My work ordered a large order for lunch one day. When I opened my beef lo mein I found several long black hairs :( instant turn off. Won't be eating here again!

Arg, there was a deal on Living Social, I had a long day, did not feel like being the domistic goddes and ordered diner on line from Aisa Cafe. Yuck, the hubby got Kung Pow chicken, it was mostly veggies with a pinch of chicken. No spice or pow. I orderred sweet and sour chicken, I got slivers of chicken encrusted in a thick fried dough, white rice and the sauce.... whats missing..... no vegies. Don't waist your money.

I ended up because of a living social deal and I can't say I will be going back. For chinese food, it was more expensive than others I have gone to. I got the heathlier steamed dish and it was suppose to come w/brown rice, but they gave me white instead. In addition it was super hard to find - They barely touch 1st street, so if you use an iphone or gps.. you will probably end up on a dead end across the street. Finally, I got the creeps walking into here. The lights were dim and flickering and I was the only one there during lunch time. If I hadn't paid beforehand, I would have run out of there without looking back.

WORST EVER Ordered General Taos chicken, Beef Teriyaki appetizer, chicken lo mien, crab wontons, Moo shu pork. While most of the food was about average, the lo mien had hardly any chicken, the beef teriyaki was small and dried out, , Most of all the General Tsos chicken was an embarrassment. It was small pieces, breading falling off, and it was orange in color with no sauce on it. And worst of all when I called to inquire, they protested that's how the make it 9unless ordered extra spicy, in which case it has a more saucy texture. unbelievable1!! (Also forgot requested chili oil).

Have been going here for a really, really long time. I've done delivery and pick up and never had an issue with them or their food. They know me there by now and I always get a wonderful greeting when I walk in. The food is great, prices are great, & service is great. I've been going here since like 1993 and never had an issue. Always accommodating and very good food. I live close by but in a difficult little dead end street to find and they've always been quick with delivery from day one. The delivery person (there have been different ones) has probably only called two times for help finding my house since I started getting food from here. I highly recommend them.

The food was so bad. The crispy shrimp said breaded and fried but didn't mention not peeled. Who breads shrimp in its shell? For 12.95 I got iceberg lettuce, pieces of onion and three shrimp I wouldn't eat. The fried rice...never mind. Just never mind.

Reasonably priced, convenient hours, and decent food. Wouldn't suggest eating in, but not bad for carry out or delivery

So, I have ordered from there a few time before in times of desperation...delivery only...and the food has always been mediocre at best. The food always ALL tastes the same, I don't know why, Anyways, tonight I was super craving something bad for me and wanted something greasy so I ordered from AC again. but THIS time I get a call from one of the ppl that work there and he tells me "next time order from somewhere closer to you because you are outside our delivery zone" um. excuse me?? what kind of business strategy is that?? and how does that make sense when I have ordered from there with NO "zoning" issues before? So that's that. I wont order from you anymore. ever again. Btw I posted a screenshot of the totally crazy text the delivery guy sent me after I complained! PSYCHO!

I don't know where to begin. I placed an order for Asia Cafe through Grubhub. The entire experience was a disaster. When the order was delivered, it was missing one item. I called the restaurant to inform them and they argued that they sent the order that Grubhub faxed them. They refused to send the missing item, which I paid for, so I called Grubhub. By this point, I am furious at the level of customer service that Asia Cafe has provided. After speaking to several Grubhub reps, I was provided a refund. Then we tasted the food. The pan fried dumplings were doughy and tasted uncooked. The Kung Pao Chicken was bland and over loaded with crunchy vegetables. The Crispy Beef tasted of flour and had no sauce. They forgot or do not provide fried wonton strips for the Hot and Sour Soup. Lastly, the Shrimp Fried Rice was bland. I will never order from Asia Cafe again. From poor quality service to the poor quality food, our experience was a complete thumbs down.

I've ordered delivery from here a few times through living social and beyondmenu.com . They are a solid 3/5 stars. As an American Chinese food restaurant, they're average at best. The food is hit or miss. I like their double pork and the Egg Drop soup is edible. I didn't like their fried dumplings though, pretty bland. My coworker likes the Shrimp Hunan style there too. They're always pretty fast with the delivery too. I doubt I would come here to dine in though. The food just isn't good enough for me, but then I always say I'm a chinese food snob.

I ordered food online and it arrived in about half an hour. The szechuan chicken was delicious! The hot and sour soup could've been better, but it was still good.

Absolute crap. We got delivery from here, spent 28 bucks on General Tsao shrimp and crispy duck and literally threw it away because it wasn't eatable. Don't waste your time or money! If I could give zero stars I would. This is absolutely horrible.

I order takeout from Asia Cafe a few times a month, and have never been disappointed -- their food is better than restaurant-quality, but at a great price (always enough leftovers for another meal). Their coconut curries are fantastic -- I especially love their red curry loaded with fresh veggies & tofu and served with brown rice, a great healthy vegetarian option! Highly recommend.

My son and I live within walking distance of Asia Cafe and we order their food at least twice per week. It is fantastic chinese and malaysian food. The owner knows us well and knows our taste!

Their food was cheap and decent, and they were particularly nice. Usually when I call at 9:55 PM, 5 minutes before a Chinese restaurant closes, they never pick up. This place opened a bit later and offers brown rice! I asked them to steam my food instead of fry it, and they did so nicely.

Some of the Malaysian dishes were good but the last time we ordered there, there was hair in the food -- gross!

Some places are located off the beaten path. Well this place is on a beaten path in a beaten down strip plaza that also has a run down liquor store and 7-11 and a little Indian Masala place. I guess the rent in Burgundy Park Shopping Center is dirt cheap cause I have never seen this place spruced up, no new paint job, no new signs, no repaving of the parking lot, nothing hasn't changed in at least 25 years. I've been driving past this place since I can remember this time I went in. Tiny inside with a set of two tables enough to seat eight people and three chairs to sit when waiting for carry out. It is geared for mostly carry out. At the register there was a very cute collage age girl with a nice bright smile ready to help but then the phone ringed and she was replace by an older none smiling man with wrinkles. He took my order of Singapore Rice Noodle which consist of shrimp, chicken pork and rice. While waiting I had a chance to look a the full menu not just the pictures from the wall. What a nice little variety they have a few different things that you don't see on your typical Chinese carryout. Items like Moo Shu shrimp with pancake or squid even. Hunan Squid, Squid with garlic sauce, Kung Poa Squid etc. They have lunch special Mon-Sat to 3pm for $5.95 and dinner specials for $7.25 good cheap eats. I'm liking this little place more with these prices. But what I didn't expect was that they have Malaysian food here as well. Not too many places serve Malay this really has my attention now. Everything from Penang Char Koay Teow (flat noodles with shrimp squid in a chili sauce) to Buah Mango (chicken or shrimp in spicy mango sauce). More points to them for this nice selection of Malay food. So I get my carry out and onward home I go. The food still hot after almost 20 mins by the time I arrive at the homestead. The taste of the Singapore noodles not bad at all could use a little more spice to give some zing not too much for this type of dish but just a little I put on a little soy sauce and that does the trick. Not bad little hole in the wall and great inexpensive prices. I shall return for the Malaysian food next time now that I know.

This Chinese food is great! Their delivery is quick, there customer service is great, and it is super cheap for the size and quality of the meal! We have ordered from here plenty of times, and it is always satisfactory!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
