Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Blood Pressure at Pizza Hut

Fast-food restaurants like Pizza Hut are not recommended to dine-in if you are diagnosed with high blood pressure. High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for High Cholesterol

Keep your pizza intake to one slice to avoid high cholesterol intake while you dine at Pizza Hut. Skip Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice as it contains a high amount of fat and the sodium levels are also very high. Avoid the desserts section completely to limit the fat and sugar intake. Well, the on-line ordering process was very good. However, that is where it ended. You would not think customer service would be an issue when your on-line counter says your order is ready and you go to the store. Well, it was not and the store was in total confusion. The order was not ready and then it was wrong. Even the person fulfilling my order look at me and said "I know this was a bad experience for you" but he made no offer to make it better just excuses. The food quality (once I arrived home) was poor too. I still don't think I got the right salad or the right wings. The two pasta dishes seemed to be different quantity. The croutons in the salad where not crisp. The wings were (bone out) I think wrong and were not good anyway. The cheese bread and pastas tasted good though....that's a good thing. Wait! That was the only good thing about the experience after arriving at the store. So, I don't think I can honestly say I'd return or recommend to anyone that they go there either.

Tonight I ordered 2 pizzas to be delivered - one large pepperoni and one large veggie. I asked for them to be well done. I have had Pizza Hut pizzas before, although not from this location, and always enjoyed them. Apparently not all establishments are created equal. The pies were underdone rather than well done. They weren't even hot. Room temperature would be a better description. Very disappointing. I will not order from this place again.

I like this Pizza Hut location. I always order online and go pick it up since its a short drive away. Everytime I go my order is either just coming out the oven or its still in the oven so I know my food is hot. I only get Pizza usually two mediums from them. I have yet to try other Pizza Hut Items. The service is great and I always get coupons.

I used to stop by this particular pizza hut frequently as i worked down the street. I would get either the stuffed crust pepperoni lovers or just get a large with extra pepperoni. The management usually ordered it up and was quite a pleasure to chitchat with while waiting. The pizzas always turn out as ordered. (Well done with a crispy yet firm crust) Yesterday was no dissapointment. Firstly, our waitress was very friendly and helpful. We used a coupon for a free pizza and after a couple of minutes we were squared away with the order. She was quite attentive with the refills and remembering the extra marinara sauce. We sat and dined quite peacefully and by the end if the meal we were completely satisfied. The check arrived quickly without us feeling rushed. We tipped well and will definitely return.

The whole point of ordering online is to have it ready when you get there. Order four basic pizzas. 20 minutes after arriving, I'm still waiting. Ugh...

Pizza Hut employees hassled me and my child and refused to return the money for bad pizza and another time for late delivery to the wrong address. On Saturday, a manager told me to go in for a refund, but in the morning when I got there, I was harassed by employee who said that I'm not getting my money back. They have noted their computer unfairly. Late on Saturday at about 9pm, I tried to feed my baby and one employee refused to sell the pizza to me because I complained in the past about the soft and doughy pizza, and the harassment. Twice employees argued with me in-front of customers and when I refused to accept the treatment by demanding my money back, I was told that I complained too much. I think that my complaints help their business, and I've been a good customer. My child and I don't deserve to NOT EAT DINNER because We're refused service for making complaints. My 10 year old boy was crying and I couldn't sleep that night because I was forced to eat somewhere else where I got food poisoning.

Ordered 2 medium pizzas. 1 hand tossed with pineapple/bacon and 1 pan pizza with mushrooms/olives. The pan pizza was on point, but the hand tossed was not how I remembered Pizza Hut. It was a very generic crust...the best way to describe it is cafeteria pizza. Service was nice, but if I do carryout again, I'll stick with the pan style.

Worst pizza ever. The crust is stale and tasted like a cardboard. The tomatoes were rotten. Try the other store at Minstrel way. Never going to order here again.

Love pizza hut's pizza since I was a kid. However, service at this location is the worst. Two servers walked by our table numerous of times. Waited for like 10 minutes without even being asked what would we like to drink? Just decided to order take-out

I LOVE THIS PLACE...the reality of it is I LOVE ANY PIZZA HUT. When I come to pick up my pizza it's always ready and the staff is friendly. The restaurant is clean when I go and I have never had an issue with my order being incorrect. My former co-workers and I would always get the lunch special and were never disappointed. Even though it's in a small shopping center, parking is never an issue.

My stepfather recommend this place. Text me where do I want to eat after I get off work. Party for 4. The restaurant is nice and clean. The staff are nice and friendly. I have a salad which is really great and a pan pizza with pineapple and onions. They order a plain cheese pizza.

