The food is great but they close earlier than advertised. I've tried to eat there twice this week and they closed an hour early. They shut down the sushi and the fryolator at least an hour before closing consistently.

Cancelled our order and walked out. Loud cramped dining area. Inadequate air conditioning, musty heavy air. And the dining room reeked of this overpowering flowery air freshener. This gave me a headache. We waited and waited, watress gave us water and then never came back to take a drink order. Service was slow. Their menu is this thai, japanese, chinese nonfusion thing. Its confusing and busy to look at. They are trying to offer something for everyone which makes it hard to find classics or staples of thai, chinese, or japanese. No more sushi apparently. Bathroom had no paper towels or hand dryer and the floor was all wet. Prices seem high

Great spot for take out. They even thought to make little vents in the lids. Apps were spot on: We really liked the MAINE crab Rangoon. They take crab Rangoon to the next level! The fried tofu triangles were good with a light sweet sauce and tons of finely chopped peanuts. Soup: the silver soup was nice and light with tons of fresh veggies. I like that it had a vegetable broth for us vegetarians. Dinner: vegetables with ginger and brown rice was nicely seasoned and there was so much we had a second meal the next day! Dessert: fried bananas with honey and chocolate was a nice sweet ending! You get three little bananas wrapped in a crunchy shell! Yum! What a great first experience to Biddeford Thai! We will definitely be back!

The place itself is nice, good atmosphere, and a good staff. I've been to Thai Me about 4 times total and I will say that their sushi are really good. I usually order special rolls whenever I'm in a sushi restaurant and their sushi rolls are tasty and fresh and the presentations are always nice. I can't remember the name of the rolls I ordered but I believe one of them is called spicy girl roll. Common maki rolls like california roll, spicy tuna/salmon are okay. If you want to try their sushi you should order off the special roll menu. As for appetizers and entrees, I've only had their crab rangoons and pad thai. Crab rangoons here are the best and I recommend everyone to try them. Pad thai isn't the best but it's good. Thai tea here is just right; it isn't too sweet but it's sweet enough, the perfect Summer beverage.

They no longer serve sushi. I am heartbroken. This was the best local sushi, and now the guy who makes it is gone. The online ordering system was great -- no ambiguities/room for error like when you order over the phone. The Thai food is great too but I was there for the sushi. Now I must move on, with a heavy heart.

I seem to be reviewing a lot of Asian cuisine lately. Unfortunately, Thai Me doesn't measure up to others I've reviewed. We ordered pork dumplings and shrimp shumai for apps. Neither were memorable but not bad either, with maybe a slight edge to the shumai as they were full, plump and had some decent flavor. Bonus points to the spicy dipping sauce on the side of the shumai. I have certainly had much better pork dumplings at a hundred places. The dinners failed miserably. I got the Shrimp Asparagus dish, which came in a light brown, watery sauce that resembled a puddle of driveway water, and was painfully devoid of any flavor whatsoever. The shrimp tasted a little too fishy. The tofu and the vegetables in the dish were pretty good and certainly fresh; the veggies had a nice healthy crunch, and it was a nice variety of reds, greens and more to make for a colorful appearance. My wife's Thai General Tao's chicken was dreadful. A tomatoey, ketchupy sauce with very mild heat coated the chicken like tomato paste. I think my 4 year old son could whip up a more creative sauce. Godawful. They also forgot my wife's fried rice, which didn't sit well. She wasn't a happy camper. It does have a nice interior, and the Biddeford downtown location is appealing as a setting. However, the food just doesn't make it for me. Nava Thai in Saco smokes this place. I don't see a return visit in store when I can get much better Thai closer to my house.

While the service was very good, the food was pretty "meh"... I mean, it was edible but I would probably go elsewhere for Thai food. We got the 3 course meals: The appetizers were alright. We got the steamed butterflies (4), which were a little sweet for my taste, but they basically had chicken (didn't really taste it), peanut bits, and some sweet hoisin/soy sauce. Also got the fried spring rolls (2), which were typical lumpia type rolls with a sweet and sour sauce. Soup was ok. We got vegetable silver soup (good if you just want something light with veggies) and tofu tom kha (also okay). For entrees, we got a chicken pad thai (on the sweet side) and a Thai orange chicken. They say they put ketchup in the orange chicken, and it tastes mostly like it's just fried chicken pieces that have been soaked in ketchup. The orange chicken would get 1.5 stars.. I wouldn't order it again. Everything else was about a 3.

Not great, not awful. Soups are usually fairly good. The meals actually would be great if they were not so loaded with sodium. Worth a shot. Try something and ask for your sauce on the side! The staff is awesome!

We arrived late to a concert in Old Orchard Beach and didn't have time to get dinner beforehand. After the concert, we were in search of a late night spot to feed our hungry bellies. A quick search on Yelp has us thinking Thai. We arrived at Thai Me in Biddeford, ME at 9:30. The waitress looked at us, very obviously held up her watch to check the time and told us they close at 10. We left where we weren't wanted and walked a few doors down to BeBe's Burritos. They also closed at 10, so we were unsure of the reception we would get. We were immediately warmly greeted and shown to a table. The place was nearly empty due to the late hour but the fantastic live music was still going strong. The service was prompt and courteous. We were told several times not to rush. Refreshing! So, thank you, rude waitress. We were more than satisfied with our alternative.

