I usually don't get too excited for wings but these had to be the plumpest, most juicy and delicious boneless wings I've ever had I also had an order of cheese fries. I don't know if they were small or large but they were definitely enough for two people to share. I thought prices were fair for the amount of food we got. This place should put Buffalo Wild Wings to shame! 5 stars for good quality wings and customer service.

Wings - cooked regular - alone are perfectly cooked. Not too crispy, they have good portions of meat on them, and the wings are nice and juicy. The fries are pretty damn good, but a little sweet for my taste. You get a large portion of side of fries. The buns are okay. They weren't warm when they came out but that might be the way they serve them. Flavors: They offer a small variety of flavors. From the small list, I am surprised they don't have better flavors. From my visit I got the 50 wings with 4 flavors. The flavors were: Lemon Pepper, Mango Habanero, Hawaiian, and Teriyaki. I think my favorite flavor was lemon pepper. The teriyaki needed a little more sweetness. Teriyaki usually has sugar and honey, but I didn't taste that in the teriyaki. The mango habanero was good, nothing praise worthy about it, but I won't mind getting it again because MANGO. The Hawaiian was alright. I could definitely taste the pineapple but nothing praise worthy as well. All in all, the wings themselves are great! Flavors, are meh.

I try not to eat here too often, but cheat days are necessary. The fries are consistently amazing & the wings are pretty good. The lousiana rub is the best, followed by hot or garlic parmesan. Yum. Wayyyy better than BWW in my opinion. The service is absurdly friendly- the cashier bought me and my buddy beers after he saw us eyeing the big selection they have.

A small, friendly place tucked in a nice suburban shopping area. The people couldn't be friendlier, and the wings couldn't be...smaller. I ordered a 10-piece combo to go, all drums, no flats. They were happy to oblige, and I'm glad they did, because these drums were so small that each drum had less meat on it than a typical flat. These were the scrawniest, most underfed chickens in Maryland - a state known for its chickens. Celery and carrots were fine. Blue cheese was thin salad dressing. Fries were generous, but the limp, soggy type (think Five Guys, but skinnier). Original hot is a fine recipe, it just needs a bigger target.

This was our first time to wing stop and I am pretty sure our last. We had buffalo wings and mango habanero wings. I did not like the mango wings, but of course it's just personal taste buds, however my complaint comes in with the buffalo wings, see I like my buffalo wings as traditional as possible when you think of buffalo wings you think of a deep fried wing, with a vinegary spicy sauce to it that is orange in color, the kind that makes the sides of your mouth water. I don't understand why some restaurants take this red colored sauce, that has that sweet flavor to it and try to pass it off as a buffalo wings, that is not a buffalo wing. Also I asked for extra sauce because I like my wings smothered in sauce these were the driest wings I have ever had, I am hoping that someone forgot I said extra sauce. The most disappointing part of it all was the feathers. Someone does not clean the chicken well, my wings had feathers all up and down the sides sooooo gross!

I have no idea what the hype is about Wing Stop. I definitely have had better wings in my lifetime, but their prices are better than most other wing places. My significant other and I ordered cajun, teriyaki, and hot wings off the menu as well as some fries with veggies (celery/carrots) served with ranch for $20. The cajun wings were not very tasty at all. I ate them first just to get rid of them. Probably won't be ordering those again. The hot wings tasted like the tabasco hot sauce. Very funky tasty in my opinion and not spicy. The teriyaki wings were actually quite alright. The fries were kind of salty, but they give you quite a lump sum. I couldn't even finish the basket of fries.. so many! So my wings experience wasn't all that great, but maybe I'll come back to give the other wing sauces a try.

I will be honest, I love wingstop compared to BWW. It is so much better and bigger wings for the price. The atmosphere reminds me of like street food and really casual. I did not get a chance to talk to the staff that much but they seemed really friendly. I wish there was a Wingstop closer to my house, but I love it. The best flavors are Cajun and the lemon pepper. The fries are delicious and you can get them with honey mustard instead of ranch if you don't really eat spicy food.

Let me start off with saying that i like wingstop better than bww because the chicken wings seem fresher and bigger. i like the way their sauces taste but bww does have more of a variety. I've always favorited wingstop more but id still go to bww. anyway, i usually get garlic Parmesan and lemon pepper wings with fries, some people don't like their fries because of the sweet seasoning to it but i think it's delicioussss! i always ask to make my wings just a bit more extra crispy because i think it taste better. the service is always great (atleast when i go which i appreciate) and they're so helpful if you've never been here before. i definitely recommend it and always come back craving for more. ALTHOUGH, I'm only giving them 4 stars because one of the men took out the trash and on the way in he knocked over my boyfriends chair and didn't even apologize or pick it up, i thought that was very rude and not great service. at least say sorry.

I haven't been here since their grand opening when fallsgrove was becoming established and at that time, service was not good, the wings were tiny, and business was terrible. NOW, this place has made a complete 180. I must say the service is noticeably excellent considering its a buffalo wing restaurant. The order takers are very friendly explaining the spicy levels of the sauces and give out good recommendations. For the food. I must say they are almost on par with Cluck-U Chicken at College Park with one exception: they chicken is bigger and the wings are juicier! I still prefer the flavors at Cluck-U because they had a good combination of spice and sweet but WingStop is not doubt the best place to get wings in the Gaithersburg/Potomac area for the price. Someone mention Buffalo Wild Wings but I see how they differ as Wing Stop is more for the food and BWW is more for the atmosphere and the price on large orders of wings. I would give it a 4.5 for long time it takes for the food to come out but perfection takes time! There service still makes up for it. Now if they only had some Honey Bee's and celery sticks with all their orders...

