Great Fish Market on route 1. Got a lobster roll, bag of chips, and a soda for $11. The lobster roll was on a hamburger bun with a decent amount of lobster but not overflowing. Lobster was very fresh and lightly dressed. Didn't seem to be much for sale other than lobsters, steamers, and clams. Definitely would go back when in the area.

A fantastic place to buy live fresh lobster. They do have lobster roll for sale, but they do not sell cooked whole lobsters. Bought four live lobster at $3.39/lb. Packaged on ice and checked for flight back to Washington DC. The lobster made the flight wtihout any problem. Plan to buy here again in future.

We stopped in for the first time yesterday. The place isn't grand, but they sure are polite and the food is great. We got two lobster rolls, served on hamburger rolls, and two sodas for $20. Can't beat the price. The lobster was very well dressed and there was a healthy amount of lobster for the price. Definitely worth going back. They seem to serve only live lobsters, mussels, clams and the lobster rolls but I'm not complaining. I do wish they had a place to sit outside. There seems to be plenty of room to put in a few picnic tables. Hint.

Based on other reviews I was very excited to try the lobster rolls. The lobster rolls were on hamburger buns which was disappointing to start. The meat was scarce, flavorless and without any claws or whole chunks of meat. We can honestly say that the McDonalds Lobster roll tasted better and has a lot more meat.

Stopped in after a several hour ride, after reading the reviews I expected pleasant people and a delicious lobster roll. Let me just say that I was unpleasantly surprised! Service was terrible, asking the woman behind the counter for our order apparently put her out. We ordered the one thing on the menu (which was atrociously overpriced for pre-made lobster salad) and she seemed pissed off that we were there. Then the 'lobster roll' arrived, and wow what a disappointment! Epic failure! It was as if they had taken the burger and condiments off a McDonald's burger and slapped some day or two old lobster salad on there. DO NOT WASTE your time or money on this travesty of an establishment.

Deeply Disappointed!! We were so disappointed in the Lobster Bun-yes bun, a bit larger than a slider, not Roll. Generic white bread a bit larger than a slider bun with the sparsest amount of lobster-one tablespoon- for $9.00. We waited two years for a Maine Lobster Roll and that is what we got. Never, never, ever again...

Cheapest store to buy Lobsters on route 1. Since we had a long drive ahead of us, they made sure to pack the lobsters correctly so they lasted the 5 hour trip home. The lobsters ended up being ok, I didn't really notice a difference in the quality that I get from the local markets.

Cheapest prices I found in all of Maine for live lobsters! Too bad they don't also cook it for you but at $5.79 (1 lb) and $6.29 (1-1/4) I'm not going to complain. They'll also box and ice the lobsters for transport on an airplane.

what can i say....4.75 for each lobster! whoa...amazingg...we bought 8 of these little critters and had a blast...the ones we bought were hardshelled maine lobstas. amazing store..cheapest around and yes...they tasted great! 5/5 judochops
