Me and my sisters had lunch here since it was pretty close to her house and the food was amazing. We started with appetizers, which we all shared. We had the cornbeef egg rolls, which i think is the best i ever had, steamed mussels and chicken nachos. I ended up ordering the Cajun shrimp pasta and it was great, there was a good potion of shrimp and they use on it was really good. Our waitress Katrice was so nice and on top of everything, i would definitely recommend them for a good place to eat.

It's an alright place... I would say it was more mid-aged people there -- unfortunately I don't fit that category yet. I went right after work around 5:30pm to redeem a Groupon off. There was a new waitress on shift and they only had done the Groupon deal only a few times. They were unsure how it would work or if I needed to buy a drink first; but I had $20 that I had to spend. **Of course in the fine print it stated I had to dine-in. I ordered two meals -- so the waitress brings out the sandwichs which one I was eating there and the other sandwich was to suppose to be for carry-out. The waitress was nice but her service was poor because she didn't know the meal; she kept saying "i don't know". **I gave her a break!!! Well when I was cashing out -- I asked "WHERE'S MY FRIES FOR THE TWO SANDWICHES?". She said you don't get fries and then of course I gave her the confused face because the meal said "fries with every sandwich" -- so she verified and came back then apologized with two fresh hot fries. **I might review this place later in the future (maybe) only if another deal comes around -- if I was paying full prices, then I might be a little more upset about the waiting.

We went here for a trivia contest and we won't be back. Most of the parking is in the back, and the back entertrance you need to walk thru where all the smokers smoke. It's a long corridor, full of cigarette butts and smoke. The interior was classic bar, 40 years ago. Cramp and musty. Wait staff was very busy, since there was one waiter and one bartender, and about 100 customers. So it was slow service that got every other drink order wrong. Stay with domestic beers. some of order food, I didn't trust it, and they said it was pretty good, they went with sliders. But while we were there, something happen in the kitchen. There was a big crash of dishes and a fair amount of yelling. Maybe we hit a bad night, they were under staff, but I won't be back.

Pretty good burgers. However, i ordered mine well done, and it was almost blackened. I liked the flavor that it gave it, and it was still juicy, but most people probably would have sent it back. I wasn't impressed with their Micro brew selection either.

Hubby & I love The Bowery! Once/wk we have date nite & this is always a chosen destination. Their food is delicious.. Their premium burgers, homemade chips , soft pretzel sticks with cheese & the chicken nachos are a few of my favorites! One of the best reubens ever! Nice beer selection and the best part is the bartender, Christine. Always greets you with a smile, has great sense of humor & makes you feel like family.

400 cigarette butts outside t front door, busted up flooring and doors, place is dark and nasty looking, 8 guys hangin on t bar, none were eating, no women, at rush hour. I had 2 bottled beers and left, afraid of what t kitchen looked like.

The specials are reasonable. The food is good, but as with most American food it was too greasey (thankfully not too salty!). The sliders were probably the best value they were bigger than expected. The service was alright. We did go in the middle of the afternoon so I can't tell you what dinner service would be like.

Went for the all you can eat crab special they have on Thursdays. I ended up ordering nachos, my wife had crab. They brought out a pretty decent amount for her every time, however there only seemed to be two waitresses working at the time and it would take a long time for ours to come back around. It got loud around 6:00 with what seemed to be their regular customers filling up the place. The nachos were very "blah", and it looked like every table in the place had a severe wobbling problem which gets annoying very fast. Not sure if we'd go back since there are several other places that offer all you can eat crab that are a bit nicer with better service and tables that don't make you feel like you're on a carnival ride. I will say that the two waitresses did good considering how busy they got.

Okay, I definitely approve of their chicken nachos. I think my mouth orgasmed ever so slightly. It was a wonderful experience. Highly recommended.

We stopped in here for an unexpectedly late dinner after a long day on the road. We were hungry, bordering on h-angry, and did not want to cook when we arrived home. While there is no dearth of options on Ford Road, I try to stay away from chains, and options are more limited toward 10 pm. I liked the large high top tables and the setup of televisions for this type of bar environment. It wasn't too loud, so we were able to zone out watching some ESPN, but still talk to one another as desired. The draft selection is reasonable and rotates. I had a Leinie's Summer Shandy which was the perfect temperature and carbonation level. We had some chips and salsa to stave off our hunger while we waited for dinner. I was pleasantly surprised that the chips were freshly fried, not just straight out of the bag. They weren't anything too special, but being fresh and crispy goes a long way. My partner had the sirloin steak with a baked potato and vegetables. It was cooked just as he ordered, and he said it was well-flavored. The potato was solid and the vegetable was mixed color string beans, a great choice for this time of year, and different than so many places that just have broccoli. I enjoyed my barbecued chicken salad. The chicken was still warm and tossed in barbecue sauce, so I didn't need much more dressing. The combination of ingredients was perfect. Based on the good level of service and quality, price of the food, I was surprised that this place wasn't busier. Maybe there are just too many choices on Ford Road, and this joint doesn't have the right gimmick? Really this should be a great spot for locals, so check them out.