Favorite restaurant in the area and the best Thai food I have ever had. The owner is almost always there and personally attends to the guests to make sure that they are happy and well taken care of. The sushi is great, so are the curries, pad Thai, Thai soups and the duck dishes. This place is a hidden gem!

pretty good food, not always consistant. Some days it is out of this world and others it lacks flavor. They said the spring rolls were gluten free, turns out they were not. So if you are worried about gluten free do not attempt it. Not sure they are well informed about that.

Came in for lunch after reading yelp reviews. Service strange--things came out of order (perhaps when ready?) and some in the party waited 10 minutes for others to get their meals. Pad Thai ok. Dumplings pretty good. No sushi on Tuesday, which is posted nowhere (you just have to ask.) Overall, Thai food ok, service slow.

pad Thai was really good, waiter was very nice and seemed to have a great knowledge of the menu. me and my boyfriend were the only ones in the dining room at the time, not surprising since it was 4:30. my only complaint is that we didn't have any silverware and no one noticed so we had to take some off of another table.

My husband and I love this place! They have tasty rum punches, and a huge menu! Their service is always courteous and friendly. My favorite entree is shrimp pad Thai with vegetables. Make sure that you bring your appetite because their portions are huge!

It's not just that Thai Me proved to be the life line when after a great morning at the beach in Kennebunk we discovered that the town was pretty lifeless and largely food-less... It's not just that our curry puffs, mango fried rice and crispy tofu with assorted vegetables and basil in chili sauce tasted wonderful after a seemingly endless wait... It's just that this tiny Thai restaurant with an unimaginative name in relatively small street in Biddeford serves up really good ethnic food in an area that one hardly associates with international cuisine, let alone really delicious one at that. The menu at Thai Me is extensive, catering especially well to the vegetarian palate. Service is slow, considering there is only one person waiting the tables. The place itself is tiny and rather ordinary. But the food was great, the price very reasonable and the trip well worth the few miles of driving from Kennebunk. For anyone looking for a break from lobster and the likes, or for anyone like me that needs to look beyond typical New England cuisine, Thai Me is a perfect food stop!

Love this place best Thai food in the area. Portions are kinda small for the price but it's a minor issue at most.

Excellent Thai, love it! There Thai fried rice is excellent! There food comes out fast but it's always great! Always casual.

This is a cute little place in downtown Biddeford with really friendly service and good food. Four of us went, none of us tried anything too adventurous on the menu, and I'm going to reserve judgement on the food until I've been back a few times and some more food. I'm looking for a complexity of flavor that I haven't found yet but the basics were all very good and I'm pretty sure that I just haven't found my favorites yet. They hype the sushi but the offerings are actually quite limited. It tasted fresh and was well prepared, but all they had for raw fish was tuna and salmon. There were also sea legs and an amazing number of special maki that were made from adding avocado, cream cheese, scallions, etc. to the tuna and salmon. I think a little yellowtail, striped bass, and octopus would go a long way, but it might be too much for a small Thai restaurant to sell. Interestingly, they have Bulgogi on the menu. I give them a lot of credit for giving Korean cuisine a try and I think I'm going to enjoy watching Thai ME and seeing what they can bring to the area.

Wish I went here a long time ago! LOVE the Chicken fingers! Pad thai is okay and the steamed butterflies are delicious. It's really nice inside- the staff is always good to us. I only gave 4 stars because they have a $20 min delivery order. When I want a meal an app for one I just do takeout.

Just polished off a great Thai Take-Out New Years Eve feast from Thai ME! I'm glad they are in Biddeford! We recommend the Crab Rangoon, the Satay, the Spicy Pad Thai, the Curries, etc. Great stuff.

Not so great 2nd visit. Waitress was totally devoid of skills like hospitality, attentiveness and seemed annoyed. It didn't help that her mother was barking orders at her the entire time. My wine was really old and a new glass was offered after we complained. The food was okay but tiny portions compared to other places. Crab Rangoon was excellent as usual - I could live off those things! I couldn't help but notice two other parties seemed dissatisfied with their meals so it wasn't just us. The upside was that Main Street Biddeford has some other interesting dining options that have brought new life to this mill town. Perhaps it's the UNE influence.

Love their steamed meat dumplings and ginger sauce! Good location in downtown biddo, very friendly staff. Tried the crispy chicken pad thai, I wasn't impressed..it was average. Crab rangoons were tasty. For the area, its pretty good thai food. But certainly not comparable to other restaurants I've had thai in (mainly outside of Maine). I'd venture back to try the sushi and order the dumplings!

An extensive menu (including many healthy options and a build your own soup), reasonably priced, and fine decor. Super tasty - super good. Was surprised to find Thai this good in a small town in Maine!