Fantastic food and service. We had a dairy allergy in our group and Shaun helped us confirm which wings were safe. Highly recommend stopping at this wing joint! Ask for Shaun if you need help with allergy questions!

The first time i went to wingstop was at the goshen location and the service was great and i fell in love with the food. I told my family about the place so we came here because there is little seating at the goshen location. We were very satisfied with the above average service at both locations. My family and i are now regulars here and we come in as often as we can. The staff is always friendly no matter who is working behind the counter. The food is always fresh, my favorite is the boneless wings with bbq, every one likes the cajun wings as well.

First time experience was awful got the wrong order and so did 2 other people and the wings wasnt anything special

This is my favorite Wingstop location. The only other Wingstop I've ever been to is the one located in Gaithersburg on Goshen Rd. I prefer this Wingstop because the Customer service is always on point. Not only that but the restaurant itself is a lot bigger. I've pretty much tried all the flavors: original hot, lemon pepper, hickory smoked BBQ, Hawaiian, Cajun, mango habanero, and Louisiana rub. Mango habanero is my favorite flavor here. Spicy with just enough sweetness to balance it out. Their fries have a special seasoning they put on it where it's semi sweet and salty. They can be a little on the soggy side but just ask them to make it crispier than usual and you'll be good to go!

  • Chris M.

We went here and got...yup, the wings. Pretty good. Not my absolute favorite wings, but they fit the bill. 4 stars - service was ok, wings were pretty good. Fine overall, but I wouldn't make a special trip to get here. Just my take, perhaps you'll think differently.

Buffalo wings are my favorite food because of wingstop. The staff is super friendly, the wings are delicious, and they have some of the best fries I have ever had. Try out the Louisiana Rub, Garlic Parmesan and Mango Habanero wings. Better than bww and any wing places around!

Cant wait till one comes to FTSQ Hopefully by 2016 I can just walk around the corner for cheat meals and get some of that lemon pepper deliciousness. It is very bad for me and unhealthy but so frikin delicious.

  • Nathan G.

Definitely deserving of the praise here. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon, and not only was the chicken great, but we also got more pieces that we paid for on both orders. The staff was friendly, and they cooked everything to order so it was fresh. I wish there was one closer to where I live.

if you're looking for healthy food don't come here. if you're looking for flavorful filling chicken and fantastic fries DO come here. friendly staff. for a wings place there's good variety. if you order the yeast rolls ask for butter on the side or they will be drowning.

Wow. This was an awesome experience. The BBQ wings with blue cheese dressing was just perfect. But the BBQ beans pushed me to the five-star rating!!!

Buffalo Wild Wings ain't got nothin' on Wingstop. At this location, you'll always find amazing wings done to perfection. I love the lemon & pepper--so crunchy! and the original hot. Not as much a fan of the really saucy ones like the Hawaiian variety. Careful--the Cajun wings are SUPER hot! I know people who worship Wingstop fries, but I just can't get behind the sweet seasoning that they put on it. Unlike other wing places, the carrots and celery are always juicy and crisp. For a wings place, Wingstop is A-plus. Staff was personable and nice.

One word. Brian. This guy is the epitome of a manager. He is so friendly, never gives customers a hard time, his employees seem to like him and every time he is working my order is exactly as asked and he is always friendly and making you laugh to pass the time. If he thinks you might like something, he suggests it or let's you try it. He Is the whole reason why when I want wings I go here... The good is always on point. Flavored and selection is good and atmosphere is perfect for what they have there. Exactly what you want when you crave wings. Excellent service, great food and easy wait.

One of my favorite places to go to...when I am feeling lazy and do not wish to cook! The children are lover's of Wingstop and the many flavors to choose from!

Our son introduced us to Wingstop and we always have a great time there (haha). Made to order so everything is hot and fresh. It is impossible to eat all the fries that come with a combo but my kids help polish them off. Always helpful staff.

Bought a twenty pack for a family meal. About half the pieces were so small that they were nothing but skin and gristle. Very surprised because wings purchased on two previous occasions were great.

  • Eddie K.

The wings here are pretty good. I usually come here during lunch which can get really busy. You have to come before noon to beat the rush and avoid the crazy parking in Fallsgrove. We usually get 20 wings with original hot and garlic parmesan sauce. 20 wings are $13.79. It comes with 2 blue cheese dipping sauce. Wings always come out hot and crispy.

    (4)
  • Eunice K.

if you have lots of time then go and order but if not you can always order online. seems to be pretty busy. ive been here 3 times and every time theres a crowd or line or people waiting for their food. the dry rubs are really good! tried the lemon pepper, louisiana, buffalo and teriyaki and def preferred the dry rubs. only wished the louisiana wings had more of a deeper flavor cus the flavor was only on the skin and since the wings are meaty the flavor disappeared real quick. the fries were almost like the typical fries but it tasted sweet like there was sugar on it but idk. wing sizes are consistent!

