Plenty of bar, plenty of tables, great views, great bartenders, delicious drinks and they keep it clean. It can get really busy, but even then, the service is quick. I am not a fan on the bikini contests on Sunday, so I am sure to get my fill on Saturdays. (Never had food here, but it looked good.) Be sure to check it out, especially if you can visit by boat!

This whole bar area is really a hidden gem to the DC scene. If you have a car and are close to route 50 you'll be surprised to find yourself a mere 30 min from the may bay bridge and maybe 45 min door to door for this bar. Sure that's not a trivial drive but everyone I've taken out here has loved the beachy feel it brings without committing to a full beach trip. Red Eye's is the place to go late in summer to enjoy the cooler evenings around sunset. They tend to have pretty respectable party bands on a very legit outdoor stage. You can grab tables on the dock along the water. Family friendly until dark. Service has always been good. Food is all solid, but honestly nothing amazing. Standard bar seafood like you'd expect in Ocean city. Always satisfied but never impressed. Beer selection is like a standard sports bar. The real point of coming here is the wonderful outdoor atmosphere on beautiful summer days. They have an endearing decor that is brilliantly colorful and naturally relaxing. Of the bars in the area this probably the youngest crowd. kent narrows certainly favors more of a middle aged socially active person. Don't expect to meet a bunch of kids in their 20s but on average the crowd is fun and energetic. Tip: have a DD and wander around to the various tiki bars on docks in the area and enjoy dancing to top 40 tunes on nice nights. Red Eye's is not a bad spot to stay put. If Red Eye is your plan for the night get there early for dinner and put your cover charge money to a couple beers or a fish sandwich. sorry the photo is blurry but gives u an idea of the feel.

I feel sorry for the waitress here. For a 4th of July weekend there should be more staff. Service was slooooowwwww, food was cold, we never asked how our food was because we would have told her the burger was cold. It has now taken us over 20 min just to get the check. Needs new management, your staff would get better tips if they had better support. Did not complain to the waitress because it was not her fault. Never coming here again.

I love it here!! Nick, the bartender, is great! My sister and I ordered a Chesapeake Chicken sandwich to share. Nick went above and beyond for us! We had moved from his bar to the main bar after ordering and he brought our food over to us himself! He even had the cooks cut the sandwich in half for us! Just wonderful! I definitely recommend!

Charged us a $5 cover for 2pm on a Sunday for a band that wasn't playing until later that night. ATM didn't work and it smelled terribly. Security was nice and very pleasant. Decided to pass and find a better seaside bar.

Red Eyes Infamous Summertime Sunday Bikini Contest and all day Live Music extravaganza is the absolute biggest party happening within a hundred miles on any given Sunday afternoon. People come from as far as Delaware and Pennsylvania to attend this all day event. The beer is cold, the big name local bands never disappoint, the girls in the crowd are wearing bikini tops & daisy dukes, the guys in the crowd are shirtless, the view right on the water is great, and everyone is having a good time. There's are two ways to arrive at Red Eyes... By water if you own a boat or by land if you own a car or motorcycle. So when you pull up don't be put off by the rows and rows of custom bikes at the walk in entrance. The bikers that hang out here are all a very friendly crowd. One look at the very well trained, very professional, and noticeably present security staff as soon as you walk in and throughout the dock bar should put any doubts you have immediately at ease. Trouble here is seldom, and in the rare instances when someone does get out of hand, they're always quickly dealt with and ushered out the front gate. Food on the weekends is only served off the outdoor grill, so don't expect more than Hotdogs, Hamburgers, etc... They do have a little more extensive menu that's cooked in the kitchen, but I guess that's only available to the Weekday evening crowds. If you get hungry for something more, Harris Crab house is on one side and Annie's is on the other. Despite the motivations of some of the other questionable reviewers handing out a single star reviews, the Bartenders are always attentive and friendly here. With 4 outdoor bars staffed with multiple bar tenders, two girls set up with ice tubs full of cold beer, and a 5th indoor bar too, getting a drink is never a problem even when the place is packed with a few hundred people. If you've never been to Red Eyes, it's definitely worth checking out. And if you've already visited, chances are you'll keep coming back for more!

