Went here for a quick snack and o yeah was it good. I luv frozen yogurt! They have a new flavor called snickerdoodle and it is soo good. I Also had the cheesecake flavor and rocky road. I don't care much for the rocky road it tastes just like regular chocolate.

So I visited yogurt mountain only to find that it is a super generic 7-11 type yogurt place. The one flavor I wanted, which was the classic tart was experiencing difficulty and many people left once the workers kept saying nothing was wrong with the flavor. It was really difficult to come out of the machine and once it did, it had the consistency of ice milk. Most of the other flavors were too soft. There were also children playing all over the toppings bar, I really lost my appetite for frozen yogurt at this place. All in all I will stick with the yogiberry in columbia mall. The frozen yogurt there is premium stuff!

Yogurt Mountain is in Arundel Mills Mall as part of the Books a Million store. It's a self-serve joint, where your froyo comes at 49 cents an ounce, which is a little pricy by me. HOWEVER. The toppings are so overwhelmingly PLENTIFUL. Mochi, passionfruit bubbles (the little tapioca pearls that have juice in them). Candy. Cereal. Ghiradelli syrup. More candy. Moar cereal. Fruit. Nuts. ZOMG. It was a lot and it was all I could do to not just get a pound of toppings in my little cup. I guess I felt a little let down by the flavors after all that. I prefer the fruity, tart flavors, but most of the flavors were creamy ones like cake batter, etc. I wound up getting the plain tart and a blue island sorbet, one of their seasonal summer flavors. I actually really liked that blue sorbet, and I think it was low-fat so that's a plus! But I do wish there was more variety in flavors; they had 2 non-fat vanillas out and really, why? The cashier was really friendly and I will definitely be coming back here next time I shop and want froyo. :)

I can't say enough good things about this place. The service is exceptional, especially in this day and age. We had our son's birthday party here, and the staff were so helpful and kind. They really went the extra mile, again, so rare these days!! All of the young staff were courteous and helpful, and the management was outstanding. Also. The yogurt is delicious. :) Thanks Yogurt Mountain for a great experience.

I wish I could give it 0 stars. The manager made me feel unwanted and treated me like I was a criminal. So I just got my braces off at the Dentist ( yaay me) and I wanted to treat myself to some yummy delicious frozen yogurt at Arundel Mills. I went to Mountain Yogurt as I have been many times before to luxuriate and enjoy a delicious cup of frozen sugary goodness before I head back to work . My experience was RUINED by the manager, who treated me like a theif and made me feel like I was some kind of frozen yogurt criminal. So first, there are no sample cups, fine no biggie, although it makes it hard to know if you will like the flavors. I grab a cup and walk down the aisle to see what options they have and I fill my cup with a bit of vanilla bean, chocolate mint, cheesecake and some other flavor. I walk over to the topping section and put a few toppings in my cup including several cherries. I dip my hand in MY CUP and eat 2 cherries. Thats right 2 cherries that were in my cup, I pop then in my mouth, while I decide what else I want to add to my cup. No sooner after doing this, the manager comes over and sternly says to me, "Ma'am please dont eat the toppings". He had been watching me and singled me out to talk to like this. Like a security guard at a loss prevetion site. Are you kidding me? 2 cherries and you treat me like I am a criminal?? Really though? I told the manager that it was not cool to treat me like that, and he insisted, and acted like I had dipped my hands into the topping tray or something and had performed some unhygienic act. He insisted that I was stealing from them because I had not paid for my cup yet. I get it, but really though 2 cherries. I walk over to the cash register to pay for my cup, after I had finished. At the register, the mansger insists on his stance, and I was so disgusted with how the manager spoke to me that I decided I no longer wanted my cup of deliciousness. I love frozen yogurt, but I dont need to be treated and made to feel like I am an unwelcomed criminal at Yogurt Mountain. I wont support them financially and I should have just waited and gone to Sweet Frog by my house. They have better customer service. Not cool Mountain Yogurt.

In an effort to not be redundant I'll say... I am a picky froyo fan because I like my froyo tart and authentic to Asian style froyo. I love that this place is self serve and cost only $0.49 an ounce. I was pleasantly surprised that they had the exploding juice filled tapioca balls. I was not a huge fan of almost all the frozen yogurts because they are more creamy and taste similar to ice cream. However, I LOVED the original tart. I liked that there were unique toppings and chocolate sauces including Ghiradelli varieties. If I needed a froyo fix after working my pumps in the mall I'd definitely hit Yogurt Mountain up for some good ole' original tart flavored froyo.

I would give this 0 stars if I could. Obviously those who have given this 5 stars have never actually had REAL frozen yogurt. This place was cheap (NOT price-wise, but quality-wise). Of the flavors they have, five of them did not work and the girls working there seemed more pre-occupied with flirting with teenage boys than working. The frozen yogurt is clumpy and has no creamy texture. This was a pure letdown. Waste your money if you want.