  • C W.

I will admit, deciding to try this place for the first time during lunch hours was a poor decision. The parking lot was hectic, as there are several other stores in this shopping center; however, it was totally worth it. The staff here are friendly. I ordered a meal of Garlic parmesan wings and fries. YUM! Even though I was full, I couldn't stop eating. The garlic parmesan wings are super garlic-y...so beware if you get your order to go.

  • Wesley Y.

It's pretty good the 30 pack is a good deal decent price for value, 2.25$ beers amazing deal!! The 30 pack comes w 3 flavors 30 wings 3 toppings and a large fries. We got all dry rubs. The old bay, garlic Parmesan, and lemon pepper. I got my 10 boneless it was drenched in oil. The wings didn't have as many drumsticks style as I liked. They had the redskins game on and seemed pretty busy Very nice staff!

  • Dave L.

Great food as always but this heavy set guy with a beard was way too loud whining and complaining to his co-workers about the the dumbest stuff. Was really annoying having to listen to him yell his problems to the world throughout my entire meal. According to him people used to call him "10 chainz". If you want a dinner and a show, he's your man.

  • Brian S.

Overall, the qualities of wings were satisfactory. I want to mention that the manager, Brian gives nice service to customers and helps coordinating your wings well.

    (4)
  • K R.

Way better than BWW. Wings are cooked great and the sauces are amazing. Plus they have 60 cent boneless wing nights on Mondays and Tuesdays. Some of the best wings I've had.

    (5)
  • Zara K.

I like their fries! Wings are alright! Better than most cheap joints! Four stars only compared to this category of food ! ... And the guys that work there don't hesitate to hit on you:p !

  • Peter G.

This is my favorite place near my house. They have really spicy wings which I love. The wings are made from scratch. Be prepared to wait about 10-15 minutes for the wings. Carry-out is another option to enjoy the Tammy wings.

  • Craig L.

These guys are the best. Brian, who is almost always working there, will bust his ass to make sure your order is exactly what you wanted. Super friendly guy, always remembers me when I stop by. It's the personal touches that make me go out of my way to visit when I'm in the area. And the food? Best wings I've ever had. Can't get enough of them. Every flavor is great, even the ones that aren't really my thing are delicious. I can't say enough good things about Wingstop in Rockville.

My partner and I have been going to Wing Stop for years. We frequented one near our old place in California, and even had added this to our list of things we'll miss about the bay area. Low and behold, there is one near my work. Score! The busiest night we've come here is a Friday. The line wasn't too crazy, but there definitely was a much crazier line after we had already ordered and sat down. The cashier was super friendly and nice. He provided excellent customer service and really seemed to like his job. Or at least do a damn good job at acting like it. (That's all that counts!) This is the only Wing Stop I have been to, in where the service was this good. Usually, the service is mediocre. We ordered 3 flavors in wings, our favorite being mild, garlic Parmesan and barbeque. Their sauces are delicious, and extra buttery. My partner really liked their boneless tenders, but I'm not a fan. I'm down with the bone, the chicken in it's more natural form. The sides are decent. I usually just stick with the veggies and dip. I'm not too crazy about their side options. The only downfall about Wing Stop is their actual wings are small and kinda skinny compared to real buffalo wings. But hey, the flavor is good. I ain't mad! It did take a little while for the food to come out. But it was hot and fresh. I don't mind waiting a little longer just to ensure it's fresh. Good place for quick grub or just when you are craving some wings. Prices are standard. Parking can be a pain when it's busy. Good luck.

  • Derek P.

I've been searching for buffalo wings that remind me of home. Wingstop didn't meet my (lofty) standard, but I would definitely label these as passable for a wing craving. Got the mild, hot, and boneless BBQ wings, and some fries. Fries were good, but cold. Threw them in the broiler and saved those. As for the wings, flavor was good on the hot. They were tasty. Perhaps I have a different definition of 'mild', but to me 'mild' wings should have a small, but noticeable amount. Most places around here seem to just serve a 'mild' sauce that's 99% butter, 1% hot sauce for color. Boneless wings were very good as well.

  • Peggy K.

Honestly, BWW is way better, but for some reason I always come back here. I think it may be the fries, 'cause once in a while I get major cravings for fries and ranch dip. And wingstop's fries and ranch are bomb. Besides that, I give this wingstop 3 stars because you never know how the chicken will turn out. For example, today the chicken was great and I didn't feel juked. But the last time I got chicken from here, it was horrible. I mean.. the chick wings were TINY and dried out. When my husband and I saw the wings, we were like ... really? The wings are always greasy though. If you're looking for the best wings in the area, this is not the place to go.

Great wings and friendly servers. I'm always greeted by the same couple people and they are always quick with my order. Downside is the horrible parking lot.

I've loved chicken wings since I was small. When my friend recommended that I go check out Wingstop, I just had to! I usually like spicy buffalo wings but Wingstop had a variety of wings available and I wanted to try them all! My favorite now is the Louisiana Rub. You can also order online and pick up at your order for more efficiency. The store is highly accessible and I recommend it for anyone who loves chicken wings.

I dont always enjoy wingstop, but I was hungry and it was late. This place gets five stars just for their employees. Great customer service and attitude. They were actually playing with kids in the front when they had time. Lots of laughs had by all.

