I'll give it 2 stars because the food was good and the service was good until we received our meal. The waiter came by right after we were served and then we didn't see him for 20-30 minutes. Aside from the irritation of having empty glasses all around the table for the majority of that time, my daughter didn't like her meal and had asked for something different. By the time the waiter came back (again, 20-30 minutes later) everyone else was done their meals and my daughter had stuffed herself with breadsticks. Between asking for containers, ordering desert to-go (because we just wanted to get the hell out of there), and getting the check corrected, we were in there about 45 minutes after we finished our meals mainly because of the waiter. On a Thursday with a half-full restaurant, this is completely unacceptable. Btw, if you are asked if you would like to sit in the "cafe", tell them no. Apparently, "cafe" translated into English means "Land of the Lost".

Meh, what was I thinking going here for good Italian food... I was cursed out by my Italian guest

What can I say? It's typical Olive Garden. Good food consistently. Service is slow. I wish the guys working the carry out desk would be more attentive. I've stood and waited for them to finish talking to each other for several minutes. Not to mention, my order has been wrong more often than not. And yes, to the guy who tries to act friendly to our face, I hear you insulting other customers as they walk out. If you wonder why you're not getting tipped by them, maybe they heard you talk about others too.

I lived super close to this location for about a year. When we first moved we would get take out from there a lot because it was one of the few restaurants in the area whose name we recognized and that we didn't have to go into the mall for. Everytime we ordered take out we were told 30 minutes. We'd show up 30 minutes later only to wait another 15 or so minutes for our food. What? And at least a couple times the order was wrong or we got an attitude while ordering. I'm glad we moved so we don't have to eat there anymore.

*Baltimore Eats* *Yelp 365 Challenge x 2 #188/365* I've been here twice since I've been in Baltimore and honestly, I can't think of anything wrong with the service or food. Hawaii doesn't have Olive Garden despite the fact that many of us has been beating our utensils on the table that if Hawaii can have Cheesecake Factory, Macaroni Grill, Yadda Yadda Yadda then whhhhyyyy can't Olive Garden be a part of these mainland restaurants setting up businesses in Hawaii?! We already have Target and Walmart! Anyhoo, I'm digressing! This location is next to Arundel Mills Mall and of course, we had to note it in the "next time we go shopping, let's have dinner at Olive Garden." First time, attentive waitress and quick service to where our appetizers and breadsticks were served with our entrees. I didn't know if that was strategic on their part to make sure we didn't consume the entire breadsticks supply :( BUT, the food was delicious (Chicken and Alfredo and Crab Stuffed Mushrooms)! The second time we decided to dine here, we dragged along our other co-worker with us because she's been craving Olive Garden. This time, it was on a Sunday. It was busy...and I mean BUSY. Our wait time for a table was about 20-30 minutes. We didn't care, we were just as determined to wait like the rest of the individuals and families that looked just as hungry. As soon as we were seated, our waiter took our drink order, which were non-alcoholic beverages. Then, shortly after-he took our orders. My usual of Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken but I also requested for mushrooms too. Simple yes? Our salads and FOUR breadsticks...and there was THREE of us with all of probably wondering silently who was going to consume the last one? I think our waiter was flustered with the crowd to where he overlooked some things regardless if it was noted down in his little notepad because when he brought our food out, my dish had...shrimp. I don't care for seafood :( I pointed this out to him, which he apologized and whisked away with me hoping that the cooks won't be irked. Guess who got the last breadstick while everyone else dug into their plates? Few minutes later, the manager comes out and apologizes for the error. Few minutes after that, my plate came out! Hooray! Again, the manager appears to check on us and apologizes again. Hmmm, it was a simple mix-up but I'm guessing that because it was busy, management was walking around to make sure everyone was doing all right. My overall: Customer Service: Friendly and helpful despite the crowd Prices: Reasonable Location: Perfect for after shopping at Arundel Mills Food: Your typical American-Italian dishes that are good! Ambiance: Olive Garden decor Recommend: Yes Note: -1 star for no second basket of breadsticks ;)

I would give it zero stars if that was an option. The food was ok, but the service was terrible. The waiter took literally an hour to bring our meals and then never came back after that. The manager came and handled our bill after we complained but didn't even apologize. We tried going there two months later and they were seating people out of order and were rude to us at the front desk. They didn't even write our name down when we first came in!

