"The service is poor if you are not accompanied by a male. The food is tasteless, don't know who is in their kitchen but Mexican food is supposed to be redolent with spices, not totally tasteless. The help should watch their foul language when speaking in their native language. Some people in Maine do speak and understand Spanish." True story. Went with the parental unit, and we're freaking Latino, first and second generation (does that give me any additional cred? whatever). Food was totally lackluster, and yes, there was copious misogyny. Not cool, boo boo, not cool. I don't plan on returning.

Bad everything. The waiter didn't explain the meals ordered. The salad was hot & mushy. The manager & the waiter couldn't have cared less. This chain Restaurant hopefully is not the business model for all the locations.

Went to Casa Fiesta for the first time and was completely blown away! Amazing food, great prices and extra accommodating staff. At the time the restaurant was busy, but my bartender could easily accommodate our party of 4 while backing the bar. Very impressed, would recommend if in Biddeford area.

I honestly could not believe how awful the entrees were. The dessert and drinks were good. The entrees on the other hand. Terrible!!! I have never had Mexican food that was that awful. First of all, no real Mexican restaurant would use american cheese. The food was soggy and not appetizing at all. Both myself and my daughter barely touched our plate. The server didn't seem to care. Our bill came and it came out to $85 for a family of 4, who barely touched their food. Never again!

This was the worst mexican food I ever had. They had mexicans working there and the food still tasted really bad. The food was so bad, so bland, so mushy. These good reviews must be from people who never been to a good mexican joint. Seriously, it is worth going there just to see how bad it is.

This place has gone down hill since I have last been here. The service was not the best and worst yet the food was not good. 20 minute wait just for a beer and asked three times for kids menus.

Long time lovers of this place. We love Mexican and this place has never failed to deliver...until today. Came for a Saturday lunch with the family. There were probably about five tables with guests and three servers. They could not keep up or just didn't seem interested in working the tables today. When we came in, I wasn't even sure if they were open as there was no greeter. I finally saw a cook and asked for help. Saw one couple come in, get seated, get salsa and chips, and wait for about 20 minutes to get a server. Nobody ever appeared and they bolted. Okay, so it may have been an off day for the crew - I understand that. But the disappointment continued. Ordered the El Grande Burrito - expecting to be wowed based on what was pictured in the menu. When served, it was more like a flat tire, with little meat to be found. This was once a great place. I'm so sad to see it go downhill. People work real hard for their money and have the right to expect good things when they go out to eat. Sadly, this place is beyond its prime. I'm guessing they are skimping on staff, food quality, and portions to stay in business. Willing to bet they are out of business within the next six months.

Good drinks, the food was horrible. Lacked any flavor at all. Prices were on par with other Mexican restaurants but the food was not by any means. First and last time eating here. :-/

I can not say enough good things about this restaurant. Food is wonderful. They have gluten free food as well which is a big reason I go there. There service is wonderful and I love the atmosphere. Wonderful place for an affordable and delicious dinner.

Passing through town and in the mood for Mexican. ATMOSPHERE The environment is nice. Lots of cozy nooks hidden throughout the place. Accommodations for both large and small parties. SERVICE Went with a party of six. Upon arrival I checked in with the host and he told me it should only be about 10 minutes. We sat in the waiting area directly in front of the host station. After about 5 minutes, a different host asked if we had been helped so I told her yes. Another 10 minutes later and the same original host I spoke to asked if we were waiting to be seated! This was rather frustrating. After I told him yes (again), he was able to sit us within a few minutes. The waitstaff all have very heavy Spanish accents. To be expected in a authentic Mexican restaurant but even I had a hard time understanding them and I know some Spanish. Everyone was VERY friendly and were great with my kids, even offering my son a plate of sliced oranges because he was trying to steal the orange slice off my drink. Service was prompt and they checked back in regularly to see if you needed anything else. FOOD The fresh chips and salsa were excellent. The Margaritas were fantastic although a bit on the weak side tequila wise. Perfect mix though. Not too sweet, sour, or bitter. Very drinkable. Our meals were awesome. Very authentic and some unique dishes that you can't find at a lot of other Mexican restaurants around here. I tried a little from several dishes and they were all great. Generous sized portions. We stuffed ourselves full and still had to get a takeout container. A few people at my table also ordered desert. It was served very elegantly on large plates. Again, very big serving sizes. They said it was awesome. I was stuffed at that point so I can only take their word for it. Prices were very reasonable (including drinks). CONCLUSION I would definitely recommend this restaurant. it will be on my list to visit again when I am back in the area.

