Any frozen yogurt place is like any frozen yogurt place. The ad part for this location is, in fact, their location. The shopping center around this sweet frog is mildly put, Worn out. The fact that their outdoor seating consists of a few colorful lawn chairs that allow you to gaze out into the sad parking lot is off putting at best. Aside from that, expect another frozen yogurt place like any other. Always go for the Mochi!

Sweet Frog has really fresh fro yo and tons of yogurt flavors and topping options to choose from. It's all very affordable too. The only downside, probably, is the limited amount of seating they have. Even on a Saturday at around 9pm, this place was absolutely packed! The line was long, but the service was efficient. And the ice cream was definitely well worth it.

This place can't fill the void in my heart left by Caliyogurt's recent closing. The toppings are fresh, but the tart flavors don't really live up to its label of being tart. The colors for the froyo are simply too vibrant and makes you wonder how much food coloring they've added. Update from owner: "Our commitment for safety of our product is ultimate. We don't add any excessive or non healthy colors. Only intense looking colors are sorbet flavors which are 100% natural and it's because of temperature and controlled quantity of air into soft serve that effects most on color." Welp. There you have it! The owners certainly care about their business, I will have to visit a few more times to push me off one side of the fence.

3.5 stars. This is a great froyo place if you want something really sweet! I wish they had more tart flavors but the ones they do have satisfy my froyo cravings.

This establishment has a solid original tart flavor with the right amount of tartness and fat content. But, I didn't see any blueberries as toppings offered :(

So, I might have been pretty tired when I came here, but equally excited that Sweet Frog was so close by, opening another store in Kentlands, AND had Taro froyo, my favorite. I liked the other froyo selections they had and the large topping selection, but the Taro froyo was a bit on the sweet side (I LOVED Caliyogurt's version) and the mango poppers had this funny slimy taste to it. Decent price...I'll prob come back to try it once more before I give it a def yes or no.

Sweet Frog has one of the most ostentatious froyo branding presences of all time. Those cute little keroppi lookalikes are EVERYWHERE, there are tshirts and hats and plushes and stickers and pins all over the place. I'm not sure what froyo has to do with frogs (hopefully nothing), but it sure is attention-grabbing. This location just opened about four days ago and it's already made quite a scene. Not that I'm complaining; I will say, being a self-proclaimed froyo aficionado, that Sweet Frog offers some pretty darn good froyo. They have great dessert-y flavors (NY cheesecake, peanut butter, cookies n cream, dulce de leche, etc) that taste pretty much like decadent soft serve. They can be a little too sweet, but I really really really liked the Thin Mint flavor. Their fruity froyos are also very creamy, definitely more of a rich treat than a refreshing sorbet. They don't offer any non-dairy options yet, although they promised to soon! Toppings bar is sizeable, with a heavy emphasis on candy toppings. I think they had pretty much every type of candy bar in crushed form. Good array of fruit, nuts, and other things too. Cups come in 3 sizes, you can sample as much as you want, staff were really friendly, and the place was clean and bright. There's not that much seating room but there are a couple cute tables outside. And within walking distance from my house? This is going to be a good summer indeed.

So happy that Sweet Frog opened this location in my neighborhood. I love the variety they have, and can sneak it for just a smidgeon of yogurt as a healthy guilty pleasure. Have never felt uncomfortable or unwelcome by staff.

I've been waiting for this place to open for months, so I'm really happy that it's finally here and just in time for summer. I love that this is in a neighborhood spot where its easily accessible by foot for so many people (namely, me). This place is kept clean, and colors are bright and welcoming. Even though its been pretty crowded, seats are not too hard to find, especially because they have some outdoor seating space as well. The yogurt is good. The majority of these flavors are not the tart type of froyo. About half of the flavors are fruits (pineapple, blueberry, peach, mango...), and the other half are well, non-fruits (dulce de leche, peanut butter, vanilla, cake batter, thin mint, cheesecake...). Topping bar is plentiful - all the candy (chocolate and non-chocolate) you could want, plus mochi, fresh fruit, and more (cookies, chocolate chips, brownies, cakes, etc). Its been crowded here thanks to the heat wave so you see the workers constantly refilling the toppings - a plus because the toppings don't sit out for too long. They have a multitude of syrups to add on. My favorites have been the kiwi lime and marshmallow. They also have peanut butter, caramel, raspberry, and lemon, among many others. Come try this place for your next froyo fix!

