I love a smoothie now and again, and Smoothie King has some pretty great options. I like to mix it up with one of the fruit varieties like blueberry or mango typically, but I'll occasionally get one of the smoothie meals, which are great. I also like that you can add in supplements like immune support, antioxidants, probiotics. The location looks like an afterthought and it's pretty tight when they get a few customers, but the staff is friendly and will work with you if you have any special dietary requirements. Overall, this is probably your best bet for a good smoothie in the area. Four stars.

Some smoothies taste better than others. They put a lot of additives which obviously isn't a good thing.

I like Smoothie King very much, but very $ and be careful of calories and sugar. They will make smoothies with Splenda and other reduced substitutes for other ingredients. Staff is always very nice.

One of my favorites... When I have $8's to get rid of, I enjoy doing it here! I always come back.

I go to 3 different Kings in the area and this one is the worst. The smoothies are always watery and lack flavor. I am not sure if they are diluting them or not but something is definetly wrong. Go to the one on 355 in Gaithersburg next to Chipotle, much much better

The smoothies here are okay but they don't taste very fresh and have a grainy quality that I find unpleasant. Also, the parking in this shopping center is so hectic that it's not really worth going here unless you're already stopping.

Yo this place is amazing. I ran 12 miles on Sunday morning and afterwards was thirstier than any of those lame white bros of Delta Sigma during rush weekend at the University of Maryland. I wasn't in the mood for jungle juice so much as a fruity, icy smoothie that hits the G spot. I drove 20 minutes to get here, and I was so thirsty man. I was the only one here because everyone else was worshipping at Covenant Life or Church of the Redeemer. I ask the cute cashier for a nice fruity recommendation, and she mentions a pineapple, strawberry, kiwi smoothie. Yeah let's go with that! She also asks if I want a vegan cookie. Yeah sure! I am trying to be more of a yes man, and I wanted to cise her statistics in regards to sales of the food items. Back when I worked at Starbucks, my supervisor monitored my metrics of selling food items in addition to drinks. I was able to get about 45% of my customers to purchase a food item plus a drink (which is a good percentage). She even gave me extra smoothie. I got the large, and along with the cookie, it came out to $12. I take a big sip of this jaunt, and ohhhhh myyyyyyy it tasted good. BRAIN FREEEEEZEEEEEE!!!!!! I drank this smoothie on my drive home. For the entire ride, I held the smoothie in one hand and steered the car with the other. I didn't use a turn signal the entire trip home. I did put the smoothie down when I reached my neighborhood. I had to put on a good song so that my neighbors think I'm cool with my windows down and some 1990s rock blasting on my stereo. I fell in love WITH THE GIRL AT THE ROCK SHOW! The customer service is excellent. I am mystified about the other reviews on here. You Yelpers need more chill. Do some yoga and don't take yourself so seriously.

Disgusting and Rude. I found a piece of plastic in my drink. Half way through the smoothie, almost choked on it. Went back inside to let them know. The manager asked me if I was sure it wasn't from the straw. I was so offended. I am not a child and I know how to properly open a straw. If it was from the straw WHY WOULD IT BE LODGED HALF WAY IN TO MY SMOOTHIE? Not one employee was apologetic towards their disgusting and dangerous mistake. It was the worst customer service I've received. Also, I got sick after I drank the rest of the smoothie. Of course, I can't 100% say it was the smoothie that made me sick, but seeing as my boyfriend and I both got sick... I assume it was the smoothie. I think I'm fine never coming back to this location again. BE AWARE. They are not sanitary and not friendly!!!

Love their smoothies! They have so many options and the price is just right l!. They're pretty fast and courteous considering how busy they get. I also find it hard to believe something that tastes so good is so healthy! But they also give massive amounts of your smoothie too! Love this place. I wish they had more locations.

Forgive my bluntness, but I just had pretty bad liquid diarrhea. I can't conclusively blame the smoothie, but seeing as how they already had plastic in my drink, I'm beginning to question their overall food safety. I'm a biologist and I worked in the restaurant industry for 10 years. I think they may need a cleaning & training overhaul. Update: my stomach still hurts the next day.

The employee/girl at this Fallsgrove location was very patient and helpful. I really wanted to give this place more stars just because she was so nice and constantly smiled. However, Smoothie King smoothies suck! This chain's smoothies are not healthy and are pure syrup and sugar! I was shocked when I watched the so-called "berries" being pumped out of a syrup container and other fruits being scooped out of syrupy sugar containers. Totally not fresh fruit!!! They use canned syrup "fruit" - not healthy at all! Plus, you have to request that they not add ADDITIONAL sugar and honey (which comes by default). The syrupy canned fruits themselves are already like pure processed sugar. To top it off, the prices are a bit high, especially if you aren't getting fresh fruit.

I've been to those location several times and it's never crowded and the service isn't bad. The Green Tea Tango with raspberries (Matcha Green Tea, Vanilla Frozen Yogurt, Vanilla Protein Blend, Turbinado) and chocolate Lean1 (Bananas, Almonds, Lean1 Chocolate-contains lots of protein!) are delicious! The Green Tea Tango is a great energy drink, while the chocolate Lean1 is good as a replacement or after a workout. The price for a 20 ounce smoothie ranges from $5-$6, depending on which one you get. The larger sizes (32 and 40 ounces) could burn a hole in your wallet though. If you can, make it a skinny! When you do, the turbinado (a type of sugar) is left out of the smoothie, and you'll cut down on the carbs and calories.

Nothing worth raving about at this particular Smoothie King. I was going to pass on reviewing, since its a chain and not a lot stood out. Then I considered how long it took to get my smoothie considering I was the only one in the store... and they had two employees working! I could only imagine how slow this place gets when there is a "rush". That might be something worth considering if you plan on swinging by...

Asked 4 a Slim & Trim, minus sweetener & Bananas. Was given the exact opposite. When I took it back, the manager slammed the blender on the counter and proceeded to make me a new drink. Rather than give me a new cup, she rinsed the old cup out with water. When I complained, I was told I got a free smoothie. Not understanding how it's free, when I paid for it.

Used to be good. Getting too corporate and expensive. Like the Acai, hate the price. Better than some, worse than others. If it is the only smoothie place around, sure. If there are options...

Poor Service. Can only substitute one fruit in an entire smoothie. The smoothies are watery and tasteless.

Angel Food smoothie - strawberry banana! I love the smoothies here, and enjoy them more than Jamba Juice's. In my opinion, they're sweeter and better-blended, with a whipped consistency/texture as opposed to an icy one. I also think Jamba's smoothies are more sour. The prices are pretty high (~$5 for a small) and I think they're meant to be a meal-substitute sometimes, but they don't fill me up enough. In the summer, these smoothies are just perfect.
