Omg I can't stand this location. They got my business only because it's the closest Popeyes near my house. The service here is unbelievably SLOW! Avoid this place if you're in a hurry. A cajun rice and a cajun mash can easily take you more than 15 minutes. They lack organization. Oh let me add there was no apology whatsoever.

I love Popeye's, it's my fave fast food chicken place. This one is located close to home, and they've got a nice friendly staff. Good speedy service.

I purchased a double take deal for this Popeye's at doubletakedeals.com . The only thing that I did not like about the deal is you spend $10 and get two $10 vouchers which total $20 that cannot be used together. you can only use one voucher at a time and then the coupon expires with two to three weeks of the purchase date. On the other hand When I arrived the staff greeted me and I also seen two staff members I use to work with back in the day ( when I was Youngster). I was happy to see them and they treated me great, they had fresh food available, and the service was fast. Thanks

Its a fast food restaurant what most people expect? As long as you get your food promptly, somewhat good customer service and no bugs or human parts in your food then its a great fast food place. That what I got food in a moderate time, good service and food w/ no bugs or human parts in it so this is a good fast food place to me. Only complaint the chicken was very very salty but mashed potatoes and gravey was yum.

i love this popeyes location. People who work there are very nice. Me and my family been coming here over the past years this is my favorite location. They know how to treat their customers. The previous manager went to my school and he is very nice and the current manager as well. The only con about this is they charge sauces and it takes a while to get your food but there service is wonderful . I would reccomend this location to anyone who wants pop eyes in the area. ps: If you wait long for your food they give you a drink if youre thirsty or if youre really hungry they give you something. I love this place.

I made the biggest mistake by returning to this Popeyes after receiving bad service in November of 2014. I thought this location would have improved from my last visit, but it seem like they are still up to the same antics. I will go down the list and explain everything wrong with this location. Food: I decided to get the 10 piece mixed chicken special. It comes with 2 large sides and 5 biscuits for only $20 bucks. Now when I first got in line, I immediately noticed that they had a very small quantity of chicken available on the racks. So my initial thoughts were "Wait a minute. It's a freaking Sunday afternoon. Why doesn't this location have piles of chicken ready to put in boxes?! I know Sunday is a very busy day for Popeyes, so not seeing readily available chicken was strange to me. I was told I had to wait about 5 minutes for spicy. Cool, I agreed to wait. This meant I would get the opportunity to get some fresh and pipping hot chicken. WRONG!!! I took it home and was immediately disgusted with the first bite. Whomever cooked the chicken rushed the cooking process and they do not have the temperate set properly on the greaser. One side of the chicken was done and the other side of the chicken was not done all the way, I would still taste the wetness from the batter. Now from my cooking experiences and knowledge, if the fryer is set too high, the food won't cook properly because the outside will get done first before the inside. That's exactly what happened. The chicken was god-awful. Even the biscuits tasted like they served us old biscuits that were made a few days ago. Sad to say, but the best parts were the red beans and rice and the cole slaw. Customer Service: I don't have the slighest clue as to why this location gets a nasty attitude when you ask for the piece breakdown when ordering a large quantity meal. Yes, I'm ordering 10 pieces of chicken. I would like to know exactly how many breasts, wings, thighs, and legs I'm getting. You would be secretly serving me 1 breast, 2 wings, and the rest thighs and legs. No thank you. I like to ensure that it's a fair breakdown. I asked for the legs to be upcharged to breasts instead and the guy says "You know it's gonna be extra right?" Ummm yeah, go figure. That's why I said the word 'Upcharge' because it means it will be a higher price. I can read clearly, thank you very much. When I got my order, I asked for some honey packets, strawberry jam packets, and some sauce packets for the chicken. The guy gets another attitude that I'm asking for condiments for my meal. I just spend well over $25 dollars for chicken and you get an attitude when I'm requesting condiments for my meal!?!? You are out of your mind. Don't ever come inside of this location asking for sauce with your chicken and the chicken isn't chicken strips. They will try to charge you .50 cents for each dipping sauce you request. Cleanliness: I had to use the restroom while I was there, so as I go back to the restroom, it looks like there's a dried up trail of garbage juice on the ground. I guess someone didn't think to use a mop to get the nasty trail up. Also, do yourself a favor and stay away from the restroom. It's one of those restrooms where you have to cover your nose with your shirt to avoid puking from the smell. The good thing is, the seating area of the restaurant was fairly clean and inviting to dine-in. Overall: I will never return to this location ever again. Mind you, I live in Gaithersburg. If I ever want Popeyes chicken done right, I will gladly make that 30 minute trip to DC or southern PG County to get my Popeye fix.

