Been to one chipotle you been to them all. Everything looks the same and the lines look like they are giving away free money insteaf of burritos you have to pay for. That said I like this locatiom because the line keeps moving and when I say a lot of sour cream I actually get a lot of sour cream and not the puzzled looks at some other locations

What can I say...its chipotle. You either are one of those people who absolutely love it or hate it. I used to be the one who loved it, but I have scaled back recently. I would always get their pork which I understand why they can not have it anymore and applaud them for sticking to their moral standards. This location always has a super long line which I guess is normal for a chipotle. My only one bad experience I had with this place is that I am pretty sure (like 95%) that I got food poisoning from this place from uncooked chicken. I noticed the food tastes extra salty and then noticed that my chicken wasn't even fully cooked. Unfortunately I was already out of the restaurant and couldn't take it back. And like clock work that night...but I have been back since and haven't had any other problems.

Great food as always. The mild salsa had a little bit more of a kick tonight which really brought out the spice in the steak and beans. Altogether a good "meal".

Lines are always long but don't let that discourage you, they are always quick and efficient! Even on a day like today with a field trip of high schoolers!

I come here frequently as I love Chipotle. However, today I noticed some scary sanitation issues. 1) the girl who starts the burrito/bowl/salad process wiped her nose and eye with her gloves on and then proceeded to make food using the cross-contaminated gloves. 2) the girl working at the end of the line used her gloved hand to write on the container, open the refrigerator, and handle other non-food items then used that same gloves hand to handle lettuce and cheese toppings etc... Using no utensil. That would have been fine had she not touched so many communal non-food items. 3) lemons were absolutely disgusting I'm going to be a lot more vigilant when going here in the future. I may even call the board of health.

It's a chain so it's not but so many stars. I don't understand why you enter an order online which is to be ready at one time to avoid the wait but you wait because the order isn't ready. It's not the first time with this location. I place Corporate orders and it's not ready. This time the excuse was the person at the end of the line was new. However everyone is always new. Maybe it's the youth here. I've gone to locations in Columbia and even NYC with lines out the door that move faster than this location with a line of 6. It's unfortunate because I'm sure there are some kids out here who need a job with a lot more "Pep" in their step than here.

6/26/14 If you like or eat at Chipotle there isn't much to really say about the food.....IT'S GOOOOODD!! So I will be focusing on the location and service. This place is located in Pikesville in the shopping center with various other businesses. There is plenty of parking but the parking lot can be tricky at times. When we walked in there was a short line but it was moving pretty quick. When I got up front to place my order the staff was quick and friendly. I was able to use my buy on get one coupon that my sister and I got from the Great Grapes Wine Festival: SCORE!!! So we got two burrito bowls and drinks for $10!! WHAT WHAT!! Lol! The store had plenty of seating and was clean and organized with some cool Aztec wall sculptures. Pretty cool store.

It's Chipotle. Nuff said. There's tons of ways you can fix your burrito, burrito bowl, salad, tacos. Chicken, sofrito, steak, pork, or veggie. Sour cream and guacamole are always nice extras. Chipotle always makes me smile. The line is always long but it's so worth it.

Probably the worst chipotle ever. There's always a line outside of the door and you spend 20-30 minutes for parking. The owners need to consider building a second location in the Pikesville / Owings mills location. Food taste the same as any other location. This place tends to run out of chicken quickly for some reason. Staff is NOT friendly.

Below average service. I saw 2 servers roll their eyes and smack their teeth when a question is asked by someone who clearly wasn't a frequent chipotle customer. They flung and slammed the bowls around like they didn't care. The cashier was friendly though!

The worst managed and maintained chipotle I have ever been to. Then again, it's chipotle so it's difficult to completely ruin the magical experience.

This branch does better with in person orders than it does with online orders. Typically I find something either missing or barely added to my meal, even with side requests such as add extra ___. Over all the food is about on par for a Chipotle. The recent price hike for all Chipotle stores was a bit of a shock.

Great location, iffy service and food. Every Chipotle I've ever visited has a long line but it moves quickly. Not here. The line is unbearably slow & the food never worth the wait. The place seems fully staffed, but the people don't have the same efficiency as at other Chipotles. The food is not as tasty & flavorful as at other Chipotle restaurants I've been to. Why am I here? I'm tired from shopping and it's here.

Lines are always ridiculous , but this chipotle does give hefty portions in comparison to others in the area

I am a fan....although by my third visit I was chipotled out.....love the freshness of the toppings and the speed of the service...what is a bit annoying is paying extra for things like guacamole that should come standard in a place like this...also, the portion size of the meat is not enough...I always find myself and several other customers requesting more meat....lots of veggies though but verrrrrry liitle meat...that is a bit annoying, and one of the reasons that I have not returned in the last month despite the fact that we live right down the street.....

