I REALLY wanted to like this place. I love Thai food, but this place was seriously lacking in flavor. Did I mention that this place is geared towards take out only? If you happen to eat in it is all packaged in take-away form. So disappointing. I will not be back.

Love The Thai Place. Order from here at least once a month and everything I've tried has been amazing. The owners are great and have even made special dishes when I've gone in with my Thai sister in law. Give it a try. You will be pleasantly surprised.

I love the Thai here. I find they have better food than most of the places in Portland - also, fantastic service. One of my favorite places. My only wish is that they delivered.

We finally tried Thai Place and were pleasantly surprised at the quality or the food! The fresh spring rolls and chicken satay were fresh and delicious. We got chicken pad thai, drunken noodles, and orange chicken were all excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for Thai food in the Windham area. Our takeout order was prepared quickly, and the service was excellent. We will be back again!

After numerous visits and comparing it to Thai restaurants in western Massachusetts, I have to say Thai Place has the best Thai food I've tried. Their pad Thai is excellent, and their staff is always friendly.

I stopped here for lunch with the hopes to enjoy a Pad Thai, and an appetizer. The appetizers were priced the same as the lunches, and the menu was minimal. The food was okay, but the service and the 'plating' was below standard. I was served my food all in 'to-go' containers, even though I sat in a booth. The older man that served, tossed the food o the table and didn't make any eye contact and walked away. I was the ONLY customer in the restaurant. I ordered a diet Pepsi and it was given to me in the bottle. Frankly, I was not at all satisfied with the service, the atmosphere and the cheap-ass plastic-ware, styrofoam bowl, all very low class service for the money. I might have had an entirely different experience and enjoyed the food if it felt like a real restaurant rather than a fast-food low-level place to eat.

Best Thai food in western Maine north of Portland. If you headed up 302 and are looking for a place to stop in Windham for Asian food this is it. Wonderful, fresh made food in the thai style. Always fast and served in togo boxes ready for the road. It's not a classy sit down place but it's very clean and friendly. I stop by on my way to bridgton. Pad thai 2 star with a side of peanut sauce is my recommendation . Red curry is very good too! *5 star by windham standards

Average fair, the food was okay. The thai tea was good. Soup could have been more pungent. Was disappointed in the Drunken Noodles because I specifically asked if it was the wide spungy noodles. It was not, the noodles were simply the wider long kind. Not the squarish spungy noodles I love. The flavor was okay. But for Drunken Noodle fans, you know it's ALL ABOUT THE NOODLES. I wish they had been honest, I'd have tried the green curry and likely would have left a far better review. My meal was served in a to go container. Which I didn't mind. Granted none made it to go. While I was mildy disappointed, one must remember that Thai Place is a bit in the boonies. So that's a really nice option. *** NOTE: I tried three Thai restaurants while in Portland. Thai Place, Sabieng, and Pom's Thai. Pom's Thai is by far my choice if I were to revisit the Portland area. It was also the only one to have papaya salad.

Really good food! Really good price! I tried it one day because I wanted a change from Chinese food, and I was very happy with this place. The staff are polite, and quick! I got takeout on my way home from work. The woman behind the counter was wonderful!!

Super delicious Thai food. Crab rangoons were tasty. Pad Thai was very good. Thai green curry awesome. Big portions. Friendly service. What's not to love? Definitely somewhere to take out vs. eat in (there's no liquor license and you get the food in takeout containers regardless). This is our take out restaurant of choice in Windham/Raymond/Naples area. Excellent!

This is rumoured to be -- and probably is -- the best Thai restaurant north of Boston. The owner Manny and his wife serve generous portions of all the typical Thai favourites - I must have had each by now at least twice - as well as some dishes that I can't find even in Boston. If you're hung up on ambiance and décor, go to the big cities (and pay through the nose). But if you're anywhere near Windham and want the best pad thai, curry, seafood salad, dumplings, spring rolls, satay and just about any other Thai-inflected dish you can think of, this is hands-down the place to go. Factoring in the price, service, and portion sizes, this is five-star in every category.

First Thai restaurant I have ever tried. I have tried many since, none of them compare to this. Their chicken dumplings are homemade, with a "special recipe"...whatever that means, but they are AWESOME! Crab rangoons are very small, have the carrot type texture to them. Their pad thai is heaven sent. Honestly, I wish there were more places like them around. Great service. If you go in to order food, it honestly takes 5 to 8 minutes, they are focused on getting you served. SOOOO GOOD.

I never thought a Thai Restaurant could make it in Maine. Was I surprised! Food and service is outstanding. Appteziers are delious. Best for take out. I have tryed several dishes and they are all good. You get a good value and a great meal.

The food was okay, but serving people on Styrofoam plates and cups IN-HOUSE? Really? In truth, the lack of proper dishes on my table was a serious turn-off, but the Red Curry was tasty (However NOT tasty enough to consider coming back)

Aaahhh it was ok....definitely not the best I've ever had. Crab rangoons were not that good, small and mushy like...plus taste was kind of off , too sweet maybe. Pad thai was just kind of alright. The fresh spring rolls were very good. Yellow curry was good.