I was anxious to try Wingstop as a big fan of wings. I was very impressed by a lot of things. Get the mobile app for takeout ordering. It is very easy to use, and you can schedule your pickup time if traveling from some distance - very helpful. Consistent with a lot of other reviews, everybody at this location is very friendly. The wings were cooked correctly and I liked the sauces. I had garlic parmesan, mild and teriyaki and all three were very good. Fallsgrove Village Center can be busy but be patient, you will find a parking spot.

  • Willis N.

This place is bomb. I love the wings and fries here. I would choose this place over BWW because the wings are better in my opinion. If you want more variety of flavors/seasonings go to BWW.

  • Zack H.

Is this one of the best wing restaurants in the area? Methinks it is. This is a fast food restaurant that serves wings. There's nothing special about the layout. They serve cheap beer here, but they don't have a tap or a bar. They don't employ many people, but the service I got here was great. The guy at the counter knew his way in and out of this place and their wings, and frequently checked in with me to see how the meal was. I've had wings from many different restaurants in my life -- Quaker Steak and Lube, Buffalo Wild Wings, countless small restaurants nobody has heard of -- and I can honestly say that these are among my list of the best wings I've ever had. I had a 10 boneless wing combo with Teriyaki Sauce and Hickory BBQ Sauce. The wings were large and meaty. The Teriyaki Sauce was average, while the Hickory BBQ Sauce was nothing short of awesome. They claimed that the wings are not kept in storage trays and are fresh, but I know how that this is just a load of crap: they were probably frozen, but they still tasted amazing. I did find a trash can here, believe it or not. I was amazed. I felt like I had found a leprechaun. However, it was the size of a can of soup. There was no way in hell I could fit my wings or my drink in that measly trash can. You apparently just leave your finished food and drink on the table, and they take it someplace else after you're done. The tables were clean, though. If you are looking for amazing wings near Rockville or Gaithersburg, look no further than this place. It's well worth your time and money.

This location had apparently gotten enough phone orders to where they stopped taking new orders - literally taped a sign to the door - and turned every potential customer who still walked in away. Don't waste your time and gas on a football day! The wings are good, but they need to be staffed appropriately and cut off phone orders before turning away people who drive out for wings.

I've been here twice. I tried the atomic wings and their just hot with no flavor. The second time I did half and half the louisiana rub and original hot wings. The hot wings were okay. louisiana dry rub wings were a little bland on flavor. Their fries taste okay. I ask for old bay seasoning and was told that is an extra .80 cents...really? I think Buffalo Wild wings in Rockville taste so much better. This place is over rated lol. I won't be returning. The one good thing is good customer service here.

Wingstop, how I've missed you. Ever since I moved out of MoCo three years ago I have yet to find a suitable substitute for your flavorful, fried goodness. My hubby and I came in after watching a football game so we were pretty hungry. As soon as we entered we were warmly greeted my the cashiers. We ordered the 30 piece family meal (yes, for only the two of us, don't judge!) complete with fries, dipping sauces and crudite. We were able to order up to three flavors of wings so we got the mild, lemon pepper and garlic Parmesan. After waiting about 15 minutes are food arrived piping hot. The server was nice enough explain which flavor was which (in case it wasn't apparent) and even differentiated between the blue cheese and ranch (which I'll admit is sometimes hard to tell). The food was delicious fresh and crispy. The sauces are tasty and the wings are so drenched in sauce that it overpowers the flavor of chicken or makes it cold. My favorite flavor of the three was the lemon pepper. The fries were cooked perfectly and had the perfect dusting of sugar (their trademark). The veggies on the side were fresh too. It's too bad there isn't one in DC or we'd be eating there every week.

Wingstop always hits the spot when I'm looking for some fast food style quick and easy boneless wings. The prices are a little steep for what you get, but average for the area. A wide array of sauces to choose from. I would say 4 stars for food but 5 stars for the service. I have always been more than pleased with how courteous and attentive all of the staff members are. They bring your food for you and casually check on your needs as they walk by (even though its not a wait-staffed restaurant). I'm craving hot boneless wings with blue cheese and fries now. I'll probably get them tomorrow :)

Garlic Parmesan wings are the best! Crispy, tasty. and flavorful. I think I gained a few pounds the next day but it was worth it.

  • Bella S.

This place is obsessed with timeliness which is how you get served some awesomely, crispy wings. Delicious, though slightly sweet (Yukon potatoes?) rough cut fries (get the cheese sauce). So far we haven't tried a sauce we haven't enjoyed. Maybe lemon pepper, that was a little overpowering. Active manager could not serve us one type of chicken strips and so he made us an order of another type for free, so that my husband could eat with me, and then brought the originally requested strips whilst we were mid feast. It was a lot of food but someone has to do it. Yes, it's a chain but it's also a wonderfully run, delicious franchise.