Self-proclaimed America's Favorite Yogurt Storeâ„¢, Yogurt Mountain (YOMO), comes to Arundel Mills (Hanover, MD). This will be their first store opening in the Baltimore/DC-area. On Thursday, May 5th, YOMO opened for business! Serving up frozen yogurt (FROYO), sorbet and tarts, the options for yummy add-ons are endless. Delish toppings include everything from cereal and candy to nuts and fruit and fat-free, low-fat and sugar-free options (where available). They even have Pop-Tarts as a topping! The yogurt itself is really good...good enough to fool ice cream lovers. The toppings are a nice touch, but the yogurt is great enough to hold its own. YOMO shares a space with Books-a-Million, which is convenient for yogurt-loving readers needing a sweet (or UNsweetened) fix. At the register, you can get three nice-sized sample cups and take yuor pick of the various flavors. I tried sugar-free strawberry (which didn't taste sugar-free at all, which is great), New Orleans praline (some crushed Pralines would've been tops, but I didn't bother looking for any) and cake batter (the cashier's fav). All flavors were really good, so I decided on pre-packaged ($6.99) strawberry and New Orleans praline. The regular price for a yogurt cup is $.49/ounce. Its self-serve, so go nuts -- or fruit -- or candy -- with it. **While you check out, enter your phone number at the register to up your freebie chances. FREE 10oz treat for every 6 check-ins. Yum! The store was very clean, the staff was nice. Since I work and live nearby, I hope the newness never wears off.

I liked this place although the location is a bit odd, in the corner of a bookstore. They were low on many toppings when I got there. I did however enjoy the yogurt and the colorful mochi. I would check them out again if I come back to the area.

Good selection, great flavors, a ton of toppings and a clean shop. What more can you ask for?! I will be back next time I'm shopping at Arundel Mills. You should too.

It is one of those frozen yogurt desert place. Where you can choose your flavor of yogurt and the amount you want. They have a lot of varieties of toppings. I was disappointed they did not have my favorite topping mochi. But they did not have real mini cheesecake bites which was so good. Also a lot of varieties of different sauces. They even use ghirardelli brand for the sauces. The yogurt I got 3 types of flavor all separated in the cup very carefully. I got banana pudding, cake, and traditional vanilla. The banana had a overpowering fake banana flavor. I did not enjoy the banana to much. The rest of the flavors were good. I wish they had sample spoons for the flavors or sample cups? They would be a good idea and be helpful.

So they have some very interesting yogurt flavors...Peanut butter?? Ick! But their saving grace the availability of multi-colored mochi! When it comes to frozen yogurt, I only do fresh fruit and mochi. No chocolate, cookie dough or coco-puffs.....not in my yogurt. How ever, if you do want yogurt and cereal this is the place to be because it seems like they have alot of cereal toppings.....and gummy sharks. Because I can get a small amount of yogurt and a pile of mochi and fruit, I am a fan. Depending on how much yogurt you load up, it can cost you anywhere from $4-$7. Cost is determined by pound, so the more you load up, the more it will cost you. They also have a frequent buyer program only you don't have to carry a card, you punch in on the tablet at the register. A high tech yogurt shop with fruit and mochi= awesome! They are also attached to Books-A-Million so you can browse books and magazines while you enjoy your yogurt.

OK I am going to keep it 100! (That's hood talk for sincere). I have for a long time thought things like Mazda MIatas, mud baths, Ugg boots, and frozen yogurt was specifically for women! Well I still feel that way about Miatas, Ugg boots and mud baths but frozen yogurt however, has transitioned over. Not completely though. it's in the middle now. But first off! This place had ALLLLL the flavors! I was in amazement! I went to take my lady for a cool treat. Like my man Manolo aka Manny in Scarface said, "Ladies love ice cream mayne!" So we hit the fro-yo (that's what the cool kids call it) spot and she had a ball! They charge 49 cents per ounce. Like i said there is a huge selection of flavors some that i remember were Oreo, banana, banana cream pie, Dulce DE leche, chocolate etc... But the toppings, man the toppings were top ranked! They had Cap'n Crunch y'all! With the Mutha Luvin Crunchberries! Crunchberries! but they had several other toppings too, including boba. I know my asian homies got excited about that! This place is located in the Arundel Mills mall complex. Next to the Potbelly and Chipotle. This is a great place for a first date or second date or whatever. Fellas take yo main or your side chick down there. The staff was really nice and helpful and they were kind of cute. Most of which were Asian and looked like they were 15 (so they were probably actually 23). There really isn't anything negative i can say about this place. You have to go try it out for yourself. Can't forget the 20% discount for special people P.S. My six month old daughter went too and this is her review: 4111441520.+;. -.\ / n7y6hnb b n b

I have a new favorite yogurt flavor-lemon icebox pie. So good and when I added the graham cracker crumbs and a few raspberries, I was in froyo heaven. I was surprised to see that the coffee shop in Books a Million had been replaced by Yogurt Mountain but I am glad it was. They have an assortment of toppings (jelly beans? What?!?) and some unique flavors I had yet to come across in other chains. Ah, well, at least this may make a trip to Arundel Mills a little more bearable.

  • Melody T.

Yay for a self serve fro-yo bar in one of my favorite malls! Things I love: - flavors: sugar free chocolate (I usually never like sugar free anything, but this one is really good!) and red velvet cake - amazing candy topping bar (stroopwafels, chocolate covered matzo, cheesecake bites, rainbow mochi, and exploding tapioca? *totally* normal =D) And on that note... Hellloooo Yogurt Mountain, it is so *very* nice to meet you!
