    I heard about this place from a friend. After my fourth in a continuing series of dental visits, I started my quest to find this place. Once inside, I was super excited. Custom juices. I ordered the 12-ounce Green Juice ($4.70): spinach, kale, lettuce, parsley, celery, cucumber, & apple. I added a ginger topper for $0.99 extra. Their kale hadn't been delivered yet. [side note: there was an accident on 50 causing a huge gaper's delay in both directions. The kale delivery was probably sitting in traffic.] This was refreshing and delicious! I truly enjoyed my juice. I will be here after every dental visit from here on out. And hopefully in between as well. I'm a fan!!! [review 1050]

    Maybe my hopes were too high - finally a juice bar in the neighborhood! We arrived, hungry and ready to choose from the lengthy menu board. We could have saved time by asking what they had ready. We got the last jerk chicken sandwich. We ordered green juice and mango juice. We sat for about 15 minutes, before we got our orders. Yes -- the chicken was tasty; the juices were ok -- as a novice juicer, mine are better.

    A friend told me about this place and decided to take me there today. On my friend's recommendation, I tried the Tropical Breeze smoothie - I believe it had carrot, orange, mango and pineapple. I thought it was a pretty good smoothie. They ordered the Island Blend, which also was tasty. I definitely would like to visit again -- for another smoothie and to try some of the delicious smelling jerk chicken!

    Kindness goes a long way these days. I usually rate places, for the most part, on their food. However, this place ranks in one of those special categories where you must consider the customer service. During my visit, the main server had the worst attitude ever. He was extremely unprofessional and it seemed like he didn't want my business. He was not friendly and he was actually rather rude. He seemed angry at personal problems (I assume). It's no way to run a business with an attitude like that. I hope this guy gets it together because his attitude is the worst. On top of that, I did not get a receipt nor was I offered one. The food is good, but just stay away. Based on that man's funky attitude, this place doesn't deserve to stay open.

    Short Version: If you're willing to deal with flippant, curt, slow customer service, the juice is ok. It took 15 minutes after ordering to get one juice. Then, the staff person proceeds to make another persons's order before finishing mine. I had to cancel the second part of the order. Forecast: this place will be closed on a year at this rate.

    Good food, nice owner. Great to have an authentic Caribbean restaurant close to home. The patties are fresh and DELICIOUS!

    Very Rude and disrespectful the man looks at you like he has an attitude I'm sure if he changes his attitude and his demeanor then he would be way more busy but because of his nasty attitude me and my family will stay away

    Ew and no. The customer service that I experienced in this place, while the food is actually quite good, is the reason for getting one star. I really wanted to give Mango & Coconut a chance. I went twice, and there will not be a third time. I was/am a frequent visitor of menchies next door, and just sort of noticed that something was being done next door. For the most part, even when they first opened, the blinds were kept closed, so people had no idea if they were open or not. There were no balloons, or employees passing out flyers or samplers, nothing. Most times when I walked by, the place was empty. One day while going into menchies, there was a family of 4 sitting down at the tables at menchies. I saw people in M&C and decided to go inside and see. There were two ladies sitting by the door assumingly waiting for their order. I walk in to pretty much silence. No music, no greeting, nothing. I walk up to the counter to look at the menu board and the guy they counter didn't even acknowledge me. I left. After going to menchies and enjoying my treat with a friend outside, the ladies from next door came out and left with the family sitting outside. It had to have been at least 30 minutes. So, one day, a friend and I decided to try it out. Again, walk in to no music and no greeting. We both order smoothies and I ordered a jerk chicken meal. The entire wait time was about 28 minutes...yes, we timed it. I was quite pleased with the tenderness of the chicken, the rice and peas weren't mushy and didn't have an overly coconut taste which is okay with me. Overall, this particular trip was okay. I did go in another day because I wanted a beef patty. I ordered two and after paying was informed that there was only 1 beef patty left. Not what I wanted so I asked for a refund. They did honor this. The last and final time that I went here, I walked in and there was music playing. Cool. The chick behind the counter was on the phone and since it was not a business call, she stayed on a little too long for not taking any phone orders. Anywho. I ordered the jerk chicken meal again and she said that one of the side items was either or. I was confused since there wasn't a problem last time. She was like 'I'm not sure, let me ask. Don't be mad if you can't get xxx, but let me ask."... Okay???? So she asks the manager to confirm and somebody must have told him he was being evicted because he had THE most stank attitude. He comes to the counter and I restate my order and he looks back at the chick and says "you called me over for this?" The hell? He looks back at me and says do you want to order? I looked at him and said no and walked out. I tried. I really did. It's good to see businesses come into PGCo but just because you may be a small business and/or minority owned business, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS KEY! If you act like you don't want my business and I'm bothering you, fine. Someone else will get my money.

    So far I love this place :) Finally another decent juice bar near me....and the food is good, especially the jerk chicken. Ive been twice in 2 days! It does takes a little bit of time to get your order.....but thats to be expected with fresh food and juices, so I didnt mind the wait. Plus, I came in 20 mins before they closed and they stil took my large order :) Gave me time to write this review. I will be back

    I went to this place three times before I could actually get in. The first time the blinds were closed but it said grand opening so I opened the door and the owner looked at me as thought I was an intruder. He said they were closed for extensive cleaning. Why would you have signs everywhere that you are not open and then be closed on a SATURDAY afternoon and the door is unlocked? The second time was a Wednesday around noon and the blinds were closed and the door locked. So I tried a third time since I was getting treated birthday gift. The owner was nice but he took at least 30 minutes on my order for a juice and a jerk sandwich. He needs to hire help as he will lose customers if they have to wait so long for a simple meal. I hope he can last but he has to step up his game and invest more into Customer Service.