#1. I hold a "unofficial" record up here. Ask the manager Brian and his lil brother. I ate 30 atomic wings in one sitting. My intestants were mad at me a lil bit for a couple days after...my stomach had a an orgasm though. Not only did I impress the manager by eating the 30 atomic wings but he payed for my dinner after I ate it...he was in disbelief. The atomic wings are so hot that after 5 wings the next 25 were a piece of cake since my mouth was numbed up like a coke head. #2 I love how its a privately owned franchise. Meaning the staff members aren't over powered by an asshole manager. Infact the manager is underpaid. Nicest dude, always makes sure im leaving happy. Sometimes he'll throw in an extra free ranch. The staff as a whole is very great, they all seem pleased to be at work. #3 when it comes to the food...best wings in area. BWW sucks dick. There Habenero wings cant even compare to the atomic wings at wing stop. Now I dont recommend ordering 10 atomic wings without trying one out...which what makes the staff all better. They'll let u try one free atomic ring if ur feeling curious. Pussies beware it will blow ur fucking head off. Numbing. If u want some spice but not to much get the Cajun sauce. That shit is banging. I get it all day. I retired atomic wings after I set the record. Another thing their ranch dressing has to be made from scratch. By far the best butter milk ranch dip ive ever had. Im lucky when they hook me up with an extra free one. Motherfuckers deserve to charge u for this amazing "secret recipe" ranch sauce. Better then big mac sauce. Apart from atomic and cajun I've also had lemon pepper...or also known as "the Rick Ross special" Rozay bought a few franchise in the south and that's his favorite flavor. My homeboy Jayy Tu-Wize (MoCo Bounce rapper) and I gor like 100 wings of lemon pepper and a pound of ranch. Straight crack. Also the French fries are crack to. Real potato. #4 only thing that is a lil turn off is the price for the wings, u aint getting 20 wings for $8...this aint 7/11. Then again ur paying for the quality...more expensive then hooters, or BWW but it's a devine taste compared to that shit. Although hooters staff look devine. Overall I give this place 5 out of 5. Not only is there wings excellent but their staff is great and very family friend. Not ignorant of their surroundings at all. I read other reviews and not one I've read had a complaint on staff or management. Intact they all praised the staff. If u aint tried Wing Stop then u a Martian or something...go eat that chicken.

We were on a search for delicious wings close to home, and we couldn't believe we didn't try this place sooner! I'm not very picky with wings: as long as the meat is well-marinated, tender, and the sauce delivers the heat, I'm happy. The wings here definitely exceed these basic expectations, and if you want serious heat, try the atomic. It was an understatement when they said the atomic wings are "very hot"....I must admit that I couldn't handle any more after eating three. I even had to drink milk! Oh, and they have yummy fries and veggie sticks! They have this one really great guy/manager who works here (I think we're all talking about the same guy in our reviews). He is really friendly and even gave us extra wings when we ordered the atomic. I don't mind the lack of napkins here (the world won't end if you just use their paper towels)...though it does make it tempting for me to lick the sauce off my fingers...but I've been told (by my mother) that this is not lady-like.

This place is the worst place to get wings in MoCo. We were the only 2 people in the restaurant. We ordered 20 wings. We waited for 40 minutes. Every time I went over to ask on the status of the wings- I got a scowl from the cashier. I eventually told my husband we should probrably stop asking because they might start spitting (or worse) in our food. There were like 3 people working in the back- laughing, joking, having a grand old time. I'm glad they were enjoying life while I slowly starved to death waiting for my dinner. And then- when we FINALLY got our food- there was no blue cheese dip. So, I went to ask for it. The cashier says in an incredibly sarcastic tone: "Uhm you have to pay for that!" --- Well first of all- I actually already HAD- as I then proceeded to show her my receipt...second of all- even if I had NOT--- did I really need the 'tude after waiting so long for my food? PS: It took another 10 min before we got our dipping sauce. By then, we had 5 wings left. Fabulous. Never again. oh! PPS: The wings had barely ANY meat on them and they were over done- fried to a crisp and soaking in sauce. Go to Buffalo Wild Wings if you want good wings with lots of flavor options.

pretty consistent with the quality wings they got here. got to love the ultra MSG topped fries. price isn't too bad, but i wish you didn't have to pay extra for some 'veggie sticks'

I'm rating this place 3 stars because of the manager. He's very friendly and makes sure you get the right order. Ive been there when he wasn't working and didnt get the great service he provides. I think he's the manager. he's tall and thickish. If you read this your doing a great job. I only like to go there when he's working. The food itself is average but I havent had any good wings since I moved out to MoCo. The lemon pepper are the best flavor in my opinion and the fries are good, they're seasoned. The wings are just too greasy!

This is the absolute best Wingstop in the area. I love the franchise in general because they really serve the best wings in the entire area. Never have I been disappointed my wings are always hot crispy fresh delicious. Brian is the best guy I hope he always stays at this Wingstop. Keep turning out these great wings!

Let me put this out there, I like this place better than BWW. The only thing BWW has is more diversity of sauces, food types, bar, and the bar-like atmosphere. As for food/wing quality, I'd honestly choose wingstop. It's more peaceful to eat there as well. I don't know what was going on but the week before Thanksgiving they gave AMAZING service. AMAZING. I don't even know, I was caught so off guard and it's THIS specific Wingstop. Everyone was real cool and nice. I never leave a tip when I go to Wingstop but I felt like I just had to. Good stuff though, I highly recommend this place.