Beer was great. The naked wings were delicious. Lots of nightly specials. Thursday night is all you can eat seafood. I may have to try that out. Small place but great environment.

Went here with my brother and mom, who was visiting from out of town. She had heard good things about the all you can eat crab legs so we thought we'd stop in. My brother and I each got a steak, and they were pretty good and decently priced. The crab legs, however, were a different story. The first batch came out ok, although very small in size (but we get it, it's AYCE, so that's expected). Unfortunately the second plate of legs came out microwaved, or should I say overcooked. They were soggy and wouldn't crack using the cracker. They were nearly impossible to get into, and once she did, she wasn't able to get anything out of them. It was painful to watch, and incredibly disappointing. For $27.95 it was definitely overpriced. It should have been more like $17.95. Or, here's an idea- supply freshly prepared legs to people paying $30, and more like $40-$50 with beverages. Service started out ok, but this is definitely a place with younger female waitresses focused more on the tables of men there after work than anyone else. The longer we waited for our food and bill the more blatant the flirting got, and we were getting more ignored. The service is absolutely nothing to be impressed by. Overall, we will never go back and will never recommend this place to anyone. Severely disappointed and completely unimpressed.

Only had nacho's and shrimp very good and the food presentation was great staff friendly thanks Canton, MI for the warm welcome

Service was pretty slow. Steak was cooked well but under seasoned, served with powdered mashed potatoes and previously frozen veggies. Pretty much what I expected. Come if this is what you are after.

Alright, Bowery...I'm gonna upgrade you. I like your wings. Other than the one poor experience I had a while ago, your staff is very friendly. I like the remodeling that you've done as well. For that...here you go. Boom. Another star.

I've been coming here for a long time. The Bowery actually used to sponsor my boyfriend's softball team and we would come up here after games. Ever since the restaurant has been redone and restaffed, it seems service has gone downhill. I wont discredit the food, it's excellent here, but the service is what makes me never want to come back. They have probably 2 of 10 pleasant servers, and they don't work there too often. The bar owner is usually there, but never seems to address the rude staff, EVEN AFTER I MENTION SOMETHING TO HIM. I met some friends up at the bar and waited 20 minutes for them to give me a menu, after I had asked! It seemed like they were ignoring me because I was a female. The man sitting next to me got frustrated that I was waiting so long that he said: "I believe this girl wants to order" ... in which the bartender replied "I'm working on closing out tabs" ... So that right there tells me her only concern was making money not focusing on decent service. My friends ordered another round of drinks and I was about to give her my drink order and she walked away. Never giving me a drink for the entirety of my stay at the bar! I was in disbelief. When my food came, I had to sip on my friend's drink. It's a shame I was treated so awfully, I usually tip very well, because I, myself, am a server. They're lucky I even payed for my meal.

Surprisingly good. Don't often have burgers these days but the $5 Monday deal was too good to refuse. I had the Black and Blue Burger (regularly $8.75) - it was great. I also added a salad (crisp and fresh) and a Redd's ale (cider - really good). Service was good and my waitress was excellent. Planning to go back Thursday for the all-you-can-eat crab (really??!!! In Michigan??!!)

Food is terrible!!!! Especially the French fries, always burnt or cold. They need to change fries. Hamburger patty wasn't good quality meat. Service was not great either. The only thing they do good is the crab legs.

I have been coming here forever & I can't find anything to complain about other than when my favorite booth is taken! I first heard about the Bowery due to the all you can eat crab on Thursdays which I love! You can't beat the price & you get a salad or soup & a side with the unlimited crab legs! Since then I have fallen in love with everything I have tried. The burgers are great & the appetizers I frequently order are the fried pickles, wings & homemade chips! I also follow the Bowery page on Facebook & the lunch specials always sound amazing!!!