Great job tonight. I ordered online and they were a tad backed up but they handled it quickly and with a smile. I never get rice and rarely get beans in my bowls and so I always request extra fajita veggies. Seems fair. I usually don't get the extra. But tonight I did. Thanks! (Huge Chip fan btw).

Literally the worst chipotle in America. I'm giving it one star because it's chipotle and well, fresh non gmo and usually food is good. The service is horrendous. We keep going back thinking, maybe it will be ok, how can it possibly be as bad as last time? Well it's always bad, we have resorted to going to qdoba for our chipotle cravings but it's not the same and it kills me because I want to support the chipotle brand but the Pikesville one is painful. The line is out the door even at odd times and for the amount of people working the counter you would think it would be quick. Wrong. They usually are chatting it up amongst themselves, not listening to your requests. I have to repeat myself several times about what to put in my order. Which isn't that complicated. When asked for a tiny bit of sour cream it gets glopped on as if I hadn't even made the request. The tables are usually filthy and there's always an employee or two eating at one of them... Ignoring the mess. The bathroom is disgusting. I wish I could go back one day and the whole regime has changed but each time it gets worse and worse. I'm usually not very picky about customer service because I've learned, what's the point in owings mills/pikesville? It's usually sub par wherever you go around here but this chipotle takes the cake.

Everyone leaves satisfied and the long lines to the door prove the successful flavor combinations. Buritto, salad bowl, tacos, have it your way at Chipotle. You pick your choice of meat from chicken, beef and if not you can get it vegetarian style. The toppings are your choice too from mild to spicy salsa, sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, rice or beans, etc...you'll see the options when you get there and decide for yourself. Chipotle claims to have earth friendly products too with recycled bags and what not. I love Chipotle for their oversized burritos, but everyone has their opinions.

It physically pains me to give a Chipotle less than 5 stars. I am what can only be referred to as a Sultan of Salsa, Prince of Peppers (and onions), a burrito connoisseur if you will. I shake my head at those indecisive in line, the point-and-shouters, and that one white guy who always tries to order in Spanish. Although nothing is wrong with the freshness of ingredients at this Chipotle, the long lines are a direct result of assembly inefficiency. I graduated from UMD, home to the 2nd highest grossing Chipotle in the country. Lines would be out the door daily, but it would take no more than 7-9 minutes at the most to get to the front. Here, however, the line is slow, can't communicate, and runs short of inventory as the logistics with the kitchen are not in sync. I give the manager credit for being hands on when he can, but Chipotles across the country have figured out how to expedite lines and we need that focus here. Though this Chipotle is relatively new, amateur hour ends after your rookie year. We can get better, faster, and stronger. Faster lines = more customers = more money.

everyone who works at this chipotle sucks at their job. before you go in make sure your vocals are warmed up, because you'll be repeating yourself over and over because no one actually listens or cares about what you're ordering. the soda/utensil area is consistently filthy. if this wasn't the closest one to my house I would never go. Love chipotle, hate this location.

This is what fast food was meant to be .... awesome ingredients... the way you want it ... assembly line style so you can see everything first hand on what's going into your burrito or salad or taco ... I got the veggie burrito with black beans, brown rice and all the fixins' ! It was a massive burrito and delicious. I like how it's super simple and their menus are right up there easy to read. I like how they put information on the menu, such as if items have been cooked with meat or whatnot ... (like the beans.. get the black beans if you are veggie/vegan). The line can be long, but it generally goes pretty quickly. This location is very cool, one of the few fast food places that I wouldn't mind sitting down and eating at. Nice music too. Good job Chipotle ! (hmm. one thing. why don't the assembly line staff where hair nets? I would prefer if they did, is that just me?)

Chipotle is cheap and good, and this location is no exception. I'm downgrading it by one star because the line is completely ridiculous almost every time I go here. If you haven't tried Chipotle, even if you're a vegetarian, try it (they can make very good veggie tacos). Most people have so it's not like this needs a lot of analysis.

Waiting time seemed pretty average to me. The staff was friendly enough. Only downside to this location is that parking can sometimes be hard to find, and so can seating inside the restaurant. Otherwise, great.

Okay, so I LOVE Chipotle, but I do not love this Chipotle. It might sound crazy, but I feel like the newer locations take longer to get into the Chipotle groove. This was especially evident to me back when I used to always order a burrito. The new employees would not know how to properly wrap the burrito and/or place the ingredients. The burrito would be sloppy and not that good in comparison to the ones at the older locations which were always on point. This is the issue I have at this Chipotle. My burrito bowls are never that good, and I always feel like I've missed out on the total Chipotle experience. They are sloppily made, and there's never the right balance of ingredients. I prefer to get my Chipotle on at the St. Paul Street location where my burrito bowls make me disgustingly full and happy - not moderately full and kind of sad.