I don't know where to begin. You know, instead of my usual 5000 page epic novel - I'm going to have to bulletpoint this one. Yelp does not give me enough characters to go on the full on rant that this place needs. 1a) The menu is sparse - it's just wings and boneless wings. So...why on earth does it take TWENTY MINUTES to get 10 wings? TWENTY MINUTES! Yes, it was a Sunday, but I've also been here on non-football weeknights and the wait never gets less! 1b) To go off of point 1a, this WingStop has been in this location for well over 3 years. That's over three years of football Sundays. Are they seriously telling me that they don't haven't analyzed their Sunday ordering patterns?!? PUL-EASE! My dad owns a florist, and we only have Valentine's Day once a year, and I can tell you within a 2% point differential, the call and sales volume for each 15 minute interval. If the management at this place is really so lame that they can't figure out that 30-45 minutes prior to kickoff of the first game, there will be a rush and they should probably cook up a bunch of chicken wings and not wait for each individual order to come in before cooking, then hell, they really need to hire someone new. 2) OK, so you know when you order wings at ANY OTHER place in the USA, that you get a little container of bleu cheese or ranch dressing, and a stick or two of celery? Yeah...at WingStop you have to pay 75 cents! For a tiny little quarter shot of dressing!!! HUH? I can see charging for EXTRA dressing...but charging for the very first container of dressing? And seriously, 75 cents for two sticks of celery? Which everyone knows that you only have it with your wings, so that you can say "oh, there's veggies with it, so it's healthy"...I mean, it's like GARNISH. 3) The attitude of the staff has to be experienced to be believed. It's as if they are doing us a favor. Um, no. 4) There are NO TRASHCANS. ANYWHERE. IN THE ENTIRE STORE. I know, I LOOKED. Repeatedly. So guess what? I left my trash on the table, because THERE ARE NO TRASHCANS. ANYWHERE. I mean...REALLY????????????? 5) Because there are no trashcans, one would assume that the tables would be bussed and wiped down. NOPE! There was a pile of trash on our table a mile-high...covered in grease (as this is a wings place)...and no one came to pick up the trash or to wipe down the table. Not even when I said "HEY, can someone please come and clear off this table". 6) The chicken wings themselves are TINY! Now, yes, I've been spoiled by BonChon of late...but even still, I've seen bigger wings from a quail. These suckers were *SMALL*. And they aren't cheap. 7) I could and should probably pull a Su K and do a price breakdown per wing, but you know what? Issues #1a - 6 should be enough to warn you away. Plus I can't do math. But even my non-math doing butt knows that the prices aren't reflective of quality of the wings.

Awesome wings, great staff and excellent all around value. This location is pretty close to my work and my coworkers and I come here a good bit and have never been disappointed.I'm a pepper head and the Atomic sauce here is one of my favorite hot wings sauces around. Order them wet for extra kick. I think of all the local wing chains this one is tops.

A good place to go once in a while. Wings are decent and filling. They have nice spices and good taste. Try the atomic if you are into really spicy wings. Overall a solid place

The major complaint I hear is the wait time. They take made-to-order a little too seriously - it can take a while to get your food so I suggest order ahead of time. I call 30 min prior to getting there and my wings are ready for me when I reach Wingstop. The wings are great - fresh chicken wings as is, not too big hence delivering a great crunchy texture. The atomic sauce is the bomb. I get my wings well-done and sauce on the side ALWAYS so it's never soggy. The fries with salt and sugar are great but they never hold up the crunch after cooling down. Still the only decent place in the area for good wings. Forget about the bready wings at hooters. The name says it all.

  • Amani A.

My favorite item is the carrots and celery yes sad but true! The wings are just okay the fries are a bit too greasy for my liking. I also have to say it's kind of pricey for a wing place I always somehow come out spending close to $14-16... And they charge extra for sauce I hate when companies charge for sauce or put limits it's just annoying

Place is good. But the tenders SUCK for the price. Not paying 10bucks for 5 baby tenders. I decided to try something new and have the coleslaw instead of the fries. The coleslaw was too creamy. They would be better if they didn't give you little tenders. The wings are overall good for the portion size. I usually come once in a while and the service is good. Will be back. Today was just not there day

This place is awful. The service was terrible. The cashier had a horrible attitude, and the people who brought the food out barely enunciated the names and got mad when people didn't hear her. Furthermore, when they forgot to give me my ranch dressing (which inexplicably cost .69 more, she grabbed my receipt, as if I was trying to put one over on her.) The garlic parm wings were terrible, and the original wings were barely passable. Did I mention they took over 13 minutes to make? Avoid this place at all costs. I think the only customers they get are like my group: People who didn't want to wait for the line at Chipotle. Way to aim for the skies Rockville Wingstop.

What a dud. I phoned ahead inquiring about time of delivery for a not so big order. I was assured it would take 10-15 minutes. I went online to place the order and even phoned afterwards making sure they got the order. The order was late and wrong when I went to pick it up. The order was not even checked by the manager- btw- it was not even busy!!! I asked how can you have three flavors of wings in two containers, and the manager just looked at me and said "oh". She offered to correct the order- why bother she was just going to get it wrong again, then she offered to put my name in a book for free wings later- if they have a book- that is a problem! Don't bother going to this location not worth the hassle.

