Service is SUPER SLOW. Waitress was super nice. If you don't mind the wait, its your typical breakfast.

They are closed for good. Closed closed closed closed. There is something new called Golden Griddle that's going in its place

I'm not surprised this place closed down. If the bathroom is the first thing you smell upon entering, you have problems. The food was OK -- it was IHOP, fer chrissakes! The staff was usually friendly, and I feel bad for them.

If I could give 0 stars this would be it. The bathroom stinks all the way into the restaurant. Our food was brought out in stages and not all at once. My steak omelet was boiled meat, my hash browns where cold and crisp and burnt on the outside. English muffin was burnt. My kids ordered pancakes and eggs with a side of bacon and sausage. Only the pancakes came out. It took an additional 24 minutes to get a refill and the eggs. Then an additional 7 more minutes to get the bacon and sausage. Man. What a horrible way to spend our first breakfast in MD. APPARENTLY they had a flood in the kitchen. Aka they should have closed for the day. SMH. Still won't go back

This is my first time coming to an IHOP in Maryland and i am a bit disappointed. The waitress was nice and service was quick but the food was subpar. After about 3 minutes the food became cold and. Who ever the chef was did not take into account how hot food should be.

The food is good but the wait staff is rude and this place needs to be closed for a few days and cleaned top to bottom. We love the pancakes but won't eat there because of the dirt. One last thing that really bugs me.. The eggs are the tiniest eggs I've ever seen and they can't cook an over medium to save their a$$.. Get it together IHOP

This IHOP doesn't get any stars from me. First off, when I first enter the place, there's a damp dingy smell throughout the entire place. Secondly, once I was seated I noticed they had flies flying everywhere and the place just didn't look clean. I've been to several IHOPs but this one by far is the worst. If you're looking for a hot meal in a clean environment, this place isn't for you.

Not quite certain about all of the hardcore bad reviews of this place. To me, it was a pretty standard issue IHOP. It was a little smaller, I suppose, but it wasn't very busy when I was there so that wasn't at all a negative. Our server was homey and pleasant enough, the menu was industry-standard. Food came out quickly and was nice and hot. Coffee kept coming. Everything you want when you only care enough to stop at an IHOP. Definitely A-OK.

I should start by saying that I like IHOP. With that out of the way... This place is bad. It was the smelliest restaurant I've ever been in. I nearly choked as I sat down. Not sure what the smell was. Not BO, not cooked food, not perfume. Maybe filth. The place certainly was dingy. They tried to feed me burnt pancakes. I sent them back, of course, and when the waitress brought more, she dropped them on the table and scurried away before I could say a word. Guess she thought I couldn't send them back again if she wasn't around. To top it off, the employees were barely civil. Bottom line: You'll want to skip this place.

My date and I went there in the morning we had to wait up to 5-8 mins to be seated by the waitress! No smile! No greetings! No name tag nor she introduced herself! My omelette was good, but my GF's Waffle was cold and hard, she asked for fresh one! The place was clean but bug was flying on the table! However I would only rate it as so so!!!

Warning: this is a smaller than average IHOP! It took over 5 minutes to get seated in a half empty restaurant. Our waitress was very nice but her service wasn't that good. Food took a long time to come and wasn't hot, the strawberries on my brioche French toast were almost frozen in the middle (cold topping on warm French toast makes for cold French toast very quickly). Coffee tasted old and never was replaced even though we were all drinking it. Our food didn't come out all at once, but in batches; there was only 3 of us! Took almost an hour and a half from walking in to walking out, on a Monday morning. I will never go back to this one.

