I almost died today. Hyperventilated probably, or else just went into a panic. All over "blazin" buffalo wings. Don't laugh. I entered Buffalo Wing Bar and Grill in Canton, just outside of Detroit, off the 96, for a late lunch, Not wanting more fast food during my week-long workl trip through the South and Midwest, I breezed by the Arby's, Hardee's, BKs off the interstate --though across the street, the oddly paired Church's Fried Chicken/White Castle burgers intrigued. (Can we put a moratorium on these pairings, please? I'd rather not have a KFC wing ding meal and a side of Taco Bell chalupas!) So I found the Buffalo Bar and Grill, a spiffy and spacious place that looked more sports bar-ish (huge TV screens) than the typical bland Applebee's: this was a sit down place. I had a hankering for wings somehow and hadn't had some since I was in New York a few weeks back at RUB. The waitress brought the menu and found that, naturally, this place was going to specialize in buffalo wings and there were at least a dozen different wing sauces that you could choose from. I ordered a few wings as an appetizer, plus a Pepper Jack burger, and some sour cream and onion fried potato wedges. The server asked me what kind of sauce I wanted on my wings. I chose the top, or hottest one, called "Blazin'". "Are you sure?", was her reply, which I took to mean that she was probably making fun of me or challenging me. I thought certainly this couldn't be that bad. This looked like a chain restaurant, a decent establishment that had even packaged their own wing sauces. It couldn't kill me. I persisted: yes, I would have the blazin' sauce. The burger was just fine, perhaps a bit dry and overcooked. (The menu promised that it would be medium-well, but it looked pretty black to me.) I added my own mayo and mustard to the burger, which had the pepper jack cheese, tomato and chopped iceberg on its soft buns. The fries were pleasantly seasoned and had a definite sour cream and onion flavor. They were cut wedge-like and reminded me of the fries at Fuddrucker's. In between bites of the burger, I was also noshing on the perfectly cooked and marinated buffalo wings, a small pool of ranch dressing served on the side. It wasn't until the second wing that the definite afterburn in the mouth jolted me. Took plenty sips of my lemonade to make things better because I was really taken aback by the fire. The irony, though, and this may be familiar to those who like spicy food: you want more and more because the fire in your mouth, while painful, does not prevent you from enjoying the taste and texture. Overdo it and you're in trouble. I mean, you could literally stop breathing. And pushed even further, this might have befallen me. Imagine my own last headline: California man found dead after suffering respiratory distress; "blazin' wing sauce, found on corners of mouth and fingertips, to blame" These were, in short, some of the best wings I had ever had, in taste: definite notes of vinegar, habanero (world's hottest) peppes, smoky flavor in general and really meaty, substantial wings and drumettes. Dipped in the ranch dressing --if only to momentarily drench the fire only a little bit--these were amazing wings and well worth the drive if you're in the Detroit or Ann Arbor region. Oh yeah. and when I was paying, leaving in a rush as I did, I actually had to run back to my table and drink some more lemonade and chew ice to assuage my burning mouth. When the server had to go out and find my bill, making me wait several minutes, I sneaked over and refilled my lemonade at the Coke fountain and kept chugging. And would you believe I bought a bottle of that blazin' sucker sauce? Of course. No one would believe me so I need to put something through this all over again, And watch them squirm. Prices were reasonable: 4.95 for 6 wings. $5.95 for the burger, $2.25 for the regular order of fries. And finally, sweet relief is only a few steps away. If your mouth is still reeling from the unbelievable wings at Buffalo Wing, then Carvel's Ice Cream is right next door. One scoop of their creamy ice cream (tried the Gone Bananas Crunch) will cure your tongue/mouth/head/brain instantly.

Went on a Friday night and it was busy. After being seated it took 21 minutes for a server to come to our table for the first time, We were all ready to order so we did drinks and dinner at the same time. The drink came around 5 minutes later. Our wings arrived 42 minutes later!! We were timing after the first wait. I can`t blame the server because it appeared she had way too many tables to keep tabs on customers. About 30 minutes after we ordered the people I was with just wanted to go next door to Panera.

Your customers are inconciderate jerks. Your customers have taken all the assigned and clearly marked parking spaces for your neighboring business which is costing them sales. My family and.i attempted to get icecream but we were thwarted by your customer's selfishness.

I love this place, traditional wings are the way to go. If you want the hottest, go for mango habanero, wow! If you can eat these, blazin is no problem. Service is usually pretty good here at the canton location.