The only reason I am reviewing this place is because the service was out of this world. VERY surprising considering it's just a random, "fast" food place. But I was really pleased with the experience here. My boyfriend, his little brother, and I came to Wingstop after an exhausting trip to Costco. We were starving so we decided to share the 30 wings meal that came with fries (you have a choice of regular or cheese fries) and carrot/celery sticks (drinks are separate). You can choose up to three flavors for the wings but they are super cool about letting you choose more (there may be like a 25 cent upcharge per flavor after the three that are included in the price though). And they let us choose how many wings we wanted per flavor...so instead of five different sauces with 6 wings each, we could order 7 wings that are mild, 4 that are Hawaiian, 10 that are whatever, and so on. It might have been annoying for them but they never showed it--and that way we could try multiple sauces without committing to too many wings of a particular flavor. We tried Hawaiian, mild, lemon pepper, garlic parmesan, and...something else but I don't remember. The lemon pepper ones were soo good and the mild were tasty also. We ended up ordering more of the mild. The others were decent but not our favorites. The wings aren't gigantic but definitely taste better than places like Buffalo Wild Wings (and they didn't give me food poisoning after like BWW). I didn't really want fries so it was great that veggie sticks came with the platter. The customer service and atmosphere is awesome! Brian and Sean (Shawn? Shaun? No name tag so I'm guessing on the spelling) were so friendly and attentive. They are extremely patient while you are deciding what you want, and are even more patient with younger children. I noticed that a lot of families were here, and the employees are great with kids. Brian looks at your receipt and addresses you by name (Ms./Mr. Last name, or if you're younger, by your first name) and is upbeat and courteous. He said that we could leave our trash on the table when we're done and that someone would clear it away but we saved him the trouble by throwing away our own trash and stacking the trays for him. We noticed when we came in that the tables are cleared and wiped down immediately so that the restaurant is very clean and inviting. This Wingstop location rocks.

Okay since then, the place has gotten a little better. The service is a lot faster and the food is fresh due to new management. I see new employees there. Unfortunately, the wings are almost bite-sized which I am disappointed in but I absolutely LOVE their seasoned fries. It's salty with a touch of sugar. You must go there and get large fries with their creamy ranch dip! It's heavenly!

The wings and extras are consistently good here, but the big point of pride for the store is the staff and the manager. They're excellent. Highly recommended.

Solid place for wings. Decent sized wings with decent sauce option for reasonable prices (10 wings for $6.95 is a pretty good deal for what you get). Reliable but not necessarily mindblowing, but it is wings. The boneless wings/tenders are also a solid deal with the same sauce options. The tenders are also included in a tenders/fries/drink combo special so I'd definitely come back to take advantage of this deal. Another up side of this place: open late on the weekends (I think until midnight). How can you pass up the deals here!

WOW! their food is amazing. I love wings and I can never find wings that are good as wing stop. It is a bit pricey but I think it's well worth it. The management has changed in the last year or so, and the people that work their now are friendly, courteous and give great customer service. The staff before was horrendous. I would highly recommend this place over BWW anytime.

  • Ree S.

The manager at the front who is always there makes sure you are well taken care of and everything you order is in your bags before you go. The food is always good, the fries are just amazing--don't forget to order cheese with them!!!

  • Cherry R.

I have to say that their customer service has improved. But why spend $10 on a five piece boneless chicken meal and can't get extra celery sticks? Every time I order a five piece boneless chicken meal I always ask for no fries, no carrots and extra celery sticks. I can never get extra celery sticks unless I'm being charged. I would think they are saving money because I don't want the fries. Wft. Please let me know if that makes sense.

I'm a big wing fan...and I know a great one when I see one, however, this place was mediocre compared to other places that I have been to. First off, I agree with the wait time complaints; I went and it managed to be a 10 min wait time, but the first time I went [earlier this yr] it took almost the entirety of my break time. NOT SO GOOD when you have limit on break. Secondly, the fries can be a bit extra on the salt...I think I got enough sodium in my system to retain 2 days worth of water. Anyway, it is a good place--BWW is better with the selection but then again People, this is considered Fast Food NOT a restaurant.

It does take a while to get your wings. But these are by far my favorite wings. They are crispy but still saucy, and they have awesome fries.

Best boneless wings in town! (Veggie strips are alway fresh and crisp. Great fries, too.) Brian, the manager, runs a tight ship and ensures excellent, personalized service. Kudos to a man who loves his job and does it well.

Why are there so many bad reviews?? I agree with Santiago, the service here is awesome! The guys at the register are always really friendly and helpful. I go here strictly for the garlic parmesan wings and the fries. I don't know what seasoning they use on the fries but they're sooooooo good! It's kinda salty kinda sweet. Also, the wings aren't greasy which is a plus! LOVE 'em!