No, no, no, n o, NO! Run FAR away and order Pizza someplace else! This is one of the WORST Pizza Hut's I've ever used and it will continue to be as long as they have that stuck-up, idiot manager Shadia working there. Yes, that's her name and if you ever see her, just turn around and walk out (or hang up the phone if ordering). Let's start in January, when we ordered pan pizza... and got something that looked like handtossed. At first they claimed they had sent pan, but we told them, "No, this isn't pan". Eventually, after much deliberation while we were on hold, they admitted they had run out of pan dough and just sent us what they had. Yes, that's right, first they ran out of the very thing that makes their pizza different... and then they just sent us the WRONG thing, purposefully, hoping we wouldn't notice or care. When we asked for compensation? They said there was none, because they had nothing for us... they wouldn't even give us a free pizza. So I got the manager's name (Shadia, remember it), filed a report with corporate, was contacted and given free coupons. So we move to February, where we order pizza and wings... and receive a phone call later on that they'd run out of wings. After we'd been told by corporate that there is no reason for them to run out of things and it would never happen again. I told them to take the wings off the order, and they act shocked... "you want to cancel that part?!" Then, after saying they'd do it, they call and say, "Well, you'd already paid online, so we have to refund the entire thing." A few minutes later, "Ummm, now we need you to give us your entire card info over the phone." Again, the manager (who? Oh right, SHADIA) is completely unhelpful and we go to corporate again. Once more, apologies, they'll talk to the management there, free coupons, blah blah blah. Let's move on to March, where we give them another chance. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice... well, this was the third time, and we were the fools once more. They send the WRONG pizza, not even close; does Pepperoni look like Ground Beef to you? The people on the phone are confused, because I was supposed to get Ground Beef and had no idea how a Pepperoni got in there. They're sending the correct pizza ASAP and will collect the wrong one. Driver gets there, takes the wrong pizza and I open the new one... and it's PEPPERONI. Yes, they sent me the WRONG PIZZA AGAIN. I call in, fuming, and ask what they're going to do? Well, guess who (Yep, SHADIA!) says she'll get the right one out to me... in about 45-60 minutes, because they're busy. Yup, they send the wrong pizza TWICE, and now I have to wait until approx. 10 p.m. at night to get the right one. By this time, we'd had it. Even with contacting corporate AGAIN, and getting more free coupons, and more promises, we weren't going to use them. Three months we wait, and finally we give in... let's use these free coupons. So, it is June and we try to place an order. As we have coupons, we have to call it in, so I begin the process. Then I want to add a deal on their website, and the employee says they don't have that deal. "It's on your website, though." "Well, you have to order it online." "But I can't order online with this coupon for the other pizza." "Let me get you the manager and see what we can do..." Oh, good Lord... it's motherlovin' SHADIA! That's right, the same woman who has screwed up THREE MONTHS of orders and supposedly been talked to or (I had hoped) fired. What's her response? We'll have to place two orders (one online, one over the phone) and pay TWO DELIVERY FEES. Seriously, after all the crap we'd been through, after all the poor service from her and her restaurant, she's going to pull this on us?! Worse, when I told her I was shocked she still worked there, she got uppity and said, "I've worked here for 13 years and will CONTINUE to have this job." Wow, just wow. Seriously, take your service elsewhere. Dominos. Papa John's. Pizza Boli's. Go to the grocer and buy some Digiorno. Just do NOT USE THIS PIZZA HUT. Avoid it like the plague, because that's what SHADIA is; a horrific disease that lurks within our Pizza Hut, waiting to infect you with frustration, anger, and hunger (from never receiving your food). Until Pizza Hut purges her from this restaurant, this place should be quarantined and left to rot.

Wow! This had to be the worst experience at a pizza hut EVER! From beginning to end. All tables were full of trash and the menu's were filthy. I had a group of 7 people and they messed up everyone's order. Instead of a large pizza they brought out a personal pan. Instead of a thin crust they brought out a hand tossed TWICE!!! Other pizza's had the wrong toppings. This was a nightmare! With only 3 other patrons in the entire restaurant they couldn't do one single thing we asked. One guy asked for water with no ice, the waitress brought water with extra ice. It was so bad I felt like we must be on candid camera. At most restaurants you take the small things for granted like PLATES! They didn't have any clean plates available when we first started eating our pizza. I had to eat off of a napkin!!! 02/28/2015 marks the last time I will ever visit this pizza hut.

This is a review for ordering pizza from this place. I order my pizzas with the app for Xbox 360 and get them delivered from this location. They always deliver about 15-20 minutes ahead of the estimated delivery time and the delivery person is always friendly! not some ho-hum here's your pizza or whatever. The pizza is always hot and fresh as well!

IF YOU DESIRE GOOD SERVICE AND A CORRECTLY FILLED ORDER LOOK ELSEWHERE! We have been here twice, thinking the first time was just an aberation...it is not. Today we went -- parent and two kids for supper. They were not busy (are they ever?) Seating: slow and slovenly...no eye contact Taking order -- I ordered a veggie lovers minus green peppers, replace with pineapple. TWENTY minutes later a pizza arrived LOADED with green pepper...when I pointed the error out, she looked at her order sheet said "oh yeah, ae ya sure you don't want it, it take 20 minutes for me to get another one!" My son hates green peppers, so I said PLEASE get the one I ORDERED. Then the salads came, also LOADED with green peppers...REALLY IS SHE DEAF? She failed to fill my drink, failed to apologize for the error, failed to cut a deal or offer to help correct the error quickly. She totally disappeared for twenty minutes in fact, I could hear her visiting in the back...she only re-appeared once the pizza was ready 25 minutes later (I timed it). I told her to box it (my kids were done sitting in the FREEZING restaurant. She grumbled about "stupid customers". THe box arrived, I had to load the box. NO NAPKINS. When I asked the shift manager (our server had disappeared again) for some, he said "let me get you some" then disappeared as well....never to be seen again. We left.... Up until now, we thought onlythe Laurel location was deplorable...we were wrong. There is a reason this chain is headed to the toilet.. Leave now if you haven't already ready...and cancel your order...and that's even if you like the food!

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