I have been to many buffalo wild wings across the nation and this location by far is the least organized and poorly run location. You have wait to be seated at tye bar and we came on a Saturday night and noticed roughly 8 tables that were unoccupied and uncleaned. It took over 35 minutes for the staff to clean a table for us and nobody was on the wairing list in front of us. Our sever came about 25 minutes later and then we saw her 1 hour later.... I will never return to this location again. The "game changer" beer is phenomenal and unfortunately we were so disappointed in the staff and management that we went across the street to enjoy a drink and some food at Tilted Kilt. After reading prior reviews I have noticed a trend in the long wait times and poorly run management of this particular location. I would not recommend this location to anyone!

My husband and I stopped in as we had never been to Canton's Buffalo Wild Wings. Overall, we had a great time. Food was really good. My husband had a fried chicken sandwich. He liked that he got to pick whatever he wanted on it (which consisted of just lettuce and ranch). I got a fried chicken wrap. I enjoyed it and liked how it came with the medium sauce (I could have gotten another sauce, if I wanted). The medium was perfect for me. Not too hot. Not bland. I had the option of french fries or chips and salsa. I selected the salsa. It was very good. Not too spicy. We were entertained by all the TVs and I downloaded the trivia app to my phone so I could play along. I will be sure to use it every time I am at a bdubs. Service was great. Prices are reasonable. I will be sure to visit again!

Food is great most staff are on point. Prices are reasonable. Chicken wings could be much better. Tho the sauces are good. Not made fresh by the company but still good. Drinks are over priced.

Worst experience I've had in a long time. Over an hour wait for a party of 4. Then told by the hostess that there was a spot available but only for 3 and 1 had to stand. If I didn't want that they would pass us up. Love the wings but not the service.

There is nothing bad I can say about this place. I have been to many locations and it is always good. Love me some Blazing traditional wings!

I only come here for their chicken wings, and only when I don't have better options. That isn't saying I don't like BW3 because I do, but I won't go out of my way to come here. I typically get the Spicy Garlic or Wild sauced wings, and love love love the Parmesan Garlic sauce. My big complaint is the size of the wings (pretty tiny), and the random chicken part that comes in your order every now and then. I'll be back, but only if I don't have a better option.

Let me preface this review with the fact that I have been a BWW loyalist for years now. I like B-Dubs. Some people hate it and I understand why. You feel like you're supporting "The Man" of sports bars when you're here. I get it. That being said, I've frequented this location for quite some time now. The staff is always very friendly and they're genuinely nice people. The place is rarely over-crowded, so you can pretty much bank on getting a seat here without too much trouble most of the time. I've long been a fan of the "wet" sauces, but recently tried one of their dry rubs - the Desert Heat. I have not gone back (about 10 times now) without ordering it. It's officially in the rotation. My personal favorites in no particular order are Spicy Garlic, Asian Zing, and Mango Habanero...along with the Desert Heat. The Mango Habanero and Asian Zing are sort of similar, so I would say to avoid ordering them on the same day - and since someone pointed out that the Mango Habanero has a "plastic-y" taste, I haven't really been ordering it. I used to love it though. They recently changed over their wings to a larger size - and they are noticeably larger/meatier wings. They are also pricier though as well. If I had one complaint about the place, it's that I can't walk out without spending less than $20 on myself. With a couple beers under my belt, it can cost about $30 with tip. I still manage to find a way to budget it in though.

Well, I luv BW's but not every location is great, especially for carry out. If you go here sit down, b/c for the carry out service they actually have to go out and kill the chickens so expect to wait. First the phone, then to pay the check then to get ur food.

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat and to catch a glimpse of the Lions game in between shopping. Unfortunately for us our server Katy was having a Scrooge moment. Katie ba came unnecessarily upset with us bc SHE brought out fries instead of the onion rings we ordered. Then we asked for extra queso for the ultimate nachos that were basically naked. She was so obviously frustrated that the manager Brian brought the queso. Brian was pleasant and apologized for the issue. After we received what we needed to make our order correct the food was good especially the queso. I hope Katie has a better day tomorrow.

The only reason that I rate them 3 stars is because of management. It seems like a cluster f##k everytime I come in there (which is every week) and when you deal with management they are useless. They are running it into the ground. The wait staff is good but could be excellent under better management. Again the food is good and the wait staff too. Just so you don't think I'm a irate customer... Example we were waiting for a good 20 minutes for someone to ask us for anything and when the manager came over he asked ... Did you make eye contact with your waitress? Lol. I am a manager and am observant of other managers and hope that these ones get some training.

