This Starbucks is on my route to/from work, and is close enough to hit up during my lunch break, but I avoid it at all cost. The parking lot is a nightmare. While it's great that they have a drive-thru, it's basically useless since it takes nearly 30 minutes to get through it. Also, once you're in line, there's no way to jump ship when the service is slower than normal. Today, on the verge of a mirgraine from grading essays all day, and desperately in need of caffeine, I decided to brave the slow service and grab a Caramel Macchiato on my way home. I was hoping that since the college students were gone for the summer, this location wouldn't be as crowded as normal and I might be able to get in and out within a reasonable amount of time. I was only half right. Place was dead, five people working, and it still took 25 minutes for me to get my drink. (15 minutes for them to make something not even close to what I ordered, and another 10 for it to be fixed.) Don't waste your time. Drive down the street or go into the mall and get your drink at a Starbucks that actually knows how to treat their customers and make drinks in a timely fashion.

I do not need coffee. I doesn't wake me up. But mentally I feel like it gives me an extra push. I live on the same street and work on the same street of this Starbucks. I could walk there I love that close. Lets admit I would never walk there but that's how close I live. One time I got there at 2:30 pm before I had to be at work by 3. I didn't leave that drive-thru until 2:55 pm. I felt trapped. I almost called 911 lmao. The employees thing this is a game. This is really life I have a real job with benefits. I do not understand why management thinks its okay.

Service is pretty good, the drive thru was poorly designed. 9 out of 10 times they get my drink right which is so frustrating because I order the same drink every time!

Slow. Slow .. Slow ... Slow .............. I don't understand how a national chain can be so slow. Expect to wait a upwards of a half hour at drive in- it is like they prepare drink when you pull up- not order. I dread every time I go here but it is close to work.

Ugh. Very poor management here. It is obvious that the employees are not very well trained at this location. Slow service. Too much chatting and not enough working. The ladies bathroom is disgusting - take a look at the photo I took. No toilet paper and refuse all over the place. Obviously too much chatting and not enough working.

Cute Starbucks with a wrap-around parking lot and a drive through. Be warned that the drive through tends to back up through the parking lot, which may cause challenges when you'd like to leave. Inside is quite loud with steaming espresso and other noise. Otherwise, it's the same as any other Starbucks I've been to.

Worst service ever for a Starbucks. The cashiers were chatting up their friend and ignored customers. Waited 5 minutes behind their friend before walking out. The entire crew was involved and didn't care about any other customers. Find another spot for your coffee as this Starbucks has terrible customer service - unless your a friend of the crew.

Terrible, terrible service/management. I consistently sit in the drive-thru for over 10 minutes each time (the last time was 18 minutes). When I told the manager (Dashaun) I wanted to express my frustration with nothing in return, I told him I live across the street but probably won't ever return because of the poor service and slow drive- thru, Dashaun replied "OK, fine!". Thank you for making my decision easy. Starbucks? More like Starsucks...

This standalone location is pretty cool, with a up to date interior, super clean exterior and a drive-thru which makes ordering easy at all times. My only gripe i have had here is that i end up ordering my coffee black often, told them i wanted that way ; has resulted in a coffee overly sugared and black. But outside of that one instance the customer service is awesome .

The wifi at this Starbucks is almost useless. C'mon!

Everyone who works there is so very friendly. They go out of their way to try to memorize your drink if you are a "regular". The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because the parking lot is really poorly configured - but they did recently add designated customer parking spaces in the vacant lot next door. For work or just a quick caffeine fix - def a great location.

Starbucks. Fast, friendly service? Check. Ambiance that makes you want to linger? Check. Hipster tunes? Check. Decent Starbucks, the store is somewhat narrow, stool/counter seating by front window, a few little tables in the back. Lots of regulars. Parking is in the shopping center lot. Not quite as good as the Northridge York location, but up to standards for sure.

The phone number (410) 825-1097 does not work. They never have Pumpkin Spice Lattes.... BUT they are the only drive-thru remotely close to Towson.

Come on guys! everyone knows about Starbucks when your feeling a little sluggish in the morning and you need a quick "picker upper" well you've landed at the right place. Add a double shot expresso to your coffee, and your off to the races (literally..lol). The drive thru is crappy and it's forever crowded and it's located near Towson State University (lots of student traffic)..what else can I say it's Starbucks..

