So this isn't my first rodeo with long horn. I've always had amazing steak (I get the new York strip with the parmesean crust mmm). Tonight I got the same with the steak house Mac and cheese which was a pleaser. My lover on the other hand got the prime rib. She asked for this to be cooked medium rare. Now that does not mean rare it means medium rare. Which means we don't want the steak to look like it was literally just scraped off the cow. I kid you not this prime rib felt like my lovers lady bits after a long night of finger excercises if you catch my drift. It was that squishy and undercooked. Don't worry, I plan to attach a picture so you can fully experience this with me. Now don't get me wrong. The staffing was literally amazing. Our waitress was a doll and just the sweetest thing and the manager aftually ended up comping the steak for us which was really appreciated. Now once the waitress actually came back over to swap the steak for us and they recooked my lover a new one. Medium-rare is what it should have been but it came out insanely dry and more done than well done. Like so cooked I swear to god it was like they were trying to burn it up and hide the remnants. Now if you know anything about prime rib you should know it should never be cooked that way. Our friend ordered the shrimp tacos. I know it's a steak house but there was no excuse for these pathetic measly looking tacos. The tortilla was like ancient Egyptian papyrus. It turned to disgusting clay like mush in her mouth. I bet native Americans could make a clay pot out of this. I'm incredibly dissapointed in how their food turned out. But the staff like I said before was amazing and really made for the experience.

Friendly service, good food and low prices make this steakhouse a standout. With the high end steakhouse (Ruth's Chris, Morton's, Smith & Wollensky, etc.) now getting north of $50. for just an à la carte steak, a complete steak dinner for under $30. is a real find. The steak is top notch and always prepared exactly how you order it, and I'm very fussy. The sides are excellent as well, and the try the Chocolate Stampede for desert!

Longhorn is as okay as a budget steak house chain could be. The steaks are salty enough that they seem brined, salads are adequate, and potatoes tend to be drowned in butter or sour cream depending on what you order. You won't go hungry at Longhorn and you won't get sick. But if you think this is "great", you might want to visit The Steakhouse in Wells and see how it's done. I'd go back if anybody else wanted to eat there and I wasn't unhappy with my meal, but I can't get too excited about yet another chain restaurant in Biddeford Crossing, the area's epicenter of mediocre chain restaurants.

I come in once or twice a month. I'm a single diner, usually grabbing a late lunch or an early dinner around my work schedule. I am always pleased with the atmosphere here. It's laid-back enough that I feel like I'm eating in my own kitchen. But this place is definitely cleaner than my kitchen.i'm a big fan of their steaks and shrimp.Service is always been wonderful. Very friendly staff.on the occasions I've been able to bring my kiddos along they have been thrilled with the cowboy atmosphere and the good nature of the waitstaff.

Sat at the bar on March 27, 2015. Bartenders too preoccupied with take out orders and cleaning glasses and chit-chatting with each other to attend to those of us sitting at the bar. Tried to get their attention twice and was ignored. Not good.

Portions are shrinking at this restaurant and many others. Our 11 OZ rib-eyes seemed lost on the plate and were sooo thin it did not seem like you were eating at a steak house. Also, both dinners were served with cold baked potatoes. If the baked potatoes were fresh and hot, adding butter and sour cream would not cool them off, but these were too cold to even melt the butter. I'd rather see thick hearty steaks like Longhorn used to serve, at a slightly higher price, than to get a steak so thin it looks pitiful. Also, the very thin steaks were not as juicy as when they were thicker. We love Longhorn and hate to see this franchise get a bad reputation over cost cutting and portion trimming.

I'll be the first person to say that I love LongHorn. Whenever we have an extra $50 in our budget, it's the first place I want to go. This location though, was pretty bad. The staff was friendly and courteous and the manager comped my terrible food afterwards, but it still put a damper on our trip. This was the one expensive meal we chose to have, and I ended up getting my medium-rare prime rib cooked VERY rare. So, of course, my friends had to eat first while I waited for a new steak to get cooked. When it finally came out, the new steak was so well done that I genuinely feel I could have made a better one at home. It felt dusty in my mouth. As a side note, we got the fried green tomatoes and they were pretty good. They were the first I've had so I have no comparison, but they weren't much to write home about. The one great thing about them was the goat cheese. It was so smooth and delicious. The spinach dip is reminiscent of that TGI Fridays crap you get in the frozen aisle, but I really like that for some reason. Overall, I wouldn't choose to risk going to that LongHorn again. The Olive Garden in the same plaza is great.

Typical chain restaurant...get you in get you out. No local flair. We're from Georgia where LH is based so we really didn't come to OOB for steak, bbq, or grits

The food is good, but I only come in when I know Ashley is working behind the bar. She is always courteous and quick, but what is most impressive is that she takes the time to learn the customer's preferences. It is so great to go to a place where I know that I will like anything the bartender or server suggests. Ashley is also very professional with the rest of the staff (at least what I have observed) and knowledgeable about food and spirits. It is always a pleasure to dine and drink here when she is working!