Disappointed, stopped in for lunch with a coworker. Menus were sticky, could someone please wipe them off. I ordered the lunch soup and salad, salad was drowned in dressing......drenched. The soup, minestrone, was luke warm.

Want to say they redeemed themselves by having outstanding customer service, or a friendly environment.....unfortunately I cannot. 19 minutes total wait to be acknowledged. Another five to even been asked for my order, which at this point I knew without looking at the menu. Went ahead and offered my dessert based on this pattern. They are not overbooked, no one needing to wait for seating. Everything is clean-a lot of time to look around for basic good on floor and even have they dusted recently or ever. Pleasantly surprised by their thoroughness. Got the all you can eat soup and salad, gnocchi. With water and the pumpkin cheese cake. Got my water in the time it took me to write everything before this line. No bread, no salad, no soup... Food is perfect. Not overcooked. Warm. Amazing as Olive garden food always is. Maybe it's better during dinner or regular lunch hours. I came for a late lunch.

This is a great restaurant as Olive Garden not only provided amazing food (usually), but hires the best employees. We came here after Bennette's Curse last night and we were "starving." I don't even think we spoke much to Each other, we just wanted dank FOOD! They said 30 minutes and I don't know. Maybe it was 30. They had benches everywhere, even outside so we found a spot to sit and relax after being terrorized for fun for half an hour. When our buzzer went off, we went inside quickly and they said they had been calling us for a while (BS...) and my mood went sour because that's a lie. We were sitting right outside the front door. So since they gave away our table, we waited while they cleaned up another one for 5 minutes. The waitress was amazing and nice. We asked for water and only half of us got lemons while the others that didn't want lemons didn't get em. (No screw ups here). However the nonlemons tasted like horrible sweet water (not sprite) like someone didn't clean the glass properly.... She quickly switched it out which was nice. The food came fast and it was great, don't have to say much. At one point, our waitress was carrying a lot and the other employees at the front stood and did nothing (our table is in front of the entrance). She then accidentally dropped a glass from the carrying tray and the lady in the corner near the front did nothing and I saw her smirk. Basically, FK her.. OG loses 3 stars for that. Overall most people that work there are nice and good food. If you get that skinny retrd who thinks of funny to not help (looked kinda Hispanic).. Go somewhere else, otherwise you'll have a great time.

We eat at Olive Garden 3 to 4 times a month. The wife loves their food. For me, Olive Garden has become boring. The dishes are the same and they need some new meat dishes. Overall Olive Garden is a good place to eat. So stop in a try it.

I'm usually a huge fan of Olive Garden.. the food is awesome and my son always does well with their kid's menu. This was my first visit to this location-- prior to one in Hanover, we frequented the Bowie Olive Garden. The staff here seems very new... or else they're just very young and inattentive. Our waitress looked about 18, but I know you have to be 21 to serve alcohol.... right? There was one instance where a friend's white wine came at room temperature (NO!) and she had to get permission from the manager to get another bottle of wine, which we found very odd. Definitely want to try this place out in a few months to see if service has improved.

One of the best experiences at an Olive Garden ever! The staff was friendly and upbeat. My family and I came for my birthday dinner. Since we are a larger party we try to do something a little bit simple but Olive Garden and the staff at this location made us feel like we were at a high-end restaurant. The servers Josh and Danielle were extremely attentive and personable. The food was hot and very delicious although we were very full from salad and soup! I wasn't expecting much from Olive Garden but this changed my whole outlook on the restaurant! They made my birthday extra special by taking a picture of the whole group and being so kind!

Given the size of our large lunch group (about 14) they did a good job with attentive service and keeping the glasses full. The food is just meh. It's Olive Garden...you knew what you were getting.

