The second of the two microbreweries in Orono is off to a good start. Several beers always on tap and new ones popping up randomly on the menu. The staff is always friendly and happy to see you. Some food is available. The music is 100% turntable and vinyl. How cool is that??

They are doing some great things here. Very customer focused as well with a great atmosphere in the tap room. The nitro pours are very unique. Flavor and profiles are all unique and full bodied. I live in Portland and frequent the craft breweries in this area often, but Orono Brewing has remained on the top of my recent fantastic beer experience list over the others. Can't wait to get back up.

First stop on our New England brew crawl. Only had the flight but tried all of the beers. Great stuff. The IPA was my favorite. We walked away with two small growlers. IPA for me and a summer saison for my wife. Bar tender was friendly and knew about the beer and brewing process. While not my first exposure to nitro beers, my first time seeing it in a craft brew. I like the added touch. Would definitely go back.

A small draught room, but made up for in personality by the bartender. A good selection of beers were available running from low to high alcohol and low bitters to high. Bar is copper top and small high top tables. The sample platter has five tumblers running a range of tastes. Fun. Bar hot pretzels available.
