Five Guys seems to be everywhere these days, and with good reason. Their burgers are far and away better than any cheap fast food chain, and better than their direct competition (e.g. Fatburger). The cajun fries are great, and the "regular" size is plenty for two people. I tried their hot dog once -- good, but it's no burger. This location, just down the road from Arundel Mills Mall, is definitely one of the better outlets. I've eaten here plenty of times, and only encountered slight mishaps barely worth mentioning (a missing topping, plain instead of cajun fries, that kind of stuff). The staff is very friendly, and they keep the place clean. It does get very crowded at peak hours -- especially lunch -- so seating can be an issue. I did have one weird experience here... I purchased a six pack at the liquor store two doors down, and declined a bag because, you know, it's already got a handle. I had the beer on the table while I was waiting for my food, which I was going to take home to consume along with the beer. An employee came over with a plastic shopping bag, asking me put the six pack in there because they "don't have a liquor license and could get in trouble." I told her I wasn't going to drink it here, but she insisted, so I complied with her request... still very strange though. Maryland has plenty of stupid alcohol regulations, so I wouldn't be surprised to find out I was breaking some outdated Puritanical law or something.

This is the best burger I ate since I moved from Texas. Burgers are from fresh ground meat (not frozen).Fries are home style and big. Kids loved the peanuts before lunch. it is very casual and fast food style. Price is okay for quality. Great for eat and go... Be aware of fried food smell on your dress...

Yes! Yes! Yes! Samuel L Jackson would be a fan (think Pulp Fiction)...They do make a tasty burger! This place gives me the feeling Fuddruckers used to give me back in the 90s, You get huge servings as well, my medium fries were like 2 large fries from ol' Ronald's. Don't ask why I'm just now catching the Five Guys bug...guess I'm just late...5 guys, 5 stars...

I've used to live near the original, before they went franchise and ate there a few times a year. These new stores are not the same but they are still some of the best (worse for you) burgers and fries out there. Order a small fry (trust me there are plenty).

Love Five Guys, there isn't much I can say about them other then it's one of the best fast food type burger joints that I have visited. Everything they cook is fresh and the portions are more then enough for one person. Just a heads up this location around lunch time gets packed wall to wall with people. They are usually quick to make peoples food and get them out but if you want to dine in good luck finding a empty chair.

It's 5 guys, it seriously doesn't get any better. Their Arundel Preserve location is pretty nice, considering it's across the street from my apartment. I see weight gain in my future...

To begin. The cashier couldn't understand my order...but then again I was talking fast. Anyways, that's when I knew everything else's was going to go wrong. I had to repeat the order 3x. Our number 006. They were on 995. They jumped to 010, then back to 997 then 001. They ran out of fries. The manager didn't know what orders to do first...go by numbers! We waited 30+ mins. And the lady gave us the wrong order. Their performance was poor under pressure on a Saturday Night.

Clean restaurant, staff was ok, not as friendly or outgoing as others I have been too. Food - typical 5 guys, but my burger was a bit messy and bun was too soggy. My kid's burgers looked better. Order came up in less than 5 minutes, made to order?

The fries are good - fresh-cut, hot, slightly crispy, just the right amount of salt. Unless you're looking for caloric overload, stick to the regular size fries. They'll fill the cup and then top off the bag. The regular order is almost more deep-fried potato than even I, a veteran fry lover, can take at one sitting. The large is for guys who can't see their own feet anymore. The burgers... meh. I've had better. They're not bad and they're stacked, but they're a little dry and a little bland. A little salt and a toasted bun would go a long way. They are made fresh to order, though, and the default is a double-burger. If it were just the fries, I'd give 'em four stars. If it were just about the burgers, they'd get two. Overall, better than the average fast-food joint, but I always want the burgers to be so much better than they really are.

They're good, don't get me wrong. But "A-OK" is the best way to describe Five Guys! This is only the 2nd time I've ever been to Five Guys, but this location seemed awfully small. Lunch rush on a Thursday was ridiculous! No parking, long line, no tables. But to their credit, the food was served up incredibly fast! I ended up just eating in my car, since there were no free tables inside, and no tables whatsoever outside. I've decided that the burgers are pretty good, but strangely, the worst part about it is the meat. Bland, dry, and a little tough, too. The fries were pretty good, but I could not come close to finishing them all. And we're just talking "regular" size, too... who the hell would order a large size here?!? I think it's hilarious that they are so proud of being picked as the best burger in Baltimore by AOL. Hahaha, cause I trust AOL for all my recommendations! ...not!