Tried Lunch again after a nice win at poker- but not much had changed. In fact for the second straight time nobody brought utensils. Had to get them myself. Spaghetti is still overcooked and had to beg to get ice tea refreshed, not much ice in it anyway. Worst was endless salad which was wilted, even though it's supposed to be signature item, could barely eat a scoop. Hope this is worst location in the chain, otherwise Olive Garden is in big trouble.

On September 13th our friend selected this restaurant to celebrate his 69th birthday. Upon walking into the establishment we were pleasantly acknowledged and greeted. The people in our party can be a little challenging so when they asked for a table when we were offered a booth, there was no hesitation, a table was found for us quickly. We had one of the most professional waitress I have encountered in a very long time. One of the members from my party can be a handful but she handled each and every person with class, style and mannerism. My husband decided to try a new soup which he was not enjoying, the manager Cassie dropped by to check on our table and once she heard she immediately took a new soup order and it was brought out swiftly, which he rather enjoyed. We loved the service, the restaurant was clean, the atmosphere relaxing, we even asked for the fire place to be cut on as the handful needed heat, it was clicked on with no hesitation. I can not thank everyone enough for making our experience one of the best. I must admit all my times there has been delightful. Thank you for having great customer service

New place great atmosphere but slow service. I haven't been to one of the restaurant in 3 years. I love the update fair. Wow chicken wings. They were different but good. Not too spicy. Delicious salad and the bread served hot and salty. Delicious. My wife steak was not cook to order. She complain the server said 20 minutes wow. Nice enough but improve the service

I was a bit hungry so I figured i would have some Italian food. This location is located just next to the mall and it's fairly nice. Employees were nice as I walked in, I was seated right away and the waitress took my order within minutes. I think the prices for the cocktails were a bit excessive and the food itself was bland. Not the best Italian food I've had but it filled me up.

As the saying goes, A for effort. I had to give this location of Olive Garden three stars (read: A-OK). I stopped by this restaurant for an early dinner on the way home from BWI airport. I usually love Olive Garden, but this time, I was not as enthused. When we walked in, we were promptly seated. The waitress was nice, and although she was busy with other tables (I think she was the only waitress in our section as it was 5 pm), after a few minutes, she took our drink orders. I ordered the strawberry lemonade and my boyfriend ordered a sangarita. Cool. A few minutes later, we were ready to order. I got the chicken parm and he got the sausage stuffed giant rigatoni, and we ordered the calamari as an appetizer. Ok so, ten minutes (read: eternity) goes by. We get our salad and endless breadsticks, as well as our calamari. **I look up at my boyfriend.** "Ummm... does this look undercooked to you?" Although I hate complaining, I had to say something. Our waitress apologized, and we let her know it's not her fault, and she took back our calamari to remedy the problem. When the calamari comes back out, it's cooked alright. It's actually burnt and completely unappetizing. At this point, I count the calamari as a loss (10 dollars down the drain). I was so glad that I had ordered a dish that I always get as my main course because the chicken parm did not disappoint. My boyfriend liked his rigatoni, but when I tried it I thought it was a bit too salty for my taste. Honestly, the endless breadsticks were the highlight of this meal. I'll probably be sticking to the location of Olive Garden by my house.

The food is good for simple Alfredo and spaghetti but the service is sub par. My dad and I came here and while it was understandably busy we noticed people who came in after us were being served their food before us. My mom constantly had to remind our server about her drinks and he rarely came by. We'll probably come back, but we hope that we get another server and hopefully a better experience

Unfortunately, lunch time is always hit or miss on service. I find that you must aggressively flag down staff members if you want to be served. The meal prices are very reasonable and the new menu has some great options. They are also normally able to seat large groups for lunch. I would definitely recommend Olive Garden over the similar chain restaurants in the area.

It's Olive Garden, so if you like chain Italian it is indeed that. I will say the service is quite good. Came on a Saturday after some shopping and place was not too crowded. Server was very polite and friendly. Food was comparable to any other Olive Garden you would go to. Nothing really special, nothing really wrong.

