I used to go to this place all the time and then the food wasn't very good anymore so I stopped going. Today, I needed Chinese I thought I'd give it another shot. Apparently they have been under new management since July of 2014 and it's so much better! I'm so happy I have a Chinese place again!

I have driven by here many times, but only stopped in when I asked Yelp for a recommendation. The food was ok- the wonton soup was good. The menu was very inexpensive. I think I'll try this place again.

Undercooked chicken, two kinds of onions and soggy crinkle cut french fries was served as Curry Chicken! Will NEVER go back there.

A place where the food just hits the spot. Great service. Good food. Zero complaints.

I love this place. I go absolutely every single time i'm in town. You have to eat in- its a ton of food for the $ and its all delicious. Not only do I love it- but all of my friends from out of town always beg to go back here when they come to town with me. My personal favorite is their veggie lo mein. Their rolls are AWESOME- i could eat so many of them (I've gotten them to go before), the soup is good, egg rolls are my favorite. The Lo Mein in particular is perfect every single time and has a good balance of veggies and noodles with a good amount of seasoning/sauce. I am not a leftovers person (at all) but the lo mein is even better reheated. I always get this a eat it for the next two days. At the end of the meal you get fortune cookies AND almond cookies. Delicious! Their portions are big and all the food I've ever had here has been fantastic- and I've been going here for over 10 years. I also highly recommend their lemon chicken and almond chicken. To top it off their service is fast and friendly. Love it!

I got three dishes here along with an order of fried rice. The fried rice and one of the dishes (sorry, can't remember what it was) were okay, but the other two were bland and tasteless.

We ordered a variety of take-out from here and it was basically hit or miss. The crab rangoons were pretty good, and better than most other places around (which really isn't a high bar, but I still appreciate a good rangoon). The lettuce wraps were not good. The filling had a weird flavor and was dry and mushy. No texture to it besides the lettuce and no flavor beside what I think was hoisin sauce. And I hate hoisin sauce. So, I just ate the lettuce by itself. Since I have a salad addiction, I wasn't too sad about this. The mongolian beef combo was a really large portion with a lot of meat and a flavorful sauce, but the broccoli was hard/stringy and mostly inedible. The chow mei fun rice noodles were excellent though, and since these are my favorite thing I was able to overlook the less than stellar appetizers. It was packed into a takeout box and wound up being 3 meals' worth. It was chocked full of veggies and had a very good spice level which I thought was on point for the medium spice I ordered. I think this is the type of place where you need to find your go-to entree and just stick with it. Since a lot of other places don't have chow mei fun, I'd definitely go back for that.

Sorry, this place is not good. I have tried it twice and that's enough. Their egg rolls are full of canned sprouts and nothing else with a horrible wrapper. The second time I was there for lunch, the food was just OK, and I was the only one eating. The manager came over and started telling me about how people call and complain about their take-out orders. Really? I'm supposed to listen to this? Never again.

This is someplace I really like to hit up when I'm in the area. Their chicken mushroom soup is unique compared to other Chinese restaurants I frequent, and I love it! When I lived closer I'd often stop by on my way to get a carry-out of just the soup to go with whatever else I was tossing together for dinner. The atmosphere inside is nice and the service has always been friendly and accommodating. I'm obviously not the only one who thinks so either, as this is one of those places where I always run into someone I know unexpectedly.

This was my first visit, and I almost walked out after over 10 minutes of being ignored, waiting for service. They were busy, but staff working the tables avoided eye contact and completely ignored me standing at the entrance. Finally, one of the patrons asked her waitress to assist me. When she approached, she apologized that she could not take cash, but did agree to take my order. (I decided that they probably didn't want to "waste" as table on a single person, so carry-out was my best choice.) The Almond Chicken and chicken fried rice were some of the best that I have had in the area. The spring roll was filled with tough, rubbery vegetables, making it inedible The dinner rolls are tall, sweet bread, and delicious. Excellent Chinese food is hard to find in the area. I really wanted this to be as wonderful as some of the reviews, and may try it one more time, dining in, but only with companions. Maybe I will get better service.

I had such high hopes. When I came in, I had to wake up the waiter, who was snoring and appeared to be sniffling and sick- that should have been my warning- if you are the only customer, it's a roll of the dice what you'll get. I specifically asked them to leave out the MSG, as I'm allergic. They didn't, and although I only was inclined to take a few bites of my extremely mediocre cashew chicken, I still felt the effect (I get sick). The cashew chicken had huge slabs of chicken, some still with the rubbery parts on them, as if the cook hadn't gone to the trouble to do much- same with the vegetables. The egg roll was hard and overcooked (as if it had been sitting under a lamp?) and filled with what appeared to be canned cabbage and nothing else, although I didn't eat much of it, either. The tea was completely tasteless- which is actually pretty hard to do. I told the waiter, and also the lady who appeared to be the manager about the MSG in the food, and how I was going to be sick from it, also how the dish was not very good. They were polite and took the dishes away. I asked for some steamed rice to take home- the only thing that was good, really. They neither offered a concession on the price, nor offered the rice, and the meal (of which I only took about 4 bites, and ate the soup) cost me $15. Terrible deal, distasteful experience. Skip this place.

Beef with peapods was good, lo mein was good, but the General Tso's was hard and dry even while immersed in sauce. The egg rolls were just okay. Service was fast, prices average Not a lot of chinese food available in Brighton.

The worst Chinese food I ever tasted used to be a good restaurant but recently the food has been terrible, service was a joke server made excuses for bad tea than served me out of same cup with the same terrible tea. My wife ordered the only dish she trust Almond Chicken, chicken has old hard and had no flavor at all, egg rolls where overlooked, no rolls had be offered and even my cup of soup was barley half full. I had ordered Beef Chow Mien with soft rice noodles which came to cold in a ball not loose and hot, beef was rubbery and had NO flavor at all. Server seemed preoccupied and never asked my wife for a refill on her diet Coke and the famous Almond cookies tasted stale and fresh like we remembered. Back about 6 months ago we had a pretty nice dinner here and been coming here for over 18 years, that night the owner was cooking and was a completely different experience. But the funny thing was when we cracked open the fortune cookie mine ironically read "one would be wise to din in new establishment in future"

Dissapointed. Overly pricey for moderate food. Sweet and Sour Chicken had cold pineapple tossed on the top and covered in sauce. POrtion size was decent, but not for $12. Still looking for good chinese in Brighton.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