I like the hamburgers and love the buns! Fresh jalapenos are a must on the burger! I've seen someone order off the secret menu and got a double grilled cheese burger. It was a beast. There is a milkshake machine coming in June sometime!!!

This is my second time coming here. First time was great... Second time I asked for no bacon and there was bacon... I asked for ketchup and mustard ... No ketchup and mustard. My sister asked for no cheese and got cheese ... Soooo overall I'll probably be back but I'll definitely make sure to check my bag before I drive away.

I love five guys. I even used to work there through college. Went to get dinner at this five guys tonight...got home and was extremely disappointed. I got a cheese veggie and it looked like a pile of slop thrown together. The bun was smashed and everything was falling off. I had to eat it with my fingers and a fork. It was just so messy and the flavor was not the norm.

LOVEEEEE this place - a super clean joint with fast service and delish affordable food! Had an awesome time here with my frand today! I got a "Little Hamburger" with medium fries. As always, the burger was exploding with flavor. The fries were pipin' hot, seasoned perfectly! FYI: toppings here are free so load up for realz! I like getting tomatos, onions, grilled mushrooms, fresh jalapeños, and lettuce. So. Effin'. Yummy. OH, and don't forget to grab a handful of peanuts! Definitely fun to munch on while you wait~

Terrible service with terrible attitudes. If I did not order something that was put on my hamburger, it's your responsibility to fix it not give the customer attitude and huddle up with other employees to discuss it.

This is probably the best Five Guys in the area. Food is always hot and fresh. Tables are clean. Servers are friendly.

Food is always good, generous portions of fries and like always fresh peanuts. I went here for the first time and have been to other resturants before. The place is nice and is well kept. The cashier which I think was the manager is very positive and made my experience very positive. The openness of the restaurant feels like a nice old Americana vibe. They have the specialty coke machines and enjoyed a nice cup of lemon lime sheltzer water. One of the ketchup pumps wasn't working or was empty maybe they should stick a cup on it to tell customers to use the one next to it. Other then that I had an overall good experience. Not an all the time type place but definitely a guilty pleasue.

Coco greeted me with a bright smile and friendly conversation. The food is great but the service is what I enjoy the most. I especially like that you can call in your order.

This is your standard gut bombing Five Guys. It gets packed during lunch and parking can be a nightmare. They aren't the fastest preparers but when it is filled to the brim I will give them a bump. There is never enough seating and they will often screw up your order.

Been here a few times now. The burgers were usually pretty juicy and cooked well, but I think they could use a little more seasoning (a little salt would probably do the trick). The toppings do address the lack of seasoning some, but not entirely in my opinion. The fries are really good though and they give a choice of malt vinegar or ketchup to go with it. The best part of Five Guys is that everything is made fresh, so each item is always nice and hot. This place also sells some other items (like hot dogs), but I've never tried those. Also, the free peanuts while waiting for your order is a nice touch :-) It's a good and cheap place to get pretty good food and I'd go again, but its not usually the first place on my list. The location is convenient being near Arundel Mills Mall. There is a parking lot, but not necessarily a lot of spots though.

Five guys! If you love good burgers and fries, this is the place to go. The food is slightly more expensive than McDonalds or burger king, but it is defiantly worth every penny. If you've never been to a Five Guys, you have no idea what you are missing. Get the Cajun fries if you like it spicy!

Best five guys in the area, hands down. Friendly staff. Fella at the counter sometimes punches up my order before I walk up to the counter (I usually get the same thing and come often). I've never been disappointed here.

I'm never disappointed by Five Guys - they have very good fast food burgers that are customizable with tons of toppings. I stick to the "little" cheeseburger (which is the size of a normal burger anywhere else) with lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onions and mushrooms, ketchup and mustard. I'm not very adventurous but I still enjoy the burger! It's usually cooked well and has a nice chargrilled flavor. They give you a TON of fries. I went with my dad and my boyfriend and we split one large fry between the three of us and still had extra. After filling up the container, they put it in the bag and THEN add more. It's kinda crazy...but I'm not complaining. I like the greasy fries; however, they're not my favorite. They don't have much flavor to me, although the vinegar is a nice addition. My favorite part of the meal though is the free peanuts! I could even forgo the fries and just eat peanuts. I love them! I always just get a free cup for water given that Five Guys is a little pricey, but I do like that they offer some good tea options, including sweetened green tea! I've never had any service issues at this Five Guys - they're always really nice when I order and pick up the food. It's not the cleanest location (especially during the lunch rush), but it's clean enough for me. It's fast food and they offer free peanuts...what do you expect?