  • Kristine R.

Not what it used to be.... Service was great! Staff very friendly and well trained. But quality of food...not so good. Dressing is not fresh and salad was way over dressed and for some reason salty. Pasta (capellini pomodoro) totally over cooked and sauce no longer fresh. Not sure why they changed it. Roasted asparagus had was stuck to the plate. Maybe revamping the menu BACK to basic Italian fair would help. Won't be coming back.

Way better than the Olive Garden in Bowie, but still, it's Olive Garden. I don't know what it is about Olive Garden, I just can't get with it. Portions are smaller than I feel like I'm paying for, and no matter what I order, I feel like it's just 'ok'. The most recent trip, I got a scallop and shrimp alfredo deal that was alright. Expensive for what it was, though. My dining partner got the 'Taste of Italy', which he was happy with but we both agreed it was smaller than the picture suggested. Maybe I've just eaten at Olive Tree too many times, but I feel like their salad and breadsticks are far superior to Olive Garden's. That said, if you need to eat at Olive Garden, for service's sake, choose this one.

I usually love the Olive Garden and mostly go to their location in Laurel. I was surprised when I went to the Arundel Mills location because the atmosphere reminded me of Golden Coral with the family style open seating. The server sat me and my date next to a group of nosey young ladies with a BAD child. It was not intimate and secluded seating like Laurel. Everything was just open!!! The service was okay but we could not enjoy ourselves because the child next to us was running from table to table and was out of control. When we complained to the hostess that sat us, he was clueless. He never offered to sit us in another location. Why would two grown adults want to be seated next to parties at two different tables, with an out of control kid running back and forth from table to table and throwing food. I could not figure out why the management didn't speak up to the party because it was a disruption to the entire restaurant. Me and my date had just gotten off the plane from Vegas, it was late, and we wanted a nice quiet meal. On the way out, I saw the manager. I recognized him from the Laurel location. Which in Laurel he seemed on point with his management, but this night it was like talking to a wall. In the past, he has assisted me when my job ate at Olive Garden and we had parties of 20 or more. However this night, he looked at me like he could careless! Great customer service will make or break you! I will not be going back to the location. The worst slap in the face is when you convey your concerns to management and they could careless.

I think calling my waiter the d team is insulting to the D team. 15 minutes before I has a menu. My drink came out with my entree. The waiter didn't care that I had a) waited at that point 45 minutes for a water, or b) that the service was so awful. And I would understand if it was packed or something, but no, there were about 5 tables with diners. I will not ever be back.

Nice waiters very polite . Very good food nice portioned food and appetizers. Great food to be filled up . Very good for meet and greets and family event the wait was about 30 mins for parties over 5 but it was worth it , that place is amazing its across the street from the casino and Dave and Busters but it's convenient as far as walking distance or driving . Not to mention free bread and salad . I found love . A+++ I would definitely go again.

Just ate here last night. I was craving comfort food...I got an ok meal with lots of disappointment. So I came up with the brilliant idea for Italian last night after a long day. We (bf and I) called Olive Garden, got the automated system, and then a person...who then put us on hold after explaining that "It would be awhile" for us to place a take out order. After about 5 minutes of straight waiting, I told him to hang up since they had an online ordering option. We did that, and added in the notes to give us a side of alfredo since it was no where on the menu to add. We headed over after a quick errand and were immediately greeted by the overwhelming stench of old feet when we hit the door. Seriously Olive Garden- what smells to bad in your resturant?? Can you not smell it? It's so bad that you can't even smell the food when you walk in! We walked over the counter and have them our name, and a waitress rushed to the back to grab the order. We checked it...no alfredo. Of course. She checked our order, apologized, and rushed back off to the back. She returned less than 30 seconds later with it, we paid, and left. Upon arrival home, I happily popped the container open, only to discover that there was ham/bacon al throughout my 'alfredo' sauce. I'm assuming one of the cooks was preparing a dish with alfredo and bacon and she just took some for our order/ease of use. As a vegetarian, I cannot eat that. I was super prepared for it too- know when you really have a taste for something and can't wait to eat it? Yeah. Tough tiddles here for me. And a $5 dollar tip to boot! The rest of the food was as ordered though, thankfully. Would have been better if it was all correct though.....

