    I'm a big fro-yo lover so, I was excited to try out Sweet Frog, especially after I read such great reviews. I would have rated this place with 5 stars, but a few things made me knock it down to 4. Upon entering, the music was very loud. Luckily, I was one of two customers there so, there wasn't any additional noise. I felt like if I had gone with someone else, I would be yelling to talk to them. The other thing was that I wasn't greeted by the woman working when entering. She had just finished answering someone's question when I walked in and she went into the back room, not emerging until the woman in front of me (and myself) were at the register waiting to ring up. Because of this, I couldn't ask for a sample cup. This was a big turn off for me, as I've been to many fro-yo places that have sample cups out, or someone who is available to hand them out, and I think sampling the flavors is very important. Many times the fro-yo spoils and ends up tasting sour so, I like to make sure the flavor is good before paying for it. :) On a positive note-the place is very clean and decorated nicely with bright and fun colors. I felt like the pricing was very reasonable, too. I expected my cup to cost more than $5 and it ended up being less than $4! On top of great pricing, there are SO many toppings to choose from and the topping bar was clean and organized. I was pleasantly surprised by how fresh the fruit looked-it didn't look like it had been sitting out for hours. There were many wonderful flavors to choose from and the three that I chose all tasted great. Personally-banana fosters was a big win! I will definitely be back to Sweet Frog!

    This place only allows one sample per customer. There was a sign that says samples are for paying customers only. There is a sign on the toppings bar that says no pictures. I prefer Menchie's. They allow you to have more than one sample. Needless to say, I did not make a purchase.

    Eh, it's alright. Just a little too sweet for my liking. Customer service wasn't the best.

    I am writing regarding the atrocious customer service that I received during my last visit on October 23, 2013. Below is a copy of the letter that my fiancée sent to the Sweet Frog Corporate Office on October 24, 2013. It is now February 2, 2014 and we have yet to receive any type of reply.. In honor of my fiancés birthday three of our friends wanted to treat us to Sweet Frog for her birthday. Because of everyone's job we knew it would be a later in the evening event in order to allow time for commutes from Washington DC and Leesburg. We had been in Sweet Frog on October 14th, but I double checked the hours to ensure that they closed at 9:30pm as we had remembered. According to the Google listing for this location, the store was in fact open until 9:30. I have included a screen shot from my phone that I took after the horrid experience in the store and while standing in line at the local gas station where I had to go to get my toppings. We arrived at the Frederick, MD Sweet Frog location at a couple minutes before 9pm, and a little perplexed because all the chairs were picked up. But because there were about a half dozen teenage boys either horsing around or lounging at the tables we assumed the store had been slow so they had began cleaning up before 9:30. However upon entering, the employee closest to the door, who was a blonde girl in her mid-teens, rudely informed us that they were closed. The loudly blaring music in the background combined with the group of loud teenagers sitting in the tables, made it difficult to hear what she said so we had to ask her to repeat what she said. When she once again rudely stated that they were closed, I explained that the website stated that they would be open. The employee began arguing with me about what the website had said. I will be quite honest, in my excitement I had checked the web listing several times that week to make sure that the hours hadn't changed. I was informed in a condescending tone that there are several Sweet Frogs all over not just in Frederick. I politely explained that I was aware that there were Sweet Frogs all over; I also stated that while other Sweet Frogs in the area also listed that they closed at 9:30pm, I had looked specifically at the listing for Frederick to ensure that they too followed those hours. It was then that she stated rudely that the hours had been changed on Monday by the new manager. Having only been there last week, I hadn't seen anything about new and changing hours so I was a bit surprised by her reply. One person in the party explained that it was my fiancés birthday and that we had made our plans based around the website that, we understood she personally wasn't in charge of, but that had stated their hours as closing at 9:30pm. She then said that if we could come in and get yogurt as long as we did so quickly and without making a mess. It was while the 5 of us were getting our yogurt that the employee, whose name I didn't get, again attempted to argue with me about what I had seen on the website. I was incredulous that this employee was continuing to argue with me after allowing us to come in. I was even more flabbergasted that it wasn't until AFTER we all had our frozen yogurt selected that we were told that we couldn't have any toppings. While the topping bar was still fully stocked, they "had already washed the spoons" and therefore we could not have any toppings. Frankly, if we wanted plan soft serve we would have driven up the street to Diary Queen. As it was we had to drive to the local gas station in order to purchase candy and other products in order to create our own toppings. Quite frankly I internally debated recommended that we leave all 5 dishes of frozen yogurt and leaving the establishment all together. The combination of the rude treatment by the employee and then to be permitted in but not permitted to have toppings because they didn't want to rewash the spoons was ludicrous. I would have understood if she said that we couldn't come in because they were "closed", despite it being a couple minutes before 9pm, but to make the decision to let us in and then treat us so rudely is baffling to me. I am not sure if the 9:00pm closing is an anomaly for this store, but regardless of the closing time, the rude, condescending manner in which we were treated is atrocious. There are many excellent things about Sweet Frog, the number one reason being the focus of fully relying on God; however there are other establishments that provide a product that may not be as wonderful but their customer service certainly out shines Sweet Frog. I am disappointed not only because the horrid customer service and disappointing dish of plain yogurt put a damper on our celebration but the evening certainly did not live up to the expectation that this would be "the best frozen yogurt" nor was it the "warm, family-friendly environment" that is touted on your website.

    This is my new favorite frozen yogurt joint in Frederick. Their yogurt is as good, if not better than Tutti Frutti plus they have better and more varied toppings along with a hot fudge dispenser at the end of the line. Prices are comparable to the other two.

    I love Sweet Frog, but the visit to this location was not good. I used my usual ingredients. I did like the fact they had pecans at this one as some do not. But the Vanilla was like Ice Milk and gritty. I don't know if it is because the product was not cold enough or what, but I was not happy with this location.

    The yogurt was a little too sweet for my taste. Some of the toppings they had had bugs on them (or little pieces of chocolate according to the staff). Although they had a lot of flavors and fruits, they didn't have strawberry or banana flavors and no banana pieces!! Speaking of the staff, I could've found friendlier staff at a funeral. Overall a poor experience. There are better places for FRO-YO!!
