A Living Social deal for two Medium Smoothies with Enhancers brought me here. An extensive selection of smoothies such as they have at Smoothie King can be overwhelming so I am glad I looked them up online before going in so I had an idea of what I wanted to get. I did not want to be "that guy" who stands there and looks at every single item before making a decision. I did, however look at the other choices to determine what to get next time during my long wait time as they made my smoothies. I got Pineapple Pleasure and Fruit Fusion with energy enhancer(Ginkgo Biloba and Siberian Ginseng) The Pineapple Pleasure is Pineapple, Bananas, Papaya Juice Blend, Turbinado and Soy Protein. The Fruit Fusion is Apple Juice, Orange Juice, Mango Sorbet, Vanilla Protein Blend and Non-Fat Milk. There were two people working when I went around 5:15 in the afternoon and service was slow and one staff member did not know how to accept the Living Social deal as payment so the other person came and did it. Both smoothies were thick and lasted for quite a while as the medium is 32 ounces. Overall, I had a good experience at this location and I will be back again maybe in the summertime.

I LOVE Smoothie King! Any time I pass by I go and grab a smoothie and a protein bar. They have plenty of premade smoothie recipes as options, or you can mix fruits to create your own flavor. All the nutritional facts are right there in front of you. I recommend Mangosteen Madness and Passionfruit Passport. Sometimes they can be a little slow, but workers are always friendly.

Love the smoothies. HATE the wait time. I'm not sure if evening/mornings are better but any time I go during lunch there is one guy working and it takes forever.. I'm talking 25 minutes. I feel bad for them, so I'm never rude but they really need to have more people scheduled for the lunch time rush.

After moaning that there are no more Jamba Juices around I tried Smoothie King and I think I might just like it as well or better! Certainly better prices!

So even though its been a month since my visit and dont recall what we ordered theres still a bad taste in my mouth...i ordered something on the berry side that tasted more like banana then anything else. My wife ordered whatever has the most mangos and it tasted like...well we couldnt figure it out, we even had 2 of our other friends try and they had a different experience. DO NOT GO HERE unless you want a mystery smoothie. Only thing good to say was I like the interior design.

3.5 stars I like their selection of smoothies and the fact they give us all of their nutritional information right at the order counter. You can mix, match and add different ingredients to your heart's content. I usually choose a coffee smoothie and add protein. I like the flavors, though they can border on the ultra-sweet side. Smoothie King must not make enough off of their smoothies (even with their high prices) so they also sell potato chips (?), candy (?), gluten-free cookies, packaged healthy loaf cakes (really good!) and vitamins. They take forever to make your smoothie so it's hard not to succumb and buy something while you're waiting 10 or 15 minutes for your drink. Customer service is iffy. Staff seems apathetic and bored. Sometimes I get really weird energy from them while waiting to get a smoothie. I have to repeatedly tell them I want it thick- yes, it's a smoothie, not a fruit slushie- or they get it wrong. Kinda annoying because I would think that's a given. So I'm knocking off a 1/2 star for lack of consistency.

In California smoothie joints are just as common as coffee shops. In Maryland, however, smoothie places are far and few between. During lunch one day, I had a craving for some blended fruity goodness and was able to google the nearest Smoothie King. I had never been to a Smoothie King, but I love this place. The variety of flavors were endless. Also with plenty of health snacks to choose from I ended up spending more than I planned. But don't be fooled, the prices are reasonable and with the option to "skinny" or reduce the calories of any smoothie, you can't lose. To top it all off, the employees are patient and friendly.

Pros: Great place to get a quick and refreshing smoothie. The flavors are good, and the prices are fair. Be on the lookout for the calorie breakdown as well, this tool will definitely helps you to choose your smoothie wisely (the Gladiator is my favorite). You can mix and match to your taste also, which is great if you want to try a few different flavors (banana gets old after awhile). Cons: The SERVICE. Depending on the crew that you get, service is definitely hit or miss. The relatives of the owner move just above a glacial pace when making your smoothie. On a hot day, there are lines falling out of the door. Crowds are understandable, a lack of service quality causing the crowds is not. I hasten to add that there aren't any real smoothie places other than ice cream stands giving these folks a run for their money, adding to the problem. There is a short, dark-haired fellow there who is an exception; he will greet you upon entry and speed things along. With an improvement in the service area, this becomes a five star rating from a LOW 3.