The reviews about the service are correct and the "managers" don't really seem to mind that it sucks. Came in at 11:30 and didn't get drinks until 11:50. Not sure why, there wasn't a rush or anything, just kind of a "who gives a shit" attitude with the wait staff. I literally watched two wait staff talk at the server station for 10 or so minutes and did nothing, maybe re-evaluate your zoning for wait staff. Foods good.

This location has been open for about a year and things are unbalanced and in need of improvement. Our waitress was slow, left our table cluttered with junk and trash and didn't know of the daily specials or wine flavor styles or notes which are listed on their new feature menu list. Soup was cold and my chicken marsala was flavored well, but lacked any originally in the overall dish. Normally I have had this dish paired with a pasta and plated as a whole meal - this version made the entree and added an Americanized side, new potatoes. I would not say this location is that bad but I have had a lot better experiences elsewhere - 2 stars.

This Olive Garden was absolutely disgusting and I will never return to it, nor any other Olive Garden restaurant. Not only is the chain essentially the McDonald's version of Italian food, this particular franchise was filthy, slow, and tasteless. The only reason I went is because I had a couple of dollars left on a gift card that was given to me years ago, so I decided to go ahead and finish it off. First of all, the smell when I entered was sickening, second, the area we sat in had food pieces scattered all over the floor, and third, the pasta dish I ordered was absolutely gummy and mashed together. The texture of the pasta was like wet, moist, thick clay. I didn't finish it and didn't take it to go. The dessert dish I ordered, the little fried doughnut-like pieces with chocolate sauce, was disappointing at best. It tasted a lot worse than the first time I had it a few years ago, and felt stiff. A ton of powdered had been thrown all over it and I didn't finish that either. My expectations were low, and this place managed to not meet it. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who cooks regularly - your own food is better, stick to it. As someone who loves free food, it's so bad that I wouldn't even go back if I had a gift card.

I hadn't been to an olive garden in a while and stopped in to this location last Sunday for lunch. Roseanne took quite a while bringing out our appetizer which was luke warm when it arrived to our table. The calamari was rubbery and the chicken gnocchi soup was bland. Roseanne took an extremely long time to bring out our entrees or to notice we needed drink refills. I didn't eat much of my stuffed chicken marsala because it arrived almost cold and the mashed potatoes looked like a dry mound of something slopped on to my plate with an ice cream scoop. It took an ETERNITY to hunt down Roseanne to retrieve our check but to make matters worse we were waiting 26 minutes to have our coupon applied to our 2 guest check by the manager on duty because he nor Roseanne seemed to know how to apply the promotion for their current running television advertisement. I was not impressed with the food or my overall experience from this Hanover location.

This place seems to be busy all the time. My experience here was not bad at all. We got seated fairly quick and no issues with our order. Came out hot and fresh. Wife had the sampler appetizer which is a meal on its own. I had chicken fet and can't complain as it was juicy and well cooked.

Look to begin like all the usual reviews... It is the Olive Garden. If you want top of the line Italian book a ticket to either Italy or go to Biba's in Sacramento, CA. Now Olive Garden. We were there (ironically) twice this past week. The first experience was five star. Our server was incredibly nice and we were served well and the food came out hot and delicious. We had some special requests (i.e no onions or olives on the salad) and she was helpful and kind and swift. Oh and this was a Saturday Night during the main service time. The second time was lunch on a Saturday and it was half dead. They still made us wait 15 minutes for a table and our serve must have been new or hungover or something. He was slow, he was out of sorts... he basically got our orders wrong (and we ordered the 9.99 Pasta Bowl) It was a fiasco. I felt bad cause my friend pad for it. So I give it 3 stars. It is A-OK. And that's about it.