Great staff and excellent food. I had the boneless wings and my fiancée had the traditional wings; both were amazing. The manager (Mike T) at this location is very considerate and attentive, and makes sure you have everything you need. Staff was very polite and made great suggestions. If you're looking for good food, at decent prices with great staff this is the place!

I've been to this location a few times over the two years I've lived in the area and every time it's a disappointment. So finally I can write a good review since I just went this evening. It took 25 minutes to get seated after we were told 15. We looked at the menu while we waited and ordered immediately. My initial impression? The menu and table were covered in a sticky layer - thank God for the provided wet naps. It still took 35 minutes to get our food.. They aren't that busy making food in the kitchen to where it should take that long - most of the food is fried which equals little prep time. There was empty tables around and we still got the "we're very busy" line. By the time the food did come I thought it would be piping hot and delicious. Nope. The fries were stale, the burger overdone, & the wings were lacking sauce. At least she kept my drink full.

If you have been to one Buffalo Wild Wings, you have been to most of them. I prefer the layout to this place over several others I have been to. The bar is a little bit separated from the rest of the place. Its nice and open so its easy to see TVs. If you are looking for a little different vibe they just added a nice "outdoor" area, with a separate bar. Its a little hard to see the TVs in this new area, but its also not as dark here. The food is good. If you like wings, try them here. If you like beer, they have that. This is the type of place we like to stop at to watch a game when we don't want to think too much about the location. its ole reliable, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Once again doing carry out and this time I was told 20-25 minutes and we are at the 30 minute mark and still no food. I used to eat here every Wednesday and about 6 months ago I stopped that because service was terrible. Well I guess it's time to find a different place for carry out. 35 minutes and counting ......

    (1)
  • Jamie L.

It's a hit or miss with this one. I have eaten here when it was extremely clean and then other times there is crumbs and food still on the table with not so friendly staff. The carryout food is not the best, it's always cold when I pick it up at the time they tell me to.

If there's a Tigs game on and I feel like watching the game and hang out with buds, I don't invite them to my house, I don't like any dudes at my house, only chicks, but when I do wanna see a game with the guys, This B Dubs is the perfect place. It's a little pricy sometimes, but eh....it's worth it. The TVs, sweet Jesus you gotta love their TV's, they are big and plentiful. If I see an annoying commercial on, I could just turn my head and see some ESPN news until them Tigs come back on. Things I like 1) Lots of TV 2) nice workers 3) they never screw my order up 4) Extra Big Ass Beers (served Cold) 5) Mini Corn Dogs 6) Wings Tuesday 7) Spicy Garlic Sauce, Hot, and Hot BBQ Sauces. Yes! YES! YES! 8) Wrap Sandwiches - I love them 9) They have the claw game 10) Breaded Mushrooms with Ranch! Things I dislike 1) Tigers lost the game when I was here. hissssss

The food is always good. Our service today was not good but it typically is better at this location. The menu has good choices. The atmosphere is a little loud but great for groups if you want to watch a game

My absolute favorite place to go with the guys for a good time and some great wings! Sauces are amazing. The wings are always tender and sauced to perfection! I love the combination of 9 honey BBQ and 9 Asian zing with a side of ranch. If you haven't been here before definitely check it out.

I'm not some one who sends food back. If the order isn't right, I just deal with it. I ordered a salad with chicken minus the crutons because I have celiac and cannot ingest gluten/wheat. I watched the waitress write it down AND circle it, the food came out, my salad loaded with crutons. Normally I would just pick the few off and go eat it anyways. Not only did it have a ton on it, but it looked like they sprinkled the salad with bread they blew through a food processor. I asked if she could take it back because I could not eat it. She said, and I quote: "I will have them make you a brand new one quick for you." She brought it back 5 seconds later. I grabbed my knife and fork to start cutting the chicken and noticed a few crutons. I then started looking and saw all they did was just pick off the large pieces. She came back, and I showed her all the crutons and dusting of it all over my salad. Now, I have worked customer service for over ten years and understand what happened in the back room. She looks at me with a oh shoot you caught us and goes, "I didn't know they did that. I wasn't even back there." I told her I couldn't eat it, Who ever "made me a new one" just picked off the big pieces. I told her I would get very sick and I asked for it to be taken off my bill. They did, but I'm disgusted at the laziness and the unbelievable attempt to pass off food that will knowingly make some one sick. Makes me wonder what else they don't take serious. I will never go back, and I will tell everyone who has any food allergies to not eat there because they do not think it is serious. Unreal.

