I am more of a fan of Olive Garden once they started coming out with the dining coupons. Otherwise, not a very good value. This is our third visit to this restaurant in a couple years. Each time, it's freezing in there. Just a note to take a jacket. Food and service was as expected; just fine for a Saturday afternoon.

This location is better than most Olive Gardens. The staff here are great and the food meets a pretty high standard. I especially recommend the minestrone here, I swear they make it better than at other locations.

After several months of planning my sister's baby shower, we learned the night before the shower the venue had no power...and it was Olive Garden to the rescue! We would have been happy with the most mediocre service, we just needed a new venue asap. My sister spoke with Amanda at 10pm the night before and made arrangements for 55 people. From start to finish, it was as if the shower had always been planned to be there. The staff was fantastic, the food was good, and our guests were very impressed. One guest said it was the best shower she had ever been to (and she's old.) The best part was the staff. Mel and Evie (Chevy) were amazing. From nice conversation to wrapping up our fragile decor, they were the most thoughtful employees I have ever come across. When it comes to my sister and event planning, I'm a bit type A and have high expectations. To say I was blown away would be an understatement. I was not expecting this from Olive Garden, but wow I will be back! I hope Olive Garden appreciates their staff...Amanda, the nice lady who set everything up (forget her name) Nick, Mel and Chevy...YOU ARE MY HEROES!!!!!! XOXO, Danielle

You know last time I visited an Olive Garden, it wasn't this one & I didn't care if I ever went to one again! But today my hubby & I had been to a funeral & we were hungry & decided to stop here at this one ! First off, we sat for at least 15 minutes and no one said a word!!! But then a really nice waitress, named "Evie" came over. Our luck quickly changed! Evie was so kind, she figured out a way to help me get just soup instead of the "soup 'n salad! Then I got to adds small plate of Ziti & 3-cheese Marinara! Oh My Gosh! It was "to die for"!! It tasted so good that I should've ordered more!! But I just had to save room for the chocolate mousse cake!!! Well that chocolate mousse cake watered in my mouth!! It's like a taste of "Heaven"!! Oh and I got that pasta soup? It's like a Minestrone but much better! So yess's go there again!! Evie, our server was totally awesome !!!! Go ahead ask for her!!

This place is amazing! Boyfriend and I went out to eat and decided to go to olive garden. Now it was a Sunday night so talk about busy! But the waitress was a sweetheart and even though we waited the food was divine! My meal was the salmon brussetta. Was light and perfectly delicious.

This Olive Garden is close to home, and occasionally my fiancé will suggest it when we're planning to eat out. Once we're here, I always remember that last the time I swore I'd talk him out of it if he suggests it again. It feels cramped, like the tables are strategically placed to utilize every spare inch of space. From a business standpoint, this makes sense. As the customer that is entirely too close to a table with children behaving as if they were at Chuck E. Cheese, I am beyond irritated. Last time we were here, we waited 45 minutes for a table - which was longer than we were told the wait would be. For the price, there are many restaurants with better food and a nicer ambiance. I've been the optimistic, "let's try again" one for the last time tonight.

My wife and are still sitting at our table, as I write this review. The food was fantastic! Timely and not hurried. Everything came out at the right time. Our servers were very knowledgable and top notch. This restaurant is on top of its game.

Nice location. Very clean inside. A bit different from the one in Saginaw. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Quite spacious location.

The hostess and wait staff are always exceptional. My co-workers and I will go quite often on our lunch hour and they are sensitive to our time limit we have. Food is always prepared as requested as well. Thanks! Debbie

Took the "Kids" out for their Birthday's. The food was consistent with what we've come to expect at this Olive Garden (we weren't disappointed!). We ordered Steak Gorgonzola, Chicken Con Broccoli, Manicotti Formaggio, and a Tour of Italy. Everything was good, except the Tour of Italy dishes were decidedly dry. There was an obvious lack of sauce on all three of the included sub-entree's. The service was O.K. to start with, but after we received the check we stayed and visited for a while (maybe 30~40 minutes). In that time we were never asked if we'd like drink refills, or for anything else. In fact, the Waiter came and took the check while we were sitting there talking (which is a BIG faux pas in my book!). I had tipped our customary 20%, so I figured after that we'd get some drink refills, but no - there was no acknowledgement. Well, it's hard to get good help all the time I guess...

Went last night for the Two for $25 deal; our waiter Jorge was awesome. The food was great, the Peach Sangria was delicious and the overall experience was very pleasant.

The food is pre-processed. I'm not super picky in all honesty. The breadsticks, however, are about a heartless and useless as a food can get. The food can be tasty, but it's nothing special. People still go there because, I guess, they've always gone there. It was packed this past Saturday night... But, really, go across the street to Johnny Carino's for MUCH better quality. Drive the extra 1/4 mile! It's about the same price, but you'll get a lot better and a lot more food. Sorry, no free crappy salad with "cheese" and nor tired breadsticks like the Olive Garden. I remember when this place used to be good.

It's an Olive Garden. No more; no less! Same in Ohio, Illinois, Florida, etc.

This Olive Garden i think is the very best!!! their staff is really nice, always with a smile, and the speed of how fast the food gets to our table along with the bread sticks and salad is very fast. As usual the wait may take a while but the time i have gone there it was about 15-20 minutes which isn't to bad. Their food is the best and always served with a smile... recommend spaghetti with meat sauce!

We love the Olive Garden. This location has friendly service that is pretty prompt even at busy times. It is common to have the manager come and check on your table as well. Nice touch. Autumn was our server tonight and she was top notch. OG, Give her a raise or a gas card or something.

Let me start out by saying I'm giving this place three stars only because there's nothing stand out about it -- not because I don't love the Olive Garden. Yes it is not necessarily the most authentic Italian experience, and yes it has become quite the commercialized chain, but this place is reliable. You know exactly what to expect when you walk into an Olive Garden restaurant, and you rarely walk out with any disappointment. My friend and I wanted to meet halfway between Lansing and West Bloomfield (our respective locations) for dinner one night. We decided to go somewhere in Brighton. After spending the afternoon looking up different places to go, looking specifically for restaurants unique to Brighton, we decided it might be better to stick with a place we already knew we'd like. So, for the first time in quite a few years, I had dinner at Olive Garden. The first thing I was very happy with was how convenient the place was to get to, plus how easy it was to find. Not being familiar with Brighton at all, I was a bit worried about getting lost. Getting there was no problem, however. The second thing I noticed was how beautiful the restaurant was from the outside. It was a stand alone structure, and it looked much like a Tuscan country home. Now, as I said I have not been to an Olive Garden in years, but I don't remember any of the ones I frequented looking so pretty. The third highlight of my dining experience was how walking in there almost felt like going home. I tried some chicken dish that was new to me, and my friend with the old favorite, Taste of Italy (which makes good for two meals). All in all the entire experience was delightful, even if it was just Olive Garden. The inside was exactly how I remember the inside of any Olive Garden looking, the menu looked the same... and the food was just tasted just as good as I thought it would.

Have been to this particular Olive Garden many times and have found food and service consistently good. They are able to provide noodle free soup for my wife, who is gluten intolerant and not all Olive Gardens will do this. Although soup and salad is plenty for me, they offer the regular Olive Garden fare and serve it well. This place is on my "go-to" list for a predictable tasty meal. I was hesitant to give a 5 star rating until I had several visits and verified consistency of the service. A year later and 8+ excellent visits earns 5 stars from me. This is THE BEST Olive Garden in the area and if you enjoy Olive Garden, you owe it to yourself to visit this one.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