Flavor is OK, and multiple choices. But a little too sweet. The place is clean.

Always love a quick trip to this Sweet Frog. Froyo is good and a never-ending puzzle of toppings to choose from. Very friendly staff 99% of the time. Yesterday I was wished to enjoy my Sweet Frog literally 4 times! And you betcha, I did! Only once was there an employee who's customer service and interaction skills wouldn't even qualify him for picking up my garbage, let alone serving and answering questions about froyo. Maybe he was high, which is NOT how you go to work...whatever. But I HIGHLY SUGGEST this store for an anytime froyo crave!

The froyo weren't as solid of a texture. It was like they've been sitting outside for a few minutes and melted. None of the flavors were tarty, except the original. The other flavors were all so sweet which is probably what sone people may like. Personally, I like them a bit tarty.

While I am a fan of Sweet Frog they are definitely not my favorite in terms of flavors. I have been to many different ones and they all carry the typical same flavors. I like more of the Asian and tropical flavors like Green Tea, Taro, Melon and etc. My go to flavor at Sweet Frog is always the original tart. Their tart is good. This location is always busy and clean. Easy to park. Easy to find.

Eh CaliYogurt is gone forever, so we were trying to find a new hot spot for froyo in the city. Sweet Frog pales in comparison. First of all, the place is so cramped. Ugh Secondly, the cashier kicked us out of the restaurant while we were still eating. Rude Thirdly, there were security cameras everywhere. Huh Fourthly, SweetFrog is pushing Christian values on the customers. Awkward

I have been coming here a lot recently and I have to say their froyo is good, but nothing really special or significant about it. They offer a variety of flavors (although I normally just stick with vanilla) and also a variety of different toppings. My cousin tried the strawberry flavor one time and wasn't a big fan of it. Also the cake batter flavor is WAY too sweet. I wouldn't recommend that flavor unless you like diabetes in a cup. Overall, the froyo/toppings they provide would be 4 stars. But the reason why I feel this place only deserves three stars is because of the service and the atmosphere. First, service-wise, I can tell that the people who work there are just teenagers. They seem like they are half asleep (this happens every time I go there) and not once did they ever smile at me. I would say these things really don't matter in a froyo place, but it would be nice if they appreciated the money I am bringing to their shop. Now the atmosphere, I always get so frustrated and annoyed every time I am here. It is always dirty and I HATE going into an ice cream/froyo place and everything is just STICKY. its disgusting and this place really needs wake up their staff by getting them to mop the floor or wipe down the tables.

My favorite mix is the original tart with gummy bears, mochi, and fruit. Even on a Friday night with a long line, the service was fast and friendly. They keep the place looking clean and the yogurt is really good plus its a good environment to hang out and get desert. We usually go to this store and Kentlands location! Best flavors: Original tart, chocolate, peanut butter, cake batter, strawberry, thin mint and many many more!!!! Must must try!!!!!!!

My daughter loves this place. It has a lot of flavors and has many toppings. The shopping center though has seen better days. Most of the stores are closed. It does make it easier to park though.

Its mehhh - I have two other chain froyo places that are the best in my book. Its cute and clean except for a few dead mosquito type bugs on the chairs... speaking of the chairs -- its way too cramped it was not well thought. I like the fact that they give you a reward stamp card but you can only use it there and the Darnstowne location... I doubt I will be back since one of the chains I prefer is close by the Rio. I did not think the yogurt flavors were impressive. But the sweet frogs are cute.
