We only came here for the AYCE Sushi for lunch. As I've never had any good Japanese steakhouse hibachi anywhere, we opted to pass on that. We wanted to compare it to Sakura's AYCE Sushi across the street, and after the meal, I will be sticking with Sakura. The cost for lunch was like a $1 more, which is not a big deal, but it does put Sakura further ahead as for a dollar less they had more items to choose from. And for Dinner, it doesn't even compare, East Moon had 3 additional roll choices from the lunch menu and for that it went from $15.95 to $21.95 for dinner. Sakura's dinner menu doubles from their lunch offerings and it also includes Nigiri not just Maki rolls. East Moon does not offer Nigiri on their AYCE Sushi dinner menu. The miso was very thin and bland, though the pork gyoza was decent. What sushi rolls we did have was okay at best. Though made to order, the rice was already a bit hard and crusty, and the quality of the fish left a lot to be desired. The service was okay, there were times I had to search for my server even though we were one of 3 tables in the whole place. The venue itself was humongous, the bar is also huge, there is a separate dining room for the hibachi and a separate one for the rest. It could use some decent lighting as it was dark even during the day, what with all the dark furniture. Also, to the proprietor/managers of the place- please either get real plants/flowers or just do without, but either way please know that the large branches on the table scape does nothing for the decor. They just look a bit sad and dusty. On the plus side, they had real napkins and not the terrible non-absorbing polyester either! But do I love the napkins enough to come back again? Sadly, I don't think so.

Very fancy interior, bland food overpriced and poor service. We ordered the hibachi shrimp and steak combo and the chicken and scalp combo. The chicken was overcooked and flavorless. We were very dissapointed with the food and service. Compared to other japonese steak houses in the area this one is sub par. We will not be eating here again.

Our party of 8 had a great time and delicious meal. Hibachi chef kept all ages entertained. Our server checked in frequently. Meals were prepared just as we wanted. We will be going back!

This place is surprisingly good. Love the decor and the food has always been very good. We normally sit at the bar and get three sushi rolls for 12.99. This is very filling and a better deal than the all you can eat sushi. Bartender is friendly and welcoming.

The hostess was rude when we walked in and instead of saying "How Many in your party tonight?" Stated "Can I help you?" . The food was very blah and overpriced.. The hibachi had zero flavor and came out cold. The service was mediocre at best. Over all not a fan of this place.

Went there with friends and family.(party of six)and choose hibachi menu for six different items.Service was good .Food was fresh but had no taste .All items (poultry,beef,veggies &seafood)were made on grill with same seasoning and sauce .final product came out with same taste and no flavor.Over priced menu.

Decor is very upscale. Plenty of seating in restaurant area including booths. Typical Chinese food type menu. Bento Box entrees are very good. Have sushi and sashimi. Very fresh and nice presentation. Bar area is comfortable. TV'S located on wall of bar. Service was good and quick. Teppenaki area was awesome. Food was very good. Reasonably priced. Glad to see them on the South Side of Salisbury

This was the best food I have ever had at a hibachi grill restaurant. I find that places like this usually dry out the food. This place cooked everything perfectly. We had shrimp, chicken, mussels, steak. All were tasty and not dry. Service was not great. Server was a little slow mentally and physically. The cooks give the same typical little show. I would highly recommend.

I was very surprised by how lovely this place was when we walked through the doors - the interior is really very nice and the place is HUGE. We opted not to sit in the hibachi section, as we were not planning on ordering hibachi and instead were seated in a booth near the sushi bar. The sushi we ordered was tasty, and they have some unique roll options I haven't seen in other Salisbury restaurants, and was on par price wise for the area. I love the sushi bento box option they offer - two rolls and two appetizer choices, plus salad and soup. My husband opted for hibachi and said that it was bland and had very little flavor. Our daughter also got the hibachi, and at 8, she said it was fine - but she also eats Uncrustables so consider the source. In general, I found some of their prices to be a bit high. We will likely go back, if only for the sushi.

This place was actually decent. Really 3.5 stars. The interior is really nice - especially for Salisbury. Had the hibachi, which wasn't the best, but it was decent. I think the steak and chicken was around $18, which for the area might be a little pricey, but for a nice hibachi place it is worth it. The chefs there do the typical cool tricks while cooking. The place is Chinese owned however, but it seems to be pretty authentic Japanese hibachi. I don't think I saw one Japanese chef there - they were pretty much all chinese. Same for the wait staff - a mix of chinese and local white people.

3.5-4 pretty good hibachi but I agree a little bland without using provided ginger sauce. Miso soup and ginger salad dressing were great. Table service was good, didn't sit at hibachi table since I was solo. But they seemed to have the usual tricks. ;-)

Solid Japanese food. I had the Tempura Soba and Rainbow Roll. Beautifully presented, fresh, and delicious. Wish the sushi descriptions were a bit clearer.