IHOP should be known by most people now. Anyways the food is however fresh it is for IHOP standards I mean fresh frozen, fresh thawed, something along those lines. Maybe the cooks are back there whipping up fresh food but mmmm, probably not. So, the service can be iffy sometimes it just depends on your timing. For most of the time I get good service in a timely fashion, but sometimes I have issues with the temperature of the food not being hot enough. I've sent food back to the kitchen to be reheated before but that just iritated me more. Everytime I come here I keep my fingers crossed and just about everytime you ask for well done sausage, it is never well done. Oh well, that's why I make my own at home most mornings. I ordered the stuffed french toast with cream cheese filling and strawberry sauce on top with whipped cream, home fries and bacon. I ate it and it is practically the exact same everytime I go. IHOP serves more than pancakes and bacon they have sandwiches, crepes, steak, blah blah blah, I'd say stick with the breakfast food. One time I got the steak dinner and the steak was pretty thin and fatty, not worth ordering again. I used to get the liver and onions but I shy away from that too because I don't want to chew on too much fat. The pancakes are good too. They celebrate National Pancake Day every year which offer a free short stack of pancakes, they are super crowded when this event is going on. Look for it once a year.

Very friendly staff, very quick service, but not in a rush. Clean and comfortable. Best IHOP experience I've had.

It's IHOP with wonderful service and piping hot food. The menu is standard IHOP fare that we all know and love. This one is clean, quiet with a super evening cook who can cook eggs right!

I had the chicken fried steak and it was actually pretty good! Price was on point and service was fast and courteous. My only complaint was IHOPS weak coffee. Other than that, it was great!

Honestly, it's not like I expect, in this day and age, people to not know what an IHOP is. I expect they know the food, they know the menu. They can probably order without looking at the menu. They probably came in for an old favorite, or because they saw some new ad on tv that piqued their interest, and they had to come in and try it. I write this review then as a warning to such a person. No one is on Yelp to find out what an IHOP is, they already know. I write this in a desperate, there-may-be-no-other-way-to-warn-you kind of way. As a way to save even one person, someday, many years from now, maybe, from an openly dismal dining experience. Just. Go. Somewhere. Else. For the record, I know this location is bad. My mother, who seems to love it, just had a doctor's appt, and really wanted to go. Yes, under those circumstances, I agreed to park the car. Then, while doing so, made one last effort to convince her to go somewhere else. No dice. The place isn't clean. It isn't Oscar The Grouch's trash can, but it isn't clean. There's a smell. It is...unpleasant. I find it to be "small flying buggy" too. Only saw one this visit. But it's not like I did a full CSI analysis of the place. Probably better that I don't... The hostess did acknowledge we were there. We were waiting for my wife to come in. We were a party of 3. She was ready to not seat us until our party was all there (in an establishment that was half empty) when my wife walked in. We were then seated. Next to 3 tables of small children. *sigh* We waited 11 minutes for a server. Yes, I looked. Then he came by, and said he'd be over in a minute. It took 3, he was close. He did apologize for the wait. He was waiting at least 8 tables. I could sympathize, but I didn't like it. We ordered right away. Some 2 pancake, egg, hash brown, bacon combo for 5 bucks. I asked for double hash browns, cooked well, crispy bacon, and everything else the way it comes. 17 minutes later, I got somewhat cooked hash browns (they weren't cold, but not what I ordered), luke warm limp bacon, and two pancakes with butter. In fairness, my mother loved the meal. Know also that she's easily satisfied. Any warm gruel would seem to fit her bill, as clearly it did in this instance. She remarked "Mmmm, that was good." My wife and I were mystified. I think she actually laughed at my mother. It's ok, she deserved it. In summation - The waiter sucked. The hostess sucked. The place is dirty. The food was both "cheap and inexpensive" (which is a silver lining, I suppose; better than it being expensive and tasting like the incorrectly cooked crap it was. And I use "cooked" loosely, it was essentially either heated or reheated, not cooked). It was a truly lousy experience, and one that I've had duplicated at this location several times. I'm not anti-IHOP. It is what it is, and I'm happy to frequent a good location. I might actually enjoy it. The location in Cockeysville remains a staple for my family. Not this one though. Save the money, and the drive. Go somewhere else, or cook at home. Or bring a lot of hand sanitizer, and low expectations. In that instance, you'll have them barely fulfilled, and will walk out cleaner than when you walked it.

I've been to over a dozen ihops in my day. The service was quick and courteous but the food was Ho hum. I would return to try the rest of the menu if the food had been executed correctly. Instead of trying this place again I'll stick to cooking at home.
