4.5 stars***** Happened to stop by here when in the area and was pleasantly surprised with this place. Had the Chicken with broccoli and Sesame chicken. The ingredients were fresh and dishes were cooked well, not too oily but with great flavor. A plus is that they had my favorite cream cheese crab wontons ( aka crab rangoons) which were also really good. Also noticed other customers ordering and they are able to adjust to taste, ie spicier or more mild, or with substitutes, which is a plus. This is not a full service restaurant but there are enough tables there to sit if you want to dine. Minimalistic decor but clean and comfortable. Overall would come back here for Chinese food if I was in the area.

Tasted like dog food. Sick for 2 days from food poisoning. Will never go back.

I've been getting my Chinese take out here for four years now. Love the beef lo mein and honey sesame chicken. Very large portions.

Good quality Chinese, at a great price. The lunch specials are insanely huge, and are right around $8. The owners are super friendly and always happy to see you. I would recommend the honey sesame chicken, marengo delight, steamed dumplings, and the general tso chicken white meat. They are always willing to customize a dish (lower sugar sauce, no oil, ect...)

This takeout joint has delicious and cheap basic American style Chinese food. Lunch specials have relatively large portions of an entree, egg roll and friend rice for $6 and change. When I call ahead take out is generally ready in 10 minutes. This place is great when you don't feel like cooking and just need some basic, cheap takeout. There are a few tables if you feel the need to eat in, however the decor is very spartan.

Bare bones, but after a couple of disappointing Chinese take out experiences (I was beginning to worry that MD didn't do decent Chinese) Hunan Diamond hit the spot. Fast, reasonably priced, always gets my order right, and delicious. It's probably a good thing they don't deliver...

It's cheap Chinese take out... The taste of the food is good, although there is another place that delivers who I think is the "best" :) but overall, unless it tastes bad, I'll still order here when necessary (it's 2 min away from home!) The lady has been there for years; she knows what she's doing and is quick! I've walked in to order (w/ out calling ahead) and often wait there for less than 10 mins.

The Szechuan bean curd I ordered was amazing and it's nice that they include rice free of charge with the order, however I ordered the vegetable chow mein and just received mixed vegetables with no chow mein noodles and the vegetables weren't exceptional. I'll most likely order from here again just because the Szechuan bean curd was so delicious.

We went there because we were meeting a family member halfway to Baltimore and this location seemed like a good compromise. I guess we would have preferred more of a Chinese restaurant rather than what is mostly a take-out business. The ladies did try hard to please. The food was just fine. It was served in take-out containers and they did give us each a Styrofoam plate and plastic knife and fork. The good thing was when we wanted to take some leftovers home, they were already in take-out containers, all we need was a bag to put them in. The average dish was $12 to $13 which is high for a purely take-out place. It would have been nice to pay those prices and be in a nice sit-down table-clothed restaurant with real plates and silverware. We'll be back for take-outs next time.

I am a regular, I LOVE their sesame chicken. The only thing I'd say is since I'm a regular, every time I go in I'm not sure how my chicken will taste. Overall it's always good, but I've had times were the flavor is off or there is hardly any chicken and it's just chunks of fried flour. Their egg rolls are good. But always check your food, because the owner can be sneaky in missing your egg roll with your lunch combo! Overall I'd give them a 4 out of 5 because when their sesame chicken is on point it's a 10 out 10!

I love this place. Friendly atmosphere, great food, and reasonable prices are what makes this little place an Asian jem. I recommend the honey sesame chicken. It's just addicting.

The owners are friendly. The eating area is small and unclean. The restroom is unclean. The food is thrown together and the vegetables are not washed first. Some dishes taste OK so two star. We had a live insect in our vegetables and were told the food comes like that.

This is a great neighborhood joint. The food is FANTASTIC. I really recommend the Honey Sesame Chicken, and Orange Beef. The staff is friendly and always in a good mood, and the serving sizes are large and plentiful. They offer the standard variety of menu items most Chinese restaurants do, but the flavor of their dishes is really unique - almost like a true family recipe. Order something and compare it to the taste of the same dish at other places and you'll see what I mean - this place is a real gem. Also, the fortune cookies are sometimes kinda kooky and usually make us laugh!

We went thee to celebrate one of kid's getting their drivers license... Shout out to Jenny! The portions were huge and flavored great! The sweet and sour sauce was delicious ... Not too sweet or too thick, so yummy! Great prices, great value, everything tasted satisfying! Lovely staff! I will go back!!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
