Amazing food. I went yesterday for the second time and the food was sooo delicious, its super clean place and the staff are very friendly. I definitly rcommend to try it and frankly cannot think if any Cons to add except that i would go more often if its a little cheaper but still the prices are within average

I'm sitting here eating this burger right now and it is delicious. Same quality as the Dearborn location. Finally cooked and exactly what I'm looking for. Way better than any of those fast food restaurants or even red ruby or any middle tier hamburger place. Definitely worth the money.

The Best Burger Everrrrrrrrrrr, i went there when it first opened and the food was amazing. The place is super clean and the staff/service was excellent. the next day, i took my family there and we had our lunch outside by the lake. not sure what the secret recipy is for their Burgers but it sooo delicious. their pricing is inexpensive in comparison to the Quality of food you receive. i've been back to Famous Hamburger many times and i would definitely recommend it.

My brother and I ordered take-out from this place last week bc it's one of the few places open late in Canton. I normally go to the Dearborn location, which makes pretty decent burgers. I regret ordering from here because the food was absolutely atrocious. The patty was dry and bland tasting, the cheese looked and tasted like melted plastic--the cheap, generic kind you would get from a warehouse. The bun was very greasy and stale tasting. The burger looked nothing like the burgers presented in the menu. I also had fries and coleslaw with my order. The coleslaw was ok, but the fries tasted like they were fried in rancid frying oil. My brother ordered a burger with bacon. The bacon was very burnt and crispy, and he ordered extra bacon and they forgot to include it. So we were charged extra for nothing. He also got lentil soup on the side, and it had the appearance of watery vomit. It literally was watered down, flavorless, and there was a visible layer of water on top. I contacted them about this, and they did kindly apologize to me, so I really hope they fix these quality control issues. Though for the time being, I would avoid this place.

Had a very nice lunch here today with plenty left over for later. Service was friendly and prompt, clean comfortable diner atmosphere. We both ordered the grilled eggplant sandwich which came with very creamy tasty cole slaw and excellent fresh cut fries (generous portion). The sandwich was very good- tasted like a tuna melt but with eggplant. Anyplace that can satisfy my eggplant craving gets an A+ from me! Totally recommend for casual/family dining...expansive menu.

I stumbled upon this restaurant the other day and decided to give it a try. The inside looks clean and we were seated right away (it wasn't very busy). The California avocado burger was awesome! The onion rings were ok, but the waffle fries were great. Our waitress was really friendly, too.

I love hamburgers, and this place never disappoints. The meat, buns, and fries are always fresh. The portions are good for the pricing (8-12 depending on burger.) Burger orders include coleslaw and fries (regular, waffle, onion) on the side. When I'm craving a halal hamburger, but don't feel like driving to Dearborn, this location never disappoints. The only reason I give them a 4 star and not a 5 star is because of the service. The staff is overall nice and friendly (and will ask you if you need anything about 4-5 times during your meal.) However, I do believe there could be a bit more professionalism in terms of how guests are served and greeted when they enter in. Overall, Famous Hamburger in Canton is a great place to go when you're craving some good food!

While out in Canton, I decided to stop in at this establishment to decided to try their Chicken Baguette sandwich. This was the first time I stopped in to this restaurant, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Thankfully, the sandwich was really large, and didn't disappoint me. However, the coleslaw was really runny with too much moisture. IMHO, they could grind up the cabbage more thoroughly like most other restaurants do. Sadly, I still have yet to find a place that makes coleslaw like my mother did. The only reason I give them three stars and not a four, is because of the service. The staff is really nice and friendly. The come and ask you several times if you need anything or a refill of your drink. However, I do believe there could be a slightly higher level professionalism when guests are greeted when they enter into the establishment, and while being served at the table. One good thing, is at the front counter they have business cards for the local SuperBowl in Canton. This means that Famous Hamburgers will give you a free game of bowling at this local center. This is a great value if you love to bowl like I do. I am looking forward to going back and trying one of their burgers in the future.