Very very good. Was very happy with this place. Wasn't sure what to expect but service was great. Used the Yelp check in to snag a free thing of cheese nachos, which were awesome! Burritos were huge and delicious. Wish I had room for dessert but not gonna happen today. Overall a great place and I'll be back.

I like it here there friendly and the food is good the only thing I don't care for is the cheese they'd use seems like that cheap American kind like McDonald uses

I didn't have a great experience here. We were the only people in the restaurant. It was about 3 in the afternoon. We were greeted with the table side guacamole cart at the door. It was covered with fruit flies. Ordered drinks around the table (some non-alcohol) loved my caronarita. We ended up getting just about every appetizer on the menu and they all tasted about the same. The meat in the taquitos tasted mushy and salty, possibly canned. Everything was smothered or at least drizzled with the queso blanco sauce even though we asked for only shredded cheese. The waiter had a hard time communicating just yeses us and would disappear. The guy even spilled a drink in the lap of one of the kids, I understand accidents happen but hr just gave her a bunch of brown paper towels and we were still charged $4.50 for it. My over all recommendation is to go for Happy hour and enjoy the chips. They were quite tasty and again, I really enjoyed my caronarita.

The service was good and everybody acted enthusiastic and happy to see us, though I was called "amigo" so many times that it started to sound like something they were told to say. Every time we needed or wanted anything, someone was right there. Unfortunately, the food was remarkably bland. The chips came with a salsa that was homogenized into a smooth sauce, and there was also another sauce that came with the chips but it seemed like a salad dressing gone wrong. My chimichangas were small and lacking in flavor. There was a cheese sauce instead of melted cheese, some watery refried beans and some rice that was pretty good. I've heard that the margaritas are good but I didn't try one. The weather was nice enough that we ate on the patio but the location is not Casa Fiesta's strong point. The patio looks out over Route 111/Alfred St., which isn't really a good thing. Trucks, motorcycles, and anything else that makes noise is right there for your dining pleasure because apparently, no one can plant a few bushes between the patio and the road. Casa Fiesta is unfortunately located inside Biddeford Crossing, a relatively new series of strip malls and chain restaurants connected by a maze of twisty roads that never seem to actually get you out of there. From the patio, you can see the local Longhorn Steakhouse and the Olive Garden is just out of sight. Of the three Mexican restaurants in Biddeford, this is the one I like the least. Los Tapatios has the food, Bebe's has the atmosphere, and Casa Fiesta isn't downtown. I like watching Biddeford's downtown now that it's going through a bit of a renaissance and by comparison, the whole strip mall thing leaves me cold. But I can't hold that against them because if I was traveling on I-95 and looking for a restaurant, this would be the most convenient. I give them two stars for the food and the view from the patio, and four stars for the friendly and quick service. This averages three stars.

If I had written this review the first time I went there it would have been 5 stars. Over the course of a year or two my wife and I and sometimes the kids would go and eat. The first time was absolutely awesome! Great service great food and the atmosphere was great. Over the course of time the food had declined but the wait staff has always been spot on throughout. The service over time got quicker but I think that is their downfall, the good doesn't taste as good as it did when they first opened. Either way still a great place to go food might be hit or miss and the wait staff is always awesome and super friendly.

I had a very good dinner at Casa Fiesta very recently. I stopped in here after spending a long day driving around the Portland area and I was hungry! I was seated at a comfortable booth in one of the dining rooms and given some complementary chips with salsa & creamy spicy dip. The chips were served warm, but very crunchy. The tomato salsa (puree texture) had a medium spicy taste and the creamy spicy dip was refreshing, sweet, and zingy. I've enjoyed a similar chips and dips combination at another Mexican restaurant (Plaza Azteca) in MA. For dinner, I ordered the Lobster Enchiladas ($11.99) served with rice, which was a very good and yummy dish. The 3 enchiladas were rolled with small bits of lobster tail meat, scallions, green onions, peppers, cilantro & spices, topped with corn salsa and queso. The Mexican rice had a soft texture. I was full (from enjoying the chips & dips) and asked for a to-go box for the rest of my dinner. No dessert for me! The service was acceptable, as the food arrived to my table in timely order. However, it took a while to receive the check since the waiters seemed steadily busy. On another note, as I was enjoying my dinner, I watched several other tables order the popular guacamole dip, which is prepared fresh to order tableside on a pushcart. The family sized guacamole dip ($7.99) looked very yummy to dip the chips in. I would definitely order the guacamole dip on my next visit, even if I'm dining solo again. (4.00/5.00)

The food was amazing, but the service was a little slow at lunch time. The salsa they serve is freshly made and amazing, and they also serve a cheese dipping sauce, which I've only seen here. The presentation of the food is good and the staff is nice. Will be visiting again in the future no doubt!