I have been going to Wingstop for over 6 years now and while the food has ALWAYS been very good, there was a period from 2007-2009 where the management was awful and the customer service was a joke. HOWEVER, I went back to Wingstop for the first time in months last Tuesday and in all my time going there, this was my best experience at Wingstop. First, they have a new manager, Brian, who was friendly, quick and brought out my Chicken Strips and Fries EXACTLY in the time he promised (9 minutes). He was able to strike up a fun conversation with me during my wait and kindly brought the order to my table along with a plate. I got two flavors (Garlic Parmesan and Hot) and these two flavors were the most delicious flavors I have had in ALL the wing places I have been. This includes Buffalo Wild Wings, Cluck-U, Wingzone and numerous bars where I've had wings. This place beats all those places, period. The fries are also delicious and they have a unique, kinda sweet seasoning on top which brings it all together. Next, for those of you complaining about pricing, it is pretty comparable to most wing places around the area. Buffalo Wild Wings has 6 Wings for $4.79, while Wingstop has 10 for $6.29. Seems like Wingstop has the upper end there. I am a firm believer in that you get what you pay for and for 7-8 bucks, you can enjoy a very filling meal here. Finally, many have talked about the wait for wings here. Yes, it can be a little bit long, but unlike many other wing places where they keep their chicken frozen or already cooked and just heat it up for you when you order it, Wingstop makes all their wings fresh to order. This is why it takes them the 10-15 minutes for your food to come out. Believe me, their wings are worth the wait. In conclusion, I am a firm believer that this place not only has the best wings you can find in the area, but the pricing is competitive and the customer service/management is now excellent. If you are in the mood for chicken wings, fries and beer, this is the place to go!

As has been stated repeatedly, the food here is fair and the service could easily be improved. The guys at the counter act as though they are doing you favor in taking your order, and the place doesn't have napkins (only a roll of paper towels on the counter) or trash cans. This is bizarre for a wings place.

  • Renan A.

I've gone there twice. The first time I waited about 15 minutes and the service was absolutely horrible. The staff was very rude. This time the service was OK, but I called it in and still waited. The place was sloppy and the wings were far less then average. I might go back.

Wingstop is a typical wing joint. TVs pumping ESPN. Music playing, probably satellite radio. And a menu that consists of wings, fries, wings, beer, and wings. The wings are decent, the fries are good (I think they may put a dash of sugar on them) and the portions of both are large. One good thing about this particular WingStop is that when all the other restaurants in the shopping center are crowded you can usually walk in and get served quickly. Usually an uncrowded restaurant in a packed shopping center is a bad sign. But I think people don't consider chicken wings for lunch (I'd eat them for breakfast if I could). They can be messy and there are certain gastrointestinal consequences when you eat spicy buffalo wings. These may combine to keep a typical cubicle dweller on a lunch break away from the wingy dingys. Most people wouldn't want to show up for that afternoon meeting with wing sauce on your shirt and a rumbly in your tummy. Anyway, if you can put your fear aside you can snag a decent lunch for a reasonable price (7 bucks for boneless wing strips, fries, coleslaw, and a drink).

WingStop in Rockville has delicious wings. I love it that they prepare them while you wait. Trina provides the customers with laughs and excellent customer service.

The food is pretty good. The service blows. Don't expect to get your wings in less than 15 mins. I understand they say they are made to order, but most places precook their wings when it tends to get busy (like 12:00pm), because it's simply not productive to wait until people start ordering. (I've had wait problems in all WingStops I've encountered -- not just this one.) Also, I've had my order placed wrong in several occasions. Typically they'll forget to give you all the dips you ordered. The good thing about the place is that their wings are tasty. My favorite is the Cajun, but their Original Hot is also good. Don't get Atomic unless you plan on drinking a lot of water and paying for it in the bathroom. I used to buy Atomics and have my unsuspecting buddies try them. They'll never trust me with food again. If you don't like spicy, try the BBQ. Avoid the Lemon Pepper and Parmesan unless you really like that kind of crap on your wings. The wings are on the small side though and they don't batter their wings. Their dips are a bit watered down but I don't mind it. The fries are decent, but they sweeten it with sugar or something...kinda tastes strange. They're usually cooked just right though. I've never tried their boneless wings but I've heard they're good. That's about it. UPDATE: So it's been about 3 years since I've posted this review and I must say they've really gotten their act together. The last time I ordered there they got my order correctly and well within 15 mins during a busy time. And for that I bumped the rating from 3 stars to 4.

This is one of few places where the customer service makes the difference, the people in there was very kind specially Brian who took the time to explain to me the offers, and the different combinations, at the end he provided me with an excellent idea which plate take in my first time. The flavors are really tasty, I haven't tried the hot (spicy) items but they do look good as well. The ambient is very calm, they have a good variety of beers. If you want have wings for lunch or dinner this place deserves your attention at least for one time (I'm regular customer now). To do Costumer Service is a VERY difficult task. In Wing Stop, they have an OUTSTANDING costumer service. As soon as you walk in through that door you feel like the people who work there are people that you have known all your life, that are SO helpful and kind.

I will agree that the wings here are pretty small, possibly the smallest I have in a restaurant. I came here looking for a quick meal to go and ordered the 10 wings, fries, and drink "special" which today was $8.99. I think they must just come up with a price everyday for the special by pulling a number out of a hat. The woman at the counter was mad about something before I ordered so that wasn't the most pleasant exchange and she was fairly rude to be honest. I waited about 20 minutes for the meal, which seemed long for some wings but they were pretty good and the fries were good as well. I haven't had any desire to come back though because there are too many negatives to outweigh the 1 positive.

  • Jen L.

The wings are average and actually pretty small. The prices are moderate, but overpriced if you consider the quality of the wings. The location is clean and the shopping center is quite convenient. Overall, I've had better wings and at better prices.