Ok...so my daughter and her boyfriend told me /us that they just get some of the boneless BBQ wings "to go" with some Ranch dressing to dip and they take it back to her apartment and enjoy it as a small meal/snack while watching the tube. I had tried the one in Novi, MI a few years ago and wasn't impressed, but they have been around a lot longer now and I figured it was time to give them another chance. Besides, they have the boneless wings now and not just those kid with nothing on the bone except a tiny bite or two. We walked in and went to the "take out" counter to order. The place was pretty empty and there were two, if not more, young people at "take out" just standing around and talking with each other. They totally ignored us for ...oh.....ummm.....let's say about 10-15 minutes total!! Yes, it's true, can you believe that ? We tried to get their attention but they were too busy talking about what they were "gonna do" over the weekend. We almost left, but we really were in the mood to try this place and we wanted some of the boneless wings. So....finally someone decided to take our order and it was something around almost $4.00 for what they call a "large fries"!!!??? I questioned the young man before we left, to make sure that's what we got and he took a double look and told me that it was in fact the large "to go" fries! So....we took everything and went home. I just have to say that I was not impressed with the staff, the atmosphere or the food. I would say, the food least of all. It was something you might taste if you got some wings out of your freezer section from the grocery store! They were not very warm or not hot at all, as far as temperature goes. We had to even stick them in our microwave for a few seconds, before we could eat them. This place will not get our money or attention again. Sorry, I know or knew not to expect too much. I knew it was just a "to go" wings sort of place but please...they could do better, much better! Hot food would be a nice place to start. Employees that don't stand around and talk to each other and ignore the customers would be nice also.

Food's okay, drinks are good, service is attentive and quick. They have NTN and that's the biggest draw for me!

OK, it's a chain and I feel guilty for even reviewing it. That being said... I went in with a friend and got an order of a dozen boneless in classic buffalo with fries. She ordered the mango habanero boneless which was a bit sweet for my taste personally (they were pretty warm though!). The "wings" came and they were good, if not a bit too on the vinegar tasting side. I ate about half and saved the rest for leftovers later. The fries were pretty basic, nothing noteworthy. Service was OK, but not outstanding. There was a State game wrapping up and it was extremely loud, but that's understandable. Major turn offs for me were the fact that you had to pay for blue cheese or ranch dressing, and even for celery! Are you kidding me??? The cost of the wings & drinks don't cover that? Two days later I went to another chain nearby "in the neighborhood" if you get my drift, and I got an order of boneless wings and a side of fries for substantially less, and guess what? FREE dressing & celery. Imagine that! From now on, I'll take advantage of the wings elsewhere I do believe.

I don't usually review chains but this location treated our party of 12 really well tonight. Our waitress was attentive, and quick, even with a packed restaurant and our big crowd. She recommended a great local IPA I was unfamiliar with which I am grateful for. And the wings, while ordinary, were fresh, hot , and tasty. A great night out with the gang

First time tried this place and was not impressed at all. The atmosphore is okay for a sports bar, I do not like it as I think it was way too loud, and the service was slow, but for someone who likes to watch sports - go for it. We were hoping for really juicy ribs and fries, ordered full rack for aboout $16 that comes with salad and fries. The waitress said they have 3 types of sauces, so we chose two (half half) and she said it is possible to do that way. We waited very long time for our food - when it finally arrived it was almost cold and the sauce was only one, not two as the waitress promised. There was also no side plate for bones, we had to use table and napkin. Yuck. Anyways, the ribs were not that juicy and soft as expected. Fries were only few, there was not enough for the size of ribs. Anothre minus - they do not have regular plates, they use some paper plates that are so uncomfortable, in the shape as soup bowls. Will not return.

I have been a huge fan of Buffalo Wild Wings for years. Since there are no locations nearby, I actively seek them out when on the road. (On this particular adventure I was making a secret-squirrel trip down Ford Road through Canton trying to escape the Michigan-Ohio State crowd. And then I saw the sign...) Sadly, my love for their food is a double-edged sword. (Triple-edged if you look at my gut.) Almost every BW3 dining experience suffers from some major flaw. The wings will be overcooked. Or undersauced. Mozzarella sticks will still be hard in the middle, or just downright empty tubes because all the cheese melted out. Not at this location! Absolutely every aspect of the meal, from being greeted at the door through service and quality of the food was on point. Our server was Hillary and she had obviously mastered the art of being both welcoming and businesslike in the packed environment of 630 PM on a football Saturday. She provided attentive service, faster than fast delivery, and a smile throughout. If I was the CEO of Buffalo Wild Wings I would put Hillary on the corporate training staff at a high 5 figure salary pronto. The food was impeccable. Perfect apps, perfect wings. That's all I ask for. Do what you advertise and do it right. THIS Buffalo Wild Wings does it RIGHT. I left Hillary with a 50% tip. Her and the entire staff that evening earned it.

