Fazoli's is an Italian-American fast casual restaurant chain headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky. It was founded in 1988and is now owned by Sentinel Capital Partners. As of 2015, there are 213 Fazoli's located nationwide. The restaurant chain specializes in Italian cuisine and dishes. Carl Howard is the company's president and CEO.

My boyfriend took me to this Olive Garden venue on the night that he asked me to officially be his girlfriend. Being as I LOVE pasta, I was definitely going to be very picky. I ended up ordering the Seafood Alfredo Pasta because it has two of my loves in it: seafood and pasta. Can't go wrong with that. The food was fantastic, the service was decently speedy, and the waitress was very nice to us. I really enjoyed the ambiance as well.

I came here for lunch. I can't justify giving it 4 stars, only because it is a chain restaurant. The experience however, was even more wonderful than the food. The waiter was absolutely delightful. He was pleasant and funny and offered menu suggestions. We never had to ask for anything. He was always there to offer anything we could have wanted, but never hovered or interrupted. He provided us plenty of breadsticks and salad and make sure our drinks never went empty. He gave us grated cheese until his arm probably hurt. I apologize for not being able to recognize him by name. I ordered the chicken parmesan, which I had never tried before. The chicken was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The spaghetti was cooked perfectly al dente. The sauce was full of flavor. Event though it had large chunks of veggies, which I generally dislike, this did not take away from the dish. I also tried a bite of the lasagna, which was wonderful, with a great meat sauce and plenty of herbs. This could possibly be the only olive garden I eat at now.

I have been to Olive Garden multiple times with my family. But the last few times we have ordered take-out it has been quite unpleasant. The food was good (after we finally got it) but the service lacked quite a bit. My husband went in to pick up the order and before leaving he checked to see if we had everything we'd ordered. Checking the bag he found that the order included things we had not ordered and was missing more than half of what we did order. He went back in to fix the order and gave the woman behind the counter the food that was not ours. She then went back to the kitchen grabbed something, threw it in the bag and was done. My husband then had to tell her to look at the receipt. This happened 3 times before we actually received what we ordered. This is not the first, but second time this has happened. We will not be returning.

To start off it took about 10 min to be greeted by a server. The Caesar salad was drenched in dressing, totally in edible, the marinara on the kids meals tasted burnt (my kids are not hard to please) and the cheeseburger had absolutely no flavor..even the breadsticks could've been better!

Bullet point review: -Most INTENSE customer service ever -Spoken to by four different people including the service manager, who made a slightly insulting comment about my empty plate: She sarcastically said I clearly hated my meal, asking if I was going to "lick the plate" -I don't think she meant anything by it, but you shouldn't say it to someone you don't know, ESPECIALLY to a customer -I think there was a corporate survey going on so she must have been under a lot of pressure; all staff looked on edge -Our waitress checked in on us way more times than normal and a gentleman stopped by our table and others checking how our food was. -If they were trying to give exceptional service it had the opposite effect: I've been there before so I was not fooled by their ruse -Breadsticks continue to be the shining star of the franchise and salad is always fantastic as well -I had some zero calorie drink called Pomegranate Aqua tea that was very strong -Always a nice atmosphere -Caprese flatbread tasty; didn't realize I'd had it before -Ordered a low calorie meal, which was a relatively small order but I appreciated the offer -I ordered the Lasanga Primevera as my main meal, which I can't recall much about; I must have enjoyed it well enough to clear my plate :P -I wish I could say more, but it's been so long now since I started writing this, specifics are not clear: If I go again I'll update the review -I'm still giving this place a 5 despite the below average customer service as I've had better experiences in the past SIDE NOTE: For the first time I filed a complaint regarding the service manager's comment. I wasn't incredibly offended, but it was not appreciated. I got a $30 gift card from it, which more than made up for the mild insult. UPDATE: Having been back multiple times since this review it's clear something was going down that night; bad luck for them that was the night I picked. I love Olive Garden and this is a good one!
