    Last week I attended an AM work meeting where Tim Horton's was served. The refreshments were limited to bagels, donuts, muffins and coffee. The bagels looked ordinary and unappealing. The muffins were gigantic, packed full of fruit and calories. No doubt. But over by the donuts I heard my name being called. I gave into the Sour Cream Chocolate Glazed Cake. Turned out to be a good choice. Slightly crispy on the outside, non greasy and very chocolatey. The four star of this review is the coffee. It was strong with a bold and robust flavour. I liked it so much I stopped into this location to pickup a package of fresh ground to be able to make some at home. There are many other options on the menu. Espresso, lattes, breakfast sandwichs, wraps and paninis. The staff was fast, friendly and helpful. I'll be back.

    Date/Time of incident: Mon Mar 23 2015 at 19:40 hrs. Venue: Tim Horton's Drive thru at Tim Horton's Restaurant #9376 45515 Michigan Ave, Canton MI Before I write this review in Yelp, I just want to be known, I do not wish to get this boy/individual fired. However management at this Tim Horton's or even corporate needs to address this situation and re-train this individual and or other individual involved so incidents like this can be avoided in the future. We have been Tim Horton's customers for the past 5 years, normally frequenting the Tim Horton's in Belleville on Belleville Road , and until this evening have never encountered this type of attitude from an employee of Tim Horton's. Mistakes do happen. But to tell a customer, "No you said this exactly, so you got that......." If Tim Horton's would like to check their past receipts against my credit card they would find since Feb of 2011 when and if I/we show up at Tim Horton's (Nearly every other evening sometimes even late nights, we ask for only two types of drinks. One being an English toffee cappuccino for my wife, and one mostly the large green tea with 2 splendas (since I am diabetic and cannot have sugar) so why did I supposedly request a sweet iced tea instead? And when at the payment window trying to explain that same issue, I was quite rudely accused by the young boy at the drive thru window that is not what I wanted and I had asked for a sweet iced tea instead. The young lady with him, sorry did not catch her name, may have been the manager on duty or may have been another employee, came to the window as well asked what I had wanted and ran back in and proceeded to make me that drink, however there was no apology from anyone. I even offered to pay for the difference if any , and tried handing my card card to the boy at the drive thru which he did not take instead handed me the green tea with 2 splendas and gruffly closed the drive thru window. They have had enough of us in the silver car. Next please!! My wife wanted to resolve the situation, and requested me to pull over so she can go talk to the person, she went in and asked his name, came to know his name was "Joshua". My wife after all is in management herself, she would know how to handle the situation. She wanted to go in and tell Joshua, this is not how one deals with a customer, instead Joshua did not seem to care. As per him, he heard correctly and I was wrong, and as per him, I had an attitude. My wife told him then, being in customer service his attitude should be polite towards the customer, to which he seemed to have a " I do not care attitude", there was no apology then too. It was then, she told that she would report that to corporate. She was there talking to him, but no manager on duty came to resolve the issue. My only concern is, no one wants to get an attitude over a cup of coffee. I would never visit there again, we would go to Belleville or Rawsonville instead, where customer service is 100% better. We asked for 10 pieces of Chocolate timbits, which at 7:40 in the evening they had only 5 pieces, so we asked them to mix & match. We asked for a cheese Croissant, which they did not have too ! my wife asked what kind did they have left, to which the personnel replied, " butter Croissants", so she asked them to pack it. It seemed as if we were a pain asking them stuff! Atleast we were made to feel that way! When they are at the drive thru window or taking a customer's order request at the front desk, they are your front-line image. And this type of attitude towards a customer whoever he or she is, will help you lose business than gaining it. As of now, we are done! Never going back to this location again. Do not want a discount do not want "Joshua" to lose his job, but yes, do want him to be retrained the right way so his next customer does not feel like they are being racially discriminated against. Mistakes happen, if you did make a mistake, it does not make you small to apologize to your customer, in fact it shows your patience and your heart to serve a customer. This incident would have never bothered us, if we would not have been accused that we placed a wrong order. Infact, atleast 3 times in a week we visit the Belleville Tim Hortons to have a cup of Cappuccino (English Toffee) & Green tea with Splenda! Good customer service can make you feel great, and one bad attitude spoils your entire evening. We do not deserve to be mistreated just to buy a cup of coffee or tea. We are even beginning to feel this is racial, for being Asian-Americans maybe this attitude was directed to us specially as such! We do not want a discount, neither a free cup of coffee, but Tim Hortons as a brand, is our favorite, we do not want customers to be mistreated in future. So, kindly, retrain the personal in this location, so that no one feels the way, we felt! ***A copy of this letter has also been sent to Tim Horton's Corporate website as of 3/24/2015 at 01:10 hrs.***

    Coffee was a little burnt, but still good. I like this place because of how strong their coffee is compared to most other coffee shops. Prices are very reasonable for the volume you receive. One thing that irritates me is that they have two registers with two separate lines rather than one line feeding into the two registers. So typically you are rolling the dice on how long it takes to get serviced. For example, I ended up in the line behind the lady who wanted to cause a stink because she didn't get her mocha for the price of a hot chocolate... While the other line was patrons who all arrived far after me, received their orders, and then left before I even made it to the counter...

    It's not the closest Timmy's to me, but I will often go out of my way to go here. There's only one thing that makes this store more special than any of the other Tim Horton's around me -- they use crushed ice instead of ice cubes in their cold drinks. I'm kinda crazy in that I drink iced coffee all year round. It can be 10F outside and I want my coffee iced. There's something about crushed ice -- it seems to keep the drink colder, longer. It seems to somehow dissolve as quick as cubes, thereby not diluting the coffee as quickly. Or perhaps I'm just insane. (or perhaps there's no perhaps about it.) Like the closer Timmy's the service is friendly, the food is good, and they almost never mess up my order. Also, giant thumbs up to Tim Horton's Corporate for the espresso shot thing (you can get add a shot of espresso into any drink for a small charge). I've been able to get that when I'm in Columbus for nearly a year, so glad it's available here, too. Now I can always get nice cold coffee AND get completely wired!