I understand it's the Olive Garden and not "fine Italian dining." I also understand that being located in a "high traffic area" presents some challenges (e.g. always being crowded, high turnover, under paid/over worked waitstaff etc.) but is it silly that I expect a certain basic level of service? Plates being cleared on time, not having to harass different waiters for more water etc?

Typical olive garden. It has no ambiance and food is average. I liked the service though. Calamari was not cooked...

I love the OG but I went to this location once and never came back. First of all, bad service or unprofessional waitstaff. And then to top it off how can you screw up salad and breadsticks?! I waited terribly long for my food and it was just a bad experience.

    (2)
  • Jessica F.

I was so disappointed with this place that I literally left before eating. We put our name on the wait list and we were told 20-25 mins. No problem since it was a Friday night. Anyways 45 mins later we were told 15-20 more mins. 20-25 minutes is NOT the same as an hour. Also, I had my five week old baby with us. We went across the way to red lobster and we were seated immediately.

You can't pass an invitation to unlimited soup, salad, and breadsticks for lunch when you have an army to bring. It signals that during weekdays lunch time, you will fight your way in to get food and service in OG. Pick your battle they say--- by giving yourself enough time if you really want to take advantage of the all you can eat. This is the perfect place to battle it out. Dare if you win or loose... I bet you, you still come out the winner at a price you can't beat!

Ouch, what a waste of time. Got to the restaurant and noticed they had 5 open tables right up front that needed bused, but they quoted us 20 minutes til a table opened up. I know it's not fine dining but, they had 3 hostesses but not a single one of them did anything but stand up at the front and talk about people. The food was cold and took forever. I will not eat at this location again.

This is your typical chain Olive Garden but since its so new its very appealing to the eye! The decor is beautiful, bright lighting and very spacious. The waiter we had was a young 20 year old who was inexperienced that seemed a bit strained to provide decent customer service My boyfriend ordered the chicken Alfredo that looked disgusting. The chicken looked dry and overcooked and he said it tasted rather bland and burnt. He was displeased with his meal and was told by the waitress that is the standard recipe and that the chicken is supposed to be that way and they can add more sauce if necessary. A mature and normal response should have been to take action and remake the dish to please the customer. I ordered the stuffed chicken Marsala which is one of my usual signature dishes. The accompanied mashed potatoes were small in portion size but the chicken was tasty and I was pleased with my meal overall. I did observe an exceptional waitress who I wish served us and will def try to request her area on my next visit in the future. Overall beware of the young, inexperienced whippersnapper waitress and the chicken Alfredo. Besides that pleasant experience and typical atmosphere as you will get with most Olive Garden chains

Nice atmosphere, friendly service. Clean. Just because it is a chain doesn't mean they all are good. But this one is a keeper. We love our server Ingid. Ask for him!

This is a new location so most employees are new. As far as I know waitress's are suppose to greet the table with a bottle of wine. I wasn't offered. She came and took our order and left. Wasn't even offered Romano cheese with my soup nor refills. Service was bad, and they changed their tables. Previously they had 4 legged chairs with wheels and it was very comfortable. Quality of food was okay. Will go back again but to try different things.

Typical Olive Garden. The last couple times I've been less than impressed by the food at other Olive Gardens, and stupidly we went here to try out the new location. Ok, the salad and breadsticks are ALWAYS good. Yum. But the main courses? Bleh. I ordered a new dish, forget exactly what it was called, Mediterranean chicken..? Or something.. But it was not good. Small portions and just bland. Our waitress was pretty strange. The service is crappy. I'm not sure if they just hired anyone off the street but they really should get some friendly, normal-ish people with experience working there. I think I've finally learned my lesson & don't plan on eating at any Olive Gardens in the future.