When I lived used to live in southern Louisiana, Smoothie King was my favorite place to go to when I wanted something refreshing. I always had great service and great Smoothies. However, I have not 1 but 2 HUGE issues with this particular location. It's because of these issues that I will never return. 1) My coworker, who went with me and was very excited to try a smoothie that she could drink, suffers from Celiac Disease and has a high intolerance to gluten and wheat. According to the Smoothie King website, several of the smoothies are gluten free. However, when she looked at the menu on the board, only 1 smoothie was indicated as being gluten free....which smoothie? "Muscle Punch" which contains WHEAT GERM. When she inquired about it to the employee he said "I don't know, my manager says that's the only one (gluten free)." So, instead of trusting him, she walked out of the store smoothie-less. She has had this disease for 13 years and knows better to not eat something that obviously could harm her, but what about those who are new to the gluten-free lifestyle? Customers trust the food companies to be honest and insightful about issues like this....and if someone new to this lifestyle trusted the sign, they would end up very ill or worse depending on his/her intolerance level. 2) I had personally ordered a smoothie and had to wait 25 MINUTES FOR IT. 25 minutes!!!!! It was a Friday, Lunch time and only 3 other people in front of me! If you go into ANY Smoothie King in Louisiana, there are at LEAST 3 people working at 1 time because making the smoothies is time consuming...especially when they have to clean the blenders over and over again. But this location had 1 employee working. It was unacceptable.

I love Smoothie King! I don't get a chance to go that often, but when I go I usually get the Activator strawberry smoothie. I like to work out and anyone who works out knows that you can never get enough protein. That's part of the reason why I chose the Activator--it has 19 grams of protein (and only 1 gram of fat). But more importantly, it tastes so good. Smoothie King makes the best smoothies I've ever tasted, hands down. The only downside would be that the smoothies are kind of pricey.

I adore Smoothie King. It exceeds Tropical Smoothie by 100%. Smoothie King has astounding service, a great code of honor (you can return the drink if it is not up to your standards or liking), a clean store, a sanitary restroom, boundless merchandise inside and splendid advertisement. I have never had a a smoothie that I didn't like, until today! It was just AWFUL. However, I didn't complain since I knew what I was getting myself into. Today I decided to try the new smoothie powered by the new vegan protein brand called SunWarrior. If you have not had this protein before you wouldn't understand the dreadfulness. I went to DC's greenest last summer and actually purchased this protein because the way THEY made it was great! The way I made it at home was repulsive and clearly so was Smoothie Kings. I had two family members taste it; one immediately started to gag and make a horrible painful face as the other one washed their mouth out with water and started to spit it out. I forced this smoothie down knowing that it is "good for me." The protein tastes like particles of sandpaper is going down your throat and the taste of mango doesn't even exist in the smoothie because all you can taste and smell is the disgusting protein as well as the kale. Please stay away from the vegan protein, I warned you! I will always come back to this little smoothie shop and order anything but the SunWarrior smoothies!

Love this place, I don't go enough. The smoothies are my favorite, and the owner is awesome. The staff however young, needs to learn to smile and be a little more cheery.

The smoothies are fantastic! The customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I'll chalk it up to a bunch of young teenagers working there. I usually go in during the afternoon after I workout. ..and it is slow. They are barely polite and spend their time on their phone and flirting with each other. I'm all for having a good time at work. ...but when I am waiting to pay and you are on your cell phone that is unacceptable to me. There are a few employees that I am always happy to see. ...they are polite, efficient and professional.

It's not in the compressed juicing category but mix blending smoothie. Regardless, if smoothie is your thing, Smoothie is the king. It got a board of menu that you can select from. The smoothie types have interesting, fun names and presumed to be a healthy drink option.

Stopped in for the first time this morning to grab a smoothie on my way into work. When you first step in you may be a little overwhelmed because they have a huge selection of flavors. It took me a few minutes to take in the whole menu. Fortunately for me there was no line in the morning so I wasn't pressured to make a quick decision. I got a smoothie with raspberry and banana which was fantastic. Great consistency and not too sweet for my taste. I was in and out pretty quickly with a yummy breakfast! They do have you order at one register and then move to another register which might be a little confusing for a newbie like me but I'm sure you will catch on.

The price is high considering that I make my own at home in California..BUT..it's your health and that's priceless (to an extent), right? I got the power punch smoothie and added kale and Greek yogurt, and had the energy booster (Turbinado as I already take lots of vitamins) taken out. YUMMY!!!!!!!

I have nothing but good things to say about this Smoothie King. Owner and staff were present upon my visit all with smiles and a small town friendliness uncommon in a strip mall setting. I imagine there are some regulars that frequent after work outs. I'm not a big smoothie guy to start with, so I had no idea what to order but I was lucky enough to meet the acquaintance of the owner. She gave some ordering advice and hooked me up with a protein packed smoothie that was delicious. Just based on her service and recommendations I will try again. She has an enormous smile and you can tell she really takes a lot of pride in her business. -Ben -Columbia

First couple of times I went to this place it was alright. The last two times were ridiculous. Music was loud dubstep, workers said "Welcome to club smoothie king.." They spent time hitting on the girl in front of me instead of making my smoothie. The smoothies I've tried here were okay and the size is good for the price if you disregard the customer service.

Not for me. It's overpriced. The service was meh. There is no seating area. The smoothies aren't yummy @ all. They're too sweet, yet watery. I won't be back.
