Whenever I get into town I get Bobbies. Prices are reasonable, pizzas great, friendly workers.
You will love their pizza and they don't skimp on cheese and toppings. Bobbies Pizza is worth the drive from Midland.
Good old Bobbie's. I remember when you first opened - a looong time ago. My family and I have ordered god only knows how many pizzas over the years - and they've always been good. Big chunks of fresh ingredients, a nice and chewy not-too-thin or thick crust, tasty sauce and a good amount of cheese. Me likey. Me love you long time. Not sure how things are now, but in my high school days, Bobbie's was a go-to place for lunch time pizza slices and smoke breaks - outside, of course... (Those punk kids!) As I recall, they served a damn good (big) slice of 'za. They also make awesome subs. I've only ordered the turkey, which comes with that great pizza dough and is served hot, like a huge open-face sub/sandwich, topped with shaved turkey, lettuce, tomato and mayo. For my Auburn pizza needs, Bobbies fits the bill. For my Auburn bread stick needs, La Pizza takes the cake. Sorry, Bobby.

The best breadsticks (aka, la crust) ever!!! I know some who order them with the three available sauces to mix-n-match it up - nacho cheese sauce, ranch + pizza sauce. Personally, I like a double-dip mix with ranch AND pizza sauce, for the perfect combo. This place is across the street from my old high school, and brings back fond (and simultaneously gross, due to over-eating) memories of our usual lunchtime stop. Do highschoolers get sick of eating a heaping plate of cheesy dough along with a big styrofoam cup of diet/cherry coke every day for lunch? Nope. They don't. This place packs in the school kids on the daily, cranking out order after order of crust, and oh how I wish I was in that lunch line today to get me some! Their pizza is okay - chewy dough, on the thinner side, nothing too special. But their breadsticks are really where it's at. I love & miss you, La Pizza!
This is a local favorite so it seems people are stuck with what they remember the place to be rather than what it is. I heard about the "la crust" aka the breadsticks so I decided to give them and a pizza a try. The breadsticks are doughy which is great as I enjoy breadsticks with a little more chew to them. However the dough wasn't great and it was overpowered by butter (which makes anything taste better). The pizza was average at best. Nothing to be wowed over and it a bit flat on flavor. The staff is a mixed crew of amazingly friendly to being bothered that you stepped foot in the door. I've been here twice, once on purpose and to pick up pizza for work. Both times I felt invisible when walking in as I saw people in the kitchen area (directly visible when you walk in). The first time the lady slapped down her pad and seemed irritated I showed up. The next time a different lady was polite however no apologies for the 5 minute wait to even speak to her.
Pizza is average i would say. Breadsticks are overrated basically little caesers style

I've been here a few times when visiting the family in Midland and have always been impressed. They have been very accommodating of my kid (1.5 years old) and the service has been friendly and attentive. This is not a fast restaurant, so don't expect to get out quickly, especially if you go for apps/meal/dessert/wine. The desserts are so so good and they have an extensive wine list. They do not have a dedicated kid's menu, so my son usually eats an appetizer as his meal.
This was our fourth time dining at Shari's. The previous three would all rate 5 stars for dining and service. Atmosphere is what it is, the old Willard Hilton. This time the service was terrible. Extremely slow. My peanut crusted steak came as over cooked medallions with a few chopped peanuts on top with a dab of Wasabi sauce. Menu description was very misleading A nearby diner had a seafood trio. He questioned the waiter about the seabass not being quite right. The waiter informed him that they had run out of sea bass and made a substitution. Probably should have let him know beforehand. Maybe just a bad night but it will be a while before we go back. I also agree with others that the prices are too high for what you get.
We had high expectations and found ourselves very disappointed. My fish was over cooked and when our food came so did the flies. There was nothing special about anything we ate and we will never go back.

I don't know how Pat and jerry's can get anything less than 5 stars, for the price, service and food it's a win-win. I went there twice while in MI and will go back every time there. The buffet is $7.25 and all the food is fresh and homemade not like any other place I have been too for double the price. The pies are baked fresh and by hand daily.........go and try this place you have nothing to lose. Also the lemonade is made by hand.........5 people,4 drinks for 46.00 including tax.............. awesome!
A decent local restaurant with menu service and a buffet. Most of the selections are good, and there's a decent-tasting steak for a good price. Service is usually very good.
I liked the food here, they have a good buffet for lunch with various pastas, salad bar, soup, and stuff to make tacos or a taco salad. They also have really good cookies and desserts. It's very affordable if you're looking to not spend a lot of money. Very casual dining atmosphere. Good service, friendly wait staff. You have to pay up front after you get your bill, and the line can get long up there which was annoying. I have only been there once, some of my family love it there. I would go back but won't go out of my way to go back, just because it wasn't special, but they are a nice little place.
