Good steaks, kind of slow service, a bit high on prices. The steak is always cooked the way I ask for. The salads are fresh and they give you plenty of dressing. The atmosphere is nothing special.

Bartender here is awesome. She is all by herself and doing a awesome job taking orders and interaction with her customers.

Great Steak for decent price I love eating there, one of my customers wants to make all our business meetings there. Seems like lots of other small business owners have meetings there too judging from all the trucks and vans parked there all the time.

Walking in, floor was greasy/slippery and the carpet smelled damp and mildewy. Waitress was prompt with both service and food delivery. Cheese stuffed/bacon wrapped "filet" left me wondering what it was a filet of...it was awful. Everything else was ok, but nothing special. There are other places in Frederick with better atmosphere and better steak. No reason to ever go back here.

We waited for 25 minutes when we were told 20. Once seated the waitress was rude from the beginning. We were left with water cups empty and had to track down a manger for bread. He didn't seem to care either. She seemed chatting with all of her other tables but was rude to us and offered very little if any service. The food was sub par and will NOT return. You've been warned.

This is another late review. I dined here in late July with two girlfriends. Food not so great. Service terrible, i.e. our waiter felt it his duty to explain to us (with a long face) that his dog had just died. That put a damper on what should have been a fun night out with friends. He got our order wrong, didn't refill drinks, didn't bring us any bread (which is one of my favorite things at this place) because he said they ran out of bread. Funny that a group of people who came in later got a basket of hot rolls from their waiter. I would not return to this particular LongHorn Steakhouse for any reason.

Low rating because the server bought us plates for our app and one of them OBVIOUSLY had someone's leftover food on it... Just as I began to ask for a new plate, the sever tried to SLYLY pick the leftover off the plate.... Then tried to play it off when I asked for a new one like, "oh god, that's so gross." Yeah, it's f***ing gross that if I DIDNT see that you would've just put that plate back on my table. Wtf. I don't pay $30 for a steak to eat off dirty plates, get it the f*** together. So based off of that... I'm not exactly sure of ill ever dine at this place again. If that's something I caught, I can only imagine what I CANT see.

It's difficult to find a good steak in Hawaii at a reasonable price, so I was delighted to try this place especially after seeing the ads. It was everything that I'd hoped for and wasn't disappointed at all. Everything was delicious and I only wish they'd open one on Oahu. If I'm ever in a town where there is a Longhorn around, expect a visit from me.

Longhorn is the place for Great Steaks!!! I just oredered takeout last weekend and had their 22oz Porterhouse. It was like I was eating it inside the restauraunt. Great environment and food. Service is a plus as well. Tey them out!!!

For a chain this restaurant is pretty darn good! The steaks are always cooked just as I order them, the sides are good and the prices are reasonable. Service is efficient.

This is the place in Frederick to go for steak. I ordered the Steak with crabmeat for $22 (the steak alone would have been $18 or 19--can't remember, but it is listed as Flo's steak). The steak was very tender and juicy and cooked exactly as ordered. it was topped with chunks of crabmeat in a creamy sauce (kind of like crab imperial). Very, very good. I chose a salad as one side--it was pretty ordinary, but good--and mashed potatoes. I asked it they were real potatoes and the waitress said yes, and they were very good. The meal also came with round loafs of wheat bread, sliced almost all the way through to make it easier and very fresh. I went there with a group of 8, and, despite having that many people, the service was efficient and attentive. Our waitress was named Shana and she was friendly, but not imposing. Everyone in the group was happy with their food and the service. Will definately mark this down as the place to go when I'm in the mood for a good steak.

Their menu is just alright BUT their rib-eye is really good!!! Burgers are eh...at the Ruby Tuesdays level. Salad is ok. Conclusion: if you are in the mood for specifically rib-eye steak, this is a very good bet. Oh by the way, avoid the Long-Horn rib-eye (wait, was it called Long Horn rib-eye or was it Texas size rib-eye). Be sure to get it regular size.

