Great atmosphere and the BEST Old Bay wings ever!!!
Great wings.... Come on Monday's! They have a $0.39 wing deal that can't be beat. Some times the orders get a little backed up and are slow to the table but... There is also a really good pretzel, crab bread.
Had heard good things after moving to Maryland from Ohio and finally went tonight. Great atmosphere and the wings were amazing. Also got the soft pretzel appetizers and they were amazing as well. Will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone looking for a good wing place. Looking forward go going back to trying other items on their menu.

Good basic seafood at food good prices. An extra star just for the nearly 360 degree water view. Just a high tide away from being an island! Crab balls/cakes, shrimp, oysters all good choices. Basic sandwiches like club and burgers also good. Friendly service. Nice bar area. Dining room a little shabby bit views make up for it. Never a problem getting a table. Unfortunately too empty too often.
Best crab dip in MD...best al fresco waterfront dinning atmosphere in Southern MD....great crab cakes...go by water if you can...love this place...not cheap though.
Great view! Had the crabcakes and they were great. The beer is cold, the view is great and the crabcakes a hit. What else can you ask for in a river front place in so. MD. No crowded at all. Friendly staff. Would go back again and again.

I have been coming to Happy Dragon since I was about ohh, 8 years old. Now 26, after living in many different states all over the country, I still come back to Happy Dragon whenever I am home because the food is that good. I have never had a disappointing experience here. The wonton soup is delicious and every entree I have ever had was always good. I would say Happy Dragon and Szechuan Garden in Waldorf have the BEST chinese food in Southern Maryland.
I like the place. Nice environment. Good service. Classic Chinese-American food done well. Maybe a little pricey for the quality of food which was good but not particularly creative or wow.
Best hot an sour soup I have ever had.

Just sat by myself at the bar. Chicken chesesteake and mozzysticks. $13. Delicious and super cheap. Usually I come with my wife and we do the buffet thing on saturdays and oh my is it good. Sometimes, BLT with side of scrapple. Every single time, no matter what I get "It hits the spot." Update: I come here often and still do not understand how this place gets a less than 5 star review. I've traveled the east coast and the world, and this is still one of the best places to go for your money. I'd also like to point out there is a breakfast buffet, I will have to check the hours.
The place is clean, the hot food was served hot, the service was great, they can easily handle larger parties, and the food is fair. There is plenty of free parking. I rate them a 3+.
Just had the Sunday breakfast Buffett. Food was good, nothing to write home about and it was a little pricy. Buffet and coffee ran me $15+ after tax. But it is a great local business, clean and plenty of seating, so there was no problem getting a table, staff was friendly and responsive.

The Front Porch

22770 Washington St

Reviews:
We booked the Front Porch for my daughters First Communion party 7 months in advance. When we called to talk about the menu (only 6 weeks from the event), we were told that the restaurant is not open on Sundays and they would not be able to accommodate our reservation we made back in September. The manager had no empathy and dismissed our situation as if we were bothering him. Needless to say we are having a hard time finding a new venue and we will definitely not be going back there again. Eventually this poor / incompetent management will ruin this restaurant.
Perfect, will be having our wedding reception here. Don't disappoint please :))
Great ambiance, great service. I think 5 difference staff members came to check on my table. I wish it wasn't so hot the day when we ate there because it would be so great to sit out there on that lovely porch

I always have a great experience here. Great selection of pub style food and great drinks. The biggest drawback is that it has outgrown its space. There is almost always a wait and it is always crowded. But it's one of the few places I enjoy going out to around here.
We stopped in here for a casual brunch. It is a spacious place, was quiet (at 11 on a Sunday morning) and the service was great. Also, the food was wonderful. Definitely a place to add to the list.
Just watched the owner stir up poured beers to make them look fuller, instead of filling the glasses. It's empty in here.

Reviews:
I was born in Southern France and the Cafe des Artistes made me feel I was back in Provence. It is an authentic cafe and as we know all memorable cafes have their quirkiness. So the screen in front of the ac (another review) is actually a thoughtful and resourceful touch. Food was wonderful, efficient and friendly service. A nice experience.
The food is very different from anything else you can find in the area, but the preparation was so-so. I'll have to give it another shot before I completely make up my mind. The restaurant is kinda dingy. I sat next to an air conditioning intake that they tried to cover with a folding screen.
amazing- not a quick meal, but a lusciously prepared and altogether pleasing one. everything was A+...

