Popeyes chicken is my favorites. Really no needs to rave because the chicken speaks for its self. The manager at this restaurant should be commended. A individual that appears to be homeless tried to pretend he had not received his order. It is easy to assume this person did not pay or really could not pay. I was going to buy him some chicken, but the manager gave him a couple pieces of chicken and a side. She gained my respect.

mmm Popeyes. Make sure you check in on yelp when you get there, there may be an offer you can redeem. I really like the rice and beans and cajun fries and the spicy chicken There are tables to eat at and it is pretty spacious. I wouldn't recommend going with a big group but with a couple friends is fine. Plenty of parking spots. Located across Walgreens and in the same shopping center as Giant.

What can I say about Popeye's? In my opinion, Popeye's is, hands-down, the best fast food fried chicken. I also love their bisquits and side dishes. I like this particular Popeye's store. It's a small store in a strip mall, but the staff are always friendly, and the service is very quick and efficient. One more thing: I am a little bit obsessed with iced tea. To satisfy me, it must be a decent quality of tea, freshly brewed. Popeye's passes the tea test: their iced tea is always good!

In general, I'm a fan of Popeyes. Today's order was disappointing. I ordered the Catfish meal which is $7.29 plus tax in my market. What I received is three pieces of fish each about the size of a McDonald's chicken nugget. You can see the photo I posted, it looks like a joke. Catfish can be hard to get right, especially if it's been frozen, and these three pieces of fish were horrible. You could taste the frost on them. Slaw was fine, biscuit would be better used for hockey. I'll be back at Popeyes but I will not be ordering the catfish again.

I am writing this review in response to Michelle B. review about Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, located on 587 Hungerford Dr. I just want to say please stop spreading false rumors about businesses on internet. Specially, when you have no knowledge of the things that you're going to write review about. The Chicken you saw in the waste basket behind the cashier is old chicken. Popeyes Cooked Chicken is only held under the heat for 30-40 minutes and after it expires it goes to waste basket under the counter for wastage count (which you saw) and then in to the trash. Popeyes Restaurant is regularly inspected by either Popeyes Feld inspector or outside company 4-6 times a year and that does not include City and County Health Inspection. This restaurant averages between 300-330 customers a day and has almost 95% positive feedback. Those who are not satisfied with service or the food they get also, give us their honest feedback and we understand and respect their honesty and do our best to change the way we do business.

Yes, I'm the kind of fatty that will be driving down 355 at 7pm with groceries in the backseat and when I pass by a Popeye's, I'll be like "OH MAN...POPEYES!" and throw all my plans to cook dinner out the window. This Popeye's is in the little stripmall next to the Giant, on the corner where Mama Teriyaki is located. The space is super tiny (plan on getting stuff to-go...there were only 4 tables. The girl who took my order was super fast and efficient, but that's where the efficiency ended. The food took *forever* to come out (and I was the only other customer). 3 team members stood there, staring at the screen in confusion...evidently, 2peice chicken, spicy, with cajun fries and a biscuit was a *very* complicated order. Eh. The food finally came out, and it was delicious (as always). But man, that took forever.

It would be nice if the crew that works spoke better engrish. The cheap labor shows in the customer service I recieved. Good food though..

They have mild or spicy chicken; I've tried both. The spicy chicken just has a hint of spicy flavor, so it's great if you want an extra kick. But of course, if you're into spicy foods, you won't even taste the difference because it's too subtle. The managers' specials are a bargain! You can get a six-piece bucket for $6.99. The fries are amazing - crispy and seasoned. Another plus is you can go next door to the Asian Bakery called Bread Corner first to buy something, and then show your receipt to Popeye's for 10% off your entire order (It also works vice versa too!) When I crave fried chicken, this is the place to go!

Had trouble finding the appropriate yelp niche for this so wound up listing it under "food", then "speciality food" and finally "meat shop"... You'd think that with so many chicken shops in this area there would be a yelp category for just that: chicken! Okay,- all bitching aside, I think everyone know that what Macdonalds is to burgers, popeyes is to chicken: fast, cheap, and basic. (Update...yeah, that fast! Before I could post this review I got an error msg so now it's under "restaurants" and "chicken wings"....I wouldn't call Popeyes a "restaurant" (too dignified!) and they do sell or than "wings" but hey, I'm quibbling... This new one opened recently when the KFC just up the street closed down. Coincidence? I think not...plus there was a poster of customer satisfaction comparing KFC to Popeyes, and guess which one won? uh huh,- you got it!

My favorite comfort food, mac and cheese, meatloaf, Popeye's chicken and a bisket! I have to say this is the most interesting Popeye's. English was the first language of all the employees. I could actually understand them, major plus. The dinning area was about as big as my walk in closet. It was very busy and I am glad I got there just before the lunch hour or I would have never found a table since they only have about 8 tables.
