If you enjoy playing pool on really good tables, this place has them. Nice pro cut pockets will definetly test your stroke! Also, for $5.00 dollars you can shoot from 10am till 6pm mon thru Fridays. That is really a great deal. Nice friendly people and plenty of room around those tables. I will definetly be back to shoot pool, it worth the trip from severna park.

We love to come here every once in a while for some pool. The place is clean, the price is good, and the staff is friendly. Not much else to say here, but if you want somewhere to play some pool for a reasonable price, come here. Be aware that there's no alcohol though, but it's probably a good thing in trying to keep the place kept up.

Would I travel across town to visit here? No. Would I come here for a chill time during the week with the boo? Sure, why not. Satyr Hill has a good amount of tables (there's a front AND back section), is well lit and has televisions not only spaced throughout the hall but there's also a big screen in a separate viewing room where you can sit and eat food off of their basic menu (and I do mean basic). The prices for games (pool or otherwise) are extremely reasonable. There's a small arcade section in the back, (score for having Ms. Pac Man :), an air hockey table and a few ping pong tables in the way way back. Apparently they even have pingping tourneys! Although the women's restrooms were fine, the general cleanliness comes in question on the games and tables. For example, the air hockey knobs were FILTHY and there were layers of dinge in noticeable common areas. Perhaps my last visit was in between their annual wipe down? One last thing, if you like to drink a brewski while shooting, this isn't your place. There's no alcohol served AND you can't BYOB.

Ah yes, the old pool hall hangout. Top Hat is still around after all these years, even with a makeover of sorts. I look at Top Hat as your local neighborhood hangout; nothing upscale or elegant. With that said though, that makes the experience that much better. There is no "let's try to be a restaurant and masquerade as a bar" routine, it's a straight-up pool hall holding nearly 20+ pool tables. Due to the upgrade in pool tables, Top Hat now charges $3.50/hour/per player rather than the old $2.75 price. Either way, that's a great value to play pool for a couple of games and watch some TV on the big screens that are available within the establishment. If you're feeling hungry during your time of crushing the competition on the billiard cloth, Top Hat serves quick food (e.g. hot dogs, hamburgers), while you can try your good luck by maneuvering over to the vending machines. I don't expect a lot as far as food goes at TH, but it can hold you over for the mean time. So...what if someone in your crew doesn't want to play pool? Well, there's two separate rooms, one for arcade games, while the other is for table tennis ($3.50/hour/pp) and air hockey. Many of the new gadgets were just added about a year ago, so they should be in good shape. Top Hat is still one of my favorite places to come to shoot pool, even if I'm not living in the area anymore. I'll make another visit when I ready to win a couple games in Parkville.

My first pool joint and this was a decent place. It's bright and has enough pool tables. The cool part about this pool hall: it's not a place where you would find obnoxious drunks. In addition to the pool tables, they have air hockey, ping pong and arcade games. The prices are cheap and everyone wants to have fun or practice their pool game. They also have a snack bar if you get hungry. This place is worth a try if you are in the area.

I guess I really didn't need a beer or something to snack on... but if you're looking for a clean, quiet, open spot to have some fun with a friend or few, then Top Hat covers it. I was in town for the night and felt comfortable just chillin here and playin some pool & ping pong. A bonus as always was the juke box... pretty healthy selections. Parking was cool and it was around a mall/plaza area so the awareness factor was there. I'd return again for sure if I was around.

The Top Hat Cue Club is an affordable and average spot to rack your balls and whip out a stick. Plentiful pool tables, a polite crowd, great price and a comfortable atmosphere make this my pool hall of choice. The staff is always friendly and a table is always available. Unfortunately no booze is allowed at Top Hat, the lighting is bright, and the music is bad. As a result I find myself becoming bored/ satisfied and only staying about an hour every visit. Fortunately, unlike other pool halls you will find more than just pool here, A few arcade machines, air hockey and ping pong are also available. With the addition of a BYOB policy at Top Hat I could see myself spending more time here otherwise I prefer playing pool at a bar.

It's cheap, it's fun, the people that work there are polite and personable. So why not?
