This Chipotle doesn't answer the phone. After you call the number 301-570-1729 and listen to the phone ring for about 10 times ia voice mail message says "Please enter your remote access code" Try it you'll get disgusted as well. Approximately 3 weeks ago I used my iPhone app to order food for take out. After entering my credit card number I received a response that my food would be ready for pick up in approximately 1 hour. Really for a fast food restaurant. Suffice it to say the owner of this store needs to know about how his potential customers are being treated. This is 2015, not 1976!.

This Chipotle is really no different than those found anywhere else; if you like the food at the others, you'll like it here too. McDonalds did a good job at building 100s of these stores before backing out of the Tex Mex market. Personally, I feel the food is unremarkable but fine if you need a quick double-fisted burrito and have no plans to eat anything else for the rest of the day. The burritos are tortilla-splitting huge. I prefer the choices (and hot sauce selection) across the street at California Tortilla, but at least here you get to see the assembly line constructing your food and have some say how you want things thrown together. In the end, Tex Mex ingredients never vary much. The place is clean. The service is pretty quick. If the weather's nice you can sit outside and watch the traffic pile up. The parking behind the building is a bit congested, but not too bad. One of the nice things about the location is that if some of your party isn't interested in Tex Mex (I'm looking at a certain kid as I type this), there's a Five Guys next door. Not a bad place to grab a burrito when you're in a rush, but there are other options...

This is a great place for fresh Mexican food.the wait can be a little much but it is basic good fresh, and reasonable.it's a go to when u don't have time to cook and want food that is quick and relatively healthy.

Just like any other chipotle, its good and its big. I like it other than the fact that its a long line everytime but its no ones fault. I also like that its next to a Five guys. Music can be loud but I dont mind it.

It's average when it comes to a Chipotle. I don't remember the service being exceptional as I ordered, but I was later pleased with the staff. I was meeting a friend at this location. We hadn't seen each other in over four years, so needless to say we were busy talking. The next thing I knew it was almost 10:30pm. The restaurant closed at 10pm. They had been busy cleaning up, but they never mentioned that they were closed and didn't try to make us leave. I was surprised by that, but obviously really appreciated it.

This location for both service and food is very up and down...the lack of consistency is pretty well known and drive locals crazy. One day you can order something and its fine but the next time with another server making your food it can be a completely different experience. Burritos are not cheap and to see how they barely put ingredients on when you only pick one or a few toppings is a heart breaker. Seating area was not clean at all on this trip. We had to clean an area to sit down for a group of four which happens more than it should. The lines are always very very long and with only 5 people working on a busy Friday night, that didnt help matters. When we ordered, two of us wanted crispy taco shells = needed six shells and they told us they only had 1. They asked us if we wanted a burrito instead and after waiting in that long line the answer was would appreciate getting what we wanted and how long was the wait - the server named Rosa jumped into the conversation and was having nothing to do with what we wanted and gave us a look after we didnt agree w her burrito offer that went right thru us with our kids in tow - wow! Another server offered us soft shells or wait for 10 mins until they heated up more up and they took our order and after asking the cashier for her name, she shouted down the line "Rosa"...and we sat down while everyone else in our group ate and we waited. The tacos were fine once we got them but needless to say the way they handled their own mistake and the following service was disappointing at best.

I wish that you could give negative stars for this establishment! !! I was absolutely disgusted once I left! All over the website, Chipotle has something in honor of teacher appreciation. I went through the line and ordered my meal. I went to the register to pay. I showed them my idea and I was informed that they were not participating. When I looked on the website, there was nothing to indicate that there were some restaurants that were not participating. They could have a sign or something letting people know that they are not participating! ! They lure you in to get your food and don't say anything until you go to pay. That is very dishonest! You just lost a good customer! There are many other Mexican restaurants in the Olney area! I will also send something to the corporate office.

The Olney, MD location is conveniently located at the corner of 108 & Georgia Ave. it is noisy and parking can be a pain at times but it's chipotle, not a five star restaurant. The veggie burrito is delicious. Staff is friendly and sweet!

It's a Chipotle, so there's not much special about it, but the workers here are generally friendly and they make food quickly and well. I like this spot.

The food is okay thus far, but sometimes you must ask for more even though they barely gave you what your paying for and the corn can vary in color once in a while. Parking is a little far, yes it true but get over it. You just have to look more and actually park good and not crossways. Second, other Chipotle's give a lot more food for the same amount of money. In Olney, don't place a large order though for lunch at work like I did. They managed for the last 4 times to screw it up last year when its been faxed over and they still get upset if you say anything. I still go occasionally, but the Aspen Hill location is better!

The music is so loud, you have to make an effort to maintain a conversation with the person next to you... but since the people in Olney all seem to have their heads shoved pretty far up their a**es, I don't ever eat inside anyway. The food is all good except for the steak - always undercooked - and the chips - rarely enough salt, usually overcooked. BUT the staff is always friendly and quick. And FYI, there's PLENTY of parking - just not right in front of their door. Are people in Olney also blind? Try parking in the lot that's almost always empty, about 200ft from the door. It's good exercise.

It's your average chipotle. It's good and you know what you can expect. Haven't had any problems with the food or the people there.

I've eaten at many different Chipotle locations, and they're pretty consistent at serving tasty, quick food. However, this particular location is now responsible for providing us with food poisoning (complete with a virus and flu-like symptoms). I know that sources of food illness are difficult to pin down, but the virus showed up within a couple days of eating here, and this was the only common meal that everyone affected had eaten.

Not exciting but good. It's Chipotle. Decent food. But boy is the music loud here. It's hard to have a conversation.

I love mexican food and I eat lunch in Olney nearly everyday. I have to say that the Olney Chipotle is the best Chipotle around. I've probably eaten in 20 of them and have one in my hometown, but I much prefer the Olney store. The mgmt, and staff do an excellent job of keeping things fresh and clean. The salsa is spot on every day.

With regard to Mexican food in. Olney, Cafe Rio is number 1, California Tortilla is number 2, and Chipotle a distant 3rd. Food is cold, interior looks like a jail, and music is way too loud.

Yayyyyyy! Chipotle in Olney!! finally!....The lines are long...kinda all Olney is there just when I crave for it!...on a rainy Sunday night! The parking is tight!!!.. Oh...get in a habit to ask for your guac on the side. A. I do not like the undetermined splatter they do B. You get more GUAC!!!! They need a sign about the beans, not the black ones..the other kind that is made with meat...I saved a lady behind me ordering a veggie salad just like mine and she was asking for the other beans...I guess I did my good deed for today...and saved the woman from messing up her diet! I love California Tortilla too and there will be yet another Mexican fast food place where Chicken Out was!!! Yay!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