Just opened on Monday 7/1/13. Looks like the same owners as the Dearborn location! I've been watching for this place to open as it's close to home and I just LUV me a good burger joint! So I went in all starry eyed to sample the goods one day last week. The place has been given a facelift, and is clean & fresh. It was also empty of customers. Word apparently hasn't gotten out yet. I ordered a chocolate milkshake that was made from real, fresh ice cream the old fashioned way and it was deliscious. I also ordered a Famous burger (gotta have my fried egg!) and an order of onion rings. The rings were big & meaty, the way I love them. Just the right amount of batter to make them awesome! With a generous portion size, they were practically a meal in themselves. The burger was as close to what is pictured in the menu as I've ever seen at a restaurant. 2 - 1/3# patties with a fried egg, cheese, lettuce & tomato, just they way i like it. The bun was fresh and wonderful, and I practically had to unhinge my jaw to take a bite of this monster-o-tastiness. Good quality meat with just the right amount of flavor, I will definitely try another one. Next time - add bacon! They've got a diverse menu with quite a bit of selections, so I should be able to cycle through some interesting stuff (next time I'm gonna try the calamari steaks!). Their location is a bit off the path, so they'll need to be creative about the marketing, but so far so good!

Great burgers!!! Fried egg burger is my favorite. Never dry, bread is always just right. The Mac N cheese bites are amazing! I wish the fries were cooked a little longer, as I'm not a fan of soggy fries but to each their own. Also, strawberry shake is a new family fav.

I saw this place on yelp and thought I would give it a try. I ordered the chicken wings, the burger with the cheese inside and 4 mini burgers with fries. My fist disappointment was when I opened the wings and found there were only 6 wings for $8.99. When I tried the wings my opinion did not improve. Blue cheese was also not available. My wife said the mini burger tasted good and the fries were good as well. My burger was ordered med rare, unfortunately they cooked it med well to well done. I found it rather dry and didn't finish it. The cheese was supposed to be inside the burger but most had oozed out into the container before I got it home. I had high hope for this place but don't think I will be going back and will stick with Roy's squeeze inn.

With a name like Famous Hamburger, the burger should have been amazing. But unfortunately, it was just Ok. It was clean and service was friendly. Ordered a burger with fries and onion rings to go and my bill was about $16.00. I thought that was a tad pricey. The sides were just okay as well.

My favorite part was of course the burgers. They were juicy and delicious with a ton of topping choices. The burger itself tasted like something homemade. It's was quite enjoyable. I didn't care for the bun it was served on. It was too dry and took away from the burgers taste. I also ordered chili cheese fries. They forgot to add the chili cheese to my fries when they came (Our waitress chose to take our orders from memory instead of writing it down which is a peeve of mine because it's so easy to forget or make a mistake). However when I mentioned something she did bring out a large bowl of chili. It was a generous portion! Unfortunately, the chili was not my favorite for fries. Service was quick and friendly. The inside is small with a bit of a diner feel and looked very clean. All in all it wasn't bad. If they changed the buns on those burgers it would earn a higher spot in my book but regardless the burgers really are delicious! I'm on the fence on this one. Will most certainly have to come back for another round.

This place is alright. It is pretty small, only a handful of tables and not much decor yet. Seeing as though the name of the restaurant is "Famous Hamburger" my husband and I each ordered a burger to check them out. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and my husband ordered the "famous" burger. The burgers come with coleslaw and your choice of onion rings, fries, waffle fries, garden salad, caesar salad or a bowl of soup, we got fries and onion rings which were both pretty good. We also ordered mozzarella cheese sticks as an appetizer, they were just ok, for $8 I expected them to be a bit tastier or larger. The burgers were good but were an absolute mess to eat, I went through at least 10 napkins while eating it!! They come with famous sauce, onions, lettuce, tomato and pickles on them, all the toppings and the giant burger just felt like overkill to me. PROS: Huge burgers!! Super friendly staff, everyone was very nice!! CONS: Crazy messy burger!! A little on the pricey side! TIPS: There is a printable coupon on their website for $5 off a purchase of $25 or more or $10 off a purchase of $50 or more

We were pretty let down by this place, ordered a burger w/ fries, a salmon burger w/ fires and an appetizer (mac and cheese bites) to go. Took 20 minutes for our order to come out, staff was about as friendly as a hand grenade and the price was a bit much for what we got. I was really hoping that the food would be worth the wait and price but it was all very bland. The burgers were made from frozen patties and the appetizer portion was maybe 10 little bite things. Considering places like Five Guys, Moo Cluck Moo and Basement Burger Bar are just up on Ford Road you would think these guys would really try to step up their service and food. I normally get a takeout menu to give to co-workers instead I just gave them the advice to not bother with the place. I think the only thing that will end up being famous is the bad service, bland food, and lousy location.

The burgers tasted like they had been frozen and reheated. They didn't ask us how we liked them cooked so that combined with the taste makes me think the patties aren't even close to fresh. Everything else tasted like it was frozen at one time as well (fries, chicken, etc.). A big disappointment since the Dearborn location seems to have gotten much better reviews than this location.
