I love these Italian subs! Yes, I know they call them Hoagie's but I just can't... That seems unnatural to me so I stick with sub :-) I usually order the mild Italian, because I love sweet peppers. The subs don't disappoint. They have great flavor and good quality meat. They don't have the breadth of selection that some other places offer, but what they do, they do well.

So nice to walk into a place and have 2-5 people holler HI! WELCOME TO PRIMOS! Super friendly staff, spotless clean, the best subs, made fresh and exactly how you order them. Get the Primo size, you won't be sorry!

This is the best place in Salisbury to get a sub. The quality of ingredients as well as the quantity makes Primo the top sandwich shop around. When you open up your sub and see slices of fresh mozzarella, you know you're in for a treat. The bread encasing these masterpieces is perfect. Now for the meat. Fresh, plentiful, seasoned well, and adjectives just don't do it justice. The menu is also diverse. Even the most finicky of consumers will find something to their liking. Fresh side orders made daily are right beside you as you walk through the door including marinated cheese, pepper shooters, rice pudding, tortellini, etc. I've never been here without the staff being attentive, friendly, and enjoying what they do. The only reason not to come here is if they aren't open.

Come hungry! These are the best hoagies and subs in the 'bury. The rolls are authentic, fresh and almost better than what goes into it. This is civilization for any previous city dweller. This is what we fueled ourselves on in college. This ain't diet food, this is soul food!

Hands down the best hoagie you will ever experience. Primo Hoagies will you inspire you to restore your faith in the ability of one person to make a tasty, tasty hoagie in these increasingly maddening and dispiriting times of subway and jersey mikes.

The meat is great, plenty of variety, but would it kill them to have a bread available WITHOUT sesame seeds? Sesame does not go with every flavor combination! Quite frankly it tastes terrible with the Ruben. Which has an amazing coleslaw, but those seeds are terrible.

This place is nice and the food is good. I just hate the inconsistencies with the amount of meat on the sandwiches from one day to the next.

Super friendly staff, INCREDIBLY FRESH ingredients, and that bread....omg these subs may seem a bit pricey but THEY ARE WORTH MUCH MORE. And unless your hardcore get the Primo size, cuz the large is like 2 larges anywhere else. No place anywhere close competes with primo for cold cuts

The food here is good. Fresh ingredients and excellent bread. The service is hit or miss. I don't think I have ever seen the same people behind the counter. It seems like employee turnover is high... never a good thing for a restaurant. The consistencies of the subs leave something to be desired. I have ordered a half dozen or so Italian subs from here and they are never the same in regards to amount of meat... cheese and veggies. It's a crapshoot what you are going to get. The subs are a bit on the expensive side... and depending on what kind of sub you get that day.. they are NOT always a good value for what you pay. For $10 a large sub, I expect a consistent, loaded sandwich. You do not always get that at this Primo's . Call in your order ahead of time , also. Sometimes you will wait at least 15 minutes on your food being made. If you have never had Primo's , give it a shot. But don't expect the same sandwich the next time you go back. If you are new to Salisbury, try Devage's subs near the city park, or Red Door sub shop. Jersey Mike's just opened on the South Side of town, also.

In this day and age of franchise garbage resembling food, Primo is an exception to the rule. I rarely purchase food at a franchise and was reluctant to try Primo but its menu enticed me. Sure enough, with limited exceptions, Primo's subs are very good. Decent meats, cheeses, and toppings are meaningless if the bread is tasteless, and Primo takes pride in its sub rolls. I'm not exactly sure how they do it but I've seen delivery boxes with the name of a bakery in Philly. I don't know how often they take a delivery but the rolls always seem fresh. Beyond that, the meats, cheeses, and toppings are good quality although sometimes I wish the subs were packed a little more. All in all, Primo is a good choice for a decent sub. Is it going to make you forget Tony Luke's? Of course not but for me it's easier on the gas tank.

I have been waiting ten years for someone to bring the Italian hoagie to Salisbury. Primo, you've done it !! Subs are made fresh, meaning meats are cut at the time of order. Rolls are crusty. If you're looking for an excellent hoagie, go to Primo's, you won't be disappointed.