Can I give negative stars? Atrocious customer service - should I expect anything else I guess? Drove here to get a meal for the family? Ordered three sides and I got home and only had two. I understand, people make mistakes, but here's where the fun begins... Tried to call them - published phone number doesn't go through. So i got my family started on dinner and headed back out. I asked the manager for a refund or other compensation for their mistake, and he developed an attitude. When I read my displeasure at his attitude, he refused to provide me with the customer service contact information, his name, and whether the store franchised or corporately owned. Of course, the customer care phone number is printed there in the store. So I called and filed a complaint with corporate there on the spot. Memo to Popeyes - you cannot afford to lose customers through poor management. Continued.... Just got home and my food is cold. $32 for two adults and one child of cold / wrongly provided food. For that I could have eaten at Cava Grill, chipotle, etc

The other day I came in and ordered 22 pieces of chicken, so I asked when the fresh batch was coming ? They said 10 minutes so I waited. Who doesn't like fresh chicken ? So The bird comes out and I said I want the ones that just came out and he began to give be the old chicken , i had to correct him two times! He was trying to be slick and mix old with new chicken. Then I had to deal with this mean Spanish older woman who acts like the food is going to affect her paycheck, I asked for hot Cajun fries since I have a to go order, she was like no it's hot, it was lukewarm and by the time I get home they will be cold! So I had to demand for hot fries! She gave me the stink eye. As if my day couldn't get any worse, you have to ask for every little condiment , napkins , wipes , plates sauces, ketchup, I asked for more and grouchy old lady was like I already did! Well captain obvious , obviously you didn't give me enough otherwise I would ask, last couple of times I came here I had to deal with captain obvious, I think she lives in the back of the kitchen, if you get her ask for someone else, what chaps my ..s is she isn't even a manager! So it goes back to one star.

I visited this location and need I say how rude the staff was. First, the employee told me that they do not give cups for water, not a problem. There were five of us, I decided to buy a gallon of ice tea. She told me she would give me 4 cups and not 5. The Manager come out, named "ELMER". Declares that the owner does not care for feedback or to hear from customers so they could not provide me a number to reach superiors, as he, Elmer was the most superior in a nutshell. I felt sorry for him because apparently he didn't understand business and how the system works. While someone is suffering and paying overhead, they hired useless clowns to run their business into the ground. I told them that I'd like to give feedback on the service and needed the district manager. They told me that this popeyes is not a part of the district and there was no one to give feedback to. If I wanted to, I could call the 800 number for popeyes and say what I wanted to. If you are the owner, please contact me. I told these clowns that it is impossible for someone to pay to run a business and not care how the money is being spent or how customers are treated. I will not return to this location, but will dig and find out why it is managed in the manner it is and why is Elmer there running the place like it is his private home?

Rudest workers ever. I came in earlier today and only wanted 3 pieces of the chicken tenders, biscuit, small fries and a red beans and rice. After telling the cashier that I did NOT want the meal, she proceeded to charge me for it anyway. I went back to the cash register after looking over my receipt and was told by another worker that they can not sell the tenders separately which makes absolutely no sense to me. What restaurant doesn't sell entrees? The girl who took my order approached in a very rude manner and told me that she had asked if I wanted the meal and I said yes. After telling her that she heard wrong she continued to bag my food and was giving me nasty glances. The only good thing out of my visit was the food, but I'll never be returning here again.

There have been several visits here where I had to wait a very long time for my food. Despite this I was compensated each time for having to wait so long. The first time I waited a while I was offered a free apple pie. The second time I was offered the same thing plus a free drink. The third time I was offered a free drink, got two free extra chicken strips, got 2 free biscuits, and they gave me large fries instead of regular at no extra charge. I'm not making this up. Things like this make me more willing to return.

Really great fast food if you like fried chicken. This location is small, and I've never seen a line more than one or two people deep. The red beans and rice is wonderful, tasty, comfort food. The green beans aren't fresh from the farm, but they're in a tasty, pork-flecked gooey sauce, so get them, too, for a balanced, if a little unhealthy, fast food meal.

3.5 stars, if you like Popeyes this is a good location. It's clean, and the food is consistent. The staff are friendly and efficient, and really seem to want to make their customers happy (they've apologized and offered a free drink a number of times while I was waiting for chicken strips for a carryout order). They usually have a number of combo specials on a whiteboard, so if you're a little flexible on what you're looking for you can usually save a bit over their normal menu prices if you're looking to feed a couple people. It's on the outskirts of Germantown, so parking is always great. There are really only two downsides to this location, and although neither of them is a big deal they're worth mentioning: - The shopping center this location is in is very close to the waste water treatment plant on Great Seneca highway. Everyone who lives nearby knows this, but at times (especially in the summer) the entire area smells somewhat of distilled ass. It's not the restaurant's fault, so if you detect a strange odor on the way in cut them some slack. That said, I always get carryout. - The ventilation system in the food prep area isn't the greatest. Most of the time it's fine, but every once and a while the place kind of gets a smokey haze if they're busy and pushing a lot of food through. My wife has some significant breathing problems and it's not enough to bother her, but it's kind of odd.