Tableside guacamole!!! Amazing. You can therefore ask for more cilantro (or less...)

Food was great. Lorena our server was outstanding. Chips and salsa are great. Much better than frescos in Sanford. I ordered a custom veggie burrito and it was very good and healthy! I wound come here again.

Great service, terrible food. Enchiladas were made with what seemed like melted Kraft American cheese. The sauce on my burrito was reminiscent of Chef Boyardee ravioli sauce. The chicken was tough and seemed old. Overall, the quality of ingredients was subpar. If you know anything about authentic Mexican food, you would never step foot in this restaurant.

Absolutely Delicious food. Table side guacamole was to die for. Fabulous service. I wish we lived closer, this would definitely be a regular spot for us! The shrimp quesadilla was small but perfect, lots of grilled shrimp perfectly cooked. Salsa and warm tortilla chips to start, it reminded me of my many trips to Cancun. Clean and friendly and awesome food!

My friend ordered the lobster quesedilla and she gave me a bite. YUMMY. I got chile relleno & a tamale w/ beans & rice. EXCELLENT. Chips & salsa & sauce were good. Got a sopatilla for desert which was ok. Service was wonderful. Servers all spoke spanish so I got to practice the few words I know.

Food is typical of any chain restaurant. The best thing is the fresh guacamole they make table-side. You control the ingredients as they make it right in front of you. Other than that it's mediocre.

We had a Living Social coupon to use and arrived 4 minutes after five because of a traffic tie up. we told the person at the door who told the manager. He informed us we had to come back another day that they could not serve us even though it was only 4 minutes after five. Very disappointing treatment.

I didn't understand the review that said the service was poor "if you are not accompanied by a male". I do now !!! The server was CREEPY !!!! We left immediately ! Felt like we needed a shower, I'm sure if we could understand spanish, we would have been even more creeped-out. Can't review the food, COULDN'T stay to find out. YUCK !!! NEVER AGAIN !

Stopped here on the drive back to Boston. Great service, free chips and salsa, free refills, yummy veggie fajitas, good combos, good sized meals. Couldn't have done anything better .

Went here for lunch the other day with a group, this place is cool, great chips and salsa. Quick service.....good food and good prices what's not to like!

Just okay. The Service experience was odd. Sprinting and hurrying to start, to later disappear. Warm chips were okay, salsa was blah and entree was the same "old" American-Mexican take on things that have been done a billion times before. Restaurant layout is pretty good, with a fair amount of Mexican Cantina flair. I'll go back just for the basics.

What a difference from my first visit... My gripe is with the service. I speak spanish fluently, and I definitely heard some inappropriate conversations from the staff. We were waiting for a long time..to get menus, my husband asked 3 times for a drink before just giving up and sharing with me. Wait was the word if the day, and the sideshow service was not worth it.

My son brought me here to eat after reading great reviews for the guacamole. To our disappointment they were out of the guacamole and what we ordered off the vegetarian menu was really awful! Sorry, but what ever that sauce is that was all over our meal was gross and there was nothing special about the burrito or enchilada. We couldn't even eat it and that's a first for me. Wished we had just gone to Taco Bell and that's a yuk too. We did like the atmosphere and the wait staff to be fair. Maybe if you eat meat it's a little different but I would say go to Bebe's Burritos and be happier with your meal.

Great family eatery. The free chips and salsa were a plus. The prices were in line with the amount of food served. The waiters and staff were friendly and accommodating.

I thought this place was very good. It came highly recommended by friends and they seem to have worked out any kinks they may have had from opening. Our food was excellent- try the steak faitas! Our service was just as good, everyone was very attentive and the manager stopped by to check on our experience, he also gave us military discount with my husband showing his ID. We were offered fresh guacamole when we sat. Overall I think it is a great addition to the biddeford area!

Nice place. Food was good all around. 10 of us all hapy with our meals. Great guacamole, nice big beer. Could do without the television in the eating area, who wants to watch tv at a nice place?? Will go back again for sure.

This is for the biddeford location: Our family has eaten there 3 times the first month it was open. The food was brought quickly, prices are good, staff is still learning but they are willing to bend over backwards to make sure you are taken care of. the food presentation was impressive. I hope they keep up the excellent quality of food. this will be a family favorite. I think it is sad that some of the bad reviews compared this to tex mex places. This isn't tex mex. There is lots of room at the booths and the atmosphere is very pleasant.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