I had dinner at the bar which was nice because it was a packed house on a friday night. The bartender was nice and easy to talk too. I order Calimari as my appetizer which came after my salad. That was fine for me. The Calimari was cooked perfectly and was just the right kind of crispy. My main meal was the Chicken Marsalla with mashed potatoes. The dish was about $17 more than what I wanted to pay for just chicken and mashed potatoes but the dish was good. The chicken was very tender and the stuff cheese was light, not heavy like you would expect. The light sauce over the chicken was very flavorful and made you want to cover the potatoes in it. The small pieces of mushrooms in the mix left you wanting more. I really enjoyed the dish, the only thing I didn't enjoy was the bill. The place was really clean and well put together, everyone seemed real friendly and willing to serve. This is an Olive Garden I would not mind going back to, but I'll make sure to call first.

Don't even waste your time going in there. This one will for sure make you hate Olive Garden! The service is lousy, the food is cold when you get it. I was so surprised by this lack of service because it's a new restaurant. First time I went to eat in a chain restaurant and most of the items on the menu were out. I'm really disapointed. Will never ever go to this location. You are really better off by going to McDonald across the street.

The hostess left us standing for 5 minutes in the middle of the restaurant (and did not return) when we asked if she could seat us in a booth instead of a table in the middle of the place (we have sometimes-noisy kids, and prefer to either corner them in or at least be in a corner away from others, so we don't bother them.) She said "well all our booths are dirty." I said "Would you mind asking them to clean one please? We can wait a minute." And then she just walked away and left us standing there... eventually another server came up and I'm not sure if she knew we were waiting or what... but she led us to a booth in a corner. Perfect! The server was genuinely nice- I feel bad that something must have been off because she tried. Maybe she forgot or something, I don't know... our appetizer plain old never came out, though we ordered it with the kids' food. They discontinued the parmesan steak ravioli thing they had going on- that dish was AMAZING! (OG marketers, you don't know what the heck you're doing d/c'ing that!) She did ask the manager, who suggested a different dish that was nothing like the parm ravioli... I chose a flatbread instead, knowing that the last few times I ordered it, it came out dry and flavorless. That app never came out, though our food took quite a while to come out, so I don't know what happened. Maybe she forgot to put it in the system? In any case, the kids' food was out first as requested. The mac & cheese here is orange- it has been a white creamy sauce everywhere else we've ordered it (we order it so we don't have orange stains on the baby's shirts when we go here, like other places that serve Kraft) I sent it back and asked for alfredo sauce with a little mozzarella- I assume that's what the others do? In any case, she brought it back out with just alfredo sauce (no cheese) but it was fine. the baby liked and in the end, that's what matters- he eats quietly, everyone is happy. Our food finally came out- mine had clearly been sitting under a warmer at least for a little while, and it was (surprise!) dry and flavorless. Maybe the first time I had it, it was made incorrectly, and that's why it was so good and I have yet to receive the same level of deliciousness? I don't know... Refills didn't happen or took forever, I can't remember which but it wasn't good and I was thirsty. I didn't like my flatbread and told her it was only so-so. The desserts looked as though they had been pre-packaged (and smashed flat?) and were not nearly as good as those we had in Texas just about 5-6 weeks ago. They were like the "Twinkie" version of dessert- just tasted like fake syrups and overly sweet, processed breads/cakes. (They were the little dolce mini things) When she brought the bill, it was incorrect, as she had to ring through the food that we had sent back (as cancelled) then added something else, but then took off something else? I can't remember what it was, but we had to send the check back twice. In the end, they actually took off more than they should have by about .50 or so. I gave it to her in a tip (along with her actual tip of course) Maybe she got triple-sat... I don't know what happened. I feel bad because the problem with our check caused her to have to put our neighbors on the back burner while she sorted it out- a manager really should have come over and settled the issues with us so the server could focus on her other tables and keep momentum going. It's a theme I've noticed in Maryland with most places- look out for your own self- don't help anyone else. It unfortunately either appears to extend from or begin with the management. Someone should have really stepped in to help her since obviously something wasn't going right. I liked her, and we may give this location another chance, but it will be with low expectations, when we are not in a rush.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