Review update 8-30-15. They have changed chefs and I can no longer recommend the noodles. They have also stopped serving sushi. I don't know what happened but after eating here at least twice a month for 3 years I am changing my review from 4 stars to 2. REVIEW FROM 2012: Better than we had any right to expect, high quality food at fairly reasonable prices. I think everyone should try the crab ragoon!

Best sushi around. Low prices, great variety on the menu and the staff is very pleasant. Wonderful service, for sure one of my favorite places! Only place around that I know of to get sticky rice! Soo good!

The staff is extraordinary nice and provide amazing/fast service. The sushi is very fair price. My personal favorite is the volcano roll and for something a bit different the bakery roll will do the trick. For an appetizer you can never go wrong with their crab rangoon. The spicy pad thai is also a favorite of mine. Unlike a regular (5 star spice) pad thai where the spice comes from dry peppers and sauce the spicy pad thai has cooked peppers that bring out a good heat that is different than most thai restaurants. If you are ever in biddeford Maine and looking for some thai food be sure to stop by

The food tastes good. The service is terrible. We were just there. We sat down with two families with small kids. 20 minutes later the waitress came by to take out complete order. We never saw her again. The drinks eventually came. 1 hour later, the food still wasn't at the table. No one apologized, no one explained. We flagged someone down to ask for our food to go. They seemed upset that we'd inconvenience them. We won't go back.

One of the best places to get food that I have ever been to. The wait staff is prompt and friendly, the food is DELICIOUS, and the atmosphere is fantastic. We started eating there about a year ago and I can't get enough!

4.5 stars!!! The new management and chef really know how to deliver excellent sushi and Thai food. Portions are huge, drinks are huge, and your belly will be huge when you leave. The curry/coconut dishes are a bit rich for everyday eating. However there are plenty of options that are healthier. I thought their Penang is one of the best I've had north of Boston.

Great service. Soups were delicious. I had the spicy Pad Thai which was excellent. We enjoyed it and will be back.

The food at Thai ME is pretty solid. My fiance and I certainly enjoyed our meal - a nice break from the seafood we normally eat while at the beach house. I got the avocado curry, which was a nice take on a traditional red curry. Sam had the spicy pad thai, which certainly made his eyes water, if that says anything. Service was overall good. It took a while to get our food orders taken - not a TON of time, but more than I would have expected when there were only two other tables occupied at the time. We would definitely return again!

My wife and I had lunch there today. We had a Groupon coupon but after having the food am happy to say we will be going back and paying full price. We shared crispy vegetarian egg rolls, squash curry triangles and shrimp and asparagus tempura. Everything was delicious. The price was very reasonable without the groupon coupon but was great to have it. Go and try it out, you won't br sorry.

Absolutely fantastic food. It's too bad we live in Southern NH because I'm going to be getting cravings for the food at this place. This is seriously some of the best thai I've ever had - a real hidden gem in downtown Biddeford. The service was excellent - the waitstaff is prompt, polite, and seem genuinely happy for you to be eating there. We each enjoyed a healthy portion of chicken pad thai, tender steamed pork dumplings, a tuna appetizer, and 2 drinks apiece, all for just over $50. Amazing place, we'll be returning on our next vacation up north. What a great experience!

The owners of Thai Me work really hard to deliver a nice meal. The food is carefully prepared and presented. The sushi is always fresh and beautiful. Try the sushi carpaccio, excellent, with just enough lemon! Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is very thoughtful, nice colors, good lighting. A wonderful asset to downtown Biddeford.

Ugh. Why you so delicious? Spicy pad thai was on point. it was a good amount of spicy, but next time I might ask for just a tad bit more. i really like the burn. There isn't anything about ThaiME that I dislike. Service is wonderful. it is in such a relaxed environment. The people who work there are so friendly and easy going. The food is delicious, plating and presentation is wonderful and attractive. Portions are just enough where you're on the threshold of bursting, but a good kind of bursting. Nothing but praises coming from me.

The wait staff is amazing. Very attentive. The food was great. Wasn't expecting it in Biddeford, but it's a really amazing place with a good feel to it. The food presentation is beautiful!

This place is amazing!! Moved here from long island a little over 3 months ago, and my husband and I have eaten here at least 10 times already!!!! Delicious food, always cooked perfectly and the flavors are just unbelievable! The salmon deluxe is to die for! Drunken chicken, pad Thai, silver soup, omg I can keep going! Going to order lunch from here today now!!!

I just tried Thai ME for the first time and it I think it's a winner. I was taking out only one dish, but I had a craving for pineapple fried rice. It's something I used to get when I lived down the street from a Thai restaurant but I haven't had it in a long time. Theirs was very yummy and everything I'd hoped for- nice pieces of sliced, non-sketchy chicken, pineapple, cashews, raisins and rice. The food was cooked in just minutes and the restaurant is cute. I will definitely go back, hopefully with more people so I can try more things (like massaman)!