I love Buffalo Wild Wings food. Unfortunately, I've had some pretty big disappointments at some locations. Which is why I was so happy when this location went over my order with me when I picked up my takeout the first time I went there. Other locations have caught on since then, but this was the first one that did that for me. When I lived in Westland, I would drive a little farther to go to this location instead.

I may be different than most but I don't think that $5 for 6 scrawny tiny wings is a good value. Their wings are not all that great, the sauces are very good. Their beer prices have gone up in recent years and the frequency of my visits have gone down also. My problem is that I don't drink the macro brewery beer specials.

I just don't know what to say about this place. It is hit or miss. After my last posting, it took me awhile to send a note to BWW management about the specific incidence.... But I missed my food and wanted to make management aware of what happened to us. My husband and I were contacted almost immediately with a small compensation; we figured we would give it another try. I did miss the mango habanero sauce and buzztime trivia. It was a Thursday night- date night- and we were greeted by Sheri... a bubbly, wonderful waitress. She took good care of us and we had a wonderful evening! Food was good (WARM!), beer was good, all was well. We decided we could start coming back. The following week, we had an impromptu get together at our house and someone mentioned a BWW craving, so we all packed in the car and went back BWW. We were immediately seated, not bad for 5 people on a Saturday night and beer orders were taken. Unfortunately, our waitress got 2 of the four beers wrong (at least it wasn't just us this time!)... they told her about the mistake but drank them anyway. We ordered the garlic mushrooms which were pretty yummy considering I don't like mushrooms... It came time for our orders, she wrote them all down- and I repeated my husband's order 3 times.... No surprise- my order and my husband's orders were wrong. My buffalito came out with sour cream (albeit my request for no sour cream) and with the wrong sauce (and no little stickers to tell us which sauce it was), my husbands had the same issue.... We asked her if it was maybe a mistake and someone brought the wrong order.... No, she assured us they were ours... I figured it would take too long to get something new made up, so I took off the sour cream and sucked it up. My husband absolutely did want to eat the wrong sauce and sour cream, he asked for a new one- a grilled buffalito without sour cream and Asian zing sauce. The replacement came out pretty quickly but it was wrong again. BWW how is that you mess up a replacement order.... Sigh. I can say I probably be back but I should probably just stick to the wings because it is impossible to get anything else correct here. Thinking back, out of the last 4 times we have been there our orders have been messed up 50% of the time... come on....

$0.50 boneless wing Thursdays can't be beat! Staff is friendly, the rest is pretty much standard for any BWW. Beats the pants off Hooters any day.

Good wings with Great sauce. Nice to watch the NCAA playoffs with all the TVs they have. They also have very good salads.

Great sauces over small party wings. I guess this is the trend because they are racking in the cash! Over a dollar a wing if my memory serves me. I love all the TV's to watch every game. Go Green!

This weekend I discovered a magical wing at BWW that is SO good that just writing about it makes me drool....the Mango Habanero! It is just an awesome flavor - first your tastebuds are hit with the sweetness, then an aftershock of heat, which is just hot enough (not too hot). It's pretty close to a perfect wing.

    (5)
  • Nick P.

Asian zing need I say more!!! This is my favorite things and we tend to come here a few times a month. I don't like that they always charge for ranch. Other than that its really good food in the wings category.

  • Brittney T.

Every time I come here I make sure to get the Parmesan garlic because it's so delicious. However, there have been times that they put too much on and it just tastes bad. Even still, I always come back. My main annoyance about bww is how loud it is, even when there aren't any games on they have the music cranked up so loud you're screaming to your friend from across the table. All that being said, it's a great place to enjoy a few beers, watch a game, and hang with friends.

My husband and I went to Buffalo Wild Wings this past Thursday for the $0.60 Wings and Drinks. Our waitresses name was Hilary! Great Service, Great drink suggestions and incredibly delicious WINGS!!

    (5)
  • Andrew S.

Wings are excellent, but a little pricey. They have weekly specials for them, but they are still expensive. A special is supposed to be like 25 cent wings not $2.50 wings. (not literally) Pretty good place to watch a game, but too big and too many bandwagon jackasses cheering stupid crap. Overall, worth it as there aren't many places around for a good wing.
