I ordered the Teriyaki combo -chicken and steak- the steak was very very chewy and the chicken was tender. The sauce was ok, but is not homemade. I am a bit more critical about the teriyaki since I am not from here and so comparing it to back home in Hawaii. I gave it four stars because despite everything else, it was way better than a five star Japanese Resturant I recently ordered from that cost me triple what I paid here. THEY DONT SPEAK ENGLISH!

So, I found this place when I was looking for somewhere quick and inexpensive. I have to say that I was very pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. They cook in front of you so you don't have to worry about the "mystery meat" found in take-out joints like this one. Very good and affordable. I probably went here 3 out of 5 days of the work week while I was doing a temporary assignment nearby. I definitely recommend it!

Surprisingly pretty good! I have seen this place for years and have always been curious but not enough to stop by. So we were getting Peruvian chicken for the workplace and decided to get an order of chicken teriyaki. Service was fast, place seemed clean, food looked good. They do it the same way as Sarku in the mall- grill with a rail thing where they put your food. Worth a try if you're looking for decent food in the area.

I decided to go to Teriyaki Express today for the first time and I had to add this business on Yelp because the food was delicious! I ordered the chicken & beef teriyaki with fried rice with a little extra sauce on top for $7.99 and paid $1.39 for extra chicken which I really didn't have to because they give you plenty. (will try the veggies next time). I got my food to go but they have plenty of seating and a TV if you want to eat there, I also think that the drink refills are free because while waiting for my order I saw several people refill their cups. I will be going to this place often! NOTE: it's located in the shopping center with mattress discounters...

The rice and veggies were good however, the sauce was kind of bland, and this place needs better quality of chicken. The chicken is very fatty and has lots of cartilage.

I'm an addict. Portions are great. The taste is good, they are quick and cheap. I recommend it over any other teriyaki spot in the area.

This is a lot like one of those bourbon chicken places at the mall. Chicken, beef or shrimp with rice, fried rice, noodles, veggies. We had the chicken, which was pretty tasty. Service was really slow at about 7:30 on a weeknight. Soccer on the tv and music playing - it was pretty loud in there.