A fun and casual hangout for lunch, afternoon cocktails in the sun or dinner and a boogie with the live bands. Great service, bustling atmosphere, good location and the food and pricing is great for what it is. The pizza was average I have to say, but the burgers and seafood are good. Portions are extremely generous for everything.

Nice view and good live band, but terrible bartender and food. I sat beside the bar, and the bartender even drank and smoked when they were working!!! and their attitude is very rude and bad. Food tastes like trash, not worthy at all. I guess if you are going for the bikini girls then it's fine, but don't expect anything else.

Grabbing lunch at the bar on Friday before memorial weekend. They were fairly slow. We sat at the bar because the no-see-umps were biting bad at the outdoor tables. Ordered steamed shrimp, onion rings, chicken fingers with fries. Chicken was ordinary frozen breaded fingers as were the fries. Nothing special. Shrimp were well seasoned and not overlooked, onion rings were tasty and not too greasy, but came out Luke warm. Overall, basic food. Not poor, but nothing special.

Fun local bar in Grasonville which turned out to be perfect for our bachelorette party. There was a great band playing that night-- What Mama Said (they were awesome and super nice, serenaded our bachelorette!!). Bartenders seemed a little unfriendly first but I think warmed up to us later. We really appreciated the one bartender who knew how to make chocolate covered pretzel shots. :) Thanks!

HH from 4-9. 1/2 price draft. $2 domestics. $3 rail. $3 wine. Btw, I am in the bar and Yelp won't let me check in.

I'm not surprised this place hasn't been reviewed much. I wonder if East Coaster's yelp as much as West Coaster's cuz I talked about yelp a lot with strangers on the plane in Baltimore and Houston they've, never heard of it. Anyhoo... RED EYE'S DOCK BAR is the real deal!! You can't beat getting shellfish fresh outta the water in Maryland and having it served up in a HUGE bowl for only $13!! And its right on the bay.

If you're expecting friendly, attentive service, stay away from Red Eye. A group of friends and I (all of whom have been in the bar business for 30 plus years combined) went there early June this year. We went to the bar where we were greeted with a head nod, and keep in mind that this was a relatively slow day. After ordering a round of beers, the bartender seemed to roll her eyes as if we were asking too much of her (God forbid we order drinks at a bar). Since we all are in the bar business, we understood that some days, you just do not want to deal with any customers, so we didn't hold it against her, but when it happened every time with different bartenders, we became very irritated. It took so long to order drinks that we sobered up between rounds (exaggeration obviously but you get the point). We were so displeased with the service that we tipped lower than we ever have. I have never tipped under 20% and it broke my heart for the first time to tip 10%. The service was simply atrocious and needless to say, I will never go back there. Just because a bartender works at a hot tourist spot, it does not mean that he or she can treat customers neglectfully. Sorry Red Eye bartenders, you could have made a lot of money that day if you took two seconds out of your day to at the very least smile or act as if you wanted to be there.

If you've ever fondly enjoyed a trip to a bar right near the water (the ones in Miami and the poolside joints in Vegas come to mind), don't even think about heading out to this one, unless you want to be monumentally disappointed...although if you do come to grips with the fact that you actually are in Grasonville, MD, don't mind the lack of cultural diversity, and just need some liquor in your system while in lounging in beachwear, this joint will hit the spot real good. You also gotta give this joint some credit though, the band they've got performing on Sunday afternoon does attract a large crowd, even though they can't sing for jack...this place is also literally right beside the seafood smorgasbord known as Harris Crab House, so it's a convenient joint to sweat off the smell of the crabs still reeking from your clothes.