Pho Saigon

Reviews:
I love pho and Vietnamese food in general so when I heard we were getting a pho restaurant minutes from my work I was overjoyed!!! So far I have been twice and I must say...,each time was disappointing to say the least... My husband and I went with another couple on opening night....overall we ended up sitting for two hours....service was sooo incredibly slow...the server later stated hes lost our order :(. So we re ordered but they had run out of the dish my husband wanted. We ended up taking the first dishes that came to our table...very very delicious...but very chaotic. A week ago a friend and I went for a nice lunchtime pho. I figured that opening night was chaotic...and the food was good so why not try again. Sadly our experience was awful....our server lost our order....never checked on us until I flagged him down and asked when our food might be coming out....he then stated (very apologetically) that the order was never put in. We ended up getting th order to go...which was a mistake. The food was not good...maybe because it was so quickly thrown together? I left a message for a manager but sadly never heard back. The people working here are super nice And th food seems decent...I just am super disappointed in the service :(. I hope it can work out for this restaurant. I'll give em one more go within the next few weeks to see if anything improves.
Adding a star Take out order .... food fabulous and fresh as always. The biggie though .... order all there and correct. I LOVE THIS PLACE
I started feeling a bit under the weather and really needed a good dose of some vietnamese soup. This was the only place I found in the area on Yelp, so options were scarce and decided to try it out. My two star rating is based on the following: Egg roll i tried was $3.99 for two small pieces....wayyyyy too overpriced for the portion and quality was mediocre. Bonbohue soup was okay but there was barely any meat in there and noodle was over cooked so it tasted like jello, when you bite into it. It was $10.99 for the soup. Again, wayyy to over priced. I guess they can set whatever prices they want since it is pretty much a monopoly around this area for vietnamese food. I do not plan to go back anytime soon, but if desperate enough I would order less expensive items so that I do not set my expectations too high.

Oga’s Asian Cuisine

22745 Washington St
Leonardtown, 20650
Reviews:
For the area, this restaurant is really four stars, since it's very difficult to find vegetarian-friendly cuisine. (Example: another area chain assumed we would want cheez-whiz on our broccoli, and the broccoli was the only thing on the menu it turned out we could even think about eating.) We found the interior of Oga's quite warm and inviting--intimate but sufficiently roomy for a brisk weekend crowd. Very clean too, and the prices were reasonable. Food quality good. Not gourmet, but certainly very decent and an excellent value. Lots of sushi options as well as asian fusion. Great tea also. Service is fast and friendly. From the street, you could almost zip right by the place and not see past the frosted glass to the inside. Definitely worth a look, so stop on in next time you are around. We were visiting relatives in Lexington Park and looking for something that we could eat (we're vegans). If you live in Southern Maryland, you already know the score: seafood and meat is the order of the day. Great if that's your game, but we always have a challenge eating healthy while we're visiting the family. It's gotten somewhat easier recently, as they at least now have a Panera in town, but Oga's is a welcome addition. Give it a try.
The food is very good and the service is friendly. The dining area is clean. They offer take out and I'd go broke if they delivered! The only downside is they don't brew their own iced tea, order soda.
OGAs is slipping. They used to be very good. Tasty food, good quality, large quantities. Now, the prices are way too high for the quality and volume. They skimp on the white rice and over cook the chicken. The black pepper chicken was lacking pepper and chicken; it tasted like burned crust with very little chicken; dry and lack luster is the best way to describe it. Over all, I'm not satisfied.

Ledo Pizza

25470 Point Lookout Rd
Leonardtown, 20650
Reviews:
Ledos Pizza!!! What can I say? This might be the best pizza in the area. My kids love the small square slices and so do I. The Greek (Ledo) salad is really good too. They have messed up my order once or twice and made it right by giving me the bad order and my order. Can't complain about free pizza! I have ordered their sandwiched before for some professional movers that were working for me. Even the sandwiches were good. A Must Try!!!
The pizza is really good (ask for some extra sauce to dip the slices in), but the subs are terrible. I've had steak and cheese and cheeseburger subs and had to thrown them away. The meat they use for the subs is on par with college cafeterias and taste like Aramark. Stick to the pizza. Oh, they also do great fundraising for the community.
First to review! Take that Bill Z! Ambiance first: There really isn't any. The place is bright and clean. (I like clean, but I like my pizza joints dark and grotto like.) With that out of the way let's talk food. Sure, they have a menu full of all kinds of nonsense, but I visit for the pizza. (You know, it puts the "ospi" in "Ledo's Pizza".) And then they have a small smattering of various pizzas. But I'm a simple guy with a simple pizza palette at a place like this: Meat. (At a more creative place I could and have happily enjoyed a cold smoked salmon, lemon, dill, and tzatziki sauce pizza). The Meatlovers is my obvious choice. It's good. It's the kind of pizza you could easily sit and eat and eat and eat and feel like you could eat more. It's not super heavy and greasy, which is nice. The service is serviceable. I usually don't find myself wanting. Keep my beverages in order and put the pizza on the table and that's about all I ask. And the wait staff usually seems up to that task. Now, if you take the ambiance into account, the best thing to do is order your pizza to-go, stop by Guenther's Fine Wine and Spirits next door, ask the dude there what kind of awesome new beer they have in stock (I'm sure he can give you a great recommendation), grab a six pack, take it home and enjoy a game of Monopoly whilst stuffing your pizza face with a friend. (The beer is both to enjoy with the pizza and to lubricate any outlandish Monopoly deals you might want to propose: Atlantic for Tennessee and St. James...sober that would be a no-go...but a few beers later...) Oh, and it bears mentioning that Ledo's pizza is also quite good cold the next day. Not all pizzas can say that.