This is a tough review to write because I'm not sure the results matter. Nestled on the western corner of Towson University's campus, a few hungover stumbles from actual dorms, this Starbucks is always busy during peak intervals (morning commute, lunch time, etc.). An executive won't see a "2-Star Rating" on the balance sheet, just profits and growth. They'd be tempted to shrug their shoulders and rely on "If it ain't broke, don't break it." The location is killer. For Starbucks. Here are the issues based on my experiences: - Parking lot is like playing Tetris with Lincoln Continentals. Everyone loses. Soccer moms lose their shhhhhh..... - Drive-Thru moves like the car in front of you stalled. This is pretty consistent. Not sure why. I've been tempted to get out of my car and order inside, while in line, just to see if I can return to my car before the line moves. - Worlds collide! Drive-Thru backs up into the parking lot, creating a symphony of aggravation that inspires the deepest coffee addict to skip the trip. - Sloppy order results. I've come here 8 times in the past 3 months (location), and the order is wrong half of the time. It doesn't matter how simple it is. If I say "Cake" there's a 50% chance hey hand me "Broccoli" when I get to the window. Things I Like: - It's close to my house. - When made properly, it's Starbucks. So, there's not much they can do about the parking lot. It is what it is. But if the employees were trained better, or if the number of workers during peak times were greater, the clog in the Drive-Thru would be less. That's just everything when you're pressed for time and want something quick.

Great larger standalone starbucks location. Fast service, friendly staff. Only complaint is that it's impossible to turn into if you're going east or west on burke or north on york, the only entrance is Southbound on york.

Lightning-fast service by super-friendly staff. Good ambiance and a great place to study or meet for coffee. Wifi's not spectacular but that's about my only issue.

It's difficult to be impartial when discussing Starbucks! The name is so polorizing. True coffee lovers, people who really know and love coffee, who believe, correctly or not that Italy is the only country in the world where you can't get a bad cup. Who only buy their beans at LeColombe or Zeke's or have them Fed-Xed from David Schermer in Seattle, who have a definite ratio in their heads of what % robusto and what % arabica makes the best brew. These people hate Starbucks. They vilify their "baristas", they rail against their penchant for over roasting, their fascination for stupid names, their insane list of combinations and their have-a-nice-day-robotic-Stepford staff. A few of us are thankful that Starbucks, regardless of how they did it, raised the bar on coffee excellence in this country. No one can deny that before them, 98% of the coffee served in America was swill. Now, as a direct result of the marketing juggernaut they have become, even McDonald's serves coffee that is better than good restaurants served less than 15 years ago. OK, they still have to work on getting rid of the flavors, but it's a valid point. For the serious coffee lovers among us of us, we don't have to go to a Starbucks so long as we can get a great cup at Panera's or a Zeke's brew at The Falls and a few others that I know when I drive by. But in a pinch, with my daily schedule sometime denying me access to these quality coffees, I get a short one at the local SB fully understanding that the good houses only got pinched into action by that audacious company out of Seattle. Love them or hate them, we, the lovers of good coffee have benefited tremendously by them.

I love this place! The location is ideal to Towson University and always service with a smile! Also they offer great patio seating that's shaded. However it can get really busy but not overwhelming.

This is the only Starbucks I've seen with a drive through. I'm a Starbucks fanatic and I can find a Starbucks no matter where I go and I have 5 within a 15 min drive which I love and this one is the furthest but it's also my favorite. I choose this one cause 8 times outta 10 my drink is PERFECT!!!! The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because it's almost always full no matter the time of day you go and knowing that this Starbucks is always full they seem to be SLOW. What bothers me most is it seems like there's almost always 5 or more people working but there are always only 3 people behind the counter(maybe 2 sometimes). One store register, one drive thru register and one person making drinks.WHY???? I'm serious why??? There should definitely be at least two people making drinks no matter what but they chose not to do that, in return we have to wait 15-20 minutes for a drink which is a bit ridiculous!!!!

Takes way too long to get service, this is the WORST starbucks location for coffee. The small space is not able to handle the drive thru cars & back ups are a regular thing. More than once I have made the mistake of going inside only to be completely ignored by the staff during a slow period where they were more interested in chatting with each other than doing their jobs. I only go here because it's close to Towson or else I would never return. Drive thru takes 20-30 min just for coffee! Avoid!

When you walk into Starbucks you usually know what to expect. For the most part good/average service. I was surprised that at this location the cashier did her job fine but the person making the drink spilled the drink all over the side of the cup did not even bother to wipe it off. All the napkin holders were empty. The employees were having conversations of their own while customers were waiting to be helped. The worst part, she didn't even call my name or say what drink it was. Just put the sticky, wet cup on the counter and a few of us customers wondered who's it was. Anyway, three stars bc at least the store was clean and the cashier was nice.

I frequent Starbucks and I was very disappointed by how slow the drive thru line was at this location. Staff was very nice.

I use the drive thru at this location at least once a week. Normally the service is efficient and the staff is friendly. However, today I waited for over half an hour for my coffee when only 5 cars were ahead of me. When I mentioned this to the girl at the window, another staffer came to the window and told me where I could take my complaint. I don't need abuse with my coffee, so I will indeed take my business elsewhere.
