We had the boys so we thought we would check out their "Halloween scary pancake" special. We went in and was seated (by the manager) in a section off the main part of the place. Walking past two tables that were filthy, both on the table and the floor, we became skeptic of the cleanliness. These tables and flooring were still dirty when we left. We ordered our drinks, no silver ware because they were waiting on them from the dishwasher (we were told). The kids got orange juice and the three of us got coffee. Our 3 year old took two drinks of the orange juice and spit it up. Never happened before. Smelled it and it smelled sour. Before we could comment on the orange juice we were delivered our silverware... filthy!! Dried pancake on two of the forks. Disgusting! We told our waitress and she seemed very upset we were upset. "It happens" when the place is a rush. The "Halloween Pancakes" apparently brought in more people than they usually have. We politely left our table and tole the manager. He offered free meals but to be honest, it was too dirty to be eating there. This is our third time of going into IHop in Brighton and having issues with our food and cleanliness. Sorry, IHop, we will NEVER be back.

Location, location, location. What better location for an IHOP than right next door to a hotel? You walk out the hotel door and turn the corner and it's right there. I'd say 45 seconds to walk there...maybe a minute. Needless to say, we went here for breakfast since the hotel's free breakfast was over. They were busy as usual but we were able to find a table. Our waitress seemed busy and talked like she was reciting a speech but got our orders right. Our meals were good and just what we needed. Decor and floor plan looks just like any other IHOP. I will say that I was disappointed that they did not have soy milk to use for my coffee. I don't see why more places don't have it if they have all other milks there. It would be helpful to see more chains like IHOP become sensitive to dietary restrictions. On Friday and Saturday they are open 24/7 which is awesome.

I hate to do this because the service was pretty good, but everything else was awful. Should have walked right out when the smell of nasty musty table rags hit me, yuck. When our order arrived, some of it was "off", like it was rotting. Kind of like old lunch meat. Just nasty. I will never walk into an iHop again.

I came here yesterday and ordered a southwesteren club. It was good tasting but the tomatos were very bland and had a very weird texture. My mom ordered french toast with a side of eggs thats were the worst eggs my mom has ever had. They had no taste at all. Over all this place was OK. The service was great.

Went to this IHOP on New Year's Day. The worst, absolutely worst omelet I have ever had. I took 2 bites and it was 2 bites too many. Same with my boyfriends scrambled eggs. When I asked why it was so bland, they waitress said I had ordered the omelet without pancake batter which makes the omelet fluffy and flavorful. I have never heard of adding pancake batter to an omelet. A few hours later we were both sick with stomach cramps, etc. I will never enter any IHOP anywhere after this experience.

My husband and I often order carry out here. Every time I call I am placed on hold so someone who didn't answer the phone can take my order. They have parking for curbside to go, and I'm never asked if I want them to bring the food out to my car. I park there and walk in. When I walk in, usually am greeted by a hostess who can't help ring out my order. She always, ALWAYS has to call someone else up to the desk to ring me out. Not sure why I always have to talk to someone else to place the order and to pay instead of the hostess (who I assume answers the phone too). Food is pretty good. Staff is polite and friendly.

Awful. We stood at the door for 5 minutes awkwardly while no one greeted us. The manager was complaining that she couldn't read her employees handwriting, and still never took the time to say hello. There was a wait, which I wouldn't have minded if the service hadn't been crap. You better believe when we decided to leave the manager noticed immediately and yelled at us as we walked out the door demanding to know our name, which is not a difficult name and I already had to repeat it 3 times to the idiot hostess.

Ihop marketing does a good job advertising but the food never seems as good as it looks on the commercial. I tried the jelly donut pancakes they were ok, but nothing special. Ive had better pancakes and same with the bacon nothing special.

IHOP is like an old friend, it was a special place after church on Sundays for a family meal, my go to late night study location and after bar taco-bell alternative in college and now a place to get simple predictable food. Been to this location twice in the past few months; once in the early morning after dropping my son off at the airport on the way to college and now with him and the bride after picking him up for break. One nice thing about this location is the abundance of servers; true that ours accidentally threw away our order slip the last time here and we had to re-order, but she was honest and earnest and I appreciated that. A good mix of dishes between the three of us; Chicken and Waffles, Chocolate Chip Pancakes and the Philly Cheesesteak. All respectable, all good. If you are looking for simple consistency, the ready availability of butter pecan syrup, or like me, to enjoy the nostalgia associated with memories, I'd say give it a try.

Great location being next to our hotel but not happy with food or service. Sad thing is they were not even busy!!
