Jojo breakfast is the best in town hands down. I usually get the breakfast sandwich and it's always good they always give you a nice portion of home fries really good with cheese

We go to Jo Jo's mostly for breakfast. Their biscuits and sausage gravy are to die for. I've only been there for lunch once, I got a hot dog and it made me feel kind of sick. Everyone else's lunch was good though, so it could have been just me. This place definitely knows what it's doing when it comes to breakfast though. My only complaint is that it's not always the cleanest place to eat. But if you overlook that, it's a pretty good restaurant.

It is a combo 50's 3 stool counter take out lunchroom bustle with cheap prices. The $1.99 breakfast special was a filled plate with toast and it was just right. Buckwheat pancakes for the wife and I am out the door under $10 and everyone is happy.

Let's first establish that this 5 star review is for Jo Jo's breakfast experience. If you're looking for a write-up on their hot dogs, look elsewhere. Jo Jo's breakfast is the freaking BOMB. My spouse and I each got the "Super Breakfast." It was $6.49 and was yummy in our tummies. We were both really hungry and are people of above average appetites and we couldn't even finish half the meal. It comes with 3 eggs any style (we got scrambled with cheese and onions), home fries, a meat choice, and either two pieces of french toast or two hotcakes. I must admit I consider myself something of a french toast connoisseur, or maybe it's just that I eat a whole lotta french toast, but anyway, this french toast was de.lec.ta.ble. Thick, moist, and bursting with vanilla cinnamon goodness. And our waitress! Our coffees and waters never stood a chance at getting empty. She was awesome. We were super satisfied with the super breakfast, only to go home and have another full meal of leftovers for lunch. Both of us. For less than 20 bucks. We WILL be back, perhaps at the expense of our waistlines but certainly not of our wallets.

Not the best hot dogs I've ever eaten but they get points for their creative dawg entries on their extensive hot dog menu. Not all are great but the good ones are solid. Decent prices, but I usually go only when I have a coupon. I'd rather eat at Deerhead Hot Dogs Cart in the BP Gas Station Lot by Peoples Plaza on Rt. 40.

I think the Berk's hot dogs are pretty good. I am particularly fond of the sweet potato fries. The breakfasts are quite good, so any time I have had a fasting blood test, that is where I go. They even have buckwheat pancakes! . .

I caught a glimpse of the sign so I stopped in for a bite and decided to try 4 of their hot dogs and a funnel cake. On first impression I felt as if I might be in for a bit of trouble. The "menu" was a scanned and reprinted gray scale reproduction of what appears to, at one time, have been an actual tri-fold brochure. The date on the print said 2007, and I gathered that many of the items on the menu marked "new" had been "new" quite a long time ago. 2 of the 4 hot dogs I had I would classify as inedible. The Idaho Dog (With hasbrowns & a red vinegar sauce) and the "Chesapeake" which was covered with a concoction that was supposed to resemble a Maryland crab cake but the smell was foul and the taste was worse. I will say that their core hot dog and bun are quite good, deep fried 1/4 pound dogs. The fixings, however, left a lot to be desired. The one saving grace was their Boston hot dog topped with baked beans and onions which was quite good actually. The atmosphere was a bit half baked. There is a sit-down area with mismatched tables and chairs and a shoddy carpet and although the walls were (for the most part) pleasantly decorated with antique signs they share near equal space with what appear to be advertisements that were printed at home and shoddily placed around. The overhead lights flickered a bit, and not all were functioning. To end the meal I tried the funnel cake which was fair. A bit thick and chewy which put it on par with low-end carnival style funnel cakes. Not what I expected to be restaurant quality. JoJo's has potential. There are no other places around to find a decent hot dog, but a strong focus on atmosphere and quality ingredients needs to be made before I cast a shadow on their doorstep again.