The food was good. Atmosphere was alright bar was clean. Service was horrible. Heard the bartender openly say she was drunk, I believe her name was Danielle, and you could tell. We waited maybe a half hour for sweet potato fries, that should have come out with the rest of our meal and were told they were coming. I asked the manager for them, then they were out in minutes, so the drunk bartender forgot to order them for us, then charged us for them. We were given a discount because the service was horrible. And when we got our tab I asked for 13$ back, and she only gave me 10$. Yes it's only 3$ but it's 3$ she did not deserve. I would like to thank the two other girls who were picking up the drunk bartenders slack and the man who I think was the owner, for not making the experience as bad as it could have been. Not from the area so I won't be back, but I do not recommend this place and would never tell someone to go there. The two stars are for the girls picking up her slack, thank you, I wish my money went to you

My wife and I were looking for a cheap-ish, not too far from home, night out, and the Bowery was our choice this past Saturday night because of the karaoke. We've also been here before to eat and play trivia during the week, but this was our first foray on a weekend evening. We were pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere, friendliness, and overall great time that we had. Food-wise, they have some great specials, some of which I haven't even tried yet (yes, they still have All you can eat Crab on Thursdays- if you don't like the smell of crab/seafood- do NOT go on Thursday night). However, we have tried the $1 taco promo on Tuesdays and while it's definitely not gourmet, for bar food, they do a good job. My chips and queso on Saturday night was an odd cheese on top of salsa and heated item, and it was oddly sweet... definitely not something i'd recommend, but it was cheap. We've had the reuben and a burger there before and while nothing memorable or five-star worthy, we would not hesitate to eat here again. Drinks are where this place earn the extra star for us because they always have a beer of the month (this month is Coors drafts for $3 even on Saturdays!), and they usually have a shot or two special as well... Cherry bombs for $3 is a steal also. Furthermore, karaoke was great with some decent singers, kind of a crapshoot since there's no books so the host kinds of improvises on the fly... but not a ton of singers means not a ton of wait to sing. Cheap drinks/beer plus not too long to sing makes the time fly! Ok, this is somewhat of a Cheers-type bar... there are a lot of regulars, probably a 4-1 guy-girl ratio, its a more older and laid-back middle age type of crowd...and not a lot of servers/bartenders. But we've only been there maybe 3 times and we've been treated very well every single time. Is this a place you'd come by to meet someone to hook up with? Probably not. But is this a place you can go shop at Ikea the entire afternoon, come watch the Tigers game, get drunk for less than $20, sing a little karaoke and walk to the White Castle next door for sliders at 1AM? Definitely yes.

A group of 8 of us went in on a Tuesday for lunch and were happy to see that it was $5 burger special day! I had a monster of a burger with fried egg & bacon on it (actually 4 of us had the same burger). It had just the right amount of burgery goodness (not to mention greasy cholesterol)! I couldn't finish it AND my fries as well. The burger could have used a little seasoning (salt & pepper) while on the grill, but other than that I was happy & full. I'll certainly be back for lunch, and I'm eyeing the AYCE crab legs on Thursday nights!

Fun place to go with a group for all-u-can-eat crab on Thursday nights. The crab is good considering it's served in mass quantities - I usually get the baked potato side which can be undercooked at times, and they give you a blurb of watery corn too but hey....you're there to leave stuffed to the gills with crab, right? If this is the case, then The Bowery will not disappoint. If crab is not your bag, they also have a decent menu with many other choices: burgers, nachos, sandwiches. 3 stars because the service is great sometimes, and 'meh' at others - and the food is by no means 'above-average' but it gets the job done for bar food. Luck of the draw I guess. Some of the booths along the side of the restaurant were tore UP, like to the point where you felt like one might swallow your ass up, but I do believe those have since been fixed. I like it because it's close to home and I love crab night, and I also have good memories of other fun crab nights in the past. My fun past crab nights are beyond Bowery's control, I realize this...but in a nutshell, I am sure I will return...

They were open on Christmas! Good local bar that has a lot of regulars, cold beer and plenty of drinks available. Didn't eat anything.

I ordered fish and chips for carryout. It took so long to get my order I had time to order and eat a sandwich. The fish order was $11.50. Not worth the price. Got the order home, not impressed with the fries. I won't be back.

Nice little local bar and grille. Lots of locals, so if you walk in just act like you have been there before. Decent drink prices, a bit higher than we were use to . They serve a full menu till 1130pm then fried food only til midnight.