I am a very social business professional who is lucky enough (and lazy enough in the kitchen) to dine out approximately 6-10 times per week. I am used to bad dining experiences which thankfully are mostly a rare occasion. There are times however, that I am so incensed about my restaurant experience, that I write a nastygram to either the restaurant in question or to Yelp as a review. I am sorry to say that this review one such experience. Here are the following reasons why this LongHorn location did not meet my expectations. 1. I arrived at the host stand and the host (who was an older gentleman) would not even look at me while saying the words "you will have to wait". Not a good start 2. Our server (Crystal K) was very unfriendly. She was actually so unfriendly to the point of making us uncomfortable. I actually had to break the ice with her and ask if everything was ok. What's worse is that her attitude was to get worse, see point 7. 3. My dining companion ordered a Chicken Avocado melt. He informed our server that it is important that there be no tomato on the sandwich as he is allergic to them. Of course his sandwich was served with tomato. 4. I ordered a Chef's Selection Ribeye (the $25 one). I made it very clear that I wanted it well done. I even said its fine if it's served "cremated" just don't serve it red. Of course when the steak came out the steak was red raw on the inside. 5. Once the food was served our server went missing in action. I wanted to return my steak and my dining companion wanted to return his sandwich. The problem was we could not get our server. She did not check on us once. My dining companion just gave up trying to return his sandwich and he scraped the tomato residue off his bread and ate his sandwich (somewhat nervously I should add). By the time our server showed up 20 minutes later both of the people dining with me had finished their meals and my raw steak was sitting on the table untouched. 6. I explained what happened to my server, she grabbed the steak and started to move to the kitchen. I did not get one apology. 7. I shouted down the server and told her that at this point so much time had passed that I did not now have enough time to wait for my steak to be properly cooked and to eat it (I only had an hour allotted for lunch). I asked her to remove the steak from my check, and then got rolled eyes and attitude. Seriously. I am the one that got hosed out of lunch because of something LongHorn did and it's my problem? Not happy. 8. I asked for the check and waited....and waited....and waited. I asked the server what the delay was and told that she had to wait for the manager in order to have the food removed from the check but the manager was "in a meeting". At this point I am so late and so hungry that I was almost willing to pay for the steak that I didn't eat just to get out of the restaurant. 9. Finally the check was ceremoniously dumped on my table. It was of course immediately paid so I could exit the facility. I was however steaming at this point, yet no manager in sight. As a business professional I know the importance of providing face time to unhappy customers. The manager of this store had obviously signed off on removing the steak from the bill yet didn't afford me the courtesy of a visit. This is very poor management. As an FYI I left the LongHorn and immediately went across the street to Arby's. My food there was delivered on time and with no fuss. Of course that food was on my own dime as opposed to the business meal that my company paid for at LongHorn. Anyway to sum things I understand, and I am understanding that things happen. Hosts/ servers can have bad personal days and make mistakes, the kitchen can make mistakes, the manager can get busy. I can deal with a few mistakes but what happened to me today was the perfect storm. Every single Longhorn employee who I came into contact with (and the manager who I should have come into contact with but didn't) failed me and my dining party. I am very, very unhappy with what happened and the fact that I had to go get fast food after my visit to LongHorn was the piece de la résistance of a miserable lunch excursion.

Great service and very friendly wait staff. The waitress even checked my id, which I specify on my credit card. The food was good as well. Salads tasted fresh and had a good assortment of vegetables! The sides and main dishes were good too. I got a sirloin steak medium and it was juicy. My dad got a well-done and it was much drier, but that's what you expect. The only con to the meal was that the mashed potatoes were way too salty. As long as you steer clear of those, you're in for a great meal!

The place is amazing. The steaks is so delicious and very affordable! Clean and their waitresses are nice. Will go back again.

For the food, I rate it a 4 but the service was about a 3.5. My husband and I started off by ordering the Brew Pub Pretzel Sticks which were nice and hot and came out within 5 minutes. The dipping sauces (beer cheese and bacon honey mustard) were delicious! My husband ordered the flat iron steak and I ordered the Redrock grilled shrimp, but our server completely forgot to submit our order. We waited a total of 35 minutes until we received our main courses. Our server was apologetic and very nice, but we were just surprised to hear that our order was forgotten. Thankfully our appetizers, bread, and side salads were enough to keep us "comfortable" until our main courses arrived. I thought they would (possibly) compensate for forgetting (or losing) our orders but all they did was apologize. No discount...no free dessert. Oh well...

This place is ok....sometimes. Occasionally I have gotten a good waiter/waitress, but they never seem to hang around for long. There is a particular server here, whose name might be David (I can't exactly remember) who has reddish hair and wire rimmed glasses who is excellent. Otherwise, you're not getting your food or refills any time soon, so sip slowly and settle in for the long haul. The staff here always acts like the customer's request is too much trouble. I have asked for a booth and the hostess practically threw the menu at me when I sat down, while rolling her eyes. The last waitress I had was obviously peeved because I only wanted an appetizer and dessert, and never refilled my drink. The food is regularly served in several states of doneness. I have had steaks so overcooked that they could not be chewed, one that was literally room temperature, and a case of charred parmesean chicken with ice cold broccoli. The bottom line: thanks, but no thanks..save yourself the trouble and go to Outback.

Service was good and food was good too. The issue is this is the third or fourth time I have been to this restaurant for dinner and every time there is a huge line with waits in excess of an hour. When you go in though there are always 3 -5 tables which remain empty for 20+ minutes after people leave. The hostess staff and the mgr have no urgency to get people seated at the vacant tables. Its amazing how poorly they handle this. Many people were walking out during our waits.

