When it comes to Starbucks we all expect a certain level of quality and service, that's the only benefit of visiting a chain store. Unfortunately here the staff falls short of those expectations. Notably the manager is rude and obnoxious. I can go somewhere else, literally anywhere else and get a better cup of coffee with exponentially better service. Coffee is ok, so three stars. I'll change this review upon a better experience. Thanks.

Not a cozy Starbucks and rather cramped. No comfy chairs or couches and limited seating in general. If you are trying to work on your laptop, you will have to score one of two spots next to the wall. They do have one long table in the middle that would be good if you needed someplace to hold an impromptu meeting. Morning rush is no joke but the line moves quickly. The staff is speedy and friendly. I witnessed one of the rudest customers in my life today and was freaking amazed at the baristas' ability to keep their cool and maintain grace in the face of such a horrible person. I seriously thought I was on What Would You Do for a minute....kudos to them.

The service I received in the Dulaney Valley store in Towson, MD was not only poor but the barista didn't know what I was asking for. I asked for a decaf chai and she said she couldn't give me shots. I asked did the chai not come as decaf and she didn't know what I was talking about. I ordered my drink as iced chai with soy. When I received my chai it had milk in it. I asked her was it soy she said yes. I have a severe milk allergy and I know the color and the difference since I order the same drink often as a gold card member. I had to pour the drink out because I felt the barista had an attitude and they were too busy cleaning up but not willing to make sure I was happy with my drink. Turned off. I will not be back to that store. And I want my $3.45 back.

Love this little place! Cramped, yes, but my drink is perfect every time. I get Frappacinos and lattes and perfect jobs from all baristas. Everyone is so nice, customers (most of the time) and baristas (always). I love to come here cause it's so close to where I live and even during the super busy morning time the line rolls along.

Starbucks are often fairly similar. This one has very few seats, I guess it isn't meant for a hangout but it is very nice to have within walking distance from my apartment. They are super efficient in the AM when I am most in need of their services. Very nice baristas are patient with the not-so-savvy drink order-ers (I hate when they are snippy!)

This place is good most of the time. However the parking lot is small and in the winter there is nowhere near enough seating inside. Tge waiting area is cramped and makes it hard to get your drink and get out. Good for a fix, but not the best place to hang out.

Their Frappuccinos are terrible. I've gotten the Java Chip, Mocha Chip and recently the French Vanilla. Every time the mixture and blend has been off. I thought perhaps it might only be the fraps that required a few extra ingredients, but that doesn't seem to be the case. They can't even get the French Vanilla right. Waaaay too much vanilla syrup. My experience with the Java Chip and Mocha Chip were that they did not blend the fraps well. They were separated and runny from the frozen portion. They also were given too much and in the case of the Mocha Chip too little of the ingredients that make a proper tasting Starbucks frap. I frequent many Starbucks throughout MD, PA and VA and I typically get Frappuccinos. I've never had ones that were made so poorly and incorrect as I have at this location. My boyfriend is not a frap drinker and prefers coffee. He always gets the Pike Place. He ordered that the last time we went into this location and said it was awful. The blend was completely off. Not sure how they can mess up standard recipes that all Starbucks follow by, but somehow they manage to pull it off every time in my experience. It seems to me that these employee's need to go through training again on how to prepare the beverages. Perhaps the management at this location should be looked into to start.