Service and portion wise, this location is on point. Quality wise, not so much. I've tried this location twice in the past three months and both times I was disappointed. The first time, I got the steak which was so fatty that I couldn't finish my burrito bowl without picking fat out of my mouth after every bite. I get it, fat on steak helps it maintain it's tenderness and flavor but this was just gross. Then the mild salsa was just missing something or had too much green pepper as that was all I could taste. I figured whoever prepared the food was just off their game and tried this location again last night. Nothing changed. I even did half chicken half steak this time to broaden my horizons so to speak and the steak was still fatty. The chicken was burnt as well and the mild salsa was still sub par. This makes me sad as this is one of the more efficient chipotles I have been in and keep the line moving quickly.

Food is great. Always has been. But the service I have noticed has dropped over the last 2 weeks. I am a weekly customer so I noticed that when am item is running low on the food line, it used to be replenished immediately. That is not happening any longer and causes a delay in servicing those waiting in line. Also noticed that the regular employees are not there. Found out that the manager was recently moved to another restaurant. Looks like I will be going to another Chipotle.

So your food's good once you get it... but this Chipotle is the least efficient I've ever been to. There are frequently long lines, but that's been fine a other locations, in my experience. The problem here is that the lines don't move. If it's backed up to the door, expect to wait 30 minutes - it'd probably be 10 at any other Chipotle I've been to. Argh. Hey, at least it gave me time to type this on my stupid android touch screen - I think this is the first time I haven't waited to get to my laptop. Also, I got to say "good luck" in a long suffering tone to the lady last in the even longer line, and she got to say "Thanks." even more gloomily. That kind of human experience bonding is golden.

Chipotle, because I consider you the "food of the gods", you're judged on a whole different level. Sorry I'm not sorry... it's just because you're so damn good! This location definitely doesn't rank as one of the faster Chipotles, so I'll knock off half a star for that. The other half came off because they don't use white corn in their corn salsa! Instead its made with the yellowest of corns, making it a bit too sweet for my taste. For real though, I love you Chipotle. No hard feelings?

I love this chipotle because 1. The area is nice and the store appearance is attractive. 2. The inside is not that bad, its okay. 3. They put alot of each ingredient that i tell them to put in. Bad things are, u cant eat outside, and its not really clean. But the food is good so i like this chipotle.

I almost did 3 stars. I love Chipotle but this location sucks. You've prob read about the ridiculous long lines which is true. I usually have to wait 20-30 mins to get through. What makes me even angrier is the quantity of the food that the people there serve. I always get a fajita bowl w/guac. It's $9.25 and I barely get food at times. So even if you ask for more they usually charge you for it. It is so not worth close to $10. Chipotle is a bit of a healthier option compared to what's around the area besides Panera which is why I come here often. I used to be able to split the bowl into 2 lunches which made it a great bargain but now I'm just angry. The worker's are slow and stingy.

The food is good. The service is pretty good. However, they are extremely stingy with meat (this is the worst location in terms of the amount of meat they give). The line is always long but I order online so I don't deal with that.

  • XI X.

The food is the same as at other stores. No surprises. Consistent. I think that is the reason for chains. The service is something else. The staff seems like they much rather be doing something else, which I understand but still. Plus at busy times they really need to have someone go around and just wipe the tables after people finish.

Chipotle has Tofu. Never tried until the other day. To my surprise it is good. Everybody go and check out the Tofu at Chipotle! Of course the other things on the menu are good also. For my Vegan friends this is just another good option to have when getting something in the go.

I love Chipotle, but this location has the longest lines! I usually avoid the lines by ordering online, but they have confused my orders twice!!

  • Saliha B.

Gotta love Chipotle!!! Fresh, organic ingredients, made fast and to order. Love the bowls and usually get that now instead of the burritos because the burritos are just wayyy too big and cumbersome to eat. After all you can always get the wrap on the side to eat with the bowl. Chips are salted well and taste great with the guacamole or the hot salsa (which is very spicy and tasty).

  • Marianne S.

What? Only one review? Are you serious? But it's Chipotle! And it's DELICIOUS and the staff there is super friendly and the music is always out of the ordinary (they play Radiohead for example). I would recommend this place in a heartbeat. Only downsides (hence the 4 stars instead of 5): (1) during lunch/dinner time, the place can be insanely crowded (that would be because it's delicious!) and (2) the temperature is usually fairly low (I complained to the boss about it once but it's still the same: they're blasting the AC).

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