This restuarant was great. The server was good and the food was good. We ran into a problem with the shrimp... it was extra crispy. We told the waiter and they bought us some new ones and then some. We will definitely be back.

The honor of my first review of 2014 goes to a steakhouse... It just couldn't be any other way. I ate here last night for my birthday dinner. Seeing as how it was a Tuesday and temperature was a balmy 2 degrees, a hearty steak in a non assuming restaurant sounded pretty good. JV and I were immediately greeted by a manager at the host stand and seated in a comfy booth. The restaurant was surprisingly lively, and there were several large parties seated near us. I have a strange fondness for pina coladas and Longhorn's did not disappoint. It was blended just right and I could actually taste the alcohol! I had a couple of sips of JV's cocktail (something with mule in the name) which was Jim Beam, ginger, and something else. I'm not a fan of Jim but I think with a better bourbon it would've been awesome, and certainly more adventurous than the usual chain restaurant cocktails! On to the food. The shrimp and lobster dip app was very cheesy and much heavier on the shrimp than lobster. Come to think of it, it wasn't very dippy- much more like melted cheese in a ramekin. The chips that came with it were a bit too oily but they were warm and crispy. Didn't hate it, didn't love it. The salad was most disappointing. I ordered the mixed greens which I imagined would be spinach, arugula, radicchio, etc. Nope, it was just an iceberg mix with shredded cheese and croutons. At least the server brought out oil and vinegar for me to dress it myself which was a nice thought. So why four stars? The Blue Crab Meyer Lemon Fillet was ah-MAY-zing! Literally everything about the steak was perfect- the seasoning, the temperature, the char. The crab topping was generous and the light hollandaise was a great complement. The steak was served with 3 thin but delicious asparagus spears and my choice of side. Naturally I chose the bacon mac and cheese. HEAVEN. PURE HEAVEN. I can't even say any more. Our server was lovely, checking in after every course but never being overbearing. Too bad I don't remember her name or I would ask for her next time. Besides the lame salad, my only other criticism is there was someone at the host stand when we left but she didn't say good night to us. I demand attention!

Went tonight with 3 girlfriends for a relaxing evening. Our waitress was excellent and so much fun. 2 of us tried the lamb chop special. They were perfect! A touch of crispiness, some acidity, and cooked perfectly. Would order them again. The addition of the horseradish mashed potatoes and spinach was a wonderful accompaniment

Been coming here for years and I can't recall a single bad experience. We love the fire cracker chicken wraps and their sirloin. Food is always good and they have good service. The only problem is getting a table on a busy night.

Our 'go to' place for decent steaks when we don't want to spend over $30 for them. Their steaks are so well seasoned and tasty! This last visit they over cooked his ribeye and they took it right back and prepared another one....even took it off the bill which I thought was appropriate as I had already eaten my steak meal before his make up dish finally came. Our waitress was tipped well because she was on point and ensured we were taken care of. The manager that evening came by to bring the correctly cooked steak with an apology. Great job! Oh.....bathrooms were very well maintained so no stars deducted here! ;)

** Delayed review of a visit in late October ** Arrived and happily taken to a table right away. Bread offering was good, given a second round within seconds. My NY Strip Steak was top-notch! Best ever! Service was superb! Always had a plenty of iced tea to drink! However, my salad could've been better... Come on now - I came to eat! Salads need more than cheese, and lettuce... just my recommendation for any and all salads. Service was superb! My waiter always checked in and asked how my meal was. Like I mentioned, the NY Strip was top-notch... no need to jazz it up with sauce, etc. Side dished I had were enough to sooth the hunger. Only drawback.... wish the NY Strip was a lot larger, but that is not a negative comment! If I'm in the area, I will stop in and get more to eat!

Have eaten here several times in the last year. Service is very friendly and paced appropriately once it starts. Only knock is that the time between seating and first contact from waiter is longer than I am used to at other places. But the ribs, shrimp, and steaks are wonderful. Price is reasonable for the offerings.

We went here on a Saturday night so we knew that service wouldn't be perfect. The wait wasn't too bad, but our server may need to take some lessons on professionalism. When coming to our table, he tossed our drink coasters on the table as if he was dealing cards at a casino. He also dropped a stack of plates for our appetizers on the table with a loud bang! He would appear over our shoulders, startling many at the table multiple times. He also asked us to move the salt, pepper, etc. off of the table so he'd have more room. But the good thing was that whenever we thought we wanted or needed something, he appeared! The joke at the table was that Jesus was a server ninja! The food was great, so, in the end, it was a good night!

