent, all the way!

Nothing says "good morning" like a waitress saying "what do you want?" Before even greeting us! This family needs to get back into appreciating their customers. Seems to be an overall attitude problem. Was hoping to see improvements!

Service was slow & marginal, as was the food . Food residue on seat, lipstick on cup-no apology from waitress. We will not return.

I'm amazed at the reviews. I tried the dinner buffet with my girlfriend, we both left disappointed in the quality of the food. The food reminded me of hospital cafeteria food, only the salad, the mashed potatoes, and green beans were edible in my opinion. I'd like to think we would have been better ordering off the menu, although the endless choices makes me think not. We ended up stopping at Arby's for market fresh sandwiches before getting back on the expressway.

Ate here once while visiting Lansing. Best blueberry pie I've ever had!

The quality of the food was as good as most restaurants. I was a little disappointed when I ordered breakfast, I asked, instead of potatoes, could I get fruit. The waitress replied yes. When I received my check, I was billed for the fruit, and nothing was taken off for the potatoes. The waitress then said that management said she couldn't substitute the fruit for the potatoes. I would have to remember that next time. I don't think there will be a next time.

Visited many times. Quality: The food can vary depending on what you get, breakfast rocks, any of their skillets are great, lunch and dinner also. I would avoid if your looking for health food though. Staff: The staff is always cool, they treat you like family. Cost: Always a good deal, lots of great food for low prices.

If you want great food in Charlotte, this is the [place to go. My wife would hurt me if we were close and didn't stop.

Instead of all the silly fast food chains, this grille is a delight. A good place for burger and french fry people. Would go again next time I'm in town.

Not a bad place for drinks, lunch or dinner! There staff is generally friendly but sometimes slow. The food ranges between greasy and nasty to perfect and delicious. If they were more consistent in their quality and service I would rate them at least four stars.

This is a great little family restaurant in Charlotte, MI. If you're riding along I-69 on a road trip, this is worth the diversion. They have a huge stuffed bear in the dining room. Isn't that enough to get you to go? Okay, so the food is very respectable for this sort of place. Breakfast was tasty, husband's fish & chips got a thumbs up, as well. It's a diner. A damn fine one at that. Also, it's called "Eaton Place"--The Place to Eat in Eaton County. And that's just cute.

A great diner; with an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet on the weekends (with an omelet station!). Best food in the city, and the owners are great!