Came here on a date on Super Bowl Sunday. The drinks were awesome. My wife had a berry sangria, which was amazing. All food ordered was good until the entrees came out. Both steaks were cooked poorly. My wife ordered a special 6oz medium steak and it was under cooked. (Rare) I ordered a New York strip and it was well medium. When I ordered a medium rare. Amy was a great waitress and Mark (the manager) quickly took our steaks and fixed them. Overall good experience. Would recommend this restaurant based on their excellent service. Also, as a side note Mark seemed like the type of manager that I would have wanted as a manager when I was working in the restaurant business, based on the fact he ordered pizza for his staff on Super Bowl Sunday.

First, the experience was bad! The server bringing our bread to the table, sneezed into her right hand, changed hands to put our bread plates in the right hand, then proceeded to put them onto our table for our use. YUK! Thumbs in plates... Just plain unprofessional server behavior. I will never, ever go there again. I am so sorry we did this time. I was looking for the minus 1 star button, but couldn't find it.

If you love beef this place is probably the place for you. As for a chicken fan like me, it's a little bit disappointing. I tried to eat the chicken wrap appetizer (unfried) as an entree, but there was barely any chicken in it. You could only taste the cheese and not good cheddar, but overly thick mock cheddar. If you are wondering what mock cheddar is it's like putting non velveeta cheese on mac and cheese. Plus, that was 8 bucks and one of the cheapest dishes on the menu. Veggie options were lacking as well. On the other hand, the steak eaters seemed pretty content with the place and its high priced beef options. The server staff was also a plus and provided us with our food in a timely manner and allowed me to get my dish grilled instead of fried. I wouldn't say this place is necessarily a skip, but you need the right crowd to dine here.

T-bone steak a bit gritty cooked to medium rare, great app, fast service almost to fast . Server very helpful , great for the kids . The steak lower the star by 1, appetizer fried asparagus Parmesan delicious!

This is one of the better chain steak places I have eaten at. The service was very quick and polite. The steak was impeccable considering the prices, which are fairly reasonable. The sides are also great especially the chicken wrap/quesidillas. Visually the spot is inviting and bright. The lunchtime rush does not deter the service too much and is prompt. Would recommend for a nice lunch or dinner with friends/family.

Stopped here for dinner last night. Got right in and didn't have to wait. Our server (Becca) was amazing. She was efficient and fast. We asked if the new grits were good, and she was honest and told us that she has not sold a lot of it. My table (3 people) ended up ordering two steaks and the salmon for our entrées. everything was very good and cooked the right way. The steak was juicy and the salmon was great! Becca was an excellent server and it was a great dinner.

I use to love this place, but the last few times, IDK. On my last visit, I ordered the white cheddar bacon wrap steak. The reason why they add white cheddar and bacon is to hide the fact that the steak was all fat, nothing but fat, every bite. Since we went to celebrate my father's 65, we had a decent size group. The rub they used on my father's steak was inconsistent, too hot and spicy for the old man in one bite, then dead flat in the next. Use to be good, but like I said service is great, but food quality has been steadily declining since Lone Star closed. Guess when there is less competition, there is little reason to strive for quality. Won't be back.

Over cooked, under cooked can't you all get it right? Spending $78.00 out for two and the salad is the best thing I should have stayed home and cooked a Costco steak and been happy. Waitress was very friendly, apologized again and again. She told the manager twice and he just walked away from her. She saw me typing and she pleaded not to write a bad review. Too bad, its the managements fault.

I've always been a Longhorn fan. But the past few times I've been to this one, I've started changing my mind. Dine in, the service tends to be slow and unhelpful more often than not. To avoid this, I started calling in to-go orders. This is hit or miss. The folks that answer the phone are great. The bartenders do their jobs very well. I think the problem is likely during busy timeframes (ie Weekends) they are simply understaffed behind the bar and for to-go orders. Last time in (tonight) I was at the end of the bar with four other separate people waiting for to-go orders. I got there 20 minutes after calling and was told it would be a few more minutes as they had a number of large parties. No big deal for me. Twenty minutes later (so 40 minutes total) I was starting to get annoyed. I look down to the carryout window and see a number of to-go boxes sitting and waiting. And siting, and waiting. To be fair, the main bartender and her helper who was in charge of the to-go stuff, were running around filling drink orders and dealing with the bar patrons. But they either needed another set of hands, or the fact that so many to-go orders piled up should've made someone stop and think that those should be dealt with. 50 minutes total and I received my dinner order to go. I was pretty annoyed but not really at the staff, just the system. To top things off, I got home and my steak was extremely well done (I had ordered medium rare) and dry. As a filet of beef that I just paid over twenty dollars for, this was beyond disappointing. I suggest that until management steps up and figures out some operational fixes, that this place be avoided during busy times at least.
